Assorted Sashimi (5 Types) $128Typical start with sashimi, Tuna and Salmon Roe were my favorite as I didn’t expect I could try such quality of Tuna sashimi in non-specialized restaurants, maybe a little exaggerated but try to recall the tuna sashimi in those common all-you-can-eat, this is much better.

While we were choosing from the menu, the staff told us we should try their Tempura which is what they are famous for in Japan, including their batter, oil and sauce used for making tempura. 
Most of the ingredients are transported from Japan, to ensure the quality and the taste of the fried dishes. All of them were crispy and not oily. I like pumpkin one the most. Girls definitely would not have any issue to have more than 3, or 4 haha.

Highlight of tonight, Snow crab & sea food hot pot in plum soup. Seldom have the chance to try plum soup for hot pot and that made us to order one to see how it goes. 
Four long long crab legs, you could fare it without any sauce or conditioning, fresh and sweet! The hot pot also includes mussels, squid, scallop and veggies. To be frank, the taste of plum was a bit bland that actually was similar to soy sauce. I expect sourer for the soup.

Another surprise for me, kamameshi with pork & bitter cucumber, haven’t seen bitter cucumber appears in Japanese restaurants. Prolly quite a number of people don’t like eating it? I didn’t like it when I was young, but not now (yea i’m getting old). Sometimes I can finish a whole plate of fried bitter cucumber alone lol (of course my mum’s good at cooking). This is just like our clay pot rice because it has scorched rice at the edge of the stone bowl. Good one.

New York Cheese Cake $25I will come for this, for sure. It was New York cheese cake but with ice cream texture, the hard one. Cheese ice cream, that’s what I would call it. Again it was transported from Japan Hokkaido. The price is not expensive at all for such quality and taste. Really surprised

叫左個「梅子火鍋」,個鍋一嚟到,見到咁多隻長腳蟹腳,又係令我哋大分驚喜!個鍋有帆立貝、蜆肉、長腳蟹,湯底係松葉蟹海鮮湯底,充滿住海鮮既鮮味,令到其他配菜好鮮味。職員仲好貼心提供埋較剪俾我哋,我哋小心翼翼咁剪開啲蟹腳,好大舊蟹肉啊,仲好鮮美,好正,同fd忍唔住好快就食哂個鍋喇,好推介,咁既質素,價錢仲要唔算貴呀!

最後叫左個甜品食,「布甸芝士蛋糕」,出乎意料地好食!有焦糖係表面,好甜,加埋好smooth and soft既cheese,職員強調要雪到好凍即刻食,令個cake口感極濃郁,好似食緊特濃既cheese cake咁,好正呀,雖然細細個,但份量係岩岩好,再食多啲就會太膩喇。

早2日約左朋友去黃埔行街,經過呢間丼丼亭就順便試一試我同朋友就決定試下餐牌今期推介的「松葉蟹梅子海鮮窩」同「苦瓜豚肉釜飯」第一次試食梅子湯底,估唔到淡淡的梅子香味配上蟹肉同青口等海鮮係咁醒胃,店員亦有介紹返佢地火鍋用的醬汁係跟足日本人的用法不用豉油,竟是青醋同蘿蔔蓉,果然配上蟹肉不搶蟹的鮮味之後到了「苦瓜豚肉釜飯」,苦瓜沒有我想像中的苦,配上飯焦伴食,很棒黎日本食店當然要試刺身同天婦羅啦,點了一份「天婦羅拼盤」同「五色刺身」店員同我地講返食海鮮類的天婦羅最好同海鹽一齊點,咁會比平時淨點天婦羅汁更突出海鮮味,果然另有一番味道呢唔錯,刺身用料新鮮,啖啖肉好味道甜品時間(唔好以為細細舊唔夠飽: ] )最後餐廳環境也不錯,適合同朋友家人聚餐

一黎先食了個刺生
 又肥又新鮮 本人特別推薦吞拿魚 一睇就知道色澤好味道甜

牛肉的條紋分布不錯,而且火鍋湯底很有特色,梅子帶點酸味令胃口大增,加上裏面有不少蔬菜類,令整體更添豐富,如果想變成套餐的話其實也只不過是$100多少少,那麼就是一個高級的火鍋享受,而且亦很夠食。

