由細去到大的太平館, 所以今次吾再介紹例牌的招牌菜式. 今日下午茶時間, 想飲個湯, 所以想起這店. 一入去坐低即刻叫個"雞蓉燕窩湯". 哈哈, 你一定估吾到太平館會有燕窩湯飲的呢.....呢個湯係好多年前有人介紹我飲的. 燕窩同雞蓉的份量剛剛好, 不會只食到雞而食不到燕窩.當然這個下午茶的價錢不會是二十, 三十蚊. 但當你試過後, 你就會知是值得的. 仲有個又熱又軟熟的餐包呢.

近排在沒有刻意安排的情況下去了幾間懷舊的食肆,如祥興、皇后飯店,今次就去了太平館。對這些歷史悠久的食肆不是太偏愛,但總有一種似遠還近的感覺。到太平館食飯,來來去去都係個幾味,所以想也不用想,就要一份二人套餐。揀龍蝦湯、瑞士雞翼和干炒牛河。龍蝦湯好濃味,龍蝦肉的份量亦不算少,不過肉質較差,朋友要點辣椒醬來吃。干牛河主要好在河粉炒得夠入味,牛肉則只是普通貨色。至於最出名的瑞士雞翼,也只是個醬汁做得好,夠香夠濃。主菜後的蛋糕款式好耐沒有食過,真係好有懷舊feel。有想過點一份梳乎利,但梳乎利的份量實在太大,最終放棄。收咁貴既價錢,買牛河和雞翼等平價貨,毛利有冇9分呢?

我本人點了蝦沙律,味道還可以, 餐館用了甜沙律醬配蔬菜,加蝦3只,總體配合的不錯,味道也可口,是ㄧ個不錯的冷盤

太平館瑞士汁雞翅膀,聽說是餐館的特色菜,無疑雞翅膀的確很嫩,肉很滑,不過瑞士汁入不了味,如果弄開雞皮而吃肉的話,就是淡而無味,如同你去燒烤,那些燒烤扒沒有進味的那種感覺,所以就算瑞士汁如何好吃但是弄成這樣的話,真是有點有點敗筆之作.

太平館乾抄牛河(或肉片),我們選了用肉片代替牛肉,總體感覺很不錯,首先,河粉基本上都是分開的,沒有一小堆黏在一塊兒,出現純白的河粉,每條都很入味,而且肉片也很嫩,鮮,雖加了豆角,但還是減不了油膩的感覺。

甜品是草莓味果凍(有淡奶)兩者配合的不錯,果凍也沒有果凍粉的味道

套餐價格269+10%服務費
總數:295元(兩人收費)

總結:
如果說情調,懷舊的氣氛,那裡的確很不錯,環境很乾淨,服務員的態度還算可以,不過用價錢來很衡量的話

一人150元左右
太貴了!!!


後記:
在我來說,我偏重於食物的味道,聽說該餐館的瑞士汁雞翅膀很馳名,那我就覺得這次我吃不出它的馳名原因。

以份量來說,這頓兩人套餐,其實也是剛剛好滿足我和朋友的需求。但我個人覺得,對於兩個比較餓的人來吃這頓飯,可能就有點不夠了(我知道每個人的食量,各有不同)。

我覺得我們付出的這個價錢是一個偏高的價錢來享受它的名氣。

如果各位想吃便宜點的話,本人還是建議散叫套餐,價錢適中,份量也不會少,大家也可以互相分享

再來一次太平館。這次是有友人聽我說試了特大梳乎里,因此令她也想一試,於是唯有去多次了。這次點了窩蛋免牛飯、蒜蓉炒時蔬(要了菜心和西蘭花),瑞士汁雞翼及特大梳乎里。窩蛋免牛飯的味道感覺上和其他食店的有點不同,而且算是太平館比較便宜的一道主食啦(可改煎蛋)。蒜蓉炒時蔬的蒜蓉味不是太出,因此略嫌不夠香。但菜蔬卻是蠻新鮮的,很爽口。瑞士汁雞翼真的有點貴,但是招牌菜嘛(而且那麼有名),沒辦法啦。味道真的不錯,很夠甜很濃郁,而且盛得很滿。特大梳乎里和上次的一樣。可是正因為和上次的一樣,味道毫無驚喜。因此這次吃便覺得不太好吃了。這餐館對我來說,試過便夠了。當然如果還有其他友人想我一起去的話,我也不會抗拒的。

去太平館食野,算唔算係集體回憶呢?兩個人,叫了佢個二人餐,一個飲seafood bisque,一個要沙律.兩樣味道中規中距,不錯.主菜是干炒牛河同燒乳鴿.燒乳鴿仍然好味,但我覺得個干炒牛河才是主角,炒得夠香,干身,鼓油完全上晒D河粉度,但不鹹,而且略帶甜味,用了一些切短的豆角去炒,味道加了一份清新感覺.個餐仲有甜品或餐飲,但麻麻地.好彩不算太肚餓,都算夠食.

