還想帶媽咪亞爸一家人去食下法國餐. 因為自己也會下廚做西菜的. 喜歡做不同國家的菜式, 而法國菜乃是工夫菜, 做過幾次都怕怕, 不如比錢去食好過了!去到, 環境都吾錯. 枱與枱之間的距離不太近, ok的. 因為我們有六人, 而只有一款set dinner實在太單調, 於是散叫頭盆及主菜.頭盆叫了兩個三色鵝肝(因為吾夠食), 另鴨胸雲吞. 這幾個都ok的. 到這裡仍可感受到法式食品, 可能是由於鵝肝及鴨胸的原故!而主菜, 海鮮方面只叫了一味魚. 當一個西餐都還可以. 因為已經無幾法國風味!肉類方面, 在menu的(除了一味羊以外)全部都叫, 因為只得4,5個選擇. 可是, 只有安格司牛及鴨肉是可以的. 而味道真是一般西式口味, 即是沒有法式香料的氣息!我們還order了一些甜品, 其中個朱古力味疏乎利, 幾好! 其實, 我們並未吃飽, 但已覺得不如到其他地方食宵夜或加多次甜品時刻.

去到, 環境都吾錯. 枱與枱之間的距離不太近, ok的.

因為我們有六人, 而只有一款set dinner實在太單調, 於是散叫頭盆及主菜.

頭盆叫了兩個三色鵝肝(因為吾夠食), 另鴨胸雲吞. 這幾個都ok的. 到這裡仍可感受到法式食品, 可能是由於鵝肝及鴨胸的原故!

而主菜, 海鮮方面只叫了一味魚. 當一個西餐都還可以. 因為已經無幾法國風味!

肉類方面, 在menu的(除了一味羊以外)全部都叫, 因為只得4,5個選擇. 可是, 只有安格司牛及鴨肉是可以的. 而味道真是一般西式口味, 即是沒有法式香料的氣息!

我們還order了一些甜品, 其中個朱古力味疏乎利, 幾好!

其實, 我們並未吃飽, 但已覺得不如到其他地方食宵夜或加多次甜品時刻.

My husband is a member of Park Lane Hotel Prestige Club for 2+ years. I’ve been to Riva for 10+ times and I used to enjoy its Semi-Buffet Lunch. But today, Riva had let me down totally. Appetizers:
(i) Cream of Spinach Soup – it was warm and very much diluted & liquidized;

(iv) Seafood & Sashimi – In the past 2 yrs, Riva serves oysters, herring (希靈魚); Squid (蟹子烏賊); spiral shells (榮螺); salmon, tuna; octopus; mini lobster, mussels and smoke salmon. But today, no oysters, 希靈魚; 蟹子烏賊 and 榮螺.

Main Courses:
(i) Snails in tempura batter: Snails were tender but tasteless;
(ii) Grilled beef tenderloin: Nicely done, but in very small portion (2 pieces of beef were like thick slices of lemon).
Deserts:
(i) Chesse-cake – Served only ONE type of chesse-cake which the based was made with Oreo (we are not at kindergarten ….. why Oreo);
(ii) Mint Chocolate Chips Pudding – it serves like Bread & Butter Pudding, and I guess Riva was very brave to have such BOLD idea;
(iii) Chocolate Mousse Cake and Häagen-Dazs ice-cream (vanilla; chocolate, raspberry & green tea) – they were the best and only choice.
Services:
We didn’t talk to the manager about our dissatisfaction; as they were too busy serving & clearing a large table (around 20ppl). At one point, we had 3 empty plates & 2 empty bowls on our table uncleared.

PS: other than the above-mentioned, there were other Appetizers, Main Courses & Deserts to choose from, and I can only tell you what I had.
Since my husband is a member the lunch cost us only around HK$280 (for two), but with this kind of food & service, it really take a lot of courage to come back and try Riva again.

想要一個澱粉質的主食,那個意大利飯唔吸引,經理可以幫我們special order 一個Carbonara,如當白汁蘑菇意粉就會好高分,雖然醬汁好較杰身,但味道好濃、意粉彈牙、蘑菇夠香,可借沒有芝士及蛋香,稱不上Carbonara。這個簡單的意粉,自家做不需30分鍾可以完成,埋單才知道要$228,竟與煎三文魚一樣價錢。

由於好友已食不下甜品,唯有我一人獨食,當然揀的是朱古力,名稱不太記得。碟上所有都是朱古力製成品,墊底的紅色方塊都是朱古力;有Valrhona朱古力蛋糕,不用多說valrhona來做甜品,一定是香濃無比,質感很細膩,加了幾片金箔增添高雅貴氣;可可雪芭有別一般雪芭,質地也很幼滑、味道一樣濃郁滋味。

賣點是眺望兩岸景致,食物一般,不致叫好,唯獨HSBC及恆生有8折。

如有會員discount則超值(約one guest for free), 如無折扣(約$750 一位)則略貴.

主菜又是點了牛扒,份量相當巨大,還好是兩個人share。牛扒多汁柔軟,比日航好睇唔好食優勝,但其實最美味是那個yorkshire pudding,充滿牛油香,比lawry’s的更好吃!
 
甜品種類與味道都差過日航好多,但勝在有haagen dazs任筆:自己筆雪糕一來好玩,二來可以隨意添加朱古力、士多啤梨、焦糖醬,確是一大賣點;我很喜歡belgian chocolate與tiramisu,前後筆了三次;龍亦不甘示弱,勁食lemon sorbet,最後我們總共食了12球雪糕,全餐最滿足莫過於此!!如果不是病未全癒,我可能還會吃多兩球呢...
 