身體不太好,原本想選擇的凍飲唯有下次再嘗,下面有一些蘋果肉,選擇了少甜味道甜酸甜酸非常開胃。

由於身體不太好,只好白白看着身邊的同學吃蛋糕,飲沙冰,唯有康復後再一戰吧😭

店員亦送上海藻鹽同天婦羅汁。海藻鹽可以提升海鮮既鮮味,而店舖系吾同季節會提供吾同既鹽,鹽既種類包括:岩鹽(夏季☀️)、柚子(春季🌺)、抹茶🍵同竹炭(冬季☃️)。

天婦羅汁就用左鰹魚汁,味道有d似烏冬汁,浸1浸先食冇咁熱氣啊🔥!啊!呢樣真系不得不提:雖然d天婦羅炸得好脆💥,但系絕對吾油膩,食既時候吾會好多油必出黎💦,咁就健康好多啦~

話說,上年年尾睇雜誌時見到話有間日本天丼過江龍開嚟香港,但一直都無去試因為佢位置於紅磡黃埔,唔算就腳,所以都無專登去試!今次咁啱就去黃埔有事做,所以造就咗呢次好滿意嘅天丼之旅~ 其實剛剛先去東京食咗間好好味嘅天婦羅,所以對天婦羅印象非常唔錯。呢間丼丼亭做得最好係粉漿,以呢個價錢嚟講,佢粉算幾薄,炸得剛剛好,唔會油淋淋,即使唔係話100分好味,但佢算做得幾好喇!一坐低好肚餓,但朋友未到,所以叫咗沙律食咗先。呢個雜錦魚生沙律(無記錯係$68),佢用上柚子dressing,酸酸甜甜幾開胃,沙律菜新鮮,魚生都OK~之後我就揀咗 天盛親子丼定食 $88,人總是貪心,打開個menu又想食天婦羅又想食丼飯⋯⋯佢又好好有好幾款定食,有天婦羅之餘又有丼飯,價錢仲好相宜。我就Order咗呢個定食,天婦羅有蝦啦、白身魚啦、南瓜同番薯。南瓜同番薯非常甜,但佢切得比較厚少少,咬落去個皮就硬啲喇~另外,個親子丼都唔錯,最怕食到啲唔夠汁唔夠味嘅親子丼,啲雞同蛋又乾淨淨咁,但呢度就無呢個問題!本身唔係太食鰻魚嘅我,上次喺日本食過原條海鰻天婦羅一試難忘,所以今次都單點嚟試下!呢度嘅海鰻天婦羅都係原條,粉醬薄,但可惜略嫌

因為佢位置於紅磡黃埔,唔算就腳,所以都無專登去試!今次咁啱就去黃埔有事做,所以造就咗呢次好滿意嘅天丼之旅~ 其實剛剛先去東京食咗間好好味嘅天婦羅,所以對天婦羅印象非常唔錯。呢間丼丼亭做得最好係粉漿,以呢個價錢嚟講,佢粉算幾薄,炸得剛剛好,唔會油淋淋,即使唔係話100分好味,但佢算做得幾好喇!
一坐低好肚餓,但朋友未到,所以叫咗沙律食咗先。呢個雜錦魚生沙律(無記錯係$68),佢用上柚子dressing,酸酸甜甜幾開胃,沙律菜新鮮,魚生都OK~

之後我就揀咗 天盛親子丼定食 $88,人總是貪心,打開個menu又想食天婦羅又想食丼飯⋯⋯佢又好好有好幾款定食,有天婦羅之餘又有丼飯,價錢仲好相宜。我就Order咗呢個定食,天婦羅有蝦啦、白身魚啦、南瓜同番薯。南瓜同番薯非常甜,但佢切得比較厚少少,咬落去個皮就硬啲喇~另外,個親子丼都唔錯,最怕食到啲唔夠汁唔夠味嘅親子丼,啲雞同蛋又乾淨淨咁,但呢度就無呢個問題!

本身唔係太食鰻魚嘅我,上次喺日本食過原條海鰻天婦羅一試難忘,所以今次都單點嚟試下!呢度嘅海鰻天婦羅都係原條,粉醬薄,但可惜略嫌唔夠味,如果有少少海鹽提供就perfect喇!

Recently, the opening of Shita Machi Tendon Akimitsu 下町天丼秋光 in Hong Kong has excited many fans of Tempura Tendon Rice, with the queue there requiring weeks ahead to book. More traditional Tempura Shops like Inagiku or Agehan seems to have been conveniently forgotten. Over here at Don Don Tei, which is operated in HK by Cafe de Coral Group, the Tempura quality is actually decent too and much cheaper. Tsukimi Tendon with an Onsen Egg, 1 Prawn, 1 Fish, 3 Vegetables - $60
Comes with some side pickles but no soup. The tempura batter was decent, slightly thicker as per East Japan style Tendon but not overly so. The sauce to me could be thicker and sweeter, but overall it was done more decent than many shops. If this shop was closer to my place, I would be eating there a lot !
