平時一般喺普通串燒店食到嘅現成雞皮又長又脆,似食薯片。但木户選用大和雞嘅雞皮較厚,一塊塊用竹簽串起,外面燒到脆,內裡依舊雞皮少少軟嘅口感,好有日本風味!一串大約有5塊,份量都算適中。

用大蝦包住沖繩苦瓜,再用炸物天婦羅方式一齊炸。老實說,唔太夾,因為涼瓜有啲苦,但分開每樣食都好味。燒汁本來係提供俾伴碟嘅日本椰菜一齊食去減低油膩感覺,但個人認為大蝦同苦瓜都可以點,會更好味。


整體來講,木户食物質素比一般串燒店明顯高級,價錢當然亦一樣比較高,所以個人認為性價比還好。但如果想搵間有日本風味嘅串燒店,木户的確係個幾好嘅選擇!加上有師傅喺你面前一串一串咁燒,所以坐bar table有埋表演睇都好享受。

— Probably my favourite type of yakitori out there and this did not disappoint! The minced chicken was well marinated and grilled perfectly. This went really well with their egg yolk tare which had the perfect amount of sweetness and savouriness to it.


Pic 2️⃣: 宮崎和牛豚肉免治扒 - $78 hkd
— This was sooo good! The meat was nicely seasoned and deep fried to perfection, which left the meat super juicy on the inside. Though I wish the pork to beef ratio was a bit more balanced as there seemed to be a lot more pork compared to beef. The tonkatsu dipping sauce was also really tasty.


Pic 3️⃣: 厚燒牛舌 - $88 hkd 🐮
— A must order! The ox tongue was so tender and grilled to an aromatic finish. Simple seasoning but yet so delicious.


Pic 4️⃣: 日式辣味燒魷魚鬚 - $68 hkd 🦑
— So addicting! These reminded me of the dried squid snacks because of how flavourful they were! They’re not overly spicy but packed with flavour so its perfect even for those who can’t take spice! The squid is cooked perfectly to give it that crunchy texture.


Pic 5️⃣: 大和雞雞鎚 - $39 hkd
— So cute! Seasoning on this was slightly bland though.


Pic 6️⃣: 魚烏冬 - $138 hkd 🐟
— Really enjoyed this! The udon noodles are actually made of fish meat giving it a really bouncy texture. The broth was also super rich and had a strong umami taste to it.


Pic 7️⃣: 大和雞大蔥雞肉 - $39 hkd
— Lacked charcoal aroma, but the grilled leek was tasty.


Pic 8️⃣: 明太子紫蘇豚肉卷 - $45 hkd
— The pork belly was a bit too oily for me and the taste of the mentaiko filling wasn’t that prominent.


Pic 9️⃣: 日式醬油燒飯團 - $38 hkd 🍙
— Loved this! The onigiri was grilled to a super crispy exterior whilst the rice was still nice and soft on the inside. Wished there was a bit more soy sauce on this but overall super good! Great if you’re looking for a carb to fill you up!


Pic 🔟: 大和雞雞腿肉 - $39 hkd
— Slightly disappointing, lacked seasoning and flavour. The flavour of the chicken wasn’t really strong either.


Overall rating:
😋Taste: Their chicken yakitori is quite average and lacks the rich charcoal grill flavour. Personally thought their non-chicken dishes shined through a lot more.
📍Ambiance: Seating is quite spacious, staff are super friendly and attentive.
⭐️Would visit again?: Worth a try!

相信呢款菜係每個居酒屋都會有嘅。而佢燒嘅雞肉串肉質結實並無鬆散,仲食到粒粒雞軟骨,配上佢地嘅蛋黃,令到雞肉丸同蛋黃嘅鮮甜混合,提升左雞肉丸嘅鮮味,最後隻蛋太高質,將佢飲埋🤣

偽裝成蘋果的福岡蕃茄🍅夠新鮮和冰凍已經足夠,簡單好食。
