朋友在皇后大道東返工,約我放工食早飯,我才知道原來合和中心的七樓有這麼多商舖及食店。我們早放工於約6:30來到客人比較少,但越晏越多人,結果於約7:45時已近九成滿,証明香港的上班一族的工時真的很長!我點了义燒撈麵,要讚的是义燒很好味,肥瘦得宜,真正是半肥瘦靚义燒,餐牌上說這個撈麵是用了秘製汁,食落又真的幾好味。朋友點了北菇滑雞粥,她勁讚粥很綿、雞很滑而且size比想像中大。本來想點炸両,但原來晚市並無腸粉類供應。因此我們點了油菜和柱候炆牛腩。油菜上竟然是淋了XO醬,而不是一般的蠔油,感覺很特別,而且味道也很夾,朋友更笑說以後在家招呼客人時也可以跟著做。柱候炆牛腩的味道較濃炆得很入味,牛筋和牛腩都很腍,份量也大,結果朋友要打包,回家煲一煲飯又是一餐! 最後,我們各點了一個糖水:芝麻湯丸和福果雞蛋腐竹糖水完結了我們這一餐。

薈麵館是一間古典,優雅的麵館。予人relax的感覺。估不到吃粉麵的餐廳都可以裝修得如此雅致。講完裝修,當然要試一試餐廳的味道。我們二人見有自選套餐$238,分別有炒粉麵飯一款,點心三款,小食一款,油菜一款,飲品/甜品兩款。足夠2-3位用,好抵食。我們就點了這個餐。乾炒牛河,都幾有鑊氣,炒得乾身,蘸上辣醬,更見美味。牛肉亦嫩滑。脆皮蝦春卷炸得很香脆,好自然一口接一口吃下去。蟹籽燒賣皇四粒燒賣都很紥實。蛋煎蝦米腸粉配上混醬吃,好味道。菜心很腍甜福果腐足糖水食完鹹點,最後食碗腐足糖水作結,很滿足。

以前公司在合和,不過走左之後, 好少行合和,今日專登返黎同個舊同事聚舊。舊同事帶左我去7樓,試間新開粥麵店。間野裝修很整潔,地方好闊落,兩個人坐卡座,好舒服。舊同事食開,所以由佢發板,佢叫左 一飯一麵,兩個小食,一個點心。先到子薑皮蛋,雖然皮蛋有啲乾,不過用一塊子薑夾件皮蛋點糖,味道當堂唔同曬 ,好食好多。再來係白灼薑蔥鯇魚皮,舊同事極推介,晶瑩半透嘅魚皮,撈了些紅椒同醬油,爽滑魚皮有嚼勁,果然係好介紹。舊同事幫我叫左碟海南文昌雞,賣相真係唔錯,文昌雞皮比較白色,不太肥,紅椒黑木耳伴碟,隻雞肉不算厚, 但雞味幾濃,不點醬汁都夠味。不過油飯我覺得唔夠熱,同埋比較硬。最驚喜係食晚飯,竟然仲有點心食,呢度嘅蝦餃,咬開可以見到三隻蝦,澄粉做嘅外皮晶瑩,蝦仁彈牙,超正。舊同事自己食叉燒薑葱撈麵 ,我試左啖麵 ,真係可能隔離飯香,我覺得佢啲麵加左少少蔥花,食落好香,厚切叉燒食落口感好好。聚舊又有好野食,超滿足的一晚。

粥品套餐選了滑牛仔肉粥原條煎炸油條(小點) ($56),滑牛粥上桌時配有一小碟薄脆。先趁熱舀起一匙入口,粥底綿滑香軟,而且稀杰適中。牛肉新鮮嫩滑,灼至啱啱好,放進粥內再焗一會,吃時可蘸點醬油來提鮮。油條應該唔係新鮮炸起,而且已經攤凍咗,但估唔到咬下仍然保持脆口的感覺,用來沾粥吃最夾。

星洲炒米 ($88)  非常大碟,炒得色澤金黃,不過用料就唔算好豐富,幸好蝦的分量下得夠慷慨,足足有成六、七隻。挾起一箸米粉細看,炒得均勻又夠鑊氣,既乾爽又有咬口,而且咖喱味濃郁,入口仲帶點椰香,如果可以再辣一點,應該會吃得更加過癮。

特式飯有糖水送,選了滋潤紅豆沙,紅豆沙賣相平平無奇,舀起一看,原來入面有咁多紅豆粒,而且全部都煲至腍身粉綿,入口帶啖啖紅豆的甜香,如果可以加埋蓮子百合就更加 Perfect!
