The first dish to arrive was the lobster bisque. It was supposed to look good. Unfortunately, the waitress was not careful enough while bringing the dish in, and it ended up with quite a messy look. The base of the soup was fine, creaminess just right, but it lacked a bit of seasoning. The lobster inside the soup was unexpectedly good; it was grilled with a very good texture. My wife had cream of mushroom. The creaminess was alright, but again it lacked a bit of seasoning.

The third dish was a tomato sauce seafood stuffed ravioli. The dish looks good, and the tomato sauce was nice with a well balanced acidity and saltiness. The ravioli was unfortunately just undercooked at the periphery. The seafood stuffed inside the ravioli was soso, a bit more of seasoning would have made it much better. Overall, it was an okay dish but the undercooked pasta made it disappointing.
Spring chicken with black truffle risotto

The fourth dish was a grilled spring chicken stuffed with black truffle risotto. The presentation was excellent. The grill was nicely done with a crispy skin on the outside. Once you cut the spring chicken open, the smell of the black truffle came out immediately and lifted up your expectation. The risotto stuffed inside the spring chicken was also nicely done, not too rich but it worked harmoniously well with the spring chicken when you eat them together. It was a difficult dish to cook, but it was in good hands.

At first, I did not want to order any desserts from a Hong Kong style Italian restaurant. Finally, after seeing their dessert menu, I decided to try them out. Panna cotta looked okay, but the plating was certainly not the best. The texture of the panna cotta was rather thick and chewy, but the flavour was alright. The molten chocolate cake barely held together, but it tasted unexpectedly good. The molten chocolate was nicely done with a very rich choco flavour. 

Afterall, it was quite an interesting dining experience. Here you would not expect someone to serve you like a classy western restaurant. Waiters were very polite but they were just not trained to serve like that. Some dishes were nicely cooked, but some lacked a bit seasoning, and plating/ presentation certainly need some improvements.

今日天氣很好,所以中午就和同事一起过来这边食lunch,虽然这边交通不是很方便,不过是骑单车的好地方,風景很漂亮,是个很好hea的地方中午的午餐套餐68元,而且质素很好,不像有些地方收西餐的价却吃得是茶餐厅的质素。虽然只是普通的spaghetti,不过意粉不会太软,不错,看到同事的牛排套餐也很大件牛排。大家一起order了个大的nachos,然后有3种酱配,雖然有點貴,但nachos焗的剛剛好,非常脆,和cheese一起非常惹味。

wow we were so impressed!

My friend ordered a steak set lunch and I ordered a grilled chicken salad. They were both very yummy !
The steak was juicy and tender, even the side dish (chips) was nice- crunchy! My grilled chicken salad was good but the crispy bacon was a bit hard... however, I love the salad dressing, it was great with the fresh cruchy lettuce!


I ordered hot milk tea but found it too strong, so the waiter kindly gave me a cup of milk to add to the tea - hmmm... silky smooth...


Nice environment + good service + yummy food + resonable price = Will definitely go again!

午膳時間與幾位好同事醫肚兼慶生,到這裡吃set lunch, 由於餐廳每日設定數款set lunch 讓客人點菜,天天款式不同,通常毋須費神便可以在一目了然的菜牌找到想吃的東西,於是,四個人點了沙律,pizza ,牛柳和意粉,開開心心的等候美食送上,沙律的糖心半熟蛋,鮮嫩牛柳,雜菌拌著白汁的甘香,讓人吃得開懷,pizza頃刻涼了,又可以請侍應適量翻熱,食物美味水準高,每人平均60多元,又能在戶外吹著自然風看著風景進食,是值得再訪的食店。

太太至愛的,就是Pizza,亦是她要選擇食意大利餐的原因。是日的素pizza,是正宗的意大利薄批。她的薄pizza,充滿了菇的氣息,芝士不算厚,不過在extra芝士粉同extra辣椒粒及Tabasco的點綴下,更是可口。Pizza,意式的好味,美式的就是開心。

我看來看去,也翻來翻去。都找不到心儀的食品。最後就脫離了意式,點了一個墨西哥式的烤雞。鐵版的烤雞胸肉,好瘦肉,而且是鞋鞋的,若是在中國茶,就不為人接受了,但在外國的menu中,這雞雖鞋,但夠嫩滑,已經是不錯了。

