紅雨下的星期六下午第一次到訪,兩女一男訂了枱,到達後我們嘗試了一個下午茶套餐,食物即叫即做,甜點精緻,茶或咖啡好,質素也很不錯,大家很滿意。裝修、食物用具很講究,又有英國風,洗手間清潔及打理很好,最重要服務人員很親切,年青人們勤快及有禮,連對自己同工都說:「唔該,辛苦妳!」餐廳氣氛和諧,若果能播出輕音樂就更完美。整體食物質素、環境及服務,叫人吃得舒服,很值得再到訪,下次很想嘗試牛扒、及其他特色飲品!

之前食過幾次lunch,都唔錯。隔咗個零兩個月再嚟,轉咗餐牌,冇咗特價set lunch,以前星期五燒春雞set 88,而家就盛惠180,貴咗一個dub,不過水準更加高,都食得開心嘅。同埋之前啲特價餐真係好平,今時今日都幾難維皮。最值得讚嘅係佢哋嘅服務,啲職員真係好有禮貌同埋貼心,成日都有笑容,呢間係少數我覺得抵俾加一嘅餐廳,如果真係要雞蛋裏挑骨頭,就係老闆個樣有啲愁😅講返啲食物,特價燒春雞都好好食,絕對唔馬虎,但隻雞細啲,就咁配薯條。正價燒春雞有烤黄色翠肉瓜同埋薯角,沙律分量都大啲。啲雞就咁點面頭嘅烤檸檬同埋烤蒜已經够味,好嫩滑。

經過獅子石道見過一間好有格調既餐廳,今日終於有機會黎試。朋友驚lunch time時段會好多人,所以一早就經openrice訂左位。可能我地訂既時間比較早,入座時未見有太多食客,我同朋友可以好自在咁傾計。餐廳提供不同既set俾食客選擇。價錢相對上較貴。剛巧餐廳今日轉左新午餐餐牌,樣樣睇落都好似好吸引。今次我同朋友都點左 - 黑松露蘑菇忌廉牛肝菌意大利戒指雲吞,餐湯同咖啡。意大利雲吞入面包住牛肝菌再配上蘑菇,露筍以及忌廉汁,好好味!至於餐湯同咖啡就唔太特別!絕對係一間有水準既餐廳,下次可以再試佢既high tea set!

Tried out the 3-course dinner, including a braised ox tongue orecchiette, fisherman’s soup, and a smoked chicken red salad. The portions were very generous, and most importantly the food was noteworthy in terms of quality. 加價了!自從開通地鐵,九龍城食肆收費不斷上調,Choplin也不例外。不過,雖然貴了,但以它的食物水平、服務和環境,性價比依然算高的。Chaplin 有兩款不同價格的 lunch menu,價格較親民的午市套餐 Daily Dine-in Lunch Special menu $88 加一。我星期二到訪,是白酒忌廉蜆肉扁意粉 White Wine Cream Clams Vongole Linguine,跟椰菜花湯,另外加了一份炸魚手指及薯條小食。侍應把熱湯端來,雖然夠滑夠香,但味道扁淡。炸魚手指很香脆,和薯條同樣是熱燙燙的,就算不加醬料已經很美味。扁意粉用了10多隻蜆,材料十足,白酒忌廉汁煮得很好,但稍微稀,以致意粉味道太清淡。另外要讚的,是雖然是午市時段,人客頗多,侍應會不時主動加水,服務也很有耐性。可能個人喜歡重一點的味道,食物未有大驚喜,但整體用餐體驗還是不錯的。
