其實我唔鍾意食蛋,但見係Signature都叫黎試下。我覺得佢呢道菜最貴嘅地方應該係個sauce, 因為加左魚子醬,Omelette入面都包左唔少蟹肉,味道同個sauce都幾match, 但因為我真係唔鍾意蛋味所以就唔太識欣賞🙈但朋友都覺得幾好味。

另一道Signature Dish, 但呢道紅蝦Risotto其實令我有少少失望。佢地嘅紅蝦的確整得幾好食,食到炭燒嘅味道之餘蝦肉嫩滑,但Risotto 嘅鮮味不足,減分不少。而且要On top +$208,我自己就覺得性價比唔高。

整體黎講除左前菜外,唔算話好比到驚喜我。服務方面雖然只有一位waitress ,但佢都有向我地簡介每道菜同係食完每道菜都會問我地覺得點,呢方面唔錯👍但因為計埋additional charge 人均都要$650-$700,我就覺得性價比唔算好高。

I would highly recommend for weekend brunch (where crab omelette is on the menu 😏), it’s a good value deal given the food quality, although the additional $128 and $208 for their signature mains are a bit of a stretch.

The portion was just right, we ordered an extra side fries as we are big eaters😆

I think everything was up to standard, I personally love the mackerel and the sardines focaccia from the starters a lot, the sauce for the mackerel was amazing and aesthetic!
The oysters were incredibly fresh but I personally think the cucumber was a bit overpowering, maybe coz I’m not a fan of cucumber ..
For the mains, I love the scallop canelloni the most, the sauce was so flavourful.. I think all of the purée/sauce they made were amazing ..
last but not least, the Madeleines definitely were the nightlight of the meal, one of the best Madeleines I ever had.

Overall, I think everything was quite on point, the staffs were very attentive and friendly, the quality of food was great, and I love the vibe there, I think I would have to make trip here again for the brunch menu.

Bar Bleu is a new cozy little restaurant in the heart of Soho. Was attracted by the posts by various foodies so I made a booking immediately.

Their brunch menu is a lot of food. To start with, their signature oyster is big, juicy and fresh. The watermelon granita is interesting but you can’t really taste it as the cucumber vinaigrette is quite overpowering. Not quite sure of the whole flavor combination 🙃 But the freshness is undeniable.

The second starter to share is their tuna tartare with espelette mayo
on top. I quite like the different pickled radishe and the tomatoe crisp.

Finally, it’s the shrimp croquette which is very pretty with the pile of greens on top. The croquette is very creamy but I hope it’s a bit more hot.

We choose their crab omelette soufflé with herring caviar as main. It’s not only ig-able in the pouring, it tasted good as well. Airy, fluffy, you name it! The sauce is similar to a hollandaise sauce with a bit of vinegary taste.

The second main we chose is another add on item which is their carabinero risotto. Very flavorful to the point that it is a tad too flavorful and salty. A bit too heavy for me.

As a carbs type of person, we chose their frenchfries and truffle potato purée. They are good.

For their desserts, we chose one each. The signature chocolate tart with sea salt ice cream is ok. Not too sweet with a nice balance.

Their freshly baked Madeline with orange cream is sooo goood and is the most memorable item of the brunch! Fluffy but with a bit of a crunchy exterior. Served warm with a subtle orange cream. Soo good and a must try!

There was just one female server and she’s very nice and attentive. Can feel her passion to the food that they serve.

Overall, a nice little place to meet with a few girlfriends.

Price: HK$600 pp (brunch)

Revisit: 7/10
