-有4片豬頸肉,青瓜絲,西芹絲,酸紅蘿蔔絲,扎肉條,芽菜同好多花生碎

-底下嘅檬粉全部無"痴"埋1pat
-估唔到粉狀嘅花生碎遇上隨後+入嘅橙紅檬粉汁會變粉花生糊,很有花生嘅香
-反而另上的1jar橙紅色湯汁味道普通,無鮮味/惹味,所以未能為撈檬+上靈魂

這細小的越南麵包店在炮台山AIA Tower 後面,細小得走過也沒有找到這店。我今次帶兩位友人來這裏吃越南麵包當晚餐。約下午六時多,下班時間所以沒有客人。麵包有三種選擇:原味、黑麥芽味、竹炭味,我選擇了黑麥芽麵包配豬肉及配菜,加飲品共HK$37,十分便宜。黑麥芽麵包外脆內軟,豬肉及配菜質感清爽,不會有滯的感覺,亦是沒有味精的健康食品。這裏的越南滴溜咖啡,很香濃,用煉奶代替奶精,不用加糖。咖啡愛好者必飲。

A great place if you're looking for a tasty quick light lunch.

I have tried a few of the baguettes, and I would recommend the bamboo charcoal baguette with sardinella gibbosa and cheese. You can have it spicy, but be careful because sometimes they do lay on the chillies, so if you do not want your mouth blown off then make sure you ask them to be light handed.
You can also ask them to leave any of the accompanying ingredients out too, but remember there is a reason why they are in there in the first place.

The baguette is warm and crispy, and the filling is flavoursome, it is definitely good enough to get the taste buds going and creating the desire to have more. The iced lime soda is very refreshing, a perfect drink for a nice sunny hot day.

The shop has seating in the corridor of a mall, but do not worry they have a secret room in the back where you can sit in an air conditioned environment.

A great place to have a baguette with that little extra something.

黑麥芽法包加豬肉多謝$33元,本來想要原味法包但覺得好似太普通,於是揀了黑麥芽法包加豬肉這兩個材料,法包是即叫即烘,所以要等耐少少,個包熱辣辣,很多的麵包店沒有烘熱麵包就用一個冷冰冰的麵包上台,麵包是要熱辣辣才好食,很多香港食店貪方便不烘熱麵包令到味度大打折扣。法包其實很大個,一個己經很飽了,可以當飯食,價錢方面要三十多元一個餐,可以兩個人食,下午茶餐卻有更平宜的選擇,店子很少沒有很強的冷氣,適合外賣多一些!越南法包三文治是一種很有特式的食物,在香港亦唔多地方可以食到,味度唔錯,希望佢地可以繼續做落去啦!

原味法包配豬肉: 法包烘得熱辣鬆脆, 一咬即「剝落」, 結果食到成檯都係碎屑
豬肉係薄切腩肉, 肥比瘦多少少, 質地有點「啫喱糖」feel
, 不過都幾滑溜; 其他配料有 standard 的漬紅蘿蔔絲, 青瓜絲, 洋蔥, 扎肉 etc, 最喜歡的亦繼續係漬紅蘿蔔絲, 清爽又酸酸甜甜, 實在開胃

, 不過食落肉味香, 醬汁亦惹味, 同酸爽蔬菜類配料一齊食, 比豬肉法包更好食.


鵝肝醬法包: 呢個就不及兩份 baguette sandwich 鬆脆; 鵝肝醬唔會係好靚的貨色可以理解, 不過份量又真係少咗 d, 結果只聞其香, 但未嚐其味, 可惜.

飲品跟了凍越式咖啡 (加 $10): 朋友試完「囧」咗
, 我就覺得呢杯接近「疑似芽莊」同類出品的味道 (即係點: http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2057195), 雖然仍然幾苦, 不過越式咖啡嚟講已唔算啃了.

龍眼冰 (好似加 $4) 朋友就話「ok 啦」, 不過輪到我試完「囧」咗, 因為實在好甜.


環境就比較「屈質」, 食完快閃好了.

每人 50 幾蚊埋單, 食物雖然未到「值得專程來試」的地步, 不過嚟講呢頭的話都值得一試的.

山地人這間小店十分迷你,而且坐落於偏僻的內街,如果不是姐姐帶路,我一定中途折返了。它的舖面只有兩個廁格的大小,老闆可能希望客人貴精不貴多吧!哈哈小舖的優點就是有好的品質控制,食品即叫即做。我們三人行每人點了一個廿九元的下午茶餐加一份酸辣雞腳。先說雞腳,味道淡得像膠圈。雖然雞腳已起骨,但汁不夠多且醃的時間過短,我們要拼命椒醬才為它增添味道,廿八元六隻橡皮雞腳只可算是不過不失。茶餐包一杯飲品, 一塊鵝肝醬牛油法包和一個越式法包。 鵝肝醬法包勉強才吃到鵝肝味, 稱它為牛油法包較為貼切。 主角越式法包就相當不錯, 成功予人味覺驚喜。 溫暖的軟法包十分柔軟, 跟一般刮口的法包不同,終於可以盡情運用我的血盤大口了。自選配料可選豬肉,雞肉,牛肉。我選了雞肉。 其配料之多難以數清,有酸甜紅蘿蔔絲,青瓜條,生洋蔥絲, 扎肉,自選雞肉配以少許沙津醬。最意想不到的是它還加了芫茜和蔥段。雖說古怪,但對我這個不偏食的人而言卻覺得味道相當有趣。另外一提的是法包可以選擇加辣椒粒,好辣的朋友不妨一試。最遺憾的是沒有試它的滴漏咖啡,如果還有機會再到砲台山辦事,一定要再試試。

