一定要食《焗魚腸》,唔係度度都有得食,如果唔預訂,未必有得食。的確係做得好出色,冇腥味,入面放了唔少配料,例如陳皮,但又唔會蓋過曬魚腸嘅香味,出面層蛋亦焗得香脆。《叉燒》都唔錯,咬落去好肥美,鬆軟,絕對唔會鞋颯颯,唔會肥膩。《蟹肉大良炒鮮奶》亦係另一個推介嘅菜式,蛋加鮮奶本來已經好滑,再加埋蟹肉嘅鮮味,食到停唔到口。反而《蒸肉餅》就比下去了,需然係足料,肉亦好有口感,但重手左,好鹹,我地都食剩一大半。

益新的琵琶鴨, 一段時間沒有品嚐, 質索不變, 份量看似更多 其中胸肉之厚比以前吃的更明顯, 我還以為琵琶鴨是因為較扁身的鴨型, 看似琵琶而稱為琵琶呢! 單純燒鴨而言, 鴨肉酥香多汁, 肉質實而不韌, 皮脆醬甜甘香, 名物始終就是名物, 當有些所謂名店連其首本名物也弄得一塌糊塗, 至少這裡在下多次品嚐依然保持水準.益新經典的粵式手工菜很多, 另一道我最近最欣賞的是鳳凰焗魚腸, 鯇魚腸爽而沒任何苦澀及雜質, 加上雞蛋及油炸鬼, 如布甸的外表但口感的層次, 是花了極多心機和時間在不名貴的結果, 比起匪味十足只有麻辣味的港式川菜, 更為難得. 益新的蝦多士和其他的不同, 也更有心機的是它將蝦膠作餡, 嵌入多士之中, 這樣不單外表更為統一而好看, 也令蝦肉不會容易地炸得過火, 當然沒有油膉味也是基本. 西檸雞和大良炒鮮奶這些經典也是水準之作, 五道菜連麵食千四元, 六人人均三百元也不用, 經典菜式手工精緻, 食材並不昂貴, 但味道和手工已能蓋過了食材的簡約.

與奶奶一齊lunch 去食點心我覺得益新大部分菜式都做得出色。每次必點蜜汁脆鱔$98Honey glazed Eel 鱔魚炸得香脆,再點上蜜糖汁。小朋友都好鍾意食。鍋貼蝦多士$95Deep fry minced shrimp on toast另一出色之作,多士上面查咗彈牙蝦滑, 咬落口並不油膩。招牌琵琶鴨$230 半隻Roasted duck in pipa style 半隻鴨三個大人分 好足夠,鴨肉多汁, 鴨皮好香脆。另外再叫咗幾個點心, 好滿足。

This restaurant never disappoints me. It’s my forth time visiting and I basically love every single dish I order. I had 8 traditional Guangdong dishes that night. Here are my favourites: 1. DuckThe skin is so crispy but not oily. And meat is very well cooked. Tender and juicy. This is a must-eat if you come here. I very much appreciate how they serve it warm. I had 8 traditional Guangdong dishes that night. Here are my favourites:

1. Duck
The skin is so crispy but not oily. And meat is very well cooked. Tender and juicy. This is a must-eat if you come here. I very much appreciate how they serve it warm. Sometimes, some other restaurants just leave it for too long before serving the customers.

The lemon sauce is stellar. Very refreshing. Not simply sweet and sour. You can taste a hint of yuzu. Chicken is decently fried.

3. Baked fish intestines
It sounds scary but it’s indeed very yummy. No fishy smell at all. Not many places serve this dish as it is very complicated and wasting time. I order this every time I come. One downside is the egg is a little bit too salty.

一班伙記都係做咗好耐,個個都好有經驗同禮貌。收碟、沖茶嘅速度都好快。
