來過馬來一菜館都應該有三次,每次驚喜都是不斷。基本上如果你有一刻想念馬來西亞和檳城的菜式,來這裡,一定無錯,每次都吃得滿足才離開。


今晚來到和幾個三五知己食飯,來到才發現十二月的普天同慶月份,原來這裡也有聖誕餐提供。

仍記得幾年前在沙巴工作時,狂掃沙爹的時光,當地人每次都會十串廿串買,然後慢慢嘆,真是豪氣得多,沙爹上檯時,仍感受到一份熱力。

肉骨茶一向有兩種風格,馬來一顧名思義,當然是個人偏好的藥材味,入口甘香,肉味濃郁,只可惜沒有配上油條,唯有退一步,來碗白飯泡湯,簡單而美味。

相信是整個套餐內最值租的菜色,在兩種煮法中挑選了胡蟹,兩隻大蟹鉗滿是蟹肉,而且好入味,伴碟是烤薄餅,用來蘸點醬汁一齊食,又是美妙的菜色。

海南雞飯

Hainanese Chicken Rice

例牌份量未必夠4位用,可以的話,不妨多少少;雞油飯好香,粒顆分明,但份量又係太少,基本上只是每人半小碗,豪氣一點吧!

配搭三色醬,亦是正統做法,雞肉味道淡是香港常見的弊病,無奈!

Musang King Durian Tong Yuen

薑湯味道不算濃烈,但貓山皇榴槤湯丸就絕對不能講笑,一咬開,軟綿的榴槤肉,散發濃郁的香味,可惜只得一粒,未免太小器了。

意猶未盡下,追加了不少菜色。

灼怡保芽菜

短小肥胖的芽菜,入口清甜爽脆,簡單的白灼後,加點醬油,又是人間美味。

馬來西亞炒貴刁

加入了臘腸片,令油香更盛,但要小心,因為都幾辣,不過食落好惹味,最啱配返杯啤酒。

福建蝦湯麵

個人最愛的馬來西亞食品之一,呷一口湯,鮮甜而充滿了蝦味,麵條混和了米粉,層次分明,食落相當對辦,比起濫竽充數的所謂馬來餐館,好了不知多少倍,所以話馬來一雖然地點有些少隔涉,但想吃得正宗點,還是不怕走得遠。

整個四人套餐作價近$1,700,未計加一,算起來不便宜,但想到不少原材料都是飛機貨,而且味道正宗,大概可列入頭兩位之內,難怪是晚就算是平日,依然坐無虛席,是不無原因的。

今次採用藥材,女仕會較為喜歡,湯頭清澈,藥味不算十分濃,較易入口。

每碗湯都附上湯渣,一字骨和豆腐卜,不要錯過吸湯豆腐卜,好好吃。  

去過星洲也會吃過胡椒蟹,而大廚則用了自家配方,烹煮出客人相當喜歡的[辣椒蟹]

以新鮮[斯里蘭卡肉蟹]入饌,其肉質也相對實淨,肉多、膏小,鮮味十足。

重點是用上濃郁厚重的黑醬油烹調、更加入小量辣椒和大量洋蔥粒等, 

吃前先戴上手套,以防弄污雙手。我唔客氣取起一隻大蟹鉗,輕易地可以取出雪白蟹肉,

再一邊蘸上呈現深黑色的濃醬汁,但味道不如預期般辣和咸,而是咸中帶微甜,就算小朋友也可以吃到其相當獨特的味道。

以芭蕉葉包裹著魔鬼魚燒香,充滿東南亞風味。

打開芭蕉葉陣陣香味散發出來,令人食慾大增。 

只有軟骨的魔鬼魚, 魚肉雪白,肉質軟滑,可以一梳一梳爽夾出來。

魚油不算十分豐富, 魚味不濃,所以大廚以厚身的燒汁調味,烤得又香又辣, 香味更突出。 

吃過兩款主菜後還有我最愛的星洲風味[海南雞飯]

鮮黃色雞皮脂肪十足,雞皮和肉之間夾著一層完美啫哩層,急不及待咬落去,肉質十分彃牙,香滑細嫩, 油脂芳香,相當完美的演繹。配上油潤感十足香油飯,蒜和香茅葉也夠出,水準相當高 。

[香蘭椰絲卷]較岩口味,外皮煎得薄、軟,陣陣香蘭芳香,椰絲味出,最喜歡是入口微暖有如體溫,感覺更完美。

馬來西亞屬熱帶地區,盛產水果,在街頭會遇到不少榴槤。我吃的布甸用大量貓山王肉做,creamy,真的像在吃真榴槤肉 :-)

以上套餐在11月份時人均 $428 (除了胡椒蟹),現在則可散點,記得部份菜式要早一天預訂啊。

I’m not a Malaysia but I think it’s quite authentic - there are some food name in the menu I don’t understand - Malaysia food name?!

Malaysia food is sweet and spicy? That’s most of the dishes taste like.

Overall, it’s a good dining experience. If you have Malaysia friends living in HK, you can bring them here.

After hearing from many sources that Café Malacca was arguably the most authentic Malaysian restaurant in town, mom and I went to try their afternoon tea set on a Sunday which included four savories and three desserts with a choice of tea or coffee.It was easy to get to Hotel Jen as it is right on the left of Hong Kong University Station exit B2. We enjoyed the food very much. We like Chwee Kueh (水粿) for savory and Durian Pudding for sweet the most. The Kaya toast was not the version we were used to as we preferred the sauce not to be sandwiched with a big slice of butter that took away the Kaya's aroma.

我點了一個椰漿飯拼盤,這是在馬來西亞、新加坡等地常見的美食。椰漿飯馬來文是 nasi lemak,傳統上是用來當早餐吃的,在馬來西亞路邊檔口時常有得販賣。

傳統椰漿飯上面會有切片青瓜,脆花生,炸鳳尾魚,熟雞蛋🥚可以是水煮蛋或煎荷包蛋,一般都會做到全熟的,不是我們抬捧的糖心蛋和參峇醬。這個椰漿飯拼盤是有兩隻炸雞下腿,很入味,肉質也很嫩滑。主角椰漿飯很好吃,濃濃的椰汁味道加上香料以増加香味。

薑母奶茶富濃郁生薑味,返而個茶味就唔係太突出,但也可以,如果個茶再濃一點就更好了。
