這天是我們拍拖6.5周年紀念, 於是MB上openrice找找平時少去的餐廳. 找到了這間在荔枝角的Amuse.平時根本不會涉足這區, 所以真的沒有什麼概念.我們坐巴士前往, 下車後走很短路程就找到了, 一路上其實渺無人煙, 所以很容易找到的 原本以為這裡好像有點偏遠應該不會有很多人,怎料一推開門之後發現差不多full house.我們thru tablemap book了位, 但去到reception好像找不到, 不過最後很快都安排到座位給我們.我們坐下不久, 暖暖的麵包徐徐送上, 平時通常只有butter 或 olive oil & vinegar, 但這裡有三種spread, 都不錯啊!~ 麵包都很軟熟, 就算不用spread都很好味.我們叫了兩道主菜和一個甜品, 第一個risotto: 味道是OK的, 但沒有甚麼驚喜; 大蝦煎得很香, 一上檯就聞到一陣陣令人立刻想食左隻蝦既味道, 但risotto就沒有甚麼味道, texture OK的.第二個係魚: 呢個好特別, 未試過咁食法, 魚稍為有D乾, 如果可以juicy一點會更好, 甜甜地的sauce也比較少, 建議可以加多D令味道

我們叫了兩道主菜和一個甜品, 第一個risotto: 味道是OK的, 但沒有甚麼驚喜; 大蝦煎得很香, 一上檯就聞到一陣陣令人立刻想食左隻蝦既味道, 但risotto就沒有甚麼味道, texture OK的.

Lately two of our teammates are leaving the team and so we chose Azure for a farewell lunch with them. We actually came here roughly 2 years ago for another teammate's farewell. This time, 22 of us reserved three separate long tables.Azure is on the 29/F of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel so on G/F, you need to ask for a staff to insert their key card for you to get access to the lift up. Azure is on the 29/F of Lan Kwai Fong Hotel so on G/F, you need to ask for a staff to insert their key card for you to get access to the lift up. When the lift arrived, we saw a foyer area with sofas, pool table, book shelves, etc, which already gives a very relaxing ambience. Then we went up the stairs and get to the main dining area.

There are not a lot of seats so there is reasonable "privacy" and coziness. I also like the color theme of it. We were seated swiftly and the staff took our order. I chose seafood platter for appetizer and the Hanger Steak for main course.

After placing our order, we went to the appetizer table to start our journey~~ There were many different small dishes/glasses containing various kinds of appetizers. But if you look closer, many were actually repeating. Was a bit disappointed by the level of variety. Furthermore, there was smoke salmon last time when we came here but not anymore now

You can also get bread and soup. The soup today was tomato cream soup. The soup was very good which was out of my expectation, with creamy texture and fresh tomato taste. It doesn't taste like those canned tomato soup. But the bread was a little hard, perhaps since it was not hot. 

The seafood platter contained a crab leg, two shrimps and 2 oysters. The crab leg and shrimps were standard, nothing very special. For the oysters, my colleague told me it's quite fresh so I could have a try (as I normally don't take fresh oysters). I took her advice and tried one. Ummmm.....I think I'll just stick with my routine and my colleague finally took the other remaining one.

Here are my picks from the appetizer table (from top to bottom, from left to right):
- nachos with avocado dip: first time seeing red nachos...hopefully no artifical coloring; but the avocado dip was fine
- a tiny piece of bread with unknown paste (I guess it's something related to salmon based on the pink color): the bread was even worse than the bread that went with the soup -  
- japanese egg custard in sesame sauce: so-so 
- marinated "papaya": that wass what the staff told me but I suspected it was carrot, which, I NORMALLT DON'T EAT...but I still managed to finish them...
- squid with thin noodles in Thai sauce: the one that I enjoyed the most and I actually went out to take another one
both the squid and noodles tasted right and matched with the Thai sauce!

Since we had 22 people, it took a while for the main course for all of us to arrive. Yet, the time taken was not too bad (perhaps with so many of us chatting around, we won't realise how long it actually took
). Although the staff didn't ask us how well we wanted the steak be done, the steak was very tender with pink fresh in the middle, just about right level that I wanted
It was so juicy that I amost didn't realise there was some sauce on the side that I could have the steak with. Seriously, this was really good!

When my main course came, the first thing that attracted me was actually not the steak but the potato
However, there was too little cream. Without cream, the potato didn't have much flavor so we asked for more. Even with extra cream, it still was not enough for finishing the whole potato


Another colleague ordered pizza for his main course - I actually didn't notice it was option. From the surface it looked quite good too, with pork and pineapple. But the portion looked too big for ladies.

At the point most of us were already quite full. However, seeing a table of desserts that were difficult to resist, and knowing there is ice cream, I still took some~ In short, the ice cream was good but that sago paste really CANNOT!!!!!!

想不到黑松露炸薯球會是今餐的前菜. 薯球外表脆卜卜的, 炸粉也不厚, 內裡的薯蓉混入了黑松露, 令普通平凡的薯蓉增添了惹味. 這個外脆內軟的薯球, 實在不錯吖.