食法就不是就咁食這麼的簡單。不知有沒有說過,墨西哥的菜式同部份地區的印度的菜式有一定程度的其通點。都是以薄餅卷著肉來享吃。這個墨西哥烤雞卷,其鐵板雞肉就是利用了熱力把洋蔥的香味鎖進了在雞肉之中,加了綠豆蓉,乳酪同辣洋蔥粒,卷著去食,百味夜雜中,非常之香口惹味。即使肉鞋鞋地,但夠嫩,夠spice,一樣的好食。

感覺一流的餐廳,有少少令人覺得似在南歐海邊小餐廳用餐的一般。而且味道不錯,在香港,要這樣的歐洲的露天飲食感受,的確是不易找,而大美督的幾間西餐廳,就給了我們這一個的感覺了。

那天聽同事說大埔跟大美督路程不遠,只需一程小巴便到,於是某天便等車去吃,點知,閒日去大美督的人,竟然也載滿了三架小巴,連續三架小巴也上不了,最後見有巴士往大美督就跑上去了啦。去到巴士總站,附近有一堆泰國餐廳呀西餐之類,沒多想之下 (午飯時間爭分奪秒) 就來了這家 Luca,那天天氣不太好,坐在室外感覺都不算太熱。點餐以後先送來麵包,暖暖的讓我有點喜出望外,麵包入口鬆軟,帶微甜,面頭灑上兩塊香草,讓包吃起來有著淡淡的草香,配上黑醋 & (沒甚麼味道) 的 olive oil 又真很不錯吃。稍嫌這麵包的油分多了少許 (也難怪這樣鬆軟),墊底的紙都吸滿了油,有點不太好看。餐湯,我要了紅的,味道普通。主菜嘛,同事選了 pizza,沒記錯名字大約是 "特式 pizza" 之類,材料就是看到的 peppers、onion、肉碎 、salami、菠蘿、olive 等,很大堆頭,感覺很至尊批 (?),不過餅底非常薄脆,入口像餅乾一樣,mozarella 分量足夠,連批邊也沾到一些,配著薄薄的餅底吃起來也不會太膩。另外我選的主菜是海鮮茄汁長通粉,那刻太餓的關係,結果分了一些才想起要拍照 囧 上桌的賣相比

主菜嘛,同事選了 pizza,沒記錯名字大約是 "特式 pizza" 之類,材料就是看到的 peppers、onion、肉碎 、salami、菠蘿、olive 等,很大堆頭,感覺很至尊批 (?),不過餅底非常薄脆,入口像餅乾一樣,mozarella 分量足夠,連批邊也沾到一些,配著薄薄的餅底吃起來也不會太膩。

另外我選的主菜是海鮮茄汁長通粉,那刻太餓的關係,結果分了一些才想起要拍照 囧 上桌的賣相比這相要好得多,而且也不欺場,海鮮不是雪藏一大包的那種,青口和蝦吃起來都有新鮮的甜味,混上香草的茄汁也能增加海鮮的食味;長通粉煮得稍硬了少許,但硬總比軟趴趴來的好。

午餐附餐飲,在同事的力勸之下 (?) 沒要咖啡要了檸茶 (邊勸邊說「又話訓得唔好又話要飲咖啡」…有時我覺得佢都幾像個阿媽,哈哈),這裏的午餐不算貴,大概是 $68/$78 一個,依不同的主菜而定。

是次隨便駛入了大尾篤, 沒多想便選了這店用餐軟綿綿麵包, 不用點橄醋或油亦很不錯四款不同ham, 各有特色, 由淡至咸, 全都不錯, 值得一試Caesar 加雞胸, 生菜很新鮮, 份量不少, 雞胸乾了點, 雖然明知是雞胸會雞的其他部分不滑, 但這次真是太乾了呢.... dressing偏淡, 不是很夠味意粉真的炒得很香很乾身, 一點油都不覺, 很難得, 海鮮包括魷魚及蝦等, 還不錯呢!各服務員都超有禮及有效率, 很'話頭醒尾', 讚!

另外兩樣我不嬲都不十分中意食的,但我的家人說很好食,心太軟甜度適,又夠熱

最後要讚讚服務態度,他們全部都很細心又有禮貌
不停加水同換碟,又係咪講唔該同唔洗客氣咁
