這天是生日, 我家人說這兒是一間很有心機的餐廳, 所以他們帶了我來這兒慶祝我生日來到店裹, 音樂好美妙, 聽了很想睡覺...哈哈服務員態度很好 即來一籃香脆鬆軟的蒜蓉包, 好香午餐有包括餐湯, 叫了這幾款周打海鮮湯, 湯裹很多料, 非常足料蘑菇湯, 濃郁我飲的是洋蔥湯, 很多地方已經沒有洋蔥湯或很是但如水一樣的湯但這兒感到原汁原味, 好甜 湯裹麵包好味, 想飲完再飲感覺!我第一次吃這一種薄餅 (左上角沙律好好味, 辣辣地)超多餡, 味道超豐富, 芝士很多三個汁顏色一樣, 但三個都不同D菇菇好好味5成熟, 煎得好靚, 配上黃菌汁真係想食左隻碟...哈哈香煎三文魚配意粉, 魚煎得很香口最好食呢個豬, 又唔硬, 又唔乾甜品薑汁梳乎里, 真係超級正!唔會太甜, 馬上很快吃完不過呢個奶凍一般, 硬左少少, 但味道不錯下次午餐多一個地方選擇了, 再來洋蔥湯~不過希望賣相改善一點

三百至四百蚊就有五個course, 都算抵食.環境唔錯, 好啱慢慢食吓野傾吓偈先上餐飽, 沒有牛油伴碟, 反而是黑松鵝肝醬, menu裡面沒有提及, 所以真的很驚喜, 對兩個人而言, 這瓶醬有多無少, 厚厚的搽滿四塊洋葱多士也吃不完!跟著就是個個讚好的煎鵝肝, 真的外脆內軟, 無得頂, 必食!南瓜帶子湯是不錯的配搭, 湯口感和南瓜味都豐富, 淡淡的很好下口, 令本身淡口的帶子來得更自然 (就算去酒店比你食嘅帶子都係好淡口的)這個OK, 蠔味夠, 再大隻啲就更好燒乳豬一定要試, 肉好嫰口, 入口唔肥膩!比起鴨脾更耐吃其實鴨脾都不錯, 鴨本身肉是比較'鞋', 兼份量好大, 一個女仔一定食唔到兩隻鴨脾!最後是餐茶和ginger soufflé, 小餐廳水準, 略為稀, 雖然跟酒店的有一點距離, 但也算很不錯.整體來說很好, 我覺得是很有誠意的一間餐廳, 值得支持!

Escargot on mashed potato - same taste & style as other restaurants, OK.
Roast Piglet - skin texture between crispy & hard, flesh quite salty & dry, not tender enough

Blueberry cheesecake - umm... obviously the chef cooks main dishes better...

Other dishes:
Lobster Bisque - nice, but a bit salty
Parma Ham salad - diced parma ham mixed with veg, ok.
Lambchop - very good!
Other Info. : Desserts need to be improved & it's better to have more choices. The view to look from the inside to the outside is brilliant! very English & Christmas feel, and i like the lamp at the corner of the cashier.

主菜來了~~我地都係叫同一款, 點左牛柳配蝦
我地叫7成, 但明顯煎得過了火位, 因為切的時候有D難切, 入口的時候又覺得有點韌,
但都重肉味, 味道算唔錯啦~~ 希望下次佢可以改善下火喉問題啦~~
另外,我都好欣賞隻蝦~~因為D蝦肉都幾彈牙新鮮~

終於等到我最心愛的甜品~~點了薑味梳乎厘同埋CHEESECAKE
我完完全全比梳乎厘吸引了~~ 首先賣相靚~~入口夠熱, 又有薑的香味而不會辣..甜味適中

如果不是有朋友帶路, 絶對找不到這家小店, 店雖小但大廚來頭絶對不小, 或許退休後的小玩意, 不用點菜老闆兼大廚Jacky直接做什麼吃什麼, 一邊品嘗越飲越有勁的85年COS, 一邊和JACKY閒聊, 得益非淺, 非常滿足的一個晚上, 有空再來.