麵包籃
誠然, 麵包只是今餐的一個小配角, 可是它卻不馬虎.
麵包籃內有五件麵包及四條芝士條, 牛油是三色牛油. 麵包是自家製, 十分鬆軟, 芝士條也脆卜卜的. 三色牛油就是由蒜蓉、蕃茄乾和香草組合而成, 比起普通的牛油更惹味, 塗在略帶咸味的麵包內就覺味道很匹配了.

杏仁白松露忌廉湯來了, 竟然是用茶壺裝住的, 然後侍應就在我們面前把湯倒入湯碗中, 這就可保持湯的溫度喇. 奶白色的忌廉湯, 濃郁又香滑, 不過白松露太過濃味了, 似乎蓋過了杏仁味, 而湯中的數顆麵包粒可令這個湯增加了些口感, 挻特別的.

海鮮拼盤
海鮮拼盤好像已成為這餐廳的必備菜式, 除了晚餐之外, 午市的半自助午餐也會贈送給食客的. 或許我倆對此海鮮拼盤期望太高了, 最後我們覺得它是有點失望的. 我們每人都有一個海鮮拼盤, 用冰鎮上陣的, 裡面有兩隻生蠔, 兩隻海蝦和一隻長蟹腳. 據總廚Roger所說, 生蠔來自法國的, 果然, 這兩隻法國蠔細細隻, 富有海水味, 很creamy的. 可是, 那兩隻海蝦卻不夠鮮味, 而長蟹腳的蟹肉很難離殼, 吃得有點困難, 只吃到蟹肉的味道只是一般已而.

青口意式雲吞
有不少西餐廳也有供應意式雲吞, 裡面的餡料大都是芝士, 菠菜之類, 但這個青口意式雲吞卻很特別, 在煙韌的雲吞皮裡面包住的是青口碎. 出面的餐廳, 大多數把青口完好無缺地放在菜式中的當眼位置, 但又怎會想到把它切碎埋藏在雲吞裡呢? 真有趣!! 醬汁是番茄忌廉醬, 味道甜甜酸酸, 配合火箭菜吃可減低火箭菜的苦澀味, 再加上白色的貌似西米的魚子醬來吃, 更感新穎得意.

烤開心果仁羊架
肉類我本身不多吃, 更可況吃羊架呢? 以我記憶所及, 吃羊架的次數只有十次以內, 所以我對羊架沒有太多研究. 當侍應送上烤開心果仁羊架時, 隨之而來的是香噴噴的開心果味, 原因是因為開心果仁碎包著羊架來烤嘛. 不過, 吃著的時候, 就覺得開心果仁味並不重. 羊架的肉質不硬, 容易切開, 吃著有口感. 另外, 配料有甘筍條, 亞枝竹, 薯蓉球和鮮露筍. 薯蓉球尤其幼滑, 甘筍條, 亞枝竹和鮮露筍也很鮮味. 當然, 我們也十分欣賞這碟羊架的賣相美麗得像一幅畫一樣啊.

士多啤李意大利飯
意大利飯是我近年愛吃的菜式, 但卻未試過用士多啤李做的意大利飯, 因此看到餐牌時, 心中十分期待. 不出我所料, 這個士多啤李意大利飯呈粉紅色, 散發著陣陣士多啤李的香甜味. 據Roger 所說, 這個意大利飯沒有加糖的, 全部都用士多啤李蓉混合意大利飯而成, 難怪飯中有很多士多啤李的籽粒喇. 這意大利飯夠濕潤, 甜中帶少少酸, 令人開胃. 由於它只用天然的生果做sauce, 味道始終不會太強烈, 所以它未能在我口中留下強勁的餘韻. 但老實說, 吃得天然一點也是好事呀.

紅莓撻
這紅莓撻有別於平日我們吃的, 因為它是斬件上, 意思是把紅莓撻的各種材料都放在同一個大碟上. 這個紅莓撻就包括了金寶粒, 半圓的紅莓慕士粒, 紅莓粒, 玫瑰花瓣及巴馬臣芝士雪糕. 據Roger說, 吃的時候一定要用匙羹裝著金寶, 慕士粒和紅莓一起吃. 金寶粒又脆又有牛油香. 紅莓慕士很清新不太甜. 紅莓粒偏酸. 玫瑰花瓣好看不好吃, 有點苦. 我覺得全碟的亮點就是巴馬臣芝士雪糕了.
它夠凍, 夠滑, 吃著時好像在吃冰凍的creamy甜芝士. 這碟紅莓撻的賣相也十分漂亮, 又玫瑰花又紅莓, 必定能吸引到女生喇.

Petit Four
我們倆的Petit Four用了一個長的碟子裝住了三件馬卡龍和三件芝士蛋糕. 馬卡龍是士多啤李味, 裡面的餡是朱古力, 整體不是過份的甜, 質感亦外脆內軟. 另一方面, 每件芝士蛋糕的上面也有一顆紅莓, 芝士蛋糕的芝士軟熟又creamy, 餅底薄而帶牛油香, 是一件不錯的芝士蛋糕呀.

