Kuro Shabu主打日本鹿兒島產既黑毛和牛就lunch set基本上300起,咁其實係香港用呢種價錢食A4 or A5唔算話特別平亦都唔係貴到冇人有,你話食物質素好高其實中環周圍都有呢種質素& price嘅餐廳🤷‍♂️



Several major points of personal dissatisfaction:


1️⃣因為係reserved table一開始入到去職員好有禮貌帶位介紹,落完單到此為止都正常,上菜之後maybe lunch time nearly finish(就黎落場應該?),氣氛好hea,職員傾偈傾得好大聲完全冇理過其他客。其實就唔太介意stuff傾偈,問題係,飲到冇水要叫人先會幫客斟,傾傾下就係食緊野嘅我地面前洗抹布
一個咁樣定價同個人定位嘅餐廳絕對唔應該係個客食緊野面前洗抹布



2️⃣主打一人一鍋,用放滿昆布熬製的清湯唔會搶肉味,個湯底係清到好似水咁u know😅 stuff話先淥肉再食菜,我已經唔係重口味嘅人,但開頭幾塊和牛完全係清水淥肉😅


3️⃣兩種醬汁非常老土且無聊⋯⋯
我冇期待你有啲咩特別大特色,但至少唔會係街坊芝麻汁同醋醬⋯⋯


4️⃣我見有好幾個食評已經講過overpriced問題,餐廳冇及時update Menu,Sep 21已經係358➡️398 258➡️298 話就話120g但五片有冇120g i’m not really sure🤷‍♂️

the premium is fatter than the standard one and my rich in the oil. it went perfect with rice and the sauce they provided

the standard one is less fat but it comes with three different position of the meat which is also a good mix to have

of course we order sake as well to enjoy the meal to the fullest!

Shabu shabu Lunch at kuro shabu in Sheung Wan. We booked via restaurant week.They upgraded one item from A4 Wagyu to A5 Wagyu for us. TBH I can’t taste the difference anyways but it’s always good to get upgraded😝Overall, the wagyu was pretty good!👍 A nice place to try out diff cut of wagyu. It’s the best place in HK for shabu shabu I’ve been to so far. Personally still prefer Chinese style hotpot/ Wagyu Sukiyaki 🙈 ard:$500 pp for lunch.

the wagyu beef is amazing😍💓 the muro signature set however is just mediocre and i wouldn’t recommend getting that😢i really liked their yuzu soy sauce💜 its so unique and makes it taste fresher (idk how to put it otherwise🤪)will revisit? no because id love to try other restaurants in the area!

I had quite high hopes for this restaurant as we were craving shabu shabu but sadly expectations were not met. We came here on a Monday during lunchtime, so there was not a wait. Ordered the most expensive premium lunch set for $398 (+$20 for udon) as we wanted to try out the beef. First of all, the broth to cook the meat and vegetables is just hot water.. which meant everything just ended up so tasteless. I guess you could say they want you to be able to taste the beef flavour without any additional strong flavouring, but that meant the beef had to be really excellent and it wasn't, so it just ended up being extremely plain. Beef quality was fine but nothing memorable, around 5-6 pieces for each person. The rest were just boiled vegetables too which doesn't add to the palate. They did provide dipping sauces, ponzu and sesame but it still wasn't enough. Overall, the service was good, the staff were polite. The bill ended up being around $450 per person, we left feeling unsatisfied and for that price I can think of many other better lunch options.

一人一鍋的設定,衛生又安全!湯底是固定的昆布清湯,可能有些人會覺得稍微有點淡,但我個人還挺喜歡的因為可以保留到肉質的鮮味。

最喜歡牛肉ribeye,入口即化開而且肉味濃郁!其他的肉也非常的好食。

另外蔬菜盤蔬菜非常新鮮,烏冬麵是有幼身的面款而且十分幼滑。

👍🏻店內的環境和服務態度也很好,店員會細心介紹每款肉應該要烹飪的時間。

Tried the Premium and Standard A4 wagyu sets and the difference between the two was the cuts included. The Standard set consisted of chuck roll, shoulder cut and short plate, whereas the Premium set had ribeye and top sirloin. The sets also came with vegetables, rice or inaniwa udon and dessert. All the beef was from Kagoshima. The beef quality was decent although not top-notch, and that is even taking into account that it was A4 not A5 (I have seen some pics of their A5 wagyu which seemed way t

Tried the Premium and Standard A4 wagyu sets and the difference between the two was the cuts included. The Standard set consisted of chuck roll, shoulder cut and short plate, whereas the Premium set had ribeye and top sirloin. The sets also came with vegetables, rice or inaniwa udon and dessert. All the beef was from Kagoshima. The beef quality was decent although not top-notch, and that is even taking into account that it was A4 not A5 (I have seen some pics of their A5 wagyu which seemed way too fatty like it was so so pale so idk if I would have preferred their A5). The real issue was the soup, which really felt like a pot of water without any salt. I'm no expert in Japanese shabushabu so maybe that's how it's meant to be but I would have liked a bit of flavour to the soup base. I did however like the warabi as dessert a lot, it was soft yet chewy and had just the right level of sweetness. Overall I think they are a decent restaurant with reasonable prices but there's also nothing in particular that would make me want to go back.
