等菜期間,餐廳附送我們一份[MATURE CHEDDAR AND CHILLI NAAN]芝士辣椒饢,也太好吃了。芝士味道濃郁,辣椒的辣感隱藏的非常巧妙,四個人還沒有上主菜,每人先把一個饢乾乾淨淨地吃完了。 

三個饢裡面我最愛芝士辣椒饢了!

一如以往的好吃~ 雞肉有點乾但不柴,魚絕對是驚喜之作,魚肉內軟多汁而外面稍稍焦掉的部份卻是脆身的!

✿ 羊肉咖喱 Lamb Curry & 酥皮薄餅Lacha Naan
原本覺得口味太重,誰加上特調乳酪,咖喱的味道變得輕盈卻更濃郁和更滑!配上酥皮Naan,滋味和口感豐富得不得了🤤

甜品 Berry Shrikhand Eton Mess
用雜莓巧妙地中和了牛油忌廉和忌廉的膩感,配上脆脆,為今餐作個完美的總結~很期待即將會推出的朱古力naan!

當天的體驗是我在香港其他餐廳或是印度都沒有過的,加上員工的服務態度超好,渡過了十分難忘又愉快的一晚~

別以為fine dining就一定貴, 這裡的價錢定位都較相宜, 人均大概$500-$600左右

餐廳主打印度街頭風味, 台前幕後都是印度籍為主, 主廚更於倫敦主理的印度餐廳獲得米芝蓮一星!

食物方面以下是這裡的招牌菜,
1⃣️ Lamb Samosa
香脆脆筒配上薯仔, 羊肉蓉, 鋪滿青蔥再蘸上旁邊的乳酪, 味道有點似中式春卷/咖哩角, 口感惹味!

2⃣️ Chicken Dum Biryani
香料雞肉飯, 就是以多種香料炮製而成的印度炒飯,用上陳年印度米, 因此質感較爽身, 雞肉亦滑嫩, 但個人就不是特別喜歡香料味太重的菜式🤣

3⃣️Butter Chicken 🌟🌟
必叫的奶油咖哩雞!! 最喜歡的一道菜! 因為吃不了辣的關係, 叫不了咖喱豬/羊, 但這裡的奶油雞是真的好吃! 雞肉與番茄醬, 鮮奶油跟香料一齊煮 再加入蜜糖和辣椒粉, 味道惹味得來帶點甜, 感覺creamy, 配上Naan 一起吃, 超滋味!!

整體食物質素, 價錢跟服務是完全是無可挑剔, 如果可以不用等2-3個月的話都會再來的🤣

I am not a fan of India food as I dislike too much spices. But I have tried once their 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 during my last staycation at Rosewood (in-room dining) that I really hope to try again!!!


We get lost in Bayfare Social for a mintue and finally reached CHAAT😜 Impeccable atmosphere and friendly staff❤️! We both love spicy🌶 and the waiter has recommended a lot to us. We have ordered 5 dishes and way too much for that night..


𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢 𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧🍛🌶 was no doubt that it was as good as before! The chicken was supper tender and the curry was so creamy with little spice.


𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐕𝐢𝐦𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐨🥘🌶🌶🌶 was really really really impressive😍😍!!!! Especially for the curry🤤🤤(sorry for not the pork cheek🤣)! I love so much the texture and the spice of that curry! At the beginning it was quite sweet in flavor, after you swallow it, the 🌶🌶 came out!!! Perfect match with the Naan!!! Anyway, 𝐍𝐚𝐚𝐧 was so good that you can eat alone and you never feel “dry” or “bored”.


𝐁𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐚 was really surprising!!! The yogurt sause besides did the best pairing with the samosa. But the gamey taste of lamb was quite strong, I was not really into it. But my partner love that so much🤤!


𝐋𝐚𝐦𝐛 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬 🍖 was good as well but not really surprising. It has grilled nicely and taste good!!