Lime juice, Mojito
飲品方面, 這個餐本身是有餐飲的, 不過我們卻試了一些特飲. 我先後飲了Lime juice及Mojito. Lime juice的酸度大過甜度, 但有橘子的少許苦澀味中和了酸味, 所以令它變得容易入口. Mojito是Joanne的推介, 雖然我不愔酒精, 但既然來到也不妨一試. Mojito中的淡淡薄荷味, 大量檸檬及香草, 都是導致它清爽解渴的原因. 但說到底, 畢竟裡面是有蘭姆酒的, 酒的苦澀味道仍然存在.

再次感謝酒店公關的安排及熱情款待, 也多謝Roger時不時走出來和我們傾計. 我們也覺得這餐很有創意, 食物也有質素, 大家也很滿意.

如問香港最迷人之處是甚麼,個人會認為是美食,以及璀燦繁華的夜景;而來到隆堡蘭桂坊酒店的Azure Restaurant Slash Bar,大家可以兩者兼得!餐廳位於精品酒店的29-30樓,其中29樓是酒吧,由於食客以酒店住客及客務客為主,與樓下LKF tower內食肆嘈吵氣氛很不一樣,是靜靜把酒聊天的好地方。孕媽媽當然不是來喝酒的,而是與FHY及文迪一同受邀,前往30樓的餐廳享用6月特色set dinner。餐廳需經一條純白迴旋樓梯上去,頗有童話意味,後來公關講起原來這裡真是wedding cocktail勝地。的確,30樓完全是一片fine-dining格局,樓底超高兼有迷人夜景;是晚我們一行五人就坐靠窗沙發位,舒適寫意之餘又可居高臨下飽覽夜中環美景,很浪漫! 對住此情此景無論是慶祝紀念日, 甚至提出求婚, 都太適合了! 如換了日間來,陽光透過落地玻璃徐徐曬進餐廳內,不難想像真是絕美wedding cocktail場地。不說不知,餐廳還有balcony部分,景觀開揚又是迷人,並是活動包場時的透氣好地方呢!欣賞完美景,肚子開始餓,也是時間展開美食環節了。當晚的amuse bouche

然後是四道菜的Set dinner,意外地價錢不貴只$468(Citibank或OR更有85折優惠),而且很有水準,首先是
Almond-Truffle Soup。侍者會在食客面前將湯倒出,瞬間整張檯杏仁與香氣四溢,迷人極了;而此湯杏仁味道很濃厚,同時杏仁粒打得很細碎,令到湯質完全無渣而且很柔滑,熱度又足,再襯以白松露的幽香,以及一早舖底的香脆麵包粒,口味豐富迷人,大家均感滿意。


之後到
Fresh Oyster, Steamed Crab Leg & Steamed Shrimp Platter,以位上的份量來講一點不野少,我特別喜歡多肉的蟹腳,以及鮮爽大蝦;也要讚生蠔富有海水鮮味,結果全部清光了。吃這海鮮拼盤如配上白酒或氣酒,定會更盡興,不過大家還是乖乖陪我飲有氣水,對了,這裡用上英國的有氣水,很少見呢。

然後是四選一主菜環節,當晚我們不用煩,每款來了一份,原來全部均很有特色呢! 首先是
Veal Tenderloin & Rose Petals,小牛肉質十分柔嫩,火候亦對辦呈迷人粉紅色澤,但最驚喜還是底下的玫瑰花醬,清幽花香令肉味更加提昇,很出色!! 加上繽紛又健康的配菜,很難不滿意。

Pistachio Lamb也很得我歡心,那開心果外層脆皮超香脆好吃,羊肉柔嫩得來帶適中羶香,伴碟還有松子泡沫及精緻配菜,令到組合清新豐富,同時富有份子意味!

Mussels Ravioli,喜歡那雲吞皮有咬口,中間的青口與外層蕃茄醬及火箭菜也很相襯,伴碟還有rosemary味的魚子醬,非常特別,也是一款清新而且花心思之作。

最後一款主菜是令到大家都嘩然的
Strawberry Risotto,第一次見粉紅色的意大利飯,真是好美啊! 而原來清甜士多啤梨醬汁,與柔滑忌廉很是匹配,加上松露滲出來的香氣,口感又很對辦,值得滿分!

Set dinner的甜品---
Deconstructed Raspberry Tart也同樣精緻美味,這款拆散了的紅莓撻,看似隨意卻饒有美感,令人想起文華扒房的出品;當中香脆金寶粒、香滑玫瑰慕絲、香甜雲尼拿雪糕的組合原已十分清新美妙,再加上Parmesan Cheese Sorbet更是神來之筆,效果非常驚艷呢!

