We also got the Eryngii Maki, which was a grilled king mushroom maki. In the menu that we saw in the restaurant, we both saw the word oyster in the first ingredient. Perhaps we both missed the word mushroom after oyster 😅 It’s a vegetarian dish. Oyster mushrooms are the mushrooms containing the highest amount of protein, which is great!


Main
We had the fish and the roasted chicken for the main. They changed the presentation and put the pan-fried rice and beans on another plate. We thought there’re 3 dishes.

The fish was deep-fried yet it’s juicy and tender inside, and it’s sizable. We both loved the aji amarillo wasabi sauce. I even asked the server not to take away the sauce when we finished the fish, so that I could use that to dip the chicken.

The tasting menu from Tokyo Lima is something that you shouldn’t miss.

Starting with their Nikkei Ice Bowl that’s ready to open up your palate. The tuna watermelon is amazing! You get the chewy texture from the tuna and the juice from the watermelon that is so refreshing. You can find the fried sweet potato chips that add crunchiness.

Nikkei Ice Bowl – La Causa/ Tuna watermelon/ Ceviche clasico
They are the appetisers. La Causa is the smashed potato with prawn tartare and avocado mousse. A tempura shrimp put on top. Ceviche classic is a sour and spicy dishes with ceviche, sweet potato and corn, as well as the tiger’s milk dressing. The tuna watermelon is a refreshing one with both of the ingredients marinate in soy sauce.

Second Course – Taco/ Beef tataki/ Prawn acevichado
My favourite is the prawn acevichado. The crispy tempura prawn together with the creamy avocado and a slice of hamachi is put on top. A very complete and complex flavor and texture in one bite. The taco is wrapping the slow cooked beef cheak and avocado while th seared striploin with garlic flakes and spring onion tastes really good.

Main- Tokyolima steak/ salmon/ arroz con marisocos
Tokyolima steak is the rib eye served with burnt spring onion butter. Tender and juicy. The grilled salmon stick with wasabi mayo is goo too. The arroz con marisocos is the Peruvian style seafood rice with lots of seafood.

Dessert – oye papi
Last but not least, we have the chocolate mousse and cookies with coconut ice cream to make a perfect finale of our dinner.

呢度前菜入邊有赤身吞拿魚(吞拿魚入面,脂肪含量最少的肌肉部分)。燴菜就用咗。西瓜、芥末大豆豉油、牛油果🥑仲有甜薯片。
值得一讚嘅係赤身吞拿魚新鮮又唔油膩,口感清爽柔軟。佢嘅整體味道呢就有西瓜提咗鮮味,赤蝦新鮮嘅芥末大豆豉油就偏甜,牛油果甜薯片風味獨特,同平時食開嗰啲墨西哥片有少少唔同嘅感覺,佢係比較偏清淡,帶出牛油果嘅鮮味。

Second course 有taco de adobo (一口將佢鯨吞好滿足 牛肉絲好有質感)、beef tataki (呢個好有驚喜 半生牛肉配搭脆脆口感勁好)同埋prawn acevichado (呢個卷物好正 魚生鮮甜而且炸蝦加牛油果好jeng)依家諗起都流晒口水😋

嚟到Mains簡直係perfect 😚 steak 好重牛咪,最緊要嘅係佢幫你切好晒 😙Salmon香甜 油脂啱啱好 :)Arroz con mariscos飯香軟入味,而且好多海鮮 😍甜品oye papi 都好jeng 雲呢拿雪糕好重味☺️

餐廳位置隱世,金色大門配以其精美的裝潢,開放式廚房,非常有氛圍感,他們的菜色結合了新鮮的日本海鮮和秘魯的香料,而今次tasting menu 上的每一道菜都有驚喜,獨具一格。


頭盤NIKKEI ICE BOWL
餐廳招牌菜,主廚根據秘魯傳統causa改良,一小碗載住大蝦他他、秘魯辣椒蛋黃醬、牛油果,口感非常有層次,加上香脆天婦羅蝦,酸酸甜甜,非常開胃

TUNA WATERMELON
吞拿魚刺身配西瓜🍉個搭配非常清新,用咗香脆南瓜片做點綴,加上少少Wasabi同醬油,係一個意想不到嘅搭配


CEVICHE CLASICO
亦都係秘魯著名菜色之一,鱸魚刺身配嘅秘魯醬汁虎奶,同爽口牛油生菜、脆粟米粒、芫荽、番薯、洋蔥,衝擊味蕾,搭配搭非常好

SECOND COURSE
TACO DE ADOBO
非常搶眼嘅taco,香脆嘅紅色taco皮包住切得非常完美一粒粒嘅牛油果同埋蕃茄粒,配以秘魯醬汁牛肉絲,一口滿足

BEEF TATAKI
牛肉切成薄片,熟成度剛好,香脆蒜粒蔥花及青蔥絲搭配軟腍牛肉,一片接着一片,惹味

PRAWN ACEVICHADO
鱸魚刺身天婦羅蝦壽司,新鮮天婦羅蝦配以牛油果粒再用鱸魚刺身包裹,加秘魯醬汁,大滿足

MAIN
TOKYOLIMA STEAK
份量超足!牛肉非常入味,外面香脆內裏軟腍,好吃!

SALMON
以前超喜歡在他家吃他們的串燒,三文魚依然保持到水準,汁燒至皮脆肉嫩,內里肉汁滿滿

ARROZ CON MARISCOS
燴飯用青口大蝦及八爪魚等海鮮烹煮,粒粒分明,唔會過腍,加上椰絲及秘魯醬汁,滿滿鮮味,搭配亦都啱啱好

DESSERT
OYE PAPI
椰子雪糕加朱古力brownie 同mousse,值得一讚嘅係佢嘅慕絲非常之細滑,唔會太甜,拿捏得剛好,椰絲碎及杏仁片增加了口感嘅層次
