Tried one of the cocktails
Sandy strawberry
A very soothing feeling with the right amount of alcohol

Then we got the eggplant dip with the Nahm bread
Bread is well baked
Slightly crispy at the top
If the waiter hadn’t mention that it’s eggplant dip
We will think it’s more like a smoked chicken with tomato
The onion added the right texture to the paste
Nice to pair with white wine

The lamb stew is reli tender
Totally acceptable even for people who can’t stand the “so” taste
Don miss out the spice sauce if u love spicy
It’s reli hot
But does bring out the flavour of the lamb

Paella with seafood
Prawns n clams r fresh
well cooked
But since I’m an occasional vegetarian
It’s a bit salty for me
Although I still can’t resist n finished the entire dish!

Will definitely visit again

太陽缺席飯局,今晚特意揀中東菜(經openrice 訂枱),曾路過發現富中東氣味,但竟不知是有米芝蓮星。先order併盆egyptian Mezze platter$210,在openrice食評相中看到到好豐富,二人最適合,樣樣都有份量剛好,從相片頂部,順時針方看,雞心豆蓉洋蔥碎,兩種茄子蓉有紫洋蔥碎~好幼滑,糊狀,不膩,配中東包pita一流,包暖暖的,雖無味但有麥香,不會太薄或厚,雖簡單,心駒動感覺滋味。咸酸菜辣椒紅蘿蔔青瓜,酸味少咸味強烈重,頂吾順。烤羊肉餅,濃香料味,雖肉攪碎烤,略鞋。香草孜然薯餅,芝麻面香,我喜孜然及薯薯,所以惹味,feel good摩洛哥雪茄 ,即羊奶芝士春卷, 脆皮十足係中式,只是餡羊奶芝士 ,軟軟,無拉絲。羊奶芝士粒加香草,無牛芝士濃味及膩,像硬豆腐。黎巴嫩啤酒,雖一般,中東菜需要中東啤酒配合,一齊食已夠飽。雜錦燒雞羊,蘸酸奶,原想串燒個種,端上來一塊塊,中東香料濃,雞肉還好,羊肉好韌又鞋。

塔吉鍋,揀左主食係鱸魚,配上紅燈籠椒、韭菜,再用上一種摩洛哥既醃料叫Charmoula。塔吉鍋外形係三角圓錐,可以令蒸氣循環上升,減少水分流失,咁就可以保持到菜餚既水分,達至原汁原味。鱸魚好嫩滑,魚肉容易分離但又唔會散哂,醬汁以茄膏作主調,食落以蕃茄為主,配料有西蘭花、荷蘭豆等等,食落酸酸甜甜好開胃。

Cous Cous 即古斯米,係馬格裡布地區人(非洲西北部)既主食。Cous Cous係用粗麵粉整成一粒粒獨立唔會黏埋一齊既小米,比較乾身,餐廳再用橄欖油蒸煮過,食落冇咩味,所以配有羅宋湯一齊食,老闆教食法係舀羅宋湯淋係飯上面食,古斯米索左羅宋湯汁就好似湯飯咁,而主角係Lamb Shank(羊腿/膝),配上牛肉腸,羊肉都煮得好腍而且醃得入味,不過就個人口味而言覺得可以再腍啲,牛肉腸烤至兩面微焦,十分香口。

總括而言,本身自己咩地方既菜式都鍾意食,對中東菜雖然了解唔多,但經過今晚,食到佢地既用料冇印度果邊香料味咁重,好平均,濃味但又唔會令人接受唔到,而係舒服果種,好啱我口味,老闆又熱情,會再嚟幫襯。

最近日韓台菜已經食到好厭,就發掘下其他唔同國家既餐廳。呢間Le Souk係米芝蓮推薦既摩洛哥菜餐廳,未食之前已經相當期待,最後果然冇令我失望,食物相當有水準,值得推薦👍🏻👍🏻

嗌左個 Moroccan Pumpkin Soup 摩洛哥南瓜湯作為前菜,作為一個初嚐摩洛哥菜式嘅小薯仔,真係未飲過咁好飲既南瓜湯!平時食西餐嘅南瓜湯普遍味道香甜為主,而摩洛哥南瓜湯除咗保留南瓜本身嘅香甜,仲帶點微辣辛香,非常有層次既味道,飲落去有熱辣辣既感覺,令人回味無窮,好想再黎多碗!

鷹嘴豆泥配羊肉粒,相當令人驚艶既前菜。平日對鷹嘴豆冇乜好感,但呢個菜式同 Sahara Bread 絕對係天作之合。

Sahara Bread 共有兩塊,分別以小麥粉同白麵粉製成,表面較乾身,內裡香軟,微暖既包配以鷹嘴豆泥,非常搭配,個人特別鐘愛小麥包。鷹嘴豆泥上既羊肉粒帶點羶香,羊肉流落黎既肉汁同鷹嘴豆泥融為一體,而包就岩岩好中和左肉類既膩感,不得了。

主菜係 Lamb Tagine 燉羊肉,羊肉非常香軟,每一口都係羊既香味,羶味岩岩好,重點係食落唔會膩。