My bun came without carrots (as I requested), but the person taking my order was worried about me and kept warning me that my bun will not taste as good!

We didn't try the bamboo charcoal one this time .... but the black malt bun is VERY GOOD!!!! We even ordered 2 more for take-out for others to try ..... but too bad if just order sandwich and no drink is only $3 less ... ummmm, $32 for a Viet Baguette .... slightly pricey!!!

They also have breakfast and afternoon tea combos ....... so maybe can try those time slots the next time and have other options.

Anyway...

I'm no viet baguette gourmet, but my boyfriend seems to have quite an opinion on them, and he eats here all the time - so that should say something. He's very picky about buns, fillings, the combination of flavours etc., but he is always very satisfied with Aborigine's sandwiches.

The quality is consistent and each sandwich is freshly made-to-order. This means that you also will likely have to wait around 5 minutes for your baguette. Filling consists of a meat choice, pickled veggies, cilantro and mayo.

The resto counter itself is really small and the seating is very limited. Inside can maybe seat 5 and outside there's a fold-out table that seats 2.

Bottom line: Recommended.

接下來吃鵝肝蒜蓉包,比法越式三文治更要熱辣,但說也奇怪,其蒜泥全都放到包身的一角落,其餘的就只有牛油及一丁點點所謂的鵝肝醬,但真的坦白說,我真的吃不到任何的鵝肝味,但不用置疑的是包身很脆,光是當一塊牛油多士吃都不錯。

最後當然要喝咖啡,都是預先加了煉奶,雖然看起來咖啡粉夠多,咖啡也夠深色,但喝起來香味真的偏低,一向喝越南咖啡,都有一種很特別的香味,個人不知怎去形容好了,像是香草,也如雲呢拿的香味,但是日的一杯咖啡喝不到,在未拌勻前喝那口黑咖啡,也都喝不出,可能店家用的都是越南的包裝咖啡吧,要知道新鮮對咖啡來說,是多麼的重要。

怎說也好,味道是不差的,包也是非常之香脆,但似乎在餡料方面,真的是下多點功夫了。

In my ongoing search for great vietnamese rolls in Hong Kong, this shop has been on my list of places to try for a long time now. I finally got to try it and wasn't too disappointed. The bread rolls were very crispy and nice, and well worth a try for themselves. The bread rolls were very crispy and nice, and well worth a try for themselves. It basically doesn't matter what they put inside, the bread is already one of the greatest I've tried in Hong Kong!

The toppings themselves though left something to be desired. Probably a bit too sparse, and talking to the shopkeeper they recognise that, but they do pride themselves on the bread itself, as well they should! I also tried their Foie Gras with Garlic Bread, but this tasted more like just plain garlic bread, so nothing to really write home about.

Overall though, it was a pretty decent banh mi, by Hong Kong standards, and if I'm around the district, and hungry for a snack, I would probably still drop by for a quick bite. The shop is overall very small, but the staff friendly, and although it does take a small wait to get the rolls, the bread definitely makes it worthwhile in the end...

我好鐘意食麵包架所以一直好想試下呢間野。放左學,有D肚餓。唔洗諗就黎左山地人喇~舖頭真係好細好細,去到的時候已經有一個女士坐係度(當初我以為佢食完就走,點知唔係),出面又有一對夫婦同個小朋友係度諗食咩又唔知外賣還是係度食....唉,我排佢地前面架,不過見佢有細路就讓下佢地啦。我對食炭的興趣唔大,之前見食評話個黑麥包又有D甜甜地,所以選擇左最普通的法包。Filling方面叫左我鐘情的肉鬆同雞肉,其實都有D唔識order,因為我唔知除左自選餡料之外,本身都包其他配料例如扎肉、蘿白絲、洋蔥等等。我唔要辣味同走青,order後等左好耐呀,有成十分鐘。正當我行黎行去的時候發現鋪頭旁邊的小商場都擺放左檯同椅,原來都係鋪頭既所以我就係度食喇~個包終於黎喇,分成兩半。好脆呀,又暖暖地,D肉鬆有少少甜,overall都幾好食,不過配料裡面有D生的蔥頭,我就唔係好鐘意,咩都食的男朋友竟然話唔好食。其實我覺得都食得過,如果係附近出沒既,都會再食既,特登既,就唔洗喇。
