雖然價位比較貴, 但這裡的食物仍是有水準的, 怪不得這裡能夠連續五年取得必比登的榮譽. 人在附近, 想吃得清淡一點, 正斗還是個好選擇.

The only problem with this restaurant at IFC is the long queue. A minimum of 30 minutes wait is pretty standard, but then, I do think the food worth the wait for sure!

There was a wait-- I think we were 21 and they were serving 11 when we got there. However, they quickly went to 17 and then asked us in (at 17, even though we were 21)... so the total wait, at busy lunch time, was about 5-10minutes.

We were seated with another couple. They were at the end of their meal when we arrived, but were still there when we left-- this is some sort of cultural thing that I don't understand. People will sit around drinking tea for an hour at a restaurant with 20 person line out front... and then they'll complain on OR when the servers ask them to leave. Whatever.

We got 4 things: beef noodles, shrimp & shoots dumplings, shrimp & cheese spring rolls, and turnip cakes:

Beef noodles: I can't tell you better what the name of this dish is. Anyway, it's flat rice noodles, with scallions and beef slices. I'm told both that it's a specialty of the restaurant (Tasty) and that it's the inspiration for Pad Kee Mao, my favorite Thai dish. Anyway, another reviewer has it quite right that the noodles are 'starchy and greasy' but I'm a fan of them this way. 8/10

Shrimp and pea shoots dumplings: A lot of dim sum is shrimp dumplings and that's boring. These dumplings had not merely veggies inside, which many dumplings do, but veggies that had their own "personality". I'll admit that they did exceed my ability to handle them with chopsticks though (and I don't suck at that skill). 8/10

Shrimp & cheese spring rolls: Pretty much like high-end 'crab-puffs' at an American Chinese place. Fishiness, greasiness, cheesiness, and fried-i-ness. I have nothing against them, but I wouldn't order them again. 6/10

Turnip cakes: Not super-crispy, but definitely somewhat crispy from frying. Tasty but not amazing. 7/10

If you come here, you will wait in line. If you're in a small group (e.g. 2), you will likely eat at a table with strangers. If that's not your thing, then this isn't your place.

The food here is great. Everything is on the better side of what it is. Most things are such that if you ordered them off the menu here, they'd be better than if you ordered them off the menu elsewhere. It's still greasy and overpriced, but hey, you're in Hong Kong you idiot! Restaurant score: 8/10

- this was my favorite the bbq pork was so tender and tasty

The overall food isnt bad - i much prefer the dim sum dishes over the main dishes.

the price is a bit $$ for the type of food your eating. I would return during non busy hours and order the BBQ pork roll. so delicious!

其實正斗唔算平,不過勝在有得免費泊車,餐廳坐得舒服,食物又夠新鮮好味,哥仔同叔叔又夠細心友善,所以平均每人$90都覺得好抵。

突然想吃麵食所以前幾天便跟友人來這邊吃飯, 30分鐘的等候時間過後, 終於可以開始吃飯了.我點了一個炸醬撈麵, 想不到辣味會這麼重, 不能吃太辣的我只好跟友人交換吃, 他點的是牛腩撈麵.那個很不錯, 牛腩夠軟而且汁亦很夠味道, 唯一不大滿意的是牛根太多. 此外, 我們也點了淨雲吞. 體積小, 但卻「皮簿餡靚」不錯.

係出海前既午餐,曾經食過跑馬地店,只係覺得走高檔系既粥麵店,食過亦只有粥,今次黎食下其他。雲吞,見到餡料,未食都知係皮夠薄,餡料都係果D,呢到D餡料我覺得係平均形,唔會側重左蝦或者豬。個湯有濃郁既蝦子味,反而幾驚喜。豆漿,唔太凍,豆味算係正常,有豆品鋪的水準。炸兩,個皮好似真係薄得滯,油炸鬼係好唔錯的,個炸兩都係收貨。炒牛河,河粉薄薄,上色平均,牛肉好食,鑊氣亦唔錯,齋睇已經收貨,講左幾樣都好似好好,不過一夾就出事,原來好油,真係攪唔掂,食第一小碗,真係超水準,不過食多兩小碗,真係膩到不得了,我係黎當飯食,唔係試食小試下。其實水準都唔錯,不過真係太油,價格都係偏高果系列,要我再黎,都真係要觀望下。
