鍾意食叉燒的我看到新園位列米芝蓮榜單,特地去嘗一嘗。之前看到食評說晚餐時段去已有一些種類的燒臘賣光,所以特地週末中午去,不想專門跑一趟還要錯過自己的最愛。下午2點多到,希望避開人潮。果然,到時店內不太多人,找個位置坐下,要了最喜歡的叉燒燒鴨飯。叉燒有肥有瘦,贊!軟硬適中,有嚼頭但不會太爛,很惹味。燒鴨外皮很脆,鴨肉酥嫩,只是這隻鴨對我偏肥了一點點(是我的問題,不是鴨的問題)。送的紅蘿蔔湯都不錯,一股清甜的味道。總的來說,燒味的味道還是很好的,非常地道的港式燒味。從表面看,這就是一家非常普通的燒臘店,環境一般,衛生一般,服務正常,食物常規,似乎沒有任何特別之處。但在店內用餐的短短二十來分鐘,來買整只雞、鴨、鵝和其他燒臘的客人絡繹不絕,油雞中午已經賣完。很明顯,幫襯的多數是周圍街坊,中老年的常客居多,多數不是堂食,都是買回家當餸的。雖然我也看到外面玻璃有貼米芝蓮的標記,但我想這些老主顧才不會在乎這個吧。一家普通的燒臘店,多年提供美味的食物,對於普通老百姓,這已經足夠了。就個人口味而言,我更喜歡灣仔廣東燒味餐廳的叉燒(更加甜一點),如果不是路過,我可能不會再專程過來吃,但是,當你已經成為一群

油雞燒鴨飯 $26: 5分, 相對來講, 油雞是更另人失望, 先是斬得太碎, 好多碎骨, 雞肉好乾, 不夠嫩滑. 燒鴨的皮也不脆, 肉就還可以, 不會死實實的, 帶點肉味, 起碼比油雞較易入口.

Although I do generally agree with how Michelin recommends certain Chinese restaurants within the HK & Macau region, I do sometimes think they're still a bit green when it comes to rating local street food, other than the bigger restaurants - especially the hotel based restaurants.

The true name of here is 新園興記燒臘店, a place I've been a couple of times. They do a pretty decent Poached Chicken, but that's about it. The Roast Pork skin wasn't even crispened up yet, and the Char Siu is under-grilled and not sophisticated in marination. The daily soup was super salty, you better bring a spare Kidney.

It is not cheap either!!

因為酒席既乳豬大多有一層好厚既肥肉,再加超薄既乳豬肉,而表皮脆唔脆…就睇你運數喇!
所以,食燒味飯,我真係好少會揀乳豬。但眼見呢度既乳豬,令我對乳豬有新既睇法!呢度既乳豬,皮脆不在話下,脂肪層好薄,但肉層好厚同肉爽!
加少少甜甜既乳豬醬,一塊接一塊!

半肥瘦叉燒:可能燒腩及乳豬乃餐廳既 "鎮店之寶",相比下叉燒真係略為遜色一點。但值得一讚係,幾多間餐廳會係lunch time時,真係比到半肥瘦叉燒你?
可能掛住試燒腩同乳豬,叉燒變得有點凍了,令味道再為遜色。
下次要係餐廳堂食多次半肥瘦叉燒,試真d再評論!


紅腸:只係我既情意結,好鍾意食紅腸先點!可以不理!


後記:於等外賣期間,同友人閒談關於餐廳既背境同最近被列入米芝連推介既威水史,發現餐廳由家族父傳子,世世代代所經營,見店內年老既爸爸,年青既子女,一家人一起忙碌。到呢代,仲有米芝連推介既機會!頓時覺得呢個米芝連推介份外窩心!
餐廳無美輪美奐既裝潢,無名廚名咀既support,吸引既係果份穩打穩紮既味道同精神。呢個圓圓既米芝連推介貼紙,既回報了上一代既身酸血汗史,亦肯定了呢一代既努力積極保持既精神!
加上,餐廳賣既係燒味,好地道既廣東食品,份外多一種親切之感。


總括而言:燒腩及乳豬果真餐廳既 "鎮店之寶"!惟外賣回家食,略嫌飯同燒味唔夠熱,下次一定要係餐廳堂食,食清楚當中既各種"味道"!