不少人都推介到姊妹店AVA吃氮氣雪糕,其實Azure也有
Subzero Liquid Nitro Icecream($168)呢! 那是非常之有睇頭的一場表演,製造過程煙霧彌漫,在這迷人環境顯得份外浪漫;而製起的氮氣雪糕會拌著玫瑰花瓣上檯,更添浪漫氣息,口味又較坊間的雪糕輕怡且清新,完全不會膩,拌以脆片同吃,為這頓清新富夏日氣息的晚餐劃上完美句號!

Set dinner還會包每位咖啡/茶,實在是相當豐富又抵食。是晚我也引不起movenpick咖啡的誘惑,點了杯Latte來過一過癮;與咖啡一同上檯還有款式精緻的Petit fours,內容包括迷你朱古力puff、macarons及玫瑰花造型的黑朱古力,十分豐富! 不過我會嫌macarons濕了點,還是黑朱古力最對味,相當喜歡的。

想與另一半浪漫撐餐檯,這裡實在是完美之選,但如想品嚐以上6月Set dinner清新菜式的,就要趁快因套餐是每月轉款的! 講多句,這裡semi-buffet lunch只是$338/兩位,超值非常,我也在想幾時帶老公與寶寶去吃!

麵包全是自家製,包括幾款小麥包及芝士條,前者軟熟有質感,後者鬆脆帶鹹香,相當有水準。塗料配上別緻嘅三色牛油,味道就分別喺蒜蓉、乾蕃茄及香草,不單止睇落得意,仲各有特式,以乾蕃茄較得小弟歡心,因為跟牛油嘅油香挺平衡

餐牌只有英文,所以菜式名稱以英文為準。嘩!飲「白湯」飲到又杏仁又白松露何其矜貴,仲要侍應即席堂前以茶壺沖湯,夠晒玩味呀
!咪以為得個整色整水,其實以茶壺保溫,令沖出嚟湯中嘅杏仁香氣特別突出,凝浮於空氣之中,而入口細滑輕柔,杏仁味非常之濃郁,相對啲哋白松露就幽香隱若,賣相脫俗,很滿意嘅一客餐湯

頭盤以海鮮拼盤坐陣,真喺用料捨得,海鮮嚟自法國或意大利貨式,質素有一定保證,而每一客海鮮拼盤已包括兩隻新鮮生蠔、兩隻海蝦及一隻長蟹腳(好彩嘅話仲可能喺隻蟹鉗添),全部冰鎮上枱。佐料分別喺紅醋、茄汁加「辣椒仔」及檸檬,生蠔厚肉又帶海水鹹鮮,海蝦鮮甜爽彈,至於長蟹腳肉質清爽。有食友唔食生蠔,小弟就更加恭敬不如從命,有殺無賠,多啲嚟密啲口,爽呀

賣相極漂亮嘅一道主菜,以好多食用花作裝飾。牛脊肉經過慢煮後薄切上碟,色澤仍帶有點點粉嫩,肉質鬆軟細嫩富牛肉味,而以玫瑰花所做嘅醬汁,渾然天成就有啲誇,但可以話喺味道天然清香,跟牛脊肉都幾夾
。配菜嘅仲有焦糖無花果、烤鮮露筍、杏仁薯蓉,都喺有心思嘅配搭,不但增添賣相嘅可觀性,更令整體味道、口感層次化

另一道賣相標緻又挺立體嘅主菜「烤羊架」,一客有兩支羊架,以往很多時候羊架均以香草作為醃料包住嚟燒,今次特別喺改用開心果仁碎黏滿羊架嚟燒,燒羊架火喉拿捏準繩,肉質色澤粉嫩,鬆軟唔羶,表面嘅開心果碎增加咗點點果仁香味,又較之多添份咬口感

野菌意大利飯最常食到,但「士多啤梨」就第一次試喇
,咁破格嘅組合究竟喺點樣?究竟喺咩味?真喺好期待!以士多啤梨汁、忌廉打造嘅意大利飯,上枱時已有種別樹一幟嘅感覺,因為佢實在好「粉紅」,甚有少女羞澀嘅樣子,食落口感濕潤,但飯粒咬口,帶有濃濃嘅士多啤梨清甜,雖然有少少食甜品嘅味道,但又唔會感覺好突兀,都真喺一個幾大膽嘅嘗試

從選材、製作、造型都甚具創意,又好有藝術色彩,一件「解構」咗嘅「紅莓撻」,有點癲覆常理
。碟嘅兩邊好似「金寶」(Crumble)嘅嘢就喺「撻肉」,伴以新鮮酸甜嘅紅莓粒、挺實嘅玫瑰慕絲粒(粉紅色嗰粒就喺喇),襯以玫瑰花瓣、食用花作裝飾,好有視覺效果

據公關姐姐說,azure每晚的welcome food都是不同的,今次,我們品嘗到的是黑松露薯波!一口薯波,芳香的松露味在口中迴蕩,再呷一口mojito,感覺這一頓是特別輕鬆又快樂的。

小妹平時最愛將麵包浸入湯品後,軟綿綿的夾雜陣陣湯品味道再吃。但是今晚小妹摒棄了以往的習慣,這裡的麵包是自家製作,鬆軟好吃,特別是這個小圖白色小包;而三色牛油亦是隆堡酒店的馳名創作,三種口味包括香草、蕃茄及蒜茸,三味一起薄薄的塗上麵包,正呀!!!

