古話說的好“民以食為天”,吃到好吃的東西是極大的幸福!記得大長今裡面說菜肴的味道裡面添加了做菜肴人的心情,的確如此啊!然而,最讓我難忘的不是這裡的美食,而是店家在每一個小細節上的用心與嚴謹:典雅的裝飾,精心的選材,自製的配料,貼心的服務...只有如此悉心和誠懇地經營一家餐廳的人,才會在近七年的歲月裡始終如一的保持菜品的品質,而在菜品的菜式上推陳出新,不斷得到新老食客的眷顧!

在尋找公司附近有甚麼餐廳時找到這一間餐廳,主要的評語都是內部的裝修不錯,就在這樣的特點吸引就親身去試一試了。一進內的感覺是一間細小的餐廳,加上自己是很晏的時間才到,所以當時並沒有其他食客,感覺頗寧靜,加上不知是否聖誕的原故,場內播放著悅耳的小提琴音樂,很輕鬆。牆壁是啡黃色的,並掛上不同的油畫,加上這幾天極冷,真有點去了外國的感覺。坐下來之後,侍應除了遞過餐牌外,也倒了一杯溫水,讓冰冷的身軀可以暖和一番。第一味食品就是法式洋蔥湯及蒜溶包湯的味道是清淡的,很易入口,與濃味的蒜溶包配合得不錯。主菜是黑毛豬扒飯,豬肉很嫩滑,鬆軟,而磨菇汁的味道也很好。只是飯少了一點。

We ordered 2 dinner sets:
foie gras paste and garlic bread - the garlic bread is good but the foie gras paste is just average

foie gras salad - a thin slice of pan-fried foie gras on a piece pear and there were some salad at the side with black vinegar sauce...the foie gras smells very nice and the size is ok for an appetiter (well...I didn't expect much for a 4-course meal with this price), but the sauce is too strong and I almost choked by it when I had the salad

onion soup - the beef broth is not strong enough so the soup doesn't have much taste...the bread with cheese will be better if they put a bit more cheese and bake longer before put into the soup

roast suckling pig - it was very nice...very crispy and only 1 piece with many fats...there were around 6 pieces so the portion may be a bit too small

souffle - I forgot which flavour did I have but it was nice!

Overall, I think the quality and portion of the food is average.  I still find it value for the money I paid as I am not having dinner in a michelin restaurant and not paying for like 10k for your meal.  I would say it's a good choice if you just want to have a normal dinner, but you may want to go for a higher quality restaurant if it's for a special event.
Other Info. : I saw a couple had baked escargots but I didn't see it on the menu...might have missed it so have to try it next time.

The main course came and at first glance looked good. The foie gras was overcooked though and the glaze on top overpowered the taste. The duck leg was covered with cheese and tomate sauce, which reminded me of the HK style pork chop rice. Didn't think the sauce went well with the duck though.

適逄我跟GF的紀念日,上網找了良久.發現這家店風評甚好,氣氛也很好,很適合情侶到訪~先來的是巨大的鵝肝, 比一般餐廳的最少大1倍!配上煮濃的意大利黑醋,下面加一塊甜桃,很好地解除了過多的油膩感,又不會像多士般搶了鵝肝的味卻令它更油膩蒜蓉包+自家制黑松露鵝肝醬, 鵝肝醬味道濃厚, 而且多得可以用來搽滿8塊蒜蓉包也可以呢!蘑菇湯很足料,很多蘑菇, 名乎其實"蘑菇湯"加上大量蒜蓉的焗田螺,雖然吃到這裡有點油膩,但被得惹味的感覺蓋過了,結果當然又是清碟!有點像雜錦拼盤,羊架, 羶味的控制很重要, 過猶不及, 這份羊羶味用醬汁調得很好,不錯!牛排, 似是7-8成熟, 味道是不錯,但有點過熟呢大蝦跟龍脷柳也是上級的水準芒果味的梳乎里,不是內有芒果肉,而是真真正正把味道包含了在梳乎里內,沒有破壞其鬆軟口感, 讚!

老實說,第一次見把鵝肝翻譯為“Goose Liver”的menu,是因為怕食客不知道你用鴨肝還是鵝肝嗎?當下是有點流汗......這款漢堡包可以選牛肉或者雞肉,算是非常貼心的安排,我們就選了牛肉。

已經說明了是「迷你」,我們也沒有expect很大份,大概跟麥記差不多吧,但加上薯條和沙律還是可以吃得飽的。鵝肝和牛肉差不多size,只是鵝肝比較薄一點。當然$99的鵝肝你不會expect有一級水平,個人認為夠rich,但如果可以再buttery一點會更好;雖是如此,比一般酒店用來做頭盤的更好吃。牛肉肉味夠,也算juicy,只是中間有點點筋,但不太影響整體味道。

香煎魚柳配龍蝦汁意大利粉 $79 (8.5/10)
魚柳表面煎得香脆但肉有點軟,龍蝦汁不是太多,剛剛好夠覆蓋魚柳和一點點意粉。不像外面很多食肆做出的「假龍蝦汁」,這裡的龍蝦汁還不錯,龍蝦味很濃,加點忌廉搞不好可以變做龍蝦湯。但最討我喜歡卻是意大利粉,夠硬身但有彈性,配上不多不少的醬汁,近期吃過屬於高水準的意粉。

頭盤是餐廳出名嘅鵝肝沙律,外脆內軟!正

古法龍蝦湯,很濃很香。田螺焗薯蓉!薯蓉夠熱又好味。吃到主菜雖然有點飽,但實在太好味,所以連伴菜都清埋,最後是甜品,蕃石梨souffle,很香蕃石梨味!