Overall, I love their Curry🥘 dishes most and they were definitely perfect!! They have an outdoor area with a fabulous Harbour view! You must go and take a look😍! CHAAT has certainly changed my view to India food🤤, I will come back for their curry🤪!!!!!

圓形嘅炸脆餅包住crispy lentils,配上三種傳統嘅印度醬汁、石榴粒、同埋羅望子。
鹹甜酸辣脆集於一身,味道複雜得來非常之夾。
而且炸脆餅同crispy lentils嘅厚薄唔同,令到成件事口感非常豐富!難怪係鎮店之寶。

另一款幾乎每台都嗌嘅印度炒飯🍚。
賣相非常特別,用酥皮包住印度炒飯,侍應會先原個呈上,然後會再係你面前界開。
用上幼長粒粒分明嘅aged Basmati rice,配上chicken masala。
不過味道就唔算太特別,雞肉亦唔特別香,表面嘅酥皮亦偏硬🤓。
不過好在店員強烈推薦我哋一定要嗌埋Beetroot Raita $58同埋個飯一齊食,當時令到個味道豐富咗好多,酸酸甜甜嘅醬汁同本身嘅香料味好配,成個飯亦更濕潤咗好多。

Pretty unique to have so many seafood options for Indian cuisine in HK. The lobster tikka was well executed and portion was decent. The lamb shank and kulcha were also not bad. Masala chai was very good but the mango lassi is very thick so I would probably order it as a dessert.

What's more famous about Chaat however is its ridiculously long waiting list of up to 3 months. I managed to make a booking for 2 and emailed a few weeks ago asking if I could add 2 adults and 1 child on high chair to my table. They replied that it was not possible since they were fully booked but they would let me know if they have any cancellations.

We went on a Saturday night and throughout our dinner from 6-8pm there were at least 3 empty tables next to us (and probably more around the corner). There were also at least 2 tables that could have seated 4 people but only 2 people were there (so at least they could have given us that table). They do take your credit card details down to hold the reservation so I highly doubt so many people decided to no-show last minute.

Not sure if this is a policy to generate hype. I've emailed them about it afterwards and they replied asking for my contact details and a time to call. I replied but no one called until 4 days after the time I suggested, blaming that the "email got lost".
They explained that the empty tables were a combo of people who were late and no-shows, though they could not explain why we weren't offered the table that seats 4 which only had two guests there. The guy also said he only started working there for a few days?! Gotta appreciate the honesty. Not sure how this is the best guy for the job of dealing with complaining guests but you do you rosewood.

CHAAT is definitely one of the hottest new elevated Indian restaurants in Hong Kong. The baked lamb samosa and bone marrow kulcha were very delicious. Although they were overpriced given that they were technically just "street food", I would highly recommend to order them. For the mains, they were a bit disappointing. The presentation of the chicken dum biryani was very nice - however, it just tasted average with no wow factors. The butter chicken was also just like any butter chicken you could find in Hong Kong. The food was definitely not bad. However, the whole dining experience was just average - I simply did not think the food has been elevated to a point justifying the price point.⁣

As per description, it brings out a variety of flavours - sweet, sour and a bit of spiciness, personally I loved it but my friend found it a bit too heavy. It is also best served with the black pepper chicken or plain naan😋

As per title isnt it obvious what food it’s going to be?! The chicken is SUPER DUPER juicy and tender, and beetroot chutney gives a sweet kick to traditional way of cooking chicken. 10/10

Chaat is apparently quite popular. However, the reservation system needs improvements at Chaat.The restaurant opens only in the evening Wednesday to Sunday, so if you call at non-opening hours, your line will be transferred to the general reservation line. The general reservation line is busy most of the times. On average I have to call 7-10 times for someone to pick up. 🤨 Maybe Rosewood cute staff given of current COVID situation in HK? Chaat’s receptionist also doesn’t seem to reply to all emails. I sent emails to the restaurant before and it needs a chaser for them to respond. 🤨

Food is no doubt good and yummy 🙂