這家館子在2011年版米芝蓮上有提名(但沒有星),去吃了一趟,感覺甚是一般。再次證明米芝蓮的洋人編輯只配評點五星酒店裏的五星餐廳,而對於這類尋常小館,品評其優劣需要真實細膩的品嘗功夫,洋鬼子的評點自然就很難信賴。這家館子主要賣燒味,一盤叉燒切雞雙拼飯,飯很硬,叉燒更硬,雞也沒有特別的鮮味。送一碗例湯,桌子上放著茶壺隨便倒。中午時候去,居然爆滿,十之八九是藍領層的憤中憤青,座位間空隙很小,所以喝湯時一定要小心,湯勺舉到半空時,很可能背後有大叔經過撞你肩膀一下,讓湯水進了你的脖領。招呼得還算勤快,老侍應七八十歲的樣子,讓人感動。另外價錢很便宜,吃一頓不到三十塊,在這通脹年代,是填飽肚子的好去處。

新園都有成兩年無人寫過食評,同這店平日嘅生意額形成強烈對比,唔係執咗無人報,其實平日家中斬料都好多時會去新園買。 今日下午行經它,見到門外標着每日二時半後,叉燒、燒鴨瀨粉特價十四蚊,剛好有點餓,便走入去食番碗,新園做生意老實,不會橈鴨當燒鵝賣。 店中沒有飲品,但有免費茶水奉客,由於周未沒有客,伙記很快便送來燒鴨瀨粉,份量大過普通飯碗,燒鴨比快餐店的燒鴨瀨茶餐多許多,特價也不是俾啲頭頭尾尾下欄部位,十四蚊食飽飽真抵食。

新園都有成兩年無人寫過食評,同這店平日嘅生意額形成強烈對比,唔係執咗無人報,其實平日家中斬料都好多時會去新園買。 今日下午行經它,見到門外標着每日二時半後,叉燒、燒鴨瀨粉特價十四蚊,剛好有點餓,便走入去食番碗,新園做生意老實,不會橈鴨當燒鵝賣。 店中沒有飲品,但有免費茶水奉客,由於周未沒有客,伙記很快便送來燒鴨瀨粉,份量大過普通飯碗,燒鴨比快餐店的燒鴨瀨茶餐多許多,特價也不是俾啲頭頭尾尾下欄部位,十四蚊食飽飽真抵食。

中午, 繼續為燒臘而尋, 記得幾年前, 星期六好Free咁行完上環後山舊區, 落山食左碟好美味的叉雞飯. 今日同事有約, 一個人, 特地走來, 同上次一樣叉雞飯.人很多, 就算一個人, 都要等下位, 現場伙記左閃右避, 唔好倒瀉湯. 叉燒肥瘦適中, 切雞香滑可口. 加上個慈油, 非常美味. 上環街市選擇咁多, 好生意果然有道理. 一出門口, 等外賣的人滿街, 同掛住的燒臘影了張相, 果然燒得好靚

星期三, 雖是毛毛雨, 凍凍的, 但我也行過來上環, 試試老爸讚好的燒味店.地點在大馬路, 不難找.一點鐘, 以為要排隊等入去, 原來出面條隊係等外賣, 同再興真係有得揮!嘩! 上環燒味外賣都要等, 我都未聽過.入到去, 人頭湧湧, 好難才找到個位.要了個燒肉切雞飯, 叫左先知原來係送例湯, 是菜乾湯呢! 味道清甜冇味精, 好味!燒肉切雞飯等左一陣先至到, 燒肉肥瘦之間, 個皮都幾脆, 切雞雞胸較多, 但唔鞋, ok 喎!而飯都唔少, 女士們就可以要碗, 仲未兩蚊添.$24, 頗平, 難怪其門如市的.p.s.再看食評原來只得兩個, 還是幾年的貨仔, 不過上環區平價, 呢間食得過, 好過上熟食檔食油煙.

燒味雙拼午餐飯盒才$20﹐當然不是什麼高超質數﹐不過份量足﹐味道ok﹐飯又不會太“淋”﹐算是不錯的了。要了燒肉和切雞雙拼﹐燒肉肥瘦適中﹐不過瘦肉部份太鹹了點﹐雞肉是雞胸肉﹐雖然沒有濃厚的雞味﹐總算厚肉和嫩滑。公司附近沒有什麼好質數的燒臘鋪﹐突然想吃燒味﹐非這間莫屬的了。

一日行經呢度,見有禾花雀賣,明知賣相不對路都買了半打來吃。禾花雀掃上蜜汁再燒一燒,當然吃不到真味,吃起上來骨頭少少硬,也有渣。呢度雖然味道麻麻,但起碼都叫有得供應,32蚊半打唔係貴,講真好多人做左幾十年人都唔知禾花雀係咩味道。SARS加埋環境保護的壓力下,而家已經好難搵到禾花雀。看來是沒有辦法食番呢味野,以前的上湯焗禾花雀係同大閘蟹或蛇羹一齊食的。

要趕圖俾個客做presentation,到兩點幾至食得飯,諗住來這裡快快手手搞掂。呢度的燒臘是自家製,品質應有保證。<br />一般燒臘飯22蚊,乳豬同燒腩零零舍舍26蚊,對燒臘舖的乳豬沒有好感,所以就要了個燒腩飯加咸蛋。燒腩係豬肋骨前後的部份,皮脆、肥廋相間又不太咸,個人覺得絕對比乳豬有肉味同好食。兩點過後仲送例湯,雖然不是什麼好料,但都叫有好處。<br />