 雖然我地差不多20人,但送餐很有效率,安排得十分好,而且所有食物都又熱又精美,聽職員介紹,
原來老板就是大廚,以前曾經喺半島酒店同其他5星酒店做左差不多40年大廚,難怪食物質素咁一流啦!

另外值得抵讚就係D職員,雖然我地成班姐妹鬼殺咁嘈,但佢地全夜都保持住笑容招呼我地,其中一位女職員很有耐性幫我地照左很多張大合照,用不同各度又專登較光餐廳嘅燈之餘仲要好識攪氣氛,鬼咁專業!我諗她應該很有經驗的

真係諗唔到呢度會有間咁好嘅餐廳,我下次一定會帶埋老公黎幫襯過!

相比起數日前飲嗰個罐頭龍蝦湯, 呢個簡直好唔知幾多倍! 湯底質地幼滑得嚟好creamy濃郁, 龍蝦味又夠濃, 龍蝦肉彈牙爽口, 只可惜龍蝦肉份量一隻手數得晒, 如果唔係就更好~
除咗鵝肝漢堡包之外, 仲有呢個烤油鴨髀嘅主菜都配有香煎鵝肝, 完完全全滿足晒我地對鵝肝嘅慾望~ 鵝肝煎到皮脆肉嫩, 外面脆皮加上肥肥嘅油脂, 民以食為天唔理住啦, 咁好味嘅高膽固醇嘢都係食完先算~ 只係比較感覺怪少少嘅係鵝肝配上黑醋增加咗d酸味, 可能係為咗清新d同減低鵝肝嘅滯膩, 都係鍾意就咁原汁原味食多d~ 但係都估唔到, 個烤油鴨髀竟然有驚喜! 本身都係為咗食個鵝肝而叫, 呢個油鴨髀上枱都好吸引喎~ 大大隻嘅鴨髀比鵝肝更搶眼, 醬汁加芝士配上鴨髀, 觀感十分唔錯~ 以為烤鴨肉大多肉地會比較實, 又或者只有咬口冇乜肉味, 但係竟然估錯晒… 鴨髀入口比雞髀更嫩滑, 只係用叉都已經可以將一絲絲嘅嫩肉分開, 肉質唔係話太濕潤, 但係有個類似野菌汁嘅醬可以彌補番, 呢個醬用處比鵝肝個醋更來得合時, 亦突然鴨嘅肉味, 芝士再增添香濃, 另外又配咗少量嘅飯, 撈撈汁嚟食十分惹味~
熱咖啡聞落比飲落去香, 啡味唔太夠濃, 就係喺呢餐之中留低咗少少遺憾.

無試到店方拿手推介有六種味道選擇嘅梳乎厘, 反而對呢個蘋果芝士餅呢個新鮮配搭更有興趣! $20就只得一件比一隻麻雀大少少嘅芝士餅… 但總算無叫錯, 真係好食. 芝士質地綿滑細密, 同餅底可以緊緊相貼. 芝士味清細緻之餘更內藏粒粒香甜蘋果茸, 加上餅面灑上少少肉桂crumble, 為呢餐開年飯劃上完美句號.

雖然鵝肝的食用備受爭議,但在 Jacky's Kitchen 就是不能錯過的美食,有許多套餐也包含了鵝肝,也可額外添加,那就讓自己做一回罪人吧!

我選了鵝肝漢寶。餡料鵝肝的三角尖端露了出來,如舌頭般伸出,彷彿預告漢寶隱藏無窮滋味,吃得人舔舔嘴。"多多" 把它切成4份,入口全是鵝肝澎湃的醇香,質量保持良好;不管牛肉如何香濃,相信也敵不過鵝肝的獨有香氣。雖然如此,免治牛肉呈鬆軟的粗粒狀,不只不是機械式的製作,反之似是自家手琢,感覺新鮮。若能於牛肉內放一點炒香的洋葱,口感與味道會更加理想。

我們沒有為漢寶添加任何醬汁,食材的味道已足以令人滿意!

吃吃談談,快樂的1個半小時轉眼飛逝,希望暖意畫廊可將 "多多" 的地獄變得溫暖怡人,縱使工作就像人生沒完沒了的使命,若上司或老闆們能處事公平一點,人性化一點,便只有天堂,沒有地獄了。
