今次係第一次嚟勝手,見綱上有彈有讚,決定自己試試。星期日晚8:30去到,冇訂檯,未滿座,侍應帶我們坐下,但個環境好怪,因為地方好細,所以食嘢時會望到對面啲人,即係話對面啲人都會望到你,唔慣兼唔鍾意。首先要讚讚佢地的服務態度好好,又細心講解menu,但我見到所有SHABU SHABU SET都係一人前,但價錢並不便宜,和牛餐要四百幾蚊,黑豚餐唔記得幾多錢,於是我同女友叫咗個海鮮餐,配魚湯,都要$260. 但又不見得好豐富,有蝦、帶子、大蜆、巨型蠔,但除咗帶了之外每樣都係得一隻。而那盤菜亦不見得是什麼矜貴的菜,咁就二百幾蚊!之後我們再叫咗啲串燒,雞軟骨、牛舌、和牛薄燒、蒜頭同多春魚,雞軟骨OK, 冇乜特別,和牛佢地用汁燒,跟本就食唔到牛肉味,而且味道好濃,牛舌同多春魚就好似燒蕉咗咁,牛舌仲好「鞋」添,最好味係蒜頭。食到咁上下,唔夠飽,叫多個黑豚,$120,OK,不過不失。食到後面,侍應問我地想跟飯定烏冬,本來想食烏冬,但女友想食飯,因為上次去另一間又係食SHABU SHABU嘅時候食過個飯覺得好特別,於是我地就叫咗個飯,侍應又提我地,如果食飯要唔要加隻蛋?心諗,乜唔係跟埋嘅咩?!碗飯嚟到喇

之後我們再叫咗啲串燒,雞軟骨、牛舌、和牛薄燒、蒜頭同多春魚,雞軟骨OK, 冇乜特別,和牛佢地用汁燒,跟本就食唔到牛肉味,而且味道好濃,牛舌同多春魚就好似燒蕉咗咁,牛舌仲好「鞋」添,最好味係蒜頭。
食到咁上下,唔夠飽,叫多個黑豚,$120,OK,不過不失。食到後面,侍應問我地想跟飯定烏冬,本來想食烏冬,但女友想食飯,因為上次去另一間又係食SHABU SHABU嘅時候食過個飯覺得好特別,於是我地就叫咗個飯,侍應又提我地,如果食飯要唔要加隻蛋?心諗,乜唔係跟埋嘅咩?!碗飯嚟到喇,侍應將佢擺喺我面前就行開咗,但係我點識煮啊?佢見我唔動手就同我講應該點做點做,佢講就輕鬆,結果我做嘅時候就一仆一碌,最後煮咗個粥出嚟,仲俾女友咋型,話我咁都唔識煮,嘩,上次食有專人服侍嘛。
後來埋單睇下張單,兩碟枝豆$40,隻蛋要$8,碗飯呢——$16,太貴了!唔知食烏冬使唔使加錢?記得上次去食另一間,人地個set已經包埋個飯同雞蛋。
埋單總結,啤酒、串燒、SHABU SHABU、甜品係雪米糍,盛惠$769,每人$385,唔抵!未必會再幫襯。

The first time here was recommended by numerous friends who have praised about the quality of the food here.Been here 3-4 times and it's one of those places that you don't need to go frequently but every now and then when you want something different from your everyday meals this would be the perfect spot.My favourite selection is the fish soup base with beef. You also must not miss out on ordering some BBQ sticks as well, they have the best ox tongue i have tried in HK!! The vegetable is a good

My favourite selection is the fish soup base with beef. You also must not miss out on ordering some BBQ sticks as well, they have the best ox tongue i have tried in HK!! The vegetable is a good portion and I also recommend the udon as well as it is superb with the soup base at the end. As they top up your pot with soup and not water the taste is always very strong and not watered down.

Would be great if they had a dessert menu too!!!

Service is great from the staff and the manager there is always happy for a chat.

Looking forward to more frequent visit during winter!!!

-全部個樣都好新鮮,但唔知點解我食到紹菜有點苦,但友人又唔覺

iii) 海鮮
-包1碟海鮮 - 有1隻大蝦,2隻大蜆,2片帶子同1隻jumbo size嘅生蠔
-大蝦頭都有用架喎,女店員見我放咗大/2嘅菜落去滾,佢就建議我可以放埋蝦頭落去1齊煲,咁又喺喎,等鮮味好以帶落咁齊嘅蔬菜度
-女店員也有提點我淥帶子嘅時間唔好太長,但最後都被我遭"躂"咗,"un"咗,不過就全無鮮味,呢點應該唔喺我煮得太耐嘅關係
-大蜆同蝦都合格
-全碟最欣賞喺隻巨蠔,因好肥美,有濃蠔味,又鮮

