We ordered three dishes to share. Seasonal offer always catches our attention. And that’s why this Seafood Tom Yum Soup Noodles was the first dish we ordered.

The Tom Yum soup base was a legit sour and spicy one, so delicious! And the toppings definitely gave us a nice surprise! The egg was a soft boiled egg with runny egg yolk! There were generous amount of shrimp, crab, squid, and fish balls. The piece of crunch was superb too! The noodles were quite grassy yet sticky though.

We were craving for some meat, and thought a chicken skewer would be nice. And this Gai Yung — chicken thigh marinated for 24 hours in garlic, pepper, coriander and served with jhim jeaw — seemed to be the right choice. However, we were genuinely taken aback when the dish was served. The two chicken thigh pieces were enormous!!! And what fascinated us most was that, these pieces of thick and huge chicken thigh were perfectly grilled with a crispy skin! How amazing is that! The jhim jeaw on the side made a great dressing for the skewer. A surprising, filling and delicious dish.

We almost passed this tasty Kai Jiaw, as we were quite full after the bowl of Tom Yum Soup Noodles and (gigantic) chicken skewer. Luckily we did not, as this dish was a gem. Kai Jiaw — Thai omelet of crab, spring onions and sriracha sauce — was a pancake like omelet stuffed with lots of crab meat. It made a really delicious and filling dish without making you feeling stuffed. Highly recommend this dish to you!

We were too full for dessert this time. Definitely visiting again for more great dishes and desserts!

This place has been on my list for years and I happened to be around the area so gotta give it a try.  Turned out it did not disappoint at all.  Ordered the Gai Yung, Khao Pad and the Kanom Dtom.  The Gai Yung are 2 big pieces of tender & juicy chicken marinated for 24 hours in garlic, pepper and coriander; the spicy sauce that came with it was heavenly that you can't miss it.  The Khao Pad (wok fried rice of crab meat, egg & spring onions) was packed with a generous portion of crab meat and flavorful but the sauce on the side was overly salty for my taste which I just left it pretty much untouched.  The Kanom Dtom is a traditional Thai dessert and I never thought the salted coconut cream would mix so well with the sweetness; the shredded coconut filling was a bit too sweet for me but maybe because I had 4 of them; probably best to share this awesome dessert with more people.  Lastly the complementary mango that was served with a lemon grass and spicy salt.  A interesting and refreshing combo which went well along with the mango.

you can eye that pukkaaa thai ambience before walking into this authentic thai resto that has stayed with us for 8 years: the two-storeyed, pea-green coloured storefront and that thai-ish calligraphy hung above the gates.

Pla Phao Glua is literally a. whole. seabass. crispy skin covered with salts makes it toooo salty. too overpowering. but the fish itself is quite tender. i'm quite sensitive to fresh/unfresh fishes and this one is certainly not a fish that is fresh enough to satisfy my fam's fish craves.

many foodies have tried the chicken thighs and i must say it's definitely worth a try! how odd that one is more tender than the other (really big contrast...), anyways the jhim jeaw (sauce) lifts it up to the next level - succulent and biteful. can imagine myself tearing off the meat like a chimpanzee in a thai forest.

the highlight of the meal - phad thai, the ultimate relish! the texture is quite complex, and taste is even more. sweet, garlicky, spicy, sour... even the tofu cubes aren't bland. sadly, the stir-fry rice noodles aren't significant because the ingredients are just too rich.

recording my first try of kanom dtoms! to be frank, i'm not sure whether it's good or bad but surely, the exterior is absolutely glutinous and inside are some pleasantly sweet coconut shreds. will try samsen's ones before giving it a rank xd.

Went out for drinks after a hike. This is my fourth visit. Always love the vibe and ambiance in CHA CHA WAN. For drinks, Sukhumvit Spritz is my recommendation during summer time. Loving the combination of Aperol, watermelon juice, prosecco and pandanas foam. They also offer mock-tails and the Lychee and Passionfruit Slushie is the perfect drink in a hot day. Try them out !

好久以前已bookmark咗這間餐廳好想去,一直未有機會去。突然見到網上外賣平台可以叫午餐外賣,立刻和同事一起叫。外賣套餐$148,可選擇兩個餸加飲品。我選擇了泰國出名的木瓜沙律及這間店的招牌燒雞和凍檸茶。招牌燒雞好嘢味,好有心煮的,而家通常出邊的餐廳都是炸的,不是燒的。這片雞是有燒烤的味道。青木瓜沙律較甜,不是辣的。可能是要合乎大眾的口味。凍檸茶是港式凍檸茶,下次我會叫泰式的飲料,泰式凍奶茶或咖啡都應該不錯。

香蘭葉或者芭蕉葉弄成碗狀,再倒入玉米粉、椰汁、糯米粉、糖混合成內餡,蒸完後呈布丁狀,甜中帶一點點鹹,同時有淡淡的茉莉花香。最特別的是,布丁底部有芋頭丁做基底,吃起來口感跟味道更有層次,唇齒間有芋頭的陣陣濃郁。而椰奶布丁上鋪著甜蛋絲,如頭髮般纖細,甜甜的帶有蛋香。這道經典泰國甜品必試喔!

Having bookmarked this restaurant for almost a year, finally find the time to visit this place with my family. We have ordered a table full of dishes! We tried this deep fried prawn with green mango salad. Not very special as we could not taste the fresh prawn after being deep fried. It’s more like wasting the ingredients.
Not recommended. Probably this is the only dish we have leftover.

Please look at that coconut ice cream served with corn and fresh coconut. This is heavenly. We literally fight for this dessert and are so tempted to order one extra!

The banana crepe was okay but some family members said it was too sticky for their liking.

The mango sticky rice was nice too but the coconut ice cream is a WINNER!

The complimentary green mango was quite interesting too. It cleans our palates after this heavy meal! Very fruitful and tasty meal overall.

It costed us around $2000 for 6. Will we come back? Probably me and my boyfriend will

Khao Pad (fried rice with crab meat)
This is a pretty amazing fried rice. Especially after dripping lime juice and the special thai sauce all over it. It has  a strong favor. I guess the fish sauce plays the magic.

This is a common dish I have tried a lot but not much restaurant will include fresh herb in the receipt. Only with fresh herbs make the right Tom Yum. But they do it here, both dried and fresh ingredients. We preferred little spiciness. but I think we can go further nexttime - may try medium spiciness.
