呢個炭燒西班牙豬鞍系今晚既重點,雖然系唔系真正炭燒並不知道,因為香港既炭燒牌都相當難攞。但系豬鞍系上菜時已經有非常香既炭燒香味,非常吸引。由於豬鞍質素優質,所以店方反而建議三至五成熟,所以揀五成熟啦(普通豬鞍應該唔可以甘生),豬鞍既肉質好嫩滑,切出黎肉汁仲不斷滴出黎,仲有相當香濃既脂肪包著個豬鞍,整體既肉味非常濃郁,仲好食過牛扒

六成熟既安格斯牛扒同樣有像炭燒一樣既網紋,但系炭燒味反而不及上面既豬鞍。牛扒生熟度岩岩好,切出黎有少許血絲,嫩滑而香濃,肉味雖香但並唔厚實,食過豬鞍後真系念念不忘。

咖啡豆微酸,而且咖啡味道並不香濃,只能說普普通通的即磨咖啡,要求不高的話應可接受。附送既奶可中和咖啡既微酸,加左之後都能夠遮掩一下。愛咖啡的我雖然唔欣賞,但系當作普通餐茶,都還可以。

可能系我唔識欣賞,又或者唔好彩叫到d水準唔高既菜式,見到甘多好評,我比的意見權當參考啦。我同朋友叫左set dinner,有pasta同埋肉扒,兩樣main course都令人失望:肉質稍微粗糙、pasta味道一般。前菜系三文魚沙律同粟米湯,但甜品的朱古力蛋糕同puff,其實味道同系吉之島或者city super買的現成甜品差唔多。反而值得欣賞既系配菜的西蘭花和薯仔、仲有餐廳既音響音質唔錯。

朋友帶我黎呢間餐廳,情調好好,環境寛敞舒適,不過就貴咗啲,可能始終同地段有關,雖然已經係樓上鋪。我地3個人去,點左兩個餐再加小食。湯同麵包都up to standard既。Ribs味道都唔錯,幾好我最愛既意大利飯味道都好,尤其塊三文魚juicy得嚟又唔會太油,不過份量略為小左啲。呢個推介既小食大蝦真係有啲搵笨,百幾蚊,個頭就大啦,肉就無乜,可能我唔識欣賞,但又唔覺得有咩特別。。。甜品都未見有咩驚喜。三個人,只係叫左以上都食左成千銀,除左環境真係唔錯之外,的確唔係太值。

一年一度聖誕節,我們當然有出去慶裡祝之前來過一次,老實說我們還蠻喜歡它們的情調聖誕餐 $628一位(未計加一)餐前小吃 煙肉、松露、新薯塔非常小巧薯塔算鬆脆,薯蓉味重,但食不出有松露味紅菜頭、蘆筍、柑橘,雜菜沙律有配上柑橘的沙律還蠻新鮮的藍芝士撻上面有焦糖紅洋蔥芝士撻很酥脆,但芝士味不濃,失望!傳統烤火雞胸配蜜汁火腿老實說份量真的不多火雞胸做得不錯來得軟腍個人還是比較喜愛下面的雞卷,很滑嫩72度特濃朱古力芝士卷下面更有配一球香草雪糕蛋卷蠻濕潤的,朱古力味也很濃還蠻好食的!價格有點進取,食物也偏少真的來感受這邊的環境跟氣氛不過一年一次沒關係啦~

First improvement, they seemed to have hired more staff and all were attentative and not rushed to push out the food. That made for a much better dining experience.

They had a Christmas menu along with their regular dinner menu. So boyfriend and I decided to order one Christmas menu and one regular dinner set menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. I noticed a small glass of crayons on our table. Apparently, you can use these crayons to write on the paper table mats. Some of these drawings were hung on the walls outside the restaurant.

Daily Appetizer. The daily appetizer was a side of pear salad that I liked quite a bit as I love salad with slices of pear. The daily soup was a cream of pumpkin. Was very creamy and had a strong taste of pumpkin. I noted that the soup was now served in a normal sized bowl and a REAL spoon was given now. The first time I came, I complained how they tried to make it pretty by serviing the soup in a tea cup with a ridiculous small teaspoon that made for a very impractical dining experience. I'm glad for this improvement. I'm all for fancy but please make it practical. Good on them for improving.

Char Grilled Iberico Pork Rack (8 oz). Prior to ordering, the waitress informed us that the chef likes to cook the pork with a bit of pink in the center and if we didn't like it, the chef can cook it to well done. As we were ok with a medium rare pork, we stuck with what the chef preferred and it was good choice as well. The pork was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection with a slightly pink center. It was moist and juicy. Simply perfect. It came with a port wine sauce that was clearly not needed but it was nice anyways. There was side of bacon and cabbage and caramelized apples on the side. The sides were ok. The apples could have done with a hint of spices. Perhaps a dash of nutmeg? But the star was the pork.

