昨晚和幾個朋友一起吃晚餐,共點了三款主菜,兩款小吃。分別是醃篤筍,辣炒肉碎年糕,獅子頭,葱油餅,高力豆沙。最值得推介的是辣炒肉碎年糕,開初食的時候覺得好香,又夠哂野味,而且越吃越有麻辣的感覺,正👍其他幾款食物都中規中矩,而最令我失望的是高力豆沙,不夠熱,豆沙又不夠綿不夠軟熟,而且香蕉同豆沙是分離的, 可惜😓

The price is quite pricey in terms of dining in that area.

With caloric constraints, I chose this Shanghai bistro for a quick dinner. The staff were quite conscientious and duly informed all patrons that air-con would be off half an hour before closing time. Had "imitation crab" which was de facto scrambled egg white mixed with milk and fish - the chef was slightly too heavy handed with the vinegar. The wanton noodles did not disappoint though, the wantons were fresh and the noodles were soft but al dente. This was fair for a total of $150.

上海婆婆給人一點也不老的感覺,相反有集摩登與懷舊於一身之感。這種強烈對比並存的特色既在店子的裝潢裏浮現,同時亦反映在其傳統中帶創新的菜式中。以頭盤魚籽煙燻蛋為例,加進了名貴黑魚籽的煙燻蛋頓時升格了。蛋黃做到流心固然吸引,可是個人不大喜歡煙燻帶焦炭味的濃重氣味,基本上都把魚籽的味道全蓋過了。其他幾款上海菜的大路款式都很讚,比較令人喜出望外的是炒年糕。賣相平平無奇,用料簡簡單單,年糕只是與切碎了的椰菜和肉絲炒在一起,但每種材料都炒得很夠火喉,軟硬適中,年糕口感尤其煙靭有勁,咀嚼起來很有咬口,加上味道香濃的醬汁均勻地分佈在每一塊年糕片上,每口都能嚐到潤滑的咸香滋味。另一必嚐菜式是擔擔麵,主要是以湯汁取勝,令本身幼幼而彈牙的麵條掛滿了湯汁,花生醬亦完全溶進了湯底中,不會出現過於濃稠的口感。醉雞不是什麼新菜式,這次特意選了這款較有創意的菜式冰鎮醉黃油雞,賣相的確很能引起食慾,冰涼清爽,加上養生的杞子,令菜式明亮奪目。味道方面,冰鎮了的花雕酒顆粒稍大和硬,如能刨成沙冰狀相信口感會更細緻。雞肉不算嫩滑,整體來說味道未能令人留下深刻印象。小籠包是水準穩當的小點,如預期沒令人失望,皮薄餡靚而肉汁豐富。待

其他幾款上海菜的大路款式都很讚,比較令人喜出望外的是炒年糕。賣相平平無奇,用料簡簡單單,年糕只是與切碎了的椰菜和肉絲炒在一起,但每種材料都炒得很夠火喉,軟硬適中,年糕口感尤其煙靭有勁,咀嚼起來很有咬口,加上味道香濃的醬汁均勻地分佈在每一塊年糕片上,每口都能嚐到潤滑的咸香滋味。

另一必嚐菜式是擔擔麵,主要是以湯汁取勝,令本身幼幼而彈牙的麵條掛滿了湯汁,花生醬亦完全溶進了湯底中,不會出現過於濃稠的口感。

醉雞不是什麼新菜式,這次特意選了這款較有創意的菜式冰鎮醉黃油雞,賣相的確很能引起食慾,冰涼清爽,加上養生的杞子,令菜式明亮奪目。味道方面,冰鎮了的花雕酒顆粒稍大和硬,如能刨成沙冰狀相信口感會更細緻。雞肉不算嫩滑,整體來說味道未能令人留下深刻印象。

待到最後才來一客一人份的酸辣湯,因為怕吃後會嚐不清其他相對較清淡菜式的味道。想不到份量也不小,足夠三人各自吃上一小碗,材料豐富鮮甜,湯底酸度剛好。欣賞每種配料如肉末、木耳、豆乾等都切得很勻稱,連蛋花也弄得綿密,是需要花點功夫和心力做的湯品。

甜品是上海菜的指定動作吧。由於吃到很飽的關係,就來個淡淡的甜品,酒釀的丸子煙韌無比,酒不算濃,混合了的味道很清新,為晚飯作一個完美的句號。

哀傷的心情還是那樣,吃著都是你喜歡的,就如一口娑婆茶,想洗脱的是你和我的記憶,舊記憶,講不出有多重,時刻隱隱作痛,常無意中觸碰。我極力忘記你,卻因為一餐美味的上海菜而將舊日美好的記憶全拿回來。

常說五味是人生的必經階段,我今天的味覺全因你而起。如果有一杯娑婆茶給我渴,我一定會拒絕,因為再回想起這些又甜又美好的回憶,我不想將他們交給娑婆,告別娑婆,換來的是放下執著。
