I’ve been here a few times. The food is consistently good and the environment is also cozy for a late evening. The beer selection is wide, and the fries and mussels are among the best in HK by bar food standard. The staff here is also very friendly.

在一個Happy Friday,同事邀約下班後一起Happy Hour,認真Happy。😀這裡有不同的手工啤酒,我們啤過三巡之後,叫了些下酒之物繼續啤。生蠔不算十分大隻,倒有濃濃的海水味道,擠數滴檸檬汁更顯清新。白酒煮青口乃差不多每間比利時餐廳必有的菜式,這鍋青口的白酒汁裡有洋蔥、忌廉及香草等,香滑兼備,青口是爽而嫩的,一口一隻,很快便掃光了。薯條極粗,薯肉粉甜,原配的芥末蛋黃醬已很出色;但都不及蘸點青口的白酒汁那麼滋味!是一段美好的快樂時光~~

個 open kitchen 搞到成間餐廳好鬼香,一坐底就想嗌 Mussels and Frites, 但淨係個湯汁都有五六款揀,貪心又怕肥的我一聽到可以點半份就即刻落兩個唔同嘅 order,一個 traditional,Belgica style 白酒洋蔥,另外嚟一個 fusion 嘅,椰汁香茅,薯條 dipping sauce 又可以揀四款,心諗老闆真係明白港女想要乜!其實本人唔係特別鍾意食青口,尤其係 New Zealand 種,得個大字,又腥又韌,但 European style 就唔同,識食梗係食法國 Normandy 嘅,不過比利時嘅都好好,同樣係細隻,甘甜又 juicy!真係冇諗過香港地咁嘅價錢都食到!之後叫左 500g Prime Rib、生蠔同 Sausage Platter。後面兩樣不過不失,生蠔瘦左D,肉腸都ok,可再煎香D,個 Prime Rib 就必嗌啦,又係知我心態可點半份,500g 我地四個人都好夠食,牛味香濃,肉質肥美唔洗講,最開心嘅係我要 medium rare,佢真係冇令我失望,我試過五⭐️酒店都 hea 我,medium rare 比 pink 我,當然 blacklist 啦! Belgica 嘅啱啱好,外脆內軟,D seasoning 又唔會太多搶晒肉味!食食下老闆話出面抄牌,明明係咪錶位,但原來有細字話成街 reserve 比小型客貨車,最尾都趕唔切,我 bf 咁就比政府陰左,揸車嘅朋友真係小心。老闆好好人,見我地守法比人陰就醒左支啤酒比我地,label 叫 Omar,我覺得仲好飲過我地嗌嘅六款 beer tasting!

燒過的元貝份外惹味,加上更香濃的海膽,這碟意麵真叫人意亂情迷。

現在的厚和街好在不算太嘈吵,也依然貼地。如果想飲飲手工啤,食些Mussels,這店是不錯的選擇,順便可感受一點比利時的歐陸風味。

我的煮法與Provençale Mussels分別不大,切碎蕃茄及洋蔥作基底,再添羅勒,就欠蒜香

無容置疑在Belgica吃到的惹味得多,酸甜加上少許青口鹹香,青口肉亦保持濕潤帶彈

另有更常見的白酒忌廉版本,其實不重奶膩,帶微微酒苦清味,又是別樣風味

伴配自家製粗薯條,有如薯角的粗度,粗切不一,薯仔粉綿感盡現時外層仍為香口

Prime Rib $488(500g) $888(1kg)的出現沒有叫人意外,其粉嫩色澤亦甚合我意

在比利時及法國,牛扒與薯條同盤奉桌,不過香港多見法國餐廳有如此做法

言歸正傳,牛肋扒外帶焦意,肉質鬆化腍身,油脂豐潤,不見膻味

只是調味重手且不均勻,稍有阻礙牛肋肉的發揮,需要再作調節

經過歡樂一宵,比利時之旅缺角的部分抹上薄薄一層填充,叫做安樂些少

老實說旅行留餘的遺憾不會輕易就可以圓滿,除非重臨舊地,再度盡情享受一番

然而本年度的旅行大計沒有比利時一块,若然未來有著相應機會,也許可以正式填空

記得我哋第一次來呢度都有食依道菜, 白酒煮青口. 原來男友當時係唔係好好海鮮嘅. 但係佢見我咁鍾意食, 佢自己都食埋一份. 佢話唔知係咪同我一齊耐左, 連口味都變咗, 而家鍾意左食海鮮好多, 今次佢連汁都LAM埋, 嘻嘻! 旁邊個薯角都好出色, 炸得惹味鬆脆, 而且條條肥美, 再加上佢個帶點芥茉既忌廉醬汁, 點薯角真係一流啊! 不過呢我還是鐘愛番茄汁!

食到呢度其實都飽左八九成啦, 咁當然啦, 甜品係會有另外一個胃既, 呢個餐亦都包一客甜品, 我哋分別叫咗New York Cheese Cake同埋心太軟. 估唔到呢度連甜品都做得出色.

CHEESE CAKE 口感好Rich而且甜度適中, 真係食多件都仲得呀~!

拍照時,已聞到令人驚喜的陣陣松露香。意大利飯的味很濃,芝士味尤其突出。比一般risotto濕,就是比平常多的汁,帶出如此濃的芝士香。飯粒沒有正宗的中心一點硬,但又不覺得腍,算是剛好。

是夜忘了拍下餐牌,菜式的名字全都是大概記得幾個字,幸好選擇不多。很出色的食物。比起Frites較大的比利時菜,雖然選擇沒那麼多元化,但每一道都有相當的水準。而且簡簡單單,更易看到大廚的基本功。小店人較少,服務也更好。