主菜的時間到了,包括士多啤梨意大利飯、意式雲吞、開心果烤羊架。
士多啤梨意大利飯(Risotto),士多啤梨的酸甜很突出啊,而且端出時已有陣陣果香,米飯咬感不俗。不過這道菜的確有點 '漏'的感覺(其實逢Risotto都人是'漏'的)。Roger又細心的解說,整道菜都是用上新鮮士多啤梨做的,並沒有加糖,那甜味是天然的。

意式雲吞(rivoli)是favourite of the night,rivoli平時都是厚厚的皮裹著芝士在中間,而這個rivoli煙韌的皮裡裹著的卻是青口,醬汁是玫瑰茄汁,非常醒胃,配菜有火箭菜加份子魚子醬,讚

一開始,公關姐姐已提醒羊肉會有羊羶味。的確這羊架的羊羶味也不輕,可是沒有這味又怎叫羊肉呢。羊架外層塗上了開心果碎, 使味道及質感都升級了。難得的是伴碟的果仁泡沫以及蔬菜,非常有心思啊,小妹不禁一口吞下那伴碟的。

甜品是Deconstructed Raspberry Tart,又一出色份子料理,包括有巴馬臣芝士雪糕、紅莓、玫瑰慕絲、撻底及玫瑰花瓣。小妹原來並不懂得品嘗此甜品,但覺芝士雪糕芝士味芳香濃郁,紅莓鮮甜多汁, 玫瑰慕絲清香幼滑。後來,Roger又悉心解說將所有的配料連花瓣一起吃下,果然,清新出眾。

然後係marcaron & cheese cake,這兩個都肯定是小妹頭號至愛。cheese cake 的口感好rich,加上酸酸甜甜的紅莓中和一下'膩'的感覺
 marcaroon是情意結,多年前到偶爾到法國旅行才品嚐過當地的marcaron,一時間感覺難以形容,像餅像糕,又好像什麼都不是,自此愛上了marcaron,而這個士多啤梨味的又是做得剛好,餅芯不會有一個個洞的,且甜而不膩,讚。

當晚晚膳至9時許,已陸續有不少俊男美女前來(大多數是外籍的),至10時,30樓的活動經已完畢,音樂越來越大,狂歡的氣氛越來越熱,AZURE最吸引人的地方是,浪漫情調又得,狂歡熱舞又得,$468+ 一頓晚飯,有景有氣氛有服務,是不錯的了。

三文魚: 先來的amuse bouche是三文魚, 簡簡單單的一片, 幾清新, 為是晚的晚餐展開序幕.

Almond-Truffle Soup: 9分, 是晚的湯就是杏仁白松露湯, 店員在我們面前才把湯倒出, 自然是另一個影相位. 湯的味道是相當清香, 杏仁是打得相當細滑, 完全不會吃到粒粒杏仁, 配上白松露, 帶點幽香, 兩者的配合是幾匹配的, 再加上面頭的麵包粒, 豐富了食味. 這客杏仁白松露湯, 有水準.

Fresh Oyster, Steamed Crab Leg & Steamed Shrimp Platter: 8分, 接下來的就是海鮮拚盤, 每人一客, 單計賣相已經很吸引. 生蠔夠新鮮, 海水味充足, 沒有腥味. 至於蟹腳及大蝦也是很鮮甜的, 特別喜歡大蝦, 肉質夠爽口, 如果配上白酒同吃的話, 應該更為滋味.

Mussels Ravioli: 7分, 到了主菜的部份, 四款選擇皆有特色. 如這款就是Mussels Ravioli, 意大利雲吞皮質感煙韌, 入面的就是青口, 不過有部份的質感一般, 有點難去咬開. 個醬汁是番茄忌廉醬, 幾開胃的, 配合魚子醬及火箭菜同吃, 是令人滿意的.

Pistachio Lamb: 8分, 另外一款肉類主菜就是羊架, 擺盤又是相當精緻的, 實在是賣相已經教人心動. 羊架的火候控制也是剛剛好, 肉質不會太實, 帶羊羶的味道, 特別在於表層加上開心果碎, 豐富了味道及質感, 是有趣的安排. 伴碟的是果仁泡沫以及菜蔬, 也有水準呢.

Strawberry Risotto: 9分, 對於愛甜的我們來講, 在四款主菜中, 當然最喜歡這款士多啤梨意大利飯. 以士多啤梨入饌的菜色不會令大家陌生, 但以此來配襯risotto就真的是很特別的組合. Risotto質感對辦, 有咬口, 不會太淋身, 士多啤梨的味道相當突出, 但那份甜味, 又跟risotto很匹配, 這個平衡是做得很好.

