同朋友一齊去食西餐 Westwood Carvery地點係中環蘭桂坊,舖仔細細,不過坐得好舒服我地叫幾個菜,一齊分黎食第一個白汁藍青口,青口肉質肥美鮮甜為左食埋個白汁我地額外叫左份包,點白汁一齊食係津津有味炸蟹球好多蟹肉絲同薯仔,材料十足,食落去食到滿滿既蟹肉絲又唔會太熱氣豬仔骨平時我好少食,估唔到肉質好滑,切開份量不會太少都有四至五條骨,幾個朋友仔分都每人最少有一條加上燒烤醬汁如虎添翼,好鬼夾到我至愛食嘅牛扒我比較鍾意食三成熟肉比較鮮甜嫩滑,做到入口即溶。點可以少得甜品呢?我點左至愛食嘅朱古力蛋糕+雲呢拿雪糕,唔會太死甜。又有朱古力味,仲有幾濕潤

見到海膽已經流口水了,把完整的海膽拌入意大利粉中,
意粉的軟硬度適中,不會太過軟稔,咬下去還有一些煙韌度。
醬汁滿滿的,每一條的意粉都有醬汁,雖然沒有太多的配料,
但是有海膽已經超滿足。

男朋友跟我也喜歡巧克力,所以點了這個蛋糕,
蛋糕質地濕潤,不會太過乾,吃得出濃郁的巧克力,
配合香草冰淇淋,平衡了巧克力的苦澀味。

我當然會揀牛肋扒,但同行有不吃牛肉的朋友,幸好也有煎烤牛、豬及魚的選擇
主菜除了肉扒類外,也有意粉及夾包,而頭盤和小食等的款式亦比想像中多

先以低溫慢烤,客人點餐後再切分,並按所需熟度燒灼,配薯菜上桌
而我點的是Medium Rare,味香不膻,肉質細嫩微彈,留有充沛肉汁,入口沒有韌位
Regular Cut應是約1-1.5cm厚,大胃口或與人分享的話,可考慮Westwood CutMega Cut
鹹脆薯條叫人吃得過癮,但另設的九款配菜也甚是吸引,加點了Creamed Corn $60
粟米本就清甜,加上甜潤忌廉點綴愈香,雖然稠杰易膩,但還是讓我們吃不停口
同場加映,友人點了豬肋骨,也是另一款我喜歡的菜式,肉不乾澀,醬汁也很夠味的

Canadian Sea Urchin Spaghetti Carbonara $238上的海膽不失甜鮮,還有微微彈性

來到是夜的尾聲,烘烤得金黃暖熱的Apple & Mixed Berry Crumble $88實在討喜
酸甜果味滿溢,醒胃不膩,金寶碎甜酥香脆,伴上雲尼拿雪糕更能感受到不同溫度之趣
喜歡輕盈清新點的話,可以參照平時Tasting Menu中以雪葩解膩的做法
店方自家製作的Coconut Sorbet $38椰香突出,而且質感綿滑不粗糙,吃罷也只覺清新

是夜以一杯Green Lemonade $42陪跑,面對道道精彩菜餚,得保持好胃口應戰
既有青瓜的清爽味道,又有輕輕的Jalapeño辣意,更少不了檸檬的酸甜
另有黃紅兩款Lemonade可選,分別是原味及莓香,但估計最解膩的應該是我點的口味了

想歎靚扒不一定要去高級餐廳,中環高質扒房不少,其中一間我覺得頗特別的是位於蘭桂坊的美式小餐館 Westwood Carvery,店子小小但慢烤牛扒很有名,它的招牌Prime Rib 就是60度低溫慢烤(slow-roasted) 10小時的作品,不但完美保存肉汁,連肉質也是鮮嫩的粉紅色,一口咬下去,牛肉汁滲滿整個口腔內的味蕾。連平時吃牛扒要避開的筋位也是軟腍腍的,是難得吃到的一種特別的滋味,連本身對慢煮並不特別鍾愛的我也有雙眼為之閃亮的感覺。這裡的Prime Rib 分為3個Cut, 分別是8oz Regular Cut, 12oz Westwood Cut, 16oz Mega Cut。這晚和老公點的是8oz Regular Cut, 我們覺得兩位分吃剛好。除了牛,我們也被slow-roasted baby back port ribs慢烤BB豬肋排吸引,這道pork ribs,跟連鎖店的那些真不可同日而語,肉質鮮嫩軟腍得輕輕下刀劃過就已完全切開,入口慢慢溶化的感覺...... 我吃了一口就瞪大眼看著老公,他以為我傻了,哈哈!我已經知道,以後在其他地方吃不到這樣的豬肋排,我會想念它。

Westwood Carvery雖然在熱鬧的蘭桂坊,但走入和安里的小路後有點自成一角,正好乎合我和老公今晚出來「避世」享受二人世界的心情,很好。雖然店子座位少又比較狹窄,但食物與氣氛好就夠了。

炸漿一啲都唔厚岩岩好包住魷魚 非常香口 再配埋佢地調製即醬汁 難怪呢個starter咁受歡迎
 Prime Rib一如既往粉嫩多汁 因為慢煮所以先會做到呢種效果 牛肉味濃 每次黎都係必嗌 
主菜咁掂 但佢地既side dish一啲都唔輸蝕 creamed corn每粒粟米都俾忌廉汁包住 每一啖都食到忌廉既香味  
而薯條係偏幼身 炸得岩岩好 算係唔錯 
最後到Sea Urchin Carbonara 呢個意粉唔係成日有 訂枱嗰陣特登request 所以今日先可以試到 
意粉個汁係加咗海膽去整 所以除咗三塊海膽之外 成個意粉都好香海膽味 好creamy 好夾

I reserved a table for 2 a week ago for lunch and went their 1/f restaurant for dinning today. Usually I went to 1/f for dining instead of the ground floor as ground floor is always packed with diners. However, today when I went to 1/f, the bartender told me that the shortage of manpower, they did not open 1st floor for diners. So I have to go back to the ground floor. Luckily, today is not full. There were 3 of us going in for lunch. Booked thru OpenRice with confirmation from the desk as well. Wagyu has been my selection for a decade for festive celebration. They have not disappointed me a single time. Ordered 3 charcoal steak medium to medium rare. Came out brilliant and juicy. Bean soup solid as usual. Not too watery not too thick. Service has been fantastic. Coffee are slight different at times but still ok.
