一向好鍾意食牛扒,呢間係我心水扒房之一,行開附近嘅都知經常有人等位,呢日好好彩約早咗食晚餐,等兩三張枱就有得入座。我同朋友分別揀咗招牌flat iron steak同US prime。份量唔算太大,對女仔(雖然我偏大食)嚟講啱啱好,可能因為有無限refill嘅黑松露薯條啦~ 薯條應該加咗黑松露油,更加惹味,唔覺唔覺都refill咗兩次先滿足!如果男士驚唔夠飽,可以選擇加$50增量,牛扒size會多50%。總括兩個扒都高質素,加埋嘢飲平均每人二百零蚊有交易,值得encore。

「埋單」$6xx,在等候付款時,有食客問到餐廳有甚麼付款方式,店員說「所有付款方式都接受,包括支票,就係冇wechat 同alipay」

聽後我感到不舒服,即使餐廳或員工在政治立場有鮮明取態,有需要時刻去標榜取態嗎?
這樣令不分陣營都光顧的一般食客(如我),只感到餐廳的「執著」,而執著令人生畏懼,我們只想到訪享用午餐,無意捲入旋渦之中。
假如米芝連食店,或五六星級酒店,同樣呈現這種「風情」,則反映不專業!


老實說,另一著名餐廳吃牛扒,任食薯條,質素和gram 都比這間優勝,只是吃膩了也想試其他選擇,$6xx 午餐... 可一次,下次就... 會考慮考慮。

平日繁忙時間大排長龍的人氣牛扒小店,Menu上的選擇不多,專門吃Flat Iron。難得時間尚早可即入座,又牛癮大發,立刻去吃個Quick Dinner!是日特別版招牌平鐵牛扒 Today’s Guest Chef Flat Iron $238每日限定的Daily Special,今次是3小時Slow Cooked Finest Steak,店員建議要Medium熟度。肉質軟淋粉嫩,慢煮方式完美鎖住肉汁。只有一點點岩鹽調味點綴,沒有伴隨醬汁,吃得出濃郁的牛味,吃慣Medium Rare的我也對它很滿意。配菜走簡單風格,有烤香過的蘆筍和粟米,比起蕃茄或薯蓉更合我心意!Free Throw的黑松露薯條香脆熱辣辣,夠薯味亦有Truffle味,而且補給爽快,剛好能補充這一餐的澱粉質。Dirty Lemonade $45Dirty之處在於比一般的Lemonade多了一層檸檬焦糖醬,頗新奇特別,正好在吃完牛扒後Refresh一下味蕾。

每日限定的Daily Special,今次是3小時Slow Cooked Finest Steak,店員建議要Medium熟度。肉質軟淋粉嫩,慢煮方式完美鎖住肉汁。只有一點點岩鹽調味點綴,沒有伴隨醬汁,吃得出濃郁的牛味,吃慣Medium Rare的我也對它很滿意。配菜走簡單風格,有烤香過的蘆筍和粟米,比起蕃茄或薯蓉更合我心意!Free Throw的黑松露薯條香脆熱辣辣,夠薯味亦有Truffle味,而且補給爽快,剛好能補充這一餐的澱粉質。

Dirty Lemonade $45
Dirty之處在於比一般的Lemonade多了一層檸檬焦糖醬,頗新奇特別,正好在吃完牛扒後Refresh一下味蕾。

唉,因為武漢肺…..(明喇),搞到全香港人無得去旅行,我哋又掛住英國嘅Flat Iron牛扒,上網一search,嘩!都幾多人推介唔同嘅扒房,最後我哋選擇咗 @topbladesteaklab 去一試!今次我哋一步到位,叫咗USDA Prime 390-day grain fed flat iron ($268)。今次件牛係穀飼,所以我哋預期肉質會相對幼嫩,而且做得flat iron一定會進行去筋程序,口感相對嫩滑。上到枱,一切,見到個熟度係按我哋嘅要求,rare (呢個值得一讚,因為好多餐廳因為食品安全問題而唔夠膽整得太生俾客人,怕出事)。食落口,肉味香濃,有少許焦香。個人唔建議落醬汁食,只須落少少海鹽於牛扒上就足夠,用海鹽帶出牛扒嘅原始風味。不過,如果可以有得揀dry age過嘅,和價錢平番少少就更加好喇🥺而任食嘅黑松露薯條,就不過不失啦,正正常常。ED小分享 :牛扒可以分穀飼和草飼,顧名思義即係隻牛食咩大,食穀大嘅,會肥啲,marble多啲(即係”雪花”呀);食草大嘅,通常係天然放牧,牛牛自己周圍行搵草食,所以會相對精瘦,脂肪含量較少,對身健康會較好。