最後,怕咳沒點熱咖啡,改要凍朱古力,很甜很美味,不過凍飲不能多飲,只可淺嚐即止。沒關係啦,其實已經很開心很滿足了,五月再找酒店食過啦!

為慶祝朋友的生日,朋友便選擇了這餐廳,聽聞她在這裡所有食物有半價優惠。到此餐廳食晚餐,算是新鮮的嘗試。服務方面,我倆被安排坐在窗旁的座位,服務員逕自走到我們旁介紹不同菜式提點,及問我們有沒有什麼喜好,感到服務員態度幾友善。環境方面,燈光悠和,有鋼琴伴奏,最緊要是望出窗外,維多利亞港和九龍半島的夜景一覽無遺,這是這餐廳最值錢的地方。絕對是一般酒店的優雅格局。食物方面,不過不失吧!我們吃了是肉眼扒和龍月利柳,味道不錯但沒什麼驚喜。反而我比較喜歡dessert和前菜。價錢方面,原價$598的晚餐很貴,但吃法國菜也平不到什麼地方吧,幸好朋友有半價優惠,以致二人共吃了七百多元,好比一般酒店自助餐價錢。但若是付出原價,我就認為不值得了。幸好朋友也十分喜歡這一晚餐,算是價錢計算不到的。

想找個有海景的西餐廳食飯,選這裡是因為相信酒店的服務與質素。order兩個set dinner,侍應問我地要不要開支水,之後經理又再問一次,我見餐廳入面有幾都開了,我地就開了一支,埋單睇番價錢支水好以要六十幾。講番個set dinner:麵包籃的麵包唔熱,有點硬頭盤有鮮露荀,好以用牛油煮,感覺上太油。仲有一客酒煮蜆,不過部份有沙,味道還可以。主菜二選一,有羊架同煎魚,我地一人一個。羊架order5成熟,煮得剛剛好,係set dinner裡面最好食既。煎魚就煮到好乾,而且太少汁。甜品係熟蘋果放係件cake上面再加焦糖汁,仲有個蘋果雪葩係側邊。雪葩ok,不過個"蘋果批"我就唔太鐘意。coffee or tea環境唔錯,不過夜d人多有少少嘈。service就冇乜出錯,不過都唔覺有乜服務可以加分。整體而言如果以呢個價錢有更好的選擇。

上兩個星期同bf去Riva,可能已經9點,有好多位剩,個waitress給了窗口位我們,個夜景真係好靚,仲有人現場彈琴!食物方面崔(唔好意思,d菜名真係唔記得)~~麵包: 唔掂,又凍又唔好食,麵包鋪d仲好d,起碼新鮮熱辣!沙律: 一份鴨胸菜沙律,一份煙三文魚菜沙律。鴨胸同煙三文魚都勁好味,貴野果然唔同d。主菜: 一份牛,一份魚。2個都唔錯,牛ge 6 成熟剛剛好,好有牛味!魚好滑,個汁好好味,所以連d配菜都好好食!甜品: 朱古力慕絲加serbat(好似係青檸,但唔肯定),個賣相又靚又好味,成個餐我最中意的一個!整體唔錯,不過美中不足就係d麵包,好彩我唔多like食包包姐!但如果可以改善,就加分不小!每個set $418 加一。

Went there for dinner this week. Although the view was nice, the food was really average. We ordered a set dinner which consisted of scallop salad, ravioli in broth, surf and turf and a pastry like dessert. The scallop salad was average; I had a similar dish at Cru and it was miles better. The ravioli in broth was a joke - it was exactly like the Chinese "koon tong gaau" without the grease. The surf and turf was good - the prawn was tasty and the steak was tender and juicy - all in all perfectly

The scallop salad was average; I had a similar dish at Cru and it was miles better. The ravioli in broth was a joke - it was exactly like the Chinese "koon tong gaau" without the grease. The surf and turf was good - the prawn was tasty and the steak was tender and juicy - all in all perfectly cooked. The dessert wasn't my cup of tea - it was some sort of pastry with fruit with lemon sorbet on the side. Liked the sorbet - would rather just have the sorbet on its own. The coffee was good though.

When it comes to service, there is certainly room for improvement. Their waiters seemed inexperienced and the two managers, though polite, weren't exactly attentive.

I wondered wether the food from the a la carte menu would be better. If I ever go back to Riva, I'll definitely avoid their dinner set!

As a restaurant in a 5 star hotel, I must say the overall eperience has been disappointing, and the food definitely does not worth the price they charge.

The food was average,not bad by CWB standard. There is a great view, live music, casual but not noisy. Great for a quiet dinner for 2 or family gathering.Too bad if this is gone, heard the hotel is up for sale for redevlopment.

很久沒有到柏寧酒店27/F 吃飯, 此餐廳已裝修了好幾次,RIVA開業以來都是第一次去光顧. 我的FAVOUR是煎鵝肝, 於是APPETISE點了鵝肝, 老公點了青豆湯,MAIN COURSE點了FILET STEAK和LAMBCHOP. 我相信他們的CHEF已更換故味道與以前的有很大出入, 因老公勁投訴牛扒是雪藏品, 我的LAMBCHOP好大機會也是同一來源, 淡中無味道.口感也不太好, 所以我們沒有點DERSERT便離開, 但值得一提是SINGER的水準仍然可以. 為何酒店的食物水準下降到這種地步?

,裡面的cheese帶酸。Mini Fruit Tarts賣相精緻
,生果滲過糖水,味道有點假。這裡亦有提供應節
的煎年糕,但我們沒吃。

整體上是一個good experience,服務亦很好,環境闊落舒適,是令人吃得盡興的一餐。