iv) 湯
-包1碗湯,我哋揀咗麵豉湯,另有蜆肉湯選擇
-正常,都幾大碗吓

v) 烏冬
-我哋揀咗烏冬,另有白飯選擇
-初時以為點解佢哋比成兜竹籤我哋
-原來喺幼身烏冬
-呢個我就留都最後,食晒d菜同海鮮先食
-滑

vi) 甜品
-我哋揀咗朱古力味雪米糍,另有雲呢嗱味選擇
-店方幫我哋分1/2上
-呢個徹頭徹尾朱古力,由個皮開始,中心也有朱古力漿
-好少見嘅雪米糍款式

3) 燒甜粟
-店方又幫我哋分1/2上
-燒得好靚,好似粟1燒咁
-肉甜,又爽

4) 牛脷串燒
-肉質幾彈,不錯

5) 雞肉串燒
-雞肉表面燒得小挺
-個醬甜甜的,不錯

* 多謝友人請食飯.........也多謝送來的禮物

* 呢度個人覺得串燒嘅水準好似平均d,又好過個海鮮火鍋

* 店方致電落實訂位時,有講清楚有機會要1-1/2鐘要交枱........不過1齊視乎到時環境/情況,問我有無問題

* 呢間開咗大約1/2年左近...........但近期已在天后附近開咗分店,真利害~~~~

經常走過加路連山道,見其裝潢別樹一格甚為吸引已經心思思想找機會會一會其shabu shabu與母親大人進去後坐在前文提及的"walk-in"位,點了一客seafood set dinner(@$260)和a la carte(@$3xx)的和牛肩點和牛肩是因為牛肉的選擇的確有限,只得美國牛排和A5和牛而兩者皆非本人所好湯底則選擇了sukiyaki和立魚湯底餐廳的裝潢不錯,而且在多人shabushabu的情況下回家後頭髮和衣服都沒有沾染太強的味道,值得欣賞侍應很快將所有食材都放在面前,首先的是淡如開水的"clam clear soup"的確clear as water.雖然底下附有新鮮蜆肉一隻..真真正正"食之無肉,棄之有味"全晚最欣賞的是蠔和帶子,鮮甜至極.兩個湯底都十分不俗還有烏冬亦出人意表..引用前文一句"老闆入對了貨"可惜的是,價值300多元的和牛肩令人失望未知是否存放過久?即使只是輕輕一涮.亦嚐不出是和牛的質感和味道心裡不禁疑惑為什麼會供應和牛肩?究竟是和牛肩本身味道不重?還是關乎老闆提供的質素?set dinner的大蜆涮了好久都沒有打開,根本是不新鮮之故食下去口感和鮮味都欠

未知是否存放過久?即使只是輕輕一涮.亦嚐不出是和牛的質感和味道
心裡不禁疑惑為什麼會供應和牛肩?
究竟是和牛肩本身味道不重?還是關乎老闆提供的質素?

set dinner的大蜆涮了好久都沒有打開,根本是不新鮮之故
食下去口感和鮮味都欠奉;
此外,特別的裝修亦有其弊病
全程老闆都不停和特定兩名顧客聊天,明白明白
"create relationship with customer"
可是座位太近使同檯食飯的我和母親大人卻覺得有d吵耳
破壞了店子本身恬靜雅適的感覺
想靜靜地對話也有困難

2百多元的dinner set算及格啦.
可3百多元的和牛肩令人大跌眼鏡

埋單一看兩碟冰冷無味的枝豆價值$40
看前文才知可以要求拒絕..oh就這樣比"set up"了


要吃和牛海鮮.有比這裡更好的地方
但若想嚐一下shabu shabu者不妨一試

I haven't cooked in a long while and this evening I wanted to all of a sudden. Being the lazy person that I am, in order to get the best of both worlds, hot pot / Japanese shabu shabu was the best choice whereby I can fulfill my desire to cook and to explore new establishments at the same time. The whole store front was transparent with a huge glass wall which I think is a good way to promote itself via the display window. I haven't cooked in a long while and this evening I wanted to all of a sudden. Being the lazy person that I am, in order to get the best of both worlds, hot pot / Japanese shabu shabu was the best choice whereby I can fulfill my desire to cook and to explore new establishments at the same time. The whole store front was transparent with a huge glass wall which I think is a good way to promote itself via the display window. The layout of the tables (or long bar table) reminds me of Restaurant City @ Facebook whereby the waiter / staff would deliver and serve dishes inside the enclosed aisle for greater efficiency. Anyways ...

Each guest has his/her individual pot in front of the "bar table." Among the choices on the menu, we picked the set dinners because we were too lazy to order individual items. The set came with a main dish (see below), the choice of soup bases and some side items such as assorted vegetables.

(1) Soup Bases
My friend picked the Clear Red Snapper soup (Left Picture) and I picked the Fish and Kelp Soup (Right Picture). Mine was more of a clear soup based which I like and the Clear Red Snapper soup wasn't as clear as I expected. I tried both soup bases from the start but realized that both were lightly flavored. Apparently, as informed by one of the owners present there that evening, it was intentional to keep the soup base rather light to start with because it will get to be more rich and strong after the meal. It was after the meal when the soup should be consumed to get the most of out it in terms of flavors. (and I did follow the advice and enjoyed the more complex flavors of he soup at the end of the meal!)