Deconstructed Raspberry Tart: 9分, 至於甜品方面, 是晚吃到的就是一個出色的分子甜品示範, 就是Deconstructed Raspberry Tart, 又是一上檯已經吸引了大家注視的甜品. 把紅莓撻重新解構, 成份包括有紅莓, 玫瑰慕絲, 以及撻底. 紅莓夠鮮甜, 玫瑰慕絲清香而細滑, 撻底也夠香脆. 特別在於加入了巴馬臣芝士雪糕, 芝士香濃郁, 那份鹹味, 跟紅莓的甜味配合在一起, 化學作用是相當不錯.

Petit Fours: 最後還跟上petit fours, 當中的朱古力泡芙質感鬆軟, 而朱古力macaron就不夠鬆脆, 還好是朱古力味道濃烈, 三款中還是最喜歡黑朱古力, 配上咖啡同吃, 自然是最匹配.

Mocha: 這客晚餐是包括咖啡或茶, 我的選擇是mocha, 是幾香濃的咖啡味, 不過朱古力的味道就不算太突出, 是因為被petit fours那邊的朱古力搶了鏡嗎?

這個晚市套餐, $468一位 (還有八五折), 能夠吃到以上的菜色 (當中的主菜是四選一), 計及這裡的環境, 氣氛, 服務及食物質素, 實在是相當合理的價位. 特別推介的菜色會是Almond-Truffle Soup, Strawberry Risotto以及Deconstructed Raspberry Tart. 當然, 到了七月的時候, 店方也會推廣另外一款晚市套餐, 就讓客人每個月來到Azure也能嘗試到不同的菜色.

Chocolate Trio $98: 9分, 晚市套餐的介紹到此為止, 但同場加映的就是我們另外點選的三款甜品, 真要謝謝客氣的市務部朋友, 讓我們也能夠試試店子的其他水準甜品. 先來的Chocolate Trio, 就是由三款朱古力結合而成, 包括有牛奶朱古力慕絲, 白朱古力雪葩以及Amaretto酒香黑朱古力. 牛奶朱古力慕絲質感細滑, 白朱古力雪葩不會太冰, 白朱古力味道香濃, 而Amaretto酒香黑朱古力的酒香突出, 三款朱古力甜品, 帶來三個不同的層次, 愛吃朱古力的朋友, 必定會大滿足.

Subzero Liquid Nitro Ice Cream $168: 8分, 最後一款甜品就是氮氣雪糕, 跟姊妹店AVA的出品有異曲同工之妙. 由大廚現場製作, 現場一時間煙霧彌漫, 更感浪漫的氣氛. 是晚吃到的氮氣雪糕, 質感也算細滑, 不過就是冰了點. 當然, 跟另一半一同吃這客雪糕, 怎也是無得輸的項目.

湯品,是晚我們喝到的是杏仁白松露湯,侍者即席在我們面前以茶壺倒下那湯,頗為香的。呷幾口,質感濃稠得宜,杏仁打得細滑,絕對沒有粗糙的口感,面頭的麵包粒亦有點綴作用。

海鮮拼盤,按位上,感覺更為矜貴。鮮味的生蠔、爽口的大蝦以及甜美的蟹腳,吃得津津有味。朋友文廸吃生蠔會敏感,那我就多謝一句,把她的那份也吞掉了,滿足。

為了試多幾味主菜,不如就四款要齊,大家分甘同味,反正在座的各位都唔會介意。或者講講青口意式雲吞,橙色的,色水吸引,配上我喜歡的火箭菜,旁邊也有份子魚子醬,賣相不俗。個人本身不太鍾情意大利雲吞,但這個外皮煙煙韌韌,裡頭粒粒蜆肉的出品,卻又唔差喎!

另外的牛肩脊伴玫瑰花瓣,由於牛肩脊以慢煮形式處理,入口鬆化,沾上特別的玫瑰花醬,有創意又好味。旁邊的玫瑰花瓣及其他菜蔬,砌得靚靚的,當中的露筍爽口好吃,我較喜歡。

羊架的賣相又是得體,看那嫩紅的肉質,大概不會令人失望。果然,咬落是鬆化,外層黏著開心果,口感更佳。味道方面,仍保持住應有的羊羶味,對辦。

最後的一道主菜,係士多啤梨意大利飯,就是粉紅的顏色,相信已可深得女士們的芳心。米飯質感很好,滲出清新又醒胃的草莓汁,感覺沒有太漏,實在太過出色,屬必食項目。

原本只安排了一款甜品,是紅莓撻。成品不像一隻原整的撻,而是像打碎了,連同嶄新的巴馬臣芝士雪葩來吃,兩者不論是味道和口感均很是相當合拍,就是跟餐的甜品都有如此高水準,太令人驚喜吧!