Dessert Platter. This was a trio of small desserts that included a brownie with a drizzle of vanilla custard, a choux with vanilla custard and a mini berry pavlova with again the vanilla custard on top. Dessert was fine but nothing  really stood out. I think this appeals to most girls who go on a date, but I'm not your typical Hong Kong girl. The brownie was quite good and chocolatey. I did like the vanilla custard but I think a bit more vanilla would have been appreciated.

I liked the citrus dressing that accompanied the salad. It was light and refreshing. It was a nice mixture of with the beetroot. The caramelized red onion and blue cheese tart was actually just that placced on top of a piece of puff pastry. This was ok. The onions were sweet but there definitely wasn't enugh blue cheese to balance the sweetness. I can't write much about the smoked salmon piece as it was from a package and clearly not home smoked.

Traditional Roasted Turkey with Honey Glazed Ham. This was hearty to look at. It came with roast potatoes, pumpkin, broccoli and brussel sprouts. There was bacon and chestnut stuffing round on the bottom and cranberry sauce. It was layered with a gravy. The turkey wasn't very dry which was good as most places serve dry turkey. The ham was sweet from the honey glaze without being too salty. The stuffing was nice and I liked the addition of chestnut to it.

Chocolate and Cream Cheese Roulode with a Creme Anglaise and Vanilla Ice Cream. The dessert was presented on a pretty plate with stenciled Merry Christmas on it. The roulode was very chocolatey and moist. It was definitely good for those that love chocolate. It went well with the ice cream.

A pleasantly quiet Christmas meal. Service had vastly improved as they were attentative and helpful when questions were asked. Food was good with major points on the pork rack. Would I return? Well, I'd definitely recommend it to friends who want to take a girl out to impress without breaking the bank.

三文魚蟹肉蕃茄意大利飯,還記得當年大肚時超級喜歡吃,魚油豐富,對bb好啊
完美粉紅色的三文魚肉,滿是脂香,皮煎得脆肉薯片,少許香草,齒頰留香。蟹肉也不少的,吃到少許咸咸的海水味,用料果然捨得。意大利飯口感是偏硬的,我覺得口感這回事很個人,自己偏向軟身一點的。

店家另外亦於每一檯放置蠟筆與畫紙舖墊餐桌,好使廚師創作菜餚時,食客亦能創造畫作,發揮小宇宙。筆者與友人畫功拙劣,打算獻醜就不如藏拙。

麵包籃送到,二人急不及待把麵包沾黑醋往嘴裡送,麵包外圍烤得香脆,略帶些微焦黑,伴以黑醋進食感覺很對胃口。

友人點的是Dinner Set Menu中的紅酒汁炭燒美國肉眼扒配薯角,包含前菜、餐湯、甜品拼盤與餐茶;前菜與餐湯分別為煙三文魚凱撒沙律和忌廉湯,感覺未見印象深刻,屬中等水平。主菜則另人喜出望外,肉眼扒表面不會乾身,肉質夠淋,Medium Rare 生熟程度使肉汁與血水鎖住,每一口都很Juicy,優質食材沒有被浪費。甜品拼盤以三小件的甜品呈現,由右至左淡口味的吃至重口味的,其中以最後的香厚濃郁的朱古力甜品令友人相當稱心滿意。

筆者則選擇Christmas Dinner Menu,主菜配合節日,為傳統烤火雞胸配蜜汁火腿。

前菜為煙肉、松露、新薯塔,這類近乎一口大小的前菜於市面愈見盛行,把不同食材組合大玩mix & match,而這道前菜則做到了味道配合之餘,於口感上更見不同口感層次相互配合,其中煙肉與松露的味道豐郁,一口過後仍於口腔迴盪。

洋蔥湯出場,筆者老實說賣相不討好,嘗一口卻了解其內涵,洋蔥預炒過再與肉骨烹煮,味道香甜,而且洋蔥就是主角,整碗湯都是洋蔥絲,伴以格魯耶爾芝士多士品嘗,不會使洋蔥湯顯得孤寡。

刁草醃三文魚、柑橘、紅菜頭、蘆筍和雜菜沙律與友人點的套餐中的煙三文魚凱撒沙律感覺大致相同,不過不失,同一個餐盤上,作為鄰居的焦糖紅洋蔥、藍芝士撻卻為筆者帶來新鮮感,以焦糖料理過的洋蔥絲舖設於芝士撻上,撻皮質地薄脆,核心芝士味道細膩不俗。

見到open rice咁多好評,諗住一試,點知失望!服務又差!坐低後,叫咗個高大肥女人叫兩杯暖水先,點知佢拋下一句(即係水喉水啦)然後走咗去!好啦我哋叫咗一個三文魚set同牛尾湯,好淡,好似飲水咁三文魚又羶又唔夠味牛尾,正常唔難食餐包,似隔夜麵包