Been coming here since the late '50s, know the captains, hence great service. This one is by far the best out of all the others with the same name, worst being the one in Stanley Street, Central.

Try "clear chicken mushroom soup" at dinnertime (never at lunchtime). It gives an appetising lingering aftertaste, could be due to their kind of msg, but they insist it's the ingredients in the soupbase. It's been 'consistent' for the last 40 or so years in my experience, and that's an accomplishment alone for any restaurant...'consistency'. Incidentally you can order toast in place of the roll with soups, IF you ask nicely.

But then again, like I always say, restrooms being part and parcel of any eatery, the ones here have been 'consistently' way below par all these years, so cleanliness marks have to be deducted.

Prices a bit on the high side, depending what you order, stick to the set menu for great value.

昨天2pm經過白沙道,本來係食隔離的過橋米線,但未有位亞姐就比定將發票單我,野食都未點(我一定o係度食嗎??)...D野係好味既點會驚我唔等...過左next door的太平館,其實都係要等,不過就有西裝伯伯(白晒頭髮的)幫我地登記,約10min後有位。2人都叫左set lunch:瑞士雞亦& 燒豬脾。先來忌廉湯&餐包,跟一舊溫拿牌牛油。一試之下真不得了,講緊係舊牛油,好味到o丫...yum...如此普通的包包立刻變成極品!雞亦要等,一齊來啦,之前未食過燒豬脾以為會係好似燒豬手般乾身,原來有汁,肉亦好諗,very good~雞亦新鮮肉嫩,非常好味。驟眼看兩款汁都是差唔多,黑mun mun,分別就係瑞士汁比較甜,燒豬脾汁就較鮮~Coffee or Tea,$68+10%

3) 豬肶飯- 不好吃! 全晚最唔掂, 又"鞋" 又同雞翼個汁差唔多味, 不叫也罷
4) 瑞士汁牛河- 好吃! 但有點過鹹及過油, 不過ok!
5) 烚鹹牛舌- 全晚我認為最好的一碟, 我本身好鐘意食牛舌, 好好味
6) 梳乎里- 都好好味! 一個夠四至六個人分, $89一個架, 不過男朋友話梳乎里好難做

總括一句, 未去過食一生人點都去試一次, 最好四人以上去, 可以一餐試曬佢d名菜. 但5年內都咪洗叫我再去一次, 因為質素及味道都不等於極高昂的價錢

high class restaurant?!!!!Over priced food...it is like, um...a bad copy of a LV bag. The service? what service...well, unless you've been going there since the 50s, and still thinks in terms of the 50s; and the waiters know you by your grandma's name. Be prepared to be shoved around to make room for the waiters to trot by with their attitude.

去太平館為懷舊?當然不,由細食到大,雖然有感情分,但最主要都係D野好食,唔好食人地都做唔到咁多年啦。每個人的口味不同,像我小時候至愛太平館的燒乳鴿,大個忽然轉口味中意食雞翼。雞翼其實幾貴,但偏偏全香港都冇一個地方做到佢咁出色,根本無法比較,獨一無二。雖然乾炒牛河,豬肶飯,或者梳乎厘都極正,但去到太平館唔食雞翼唔安樂。下午茶最好,人少少。份量不太heavy,價錢便宜。唯獨一樣,飲品同甜品真係不敢恭維,二十年如一日。嘻嘻~

11月25號星期六到銅鑼灣太平館晚餐,真係!好好味呀。咁耐無去食野,質素一樣咁正。而家多左很多套餐;煙?魚套餐,煙?魚加入大蝦沙律雖然?魚小小夠新鮮但用瑞士汁整非常正餐湯可改牛尾湯夠味夠濃瑞士雞翼唔洗講都正不果無order改燒乳鴿嘩!夠味鴿脾多汁嫩滑但瑞士汁干炒牛河唔order唔得一定要食最正必食都係個梳乎厘成個頭咁大近日雞蛋有蘇丹紅佢地用泰國雞蛋做唔洗驚.... 記住一到就要即食唔好等佢凍D 一凍就有怪味食野每人口味都唔同但有時係食一份人情味一份情懷就像D傻瓜鍾意天星碼頭個鐘樓一樣有時真係無得解。