我們要再追加甜品了。Ice-cream bomb,綠茶、雲尼拿、士多啤梨弄成的雪糕炸彈,好睇又好食,在炎炎夏日品嚐此味,感到透心涼。

還有Chocolate Trio,就是三款朱古力組成的甜點,賣相精美,有口感細滑的朱古力慕思,帶有酒香的黑朱古力,同埋最特別的白朱古力雪葩,總之各有特色,朱古力迷請注意。

最後,也不乏表演項目,是跟AVA差不多的那種氮氣雪糕,味道很清爽,伴著美麗的玫瑰花瓣,雖然美感及不上AVA的浪漫,但也是會令人迷上的出品,最好在「特別日子」,跟另一半一起品嚐。

以petit fours和我的必須品 – 咖啡去作結,鬆軟的泡芙、濃郁的朱古力馬卡龍及有玫瑰花形狀的朱古力,均是咖啡良伴,唯只嫌馬卡龍稍為濕了一點。

侍應即席在我們面前,以茶壺倒出杏仁白松露湯!未嚐已見其幼滑質感!看起來好像是平平無奇的西湯,用料卻是不平凡!加入矜貴的白松露!
杏仁與白松露兩者味道各不相讓!最欣賞的是杏仁打得很細滑,不用放黑椒已經很好喝!

服務員先把放了麵包粒的碟送上,再用類似茶壺的器皿,像沖茶方式般幫我們"沖"湯! 過程十分有趣,我們幾位食友不停地拍攝"沖"湯的情境! 在沖了6碗後,照片還是沒一張拍得好,真失敗! 杏仁和白松露均打得滿幼滑。先呷一口,杏仁香氣慢慢滲出,其後是白松露的餘香,兩者配合得宜,是一創新的湯款,特別又好喝。

Mussels Ravioli (法式青口雲吞)
法式雲吞放上了火箭菜及蕃茄肉,黃紅綠的配合色彩繽紛,兩旁白色透明的是魚子醬。雲吞裡頭包著青口及醬汁,這個組合挺特別的,煙煙韌韌,口感豐富,但我還是較愛後面的菜式。

Veal Tenderloin & Rose Petals (慢煮牛脊肉伴玫瑰花醬)
牛脊肉切好以薄片的形式上桌,有黃色花瓣片作點綴。肉質細嫩卻不失口感,配上無花果、蘆筍、甘荀及杏仁薯蓉作配菜。再伴上味道自然及濃郁的玫瑰花醬,每口除了牛味外,還帶著十分清優的玫瑰花香,豈能不愛?!

Strawberry Risotto (草莓意大利飯)
對於愛吃草莓的小妹,一看到餐牌上有此道菜式以十分期待。以草莓來製甜品就見得多,用來作意大利飯真的第一次試。這草莓risotto端上桌時已十分吸引,整個飯都呈現著粉紅色,還有面層作點綴的草莓片及提味的香草,整個賣相就像迷人pink lady呢。

味道方面,光是聞起來已很草莓味,吃落去草莓味道很濃郁,甜甜的味道(初嚐,有點像吃甜品的感覺),後續帶點咸香,原來是白松露的味道。這意大利飯以草莓作為主角,所以整體感覺較為清新輕盈,味道新穎,又是另一款不錯的創新菜式。

整個賣相十分美觀,配上鮮艷奪目的紅綠黃配菜(蘆筍、薯仔等第,令人食指大動。羊架調較火喉得宜,外圍配上惹味開心果碎,肉質鬆化,最重要是沒什麼羶味,帶來的味道及質感不錯吃。

甜品上桌時,又是一陣"嘩嘩"聲, 哈哈~當然這一定是我! 整個賣相就像極藝術品般, 太美了,整個都裝飾得瑰麗,帶著浪漫及夢幻的感覺,那個女孩不喜歡!? 兩旁伴碟半圓的是玫瑰花mousse、原顆紅莓及脆脆等。玫瑰花mousse味道濃郁,質感軟滑。中間白色的意大利芝士雪葩,質感像雪糕般,每口有著陣陣的芝士咸香,內裡更加入了粒粒細小的脆脆,滋味無窮。

當中包括了朱古力忌廉泡芙、迷你朱古力macaron及軟心黑朱古力。當中軟心朱古力味道較優勝,軟心黑朱古力味濃郁,甜而不膩;朱古力忌廉泡芙內裡配上優滑忌廉,不錯吃;最後係迷你朱古力macaron,size小小的十分過癮,表面亦十分"閃亮",看上去較粗糙,和一般外層乾身及平滑的macaron不同,質感說實有點怪怪的,咬落極為煙韌感缺乏鬆脆感,朱古力味亦不重,不討好。

未吃主菜前,先來品嚐這籃自家製作的麵包,小圓包口感鬆軟,而 Grissini 質感鬆脆,新鮮程度遠勝入口貨。至於塗包的三色牛油,則分別以 sundried tomato、香草及蒜蓉製作,感覺蠻特別,再配上一小匙鵝肝醬,既好吃又有特色。

