興化炒米粉 $79

材料十足,有蝦,蜆,豬肉,花生,紫菜等等。所用的米粉十分幼身,雖然是炒米粉,但感覺更似炆米,米粉入口軟熟,又帶少許濕的感覺。

想不到單單紫菜已經可以做出多種不同餸菜,這個米之蓮新貴果然名不虛傳。

九轉小腸爽口沒有肥膩感

熱騰騰的紫菜煎很香脆

紫菜配煎蛋還是第一次吃呢

鹵麵湯底是糊糊的

比較像是台灣的口味

再追加一份一品海蠣煎

說穿了就是蠔餅

蛋漿炸得十分香脆而且蛋香味濃郁

這一個夜晚就在閩南風情間徐徐渡過

有餸怎能没有湯呢,我最後點了一款頭水紫菜牡蠣湯,牡蠣新鮮鮮甜,加上大量的紫菜同煮,味道當然不能與祡菜四寶湯去比。


一次過吃了這麽多的紫菜,最终都是希望父的膽固醇指數能降下去,到時又可以與我到處去吃貨,豐盛人生。

The snacks provided is also seaweed-themed - Fried seaweed and peanuts, it tasted like those high quality deep fried Japanese seaweed with a good seawater flavour. 
And some Thai inspired spicy sauce is also provided for you to add an extra kick to your dishes.

Seaweed with mini shrimps $52
A cold starter comes with this delicate seaweed with some tiny miny shrimps hidding in black matter. The seaweed has been marinated in light vinegar, a super appetising delightful light starter to share with friends because seaweed can get pretty filling if you eat too much of it. The tiny shrimps are super small but still flavourful, giving an extra seafood taste to the savoury and slightly sour soft seaweed! 
Besides, the size is also not too bad for $52!

Braised pig intestine $78
The plate has been actually heated with a tealight underneath, the pig intestine has been prepared using a very traditional method creating that multi-layered texture. It is very tender and and marination has been well absorbed by each layer of the pig intestine, most importantly, it is not oily and it is not filled with chunks of fat in the middle! I just loved it!

Seaweed Omelette $68
Again, it is suprisingly good, the seaweed is super soft in the middle of the moist egg omelette. The middle part of the omelette is moist but both sides are very crispy with a crunch to it! It is not too savoury and it has a very unique flavour after being filled with seaweed. I would never imagine this generous among of seaweed would actually work with egg! But tbh, it is best to enjoy with some rice for better enjoyment.

Tenderness is the key to this dish. The fresh yellow croaker is stewed with ginger precisely within 100 seconds, this light yet appetising dish is a top choice for the healthy palates. The croaker is also not fishy so it's suitable for kids too! Just be careful of the very tiny fishbones! The skin is very crispy and the flesh is very tender, so the whole thing is just scrumptious!

Meizhu claypot rice with seaweed $88
Lastly, a very hot claypot of stewed rice has been brought to us. The sort of wet stewed is surprisingly stick in texture. We were told that Japanese pearl rice is used during the pan fried process therefore it is a bit more stickier than using Thai / Chinese rice. The very hot rice is moist yet it would not stick to the claypot. The kind of like sticky rice texture is not as filling as sticky rice which I liked. 

The rice has an aromatic seaweed and some pork flavour, a perfect compliment with the seaweed pancake or the cold seaweed with mini shrimp dish! 

p.s. keep the claypot lid so that the temperature of rice can be kept better

Overall, it is a much better dining experience than we expected, everything is delicious. As a seaweed lover, I just found it very healthy and great way to enjoy a relaxing lunch with family during the weekend! I will be back to try some of their non-seaweed dishes next time!