As usual, we tried out a special new restaurant every year to celebrate the occasion.
This year, from the reviews of Openrice, this restaurant was picked.

The reservations were done a week ago,
with polite manner and kind confirmation as well on the day.

We arrived at 5:45pm, a bit earlier than their opening time.
Still, they were very kind to let us in.

The four of us ordered 4 different sets.
(Sorry I forgot exactly what those dishes were, since it was almost half a year ago)
The salad, appetite, main course and dessert were extremely outstanding.

The soup was great, rich in texture and used ingredients instead of flour / cream only.
(Even as picky and biased as I am on western style soup, I finished the whole bowl by myself!)


The souffle was extremely impressive.
Even mum who has low interests for desserts finished the whole cup without sharing with us!


Even as minor as coffee,
the crema was done perfectly.

Jacky, and his waitress was very patient and observant,
always presenting dishes at the right time,
and present us with new utensils right away when careless us fall everything.

They also gave us useful recommendations when we asked as we browsed the menu.

Mum was very pleased with the enjoyable dinner,
and so were the rest of us.

Very small but ok. A bit noisy when full house but ok as long as there's no single table of 10+ people dominating the dining room.

The dinner menu was simple - either the 4 course or 5 course sets. We had two 4 course sets.

For appetizers, we had the escargots and parma ham salad. I love the escargots - 7 of them, with strong flavor of garlic and herb. The parma ham salad was ok. A good start.

Then we had the soup - onion and fresh tomato with scallop - ok la.

For the main couse, we have the surf and turf - Fillet mignon with prawn. A bit disappointing. The prawn was flappy suggesting lack of freshness and the beef was only so and so. However the source was ok. The other main course is lamb racks. we had high hopes but again it was only so and so. i.e. you forgot what you ate.

For dessert, we had tiramisu and ginger souffle. Non enough liqueur for the tiramisu. The souffle was a bit bland - no flavor of ginger.

Service is however rather good. They kindly waived the $50 of corkage for my Gewurz.

Will I go back? Probably not.

到上甜點,我們要了服務生小姐推介的士多啤梨味梳乎里跟妹妹愛吃的芝士餅
不過到最近上菜 服務生小姐多送了我們一份薑味的梳乎里,說是讓我們嚐盡是日甜點,太謝謝了!
超級推介梳乎里 無論是薑味的跟草莓味的梳乎里~2個都超好吃!!!!!! 是超乎想像的好吃!!! 很驚艷!!!!!
我跟我妹比較愛士多啤梨味的~我媽就比較愛吃薑味... 每個人的口味都不同,所以也說不準吧?
有看到梳乎里還沒塌下去嗎?是即製新鮮熱辣的喔~!所以就更更更好吃!
上層的皮是脆脆的 下面超軟~正!
媽媽覺得士多啤梨的偏甜,我跟我妹就覺得剛好,而且士多啤梨味的甜是有士多啤梨味的~所以我們都很能接受!
薑味也很特別 不過稍稍覺得薑味不夠重 只是一點點而已 不過也是很特別的感覺~!

還有青蘋果芝士蛋糕 openrice有限制圖上載量 所以未能上載
我不太好芝士餅 不過我妹很愛吃~
這個對我來說就剛好 而且也帶有青蘋果一點點酸酸的感覺 感覺也是很清新
一件不是很重芝士口味的芝士餅 不過我妹比較愛吃濃一點的芝士餅 就覺得不夠多芝士味了


唯一美中不足的是餐廳有點小,又剛好餐聽內的客人都是內地客,講話也很大聲,變得很吵...@@ 而且full house..... 聽說服務生說星期二會比較少人....
還有可能一開始人比較多,所以餐點來的時間有點慢,要等一陣子才有得吃,又剛好我們都有點餓,就會覺得更慢,不過之後湯之後都來得很快~
值得一讚的是我們不喝酒,不過服務生都很勤奮也很主動的幫我們加水,很不錯。

整體來說是很 surprise ~沒想過這個價錢也能吃到如此不錯的法國菜 讚!