Veal Tenderloin & Rose Petals 慢煮牛脊肉,以近年本地餐廳非常流行的低溫慢煮方式烹調,牛脊肉呈粉嫩色澤,入口質感軟滑,吃起來原汁原味。而伴碟的玫瑰花瓣,帶優雅迷人的香氣;焦糖無花果有別於市面上糖漬無花果的甜膩感;杏仁薯蓉,入口綿密又有薯香,配搭新頴更出奇地夾,絕對不容錯過。

甜品 Deconstructed Raspberry Tart, 紅桑莓鮮豔奪目,討人喜愛,而混入了 parmesan cheese 的冰凍雪葩,質感細滑,芝味香濃,也很合個人口味。每份 set dinner 都會送上一客 Petit Four,當中有 chocolate puff,macaron,dark chocolate, 用來配番杯茶香味道不俗的 earl grey tea,真是最完美不過。正如先前所講,這個 June Set Menu 只在六月供應,如果有興趣的話,就要趕快行動了。

The location of this couldn't be better, at the heart of LKF with magnificent views of Hong Kong.
I finally felt that the night views in HK were beautiful for once which I never felt before in this heavily polluted city.
The breath taking views were really dazzling and ‘Manhattan-like’ too as claimed.

It is an energetic place with white winding grand stairs leading up to the glitzy dining room which transforms into a swanky club at night.

Everyone there was beautifully dressed and all their staff were handsome and pretty too.

For the tasting we tried the menu designed by Executive Chef Roger Perez.

For $468 per person there is soup, seafood, mains, desserts, petit fours with tea/coffee.

The presentation of each course was wonderfully colourful but because the restaurant was so dimly lit you could not really see how truly colourful it was.
The mini macarons which I thought were brown turned out to be dark mauve after I used flash.

The soup was poured in front of you which keeps the croutons crispy and the lovely cress floated to the top giving a heart illusion.
I really liked this soup because it was the first time I tried soup with almond as a main ingredient.
It was finally grounded giving a rich, creamy and nutty texture.
It made me think of the Chinese almond dessert soup, but the this was a million times better as a savoury soup.

The seafood was presented nicely on a square bowl served on a bed of ice to keep them chilled.

It was really pretty when it arrived and I almost thought it was strawberry rice pudding.
The only other main dish I have tried with strawberries is the ribs in Strawberry sauce (Chinese style) which I did not like.
Anyway, the Strawberry risotto here was dreamy and most importantly NATRUAL and unsweetened.
There was a minty taste which I believe came from the leaves in the rice.

As the name suggests the tart was represented by the crumbs and each element was separated. Deconstructed means taking the parts of a dish and separating the individual components into a new usage. The pieces should be recognizable by themselves but when eaten together should bring about the idea of the original dish.
Here it was exactly that, you could see the raspberry mousse, tart element and the berries.
The centre was Parmesan Cheese Ice-cream and it was amazing, it was actually savoury with fine pieces of cheese in it that you could taste.
The raspberry mousse were the two halves of a sphere and the texture was quite firm with a strong raspberry taste.

There was chocolates, mini macarons and chocolate puffs, all were perfect with tea.
The mini macarons were purple with the use of flash, but in the dimly lit room, they looked brown.
There was a strong lemongrass taste to it.

Azure Restaurant Slash Bar offers the best semi-buffet deal so far.We were a party of 10 people. We went there on May 12, Sunday, Mother’s Day. Azure has a special buy one get one free semi-buffet deal. A hostess placed us in a private room on the 29th floor for easy access given there were a few seniors. Azure Restaurant Slash Bar offers the best semi-buffet deal so far.

We were a party of 10 people. We went there on May 12, Sunday, Mother’s Day. Azure has a special buy one get one free semi-buffet deal. A hostess placed us in a private room on the 29th floor for easy access given there were a few seniors. Normally, the 29th floor serves as a bar but the manager has turned it into a restaurant setting during the day time.
We were promptly seated and the hostess did pass out enough menus for all of us to order. The semi-buffet came with a choice of appetizer, main course, coffee or tea plus of course the semi-buffet. The appetizer had two choices of sashimi or seafood platters which included fresh oysters, shrimps, and crab legs. The selection of the semi-buffet was somewhat limited. While it lacked in selection, it made up in quality. There were cauliflower soup, fresh smoked salmons, sun dries tomato, a variety of salad, a few selection of cheese and desserts etc.
The main courses were outstanding too: flank steak was cooked to perfection, spring chicken was tender, fish & chips were done in the right way, and even pork sirloin with apple sauce was tender although it came with white rice.

I am not easily pleased and have been a harsh critic of many highly rated restaurants such as Domani at the Pacific Place to the point that Open Rice has refused to publish it. So far, Azure has won my praise. Azure may not have attractive waiters and waitresses but they were attentive, polite, and diligent. The overall pleasant dining experience had made a good impression on us. Whether Azure is on the coveted Michelin Guide is inconsequential as long as you know what’s good. But if you believe in credit rating agencies, then you probably should buy into Michelin Guide.
