有幸來到酒店的高層餐廳,享受精緻的晚餐。維港的夜景自然特別吸引人。其中的餐牌及擺設也有精緻的設計。先來的生切牛肉片很鮮嫩,肉質很軟。配上脆脆的松茸乾,口感很特別。而洋蔥幕斯更是美味,甜甜的,很易入口。之後來個慢煮豬肉,肉質當然嫩滑,肉味也香。配上香煎藍蝦,很香口。加上菠菜墊底,增添一份中菜的感覺。另一款肉食是燒牛面頰,味道很香,肉質同樣嫩滑。最後來一份澳洲羊肉,面層一份烘脆黑橄欖,增添一份香味。羊肉不會羶,肉質嫩,配合清甜的蘿蔔,口味配合得調和。之後的甜品是雪糕配柑橘,甜味及酸味一起配合,很刺激的味道。除了咖啡外,結尾還有小甜點,與咖啡是絶配,為當晚畫上完美的句號。

It was my first time dining at Felix and I chose to celebrate my birthday there.We requested to book a table next to the window but unfortunately they could not arrange that. Anyway, we could still enjoy the sea view. The environment is nice.We ordered the The Carbalicious Experience at Felix with wine pairing. Every dish contains crab from appetizer to dessert. The snow crab meat salad was served with the Veuve Clic Brut Yellow Label  Champagne. The crab salad tasted good but not very special.

The second wine was Pomino Bianco Benefizio 2014, its sweet taste was suitable for me. Serving with the crab ravioli and and deep-fried crab claw. The crab claw was tasty and the ravioli was creamy.

The third dish, the Filo pastry-wrapped crab was my favourite! The pastry was so crispy and thin and the crab meat inside was seasoned well. Matching with the 2015 Darioush Signature Viognier was nice but I had not finished my first two glasses of wine yet.

For main course, we ordered one Roasted Canadian Cod and one King Crab Leg and Hokkaido Pork Tenderloin. The cod was smooth and the crab chowder was creamy. The King Crab Leg was too small and the pork was a bit dry, I did not like the texture of the pork. The forth glass of wine was 2016 Domaine Laporte which was too strong for me to drink. My boyfriend got red wine for the pork.

食物方面雖然只是其次,也約略交代一下吧。簡單說就是創意料理,有賣相取勝的,有味道讚歎的,有口感新奇的,也有吃不慣的,不過為免讓大家失去驚喜,詳細我就不談了。

總括而言,這裏提供的不是一般餐廳的湯飯扒然後上甜品的標準套餐設計,也有吃不飽的可能,而是類似酒吧一樣讓人促膝詳談的氣氛和舒適感吧!我不會建議給為食而來的人,相比之下,倒是適合各種休閒聚會多一點

My friend n I went to Felix last night for dinner. I had not been there for a while and my first impression when I arrived on 28/F was “oh this restaurant is looking tired”. The carpet at the lift lobby is probably due for a replacement.

We were promptly escorted to a corner table by the window with a city view. Thank you. Tables were well spread out so we had great privacy but still were able to get prompt attention from the waiting staff. My second thought was “oh the chairs have no seat cushion”. I would have preferred a more comfortable chair rather than one that just looked trendy.

Service was overall very good through out. Our set menu was lobster focused and all the dishes were tasty and well presented. We added $500 each for 3 glasses of wine to pair with our dishes but we did not get 3 glasses of wine. We got a tiny bit of wine in 3 glasses. If I put all the liquid into one glass it would have been half filled so this was disappointing that we paid $500 for half a glass of wine - not good value for money compared to the exquisite dishes served.

At end of the dinner, I had rose tea and it was very good. My friend’s flat white was also good. The petit fours were a delight.

Overall a good dining experience. The restaurant was almost full at one point but it was not noisy at all which was really pleasant.

I urge the management to review their “glass of wine” quantity. It really was the only flaw in our otherwise satisfied dinner and The Peninsula really did not have to be so tight.

最後仲有甜品清酒啫喱配清酒雪芭,另外仲有Petit four,有薰衣草朱古力呢個的確幾surprise。

成餐飯落嚟冇乜嘢係好印象深刻,或者始終價錢都係平所以質素都係一般般,食景食環境當然就一流。

Service leaves much room to be desired. For example, after serving steak, they did not offer mustard at all, not until we asked them. Even after we requested, they did not offer any choice of mustard. They simply put down French style mustard and assumed this is what we wanted.

I have the following observations:-

1. For main course, they were not able to control media rare / medium well, turned out the steak was either too raw or overcooked. My mum ordered medium well and I ordered medium rare, but her steak turned out to be more raw than mine. Furthermore, the taste of the steak wasn't as good as before.

2. Throughout the whole night, they did not ask if we were satisfied with the food. They did not refill water frequently, my glass was always empty throughout the night.

3. We were carrying a lot of stuff, but they did not offer to help store our bags in cloak room, not until we were seated and asked by ourselves.

4. Before starters were served, when we had finished our bread, they did not ask if we wanted more, again we had to ask by ourselves.

5. Dessert was just so so. Not up to a 5-star hotel standard.

6. The presentation of Petit fours at the end was not as elegant as before. They simply served it on an ordinary plate like Costco or Tesco platter.

7. We also discovered that the inner coating of tea pot had seriously peeled off.

Conclusion: Quite disappointing. Not sth that we expect from a so called 5-star hotel like The Peninsula.

因為家人生日,特登訂枱在半島慶祝生日。訂了星期日傍晚六時,餐廳內大概有8成滿,但環境仍算安靜,非常舒適。酒店為我們安排了窗邊位置,可以看到維港的景色,由日頭坐到夜晚,非常美麗。我們分別點了一set early dinner menu 及一份以龍蝦為主題的menu。基本上所有菜式味道都好好,賣相一流,物有所值!其中一款甜品更用了龍蝦造形,好得意!訂位時已經講明early dinner 要8點交枱,不過可能因為其中一份dinner set 有5個course,侍應也沒有任何動作催逼我們交枱,讓我們可以從容不迫的完成整晚的晚餐。

訂了星期日傍晚六時,餐廳內大概有8成滿,但環境仍算安靜,非常舒適。

酒店為我們安排了窗邊位置,可以看到維港的景色,由日頭坐到夜晚,非常美麗。

我們分別點了一set early dinner menu 及一份以龍蝦為主題的menu。基本上所有菜式味道都好好,賣相一流,物有所值!

其中一款甜品更用了龍蝦造形,好得意!

訂位時已經講明early dinner 要8點交枱,不過可能因為其中一份dinner set 有5個course,侍應也沒有任何動作催逼我們交枱,讓我們可以從容不迫的完成整晚的晚餐。

Went to Felix as a special occasion celebration with family. They have an early diner menu which are very reasonably priced with fairly good choices. Their service, atmosphere is brilliant and one gets to see the day and night view of the harbour! Would definitely go again!

Awesome Early Dinner at ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Peninsula Hotel.We were special requested the window seats to overlooking the beautiful harbour,enjoying our meal which had sunset.Service was great but the environment was no good,because there are some repairs on the outside wall,could not get the harbour view fully.The food was average,really disappointed that the dessert was so common taste,but the wine was really good which are Pen Pinot and CRAG.
