聞說是「燒鳥界」的天花板之一,收工前搏吓whatsapp訂枱,lucky me! book到即晚8:30PM(第二輪)2位,乖乖網上付費落deposit;等食期間再收到whatsapp指我的訂座改為8:00PM?一頭霧水打電話去餐廳卻未有接聽,因朋友真係要8:30PM先趕到,我又已付訂金,唯有走一趟,餐廳主管也不明所以,但朋友剛好到達,就照樣安排入座前菜配味噌醬,另有蘿蔔蓉加鵪鶉蛋攪拌,少少心思可食串燒時減油膩感燒鳥通常必食雞心(原粒)、雞腳筋,火喉剛好,調味可以初試燒鳥习鑽位:雞甲狀腺、雞冠、三角軟骨,是我喜愛的口感反而雞生蠔、雞背皮、雞中翼、雞尾沒有比想像好,應該可以更juicy或少一份油膩感和牛、銀杏、青椒仔不過不失席間叫了兩杯清酒,最後以梅子茶漬飯作結不連酒水的話大約$500/位畢竟這個價位的燒鳥在香港選擇多想食雞习鑽部位的一試無妨

食過咁多次最欣賞就係佢嘅 chicken oyster、雞皮、濃雞湯、燒豆腐芝士、Obi、Achilles、Obi。


佢地既燒鳥冇第二間舖頭味道咁濃、亦都好香雞味。但就價錢偏貴、酒類選擇唔係特別多,不過係香港嚟講算係咁,值得每幾個月去食一次

Visited twice within 5 days. First time was booked by friend and the overall experience was fine. Second time I booked myself and the arrangement was just terrible…

We ordered 12 yakitori omakase set and the server told us we’re finished with yakitori when we had been only served 8 (btw salad was served in between those 8 yakitori which I don’t think is common). After acknowledging the error they served us green pepper but then proceed with soup and rice bowl… so we had to tell them again that there were still 3 Yakitori missing.

Then the server brought us 2 more vegetable yakitori and said it’s on the house as apology - but it’s not! It’s just part of the set.

Next they gave us green pepper AGAIN! At this point I was quite annoyed already and told them we had this before. Then some chicken meat was served as replacement.

We spent 2 hrs there in total, which is in line with their policy, yet our impression was that they were in a rush to complete the meal for us and didn’t care much about order or completeness of courses.

Food is good, more expensive than Yardbird or Birdie though.

食物質素和師傅嘅手勢well reflected喺個價錢. 我想提出的意見喺服務態度. 相信大家都會同意餐飲業服務係好重要的一環. 那天約咗朋友晚敘. 準時到達. 有一位朋友要搵地方泊車所以遲咗join.坐低大約20-25分鐘. 有傾有講在看menu.有一位侍應員行來用「指責」的語氣話(盡量翻譯)「我哋已經坐咗20-25分鐘,朋友還未到.用餐時間是兩個鐘. 咁咩唔尊重chef」我哋當一刻感到好愕然、尷尬. 心諗我哋明白時間會緊迫. 但點樣唔尊重chef?!其實簡單一句提醒客人用餐時間或者預早提示客人推介的食物和烹調的時間.會喺餐廳基本服務指標/應對. 這樣的溝通才是「尊重」題外話-預訂的時候也有特別問稀有的部位可不可以預訂.餐廳主管說不可預訂-是先到先有. 當天我們去的是第1段時間5:00pm. 但想order的那些部位已經售罄. 侍應員也沒有合理的解釋…最後那天我們是7:00pm離開餐廳. 食物雖然好味.師傅也專業. 但因為那一位侍應的服務質素影響.實在是太可惜.

Yakitori, 雞串燒 at Toritama. Have wanted to try this place for a really long time after reading so many positive reviews about it. Many people compare it with Birdie or Torisho. Yakitori, 雞串燒 at Toritama. Have wanted to try this place for a really long time after reading so many positive reviews about it. Many people compare it with Birdie or Torisho. I’ve never tried Birdie, so I could only compare it to the latter.
1️⃣Variety
Toritama has the largest variety of chicken parts compared to the other two, including rarely seen chicken crown and thyroid!
2️⃣Grill
Torisho and Birdie use authentic Binchotan grills, while Toritama use an electric grill. Hence I found Torisho’s skewers more aromatic with its characteristic charcoal flavor
3️⃣Service
Since Torisho was newly opened when I went, staffs were clueless about the menu and food items 🤣 Toritama’s ones were more knowledgeable and attentive. However, we feel like we were rushed through the meal
4️⃣Seasonings
Toritama provides an ample amount of seasonings and sauces. They also come with some vegetable sticks. Torisho has fewer choices of condiments.
🏆VERDICT: Personally, I would choose Torisho over Toritama due to their use of Binchotan

We ordered a 7 skewer set, in which skewers are offered in an Omakase manner. We had (according to photo order) chicken meatball, chicken cartilage, ginko nut, chicken heart, chicken thigh, chicken tail and chicken shoulder. We ordered extra chicken wings and chicken neck. The first picture is the Toritama rice bowl, which has minced chicken, chicken thigh and Onsen egg inside.