(2) Shabu Shabu Deluxe Set
As part of the main dish of the set, the star of the show was the Miyazaki Beef Flat of Rounds (A4 Grade). It was fresh and thinly sliced. A few seconds in the boiling soup would be sufficient to bring the beef its optimal eating condition according to the CHEF of the night, which is ME! The beef would melt in your mouth but due to the light soup base, I only tasted the beef and not much of the flavors of the soup. It was as if I was cooking the beef in plain boiling water. (the Clear Red Snapper Soup was better in this perspective because it started of with a stronger flavors) If you are to order my clear soup base, I would suggest to cook some vegetables using the soup first to elevate the underlying flavors of soup base. Just a tip from Chef wannabe Jason.

(3) Shabu Shabu Seafood Set
For the seafood set, it came with Clam, Prawn, Oysters and Scallops. All items were of extra large size if you ask me. They looked fresh and tasted fresh. Again, with such shabu shabu setting and with fresh ingredients, we can all be great chefs! It was fun indeed!

All items were huge, especially the oyster!

As recommended, placing the shrimp head into the soup at the start would produce a strong and rich flavors for the soup throughout the meal, give it a try to see if it works for you!

(3) Side Items
As part of the set, it came with Assorted Vegetables, Inaniwa Udon and Clear Clam Soup as well. Not much of surprises here. The way the Udon was presented was nice but make sure you cook the Udon last so to get the most out of the soup.

The clear clam soup was rather light in flavors and was not served hot but warm instead. Not what I expected (or preferred) and a few points off for serving it warm!

(5) Japanese Pork Slices
The two main dishes we shared were not enough so we ordered an extra plate of meat. Instead of beef, we opted for pork. They were fresh and without much surprises. The beef was definitely better.

(6) Grilled OX Tongue
Now this was surprisingly delicious. The grilled OX tongue was thick and firm, carrying a very chewy sensation to it. Flavors were good as well with traces of grounded pepper all over it. I was surprised because at a place where YOU the diner is the CHEF, I did not expect cooked items to be this enjoyable. Thumbs up!

* Fun - If you want to be a chef for a night, this is a good place to start with. The quality of the items all depend on YOU! Not much skills from the kitchen there, smart way to do business indeed.
* Grilled OX Tongue
* Fresh Ingredients

Dislikes:

* Warm clear clam soup
* Seating arrangement quite packed

Avg Spending: Above HKD 500 per person

i've been wanting to try this place for months, but its always full and advance booking is definitely required.it might have also been because of the wait, i was really looking forward to a delicious meal, and was quite disappointed actually... or possibly my expectations were too high.from the menu, you basically only have 3 choices of either wagyu beef set, pork set or seafood set. all 3 choices werent too impressive nor especially tasty, and the portion is way too small. however, it seems t

from the menu, you basically only have 3 choices of either wagyu beef set, pork set or seafood set. all 3 choices werent too impressive nor especially tasty, and the portion is way too small. however, it seems the best option from the 3 would be the seafood.

the dinner sets come with a huge plate of vegetables, which are fresh and crunchy and the udon is also good.

overall, the experience wasn't too special and i think its too pricey, dinner was over $500....

再說食物,中上,不過不失,點了魚湯跟海鮮窩,湯比料吸引,一大堆菜伴碟,好吃極也只是菜,沒有technique可言,蝦、帶子、硯都可以,但無驚喜,還有點不明白為什麼沒有最基本的魚片。

魚湯只要趁熱喝便不腥,友人的甜豉油湯底也很可口,不太甜,不太鹹,不俗不俗,最surprising 的是那個稻庭烏冬,我猜是買回來的,我只可以讚老闆入對貨。

最後甜品為雪米磁。我猜應該有更多更有heart的選擇。

立魚湯 – 餐前一口,清淡及帶有魚香。
餐後,濃及帶咸,我比較鐘意餐前的湯底。

温聲提示:雖然店員主動推薦立魚湯,但各位可選擇自己喜好,沒有強迫的, 如自己不喜歡魚湯,無謂強求點此湯吧!

日本牛:
自己對日本牛的認識不是太深,但亦略知一二,勝手的宮畸牛油脂尚算平均,牛味尚可接受,$230來說,可說是可接受價錢,我看見隔離的A5當然美味啦!
海鮮餐:
蝦與蠔,我的最愛,三分鐘內已可進食,蝦容易剝殼,味道鮮甜,蠔大而紮實。值得一提就是賣相似意大利粉的稻亭Udon,十分彈牙,好味!
善意的意見:
立魚湯海鮮餐 Perfect Match,木魚湯和牛Perfect Match。
菜盤新鮮,自己都未試過一餐食這麼多的菜。

進步空間
-冷氣可凍一點,看見有男仕額頭有汗
-可問客人要那一種 Sauce,不要一口氣給麻醬。
-可在枱下加上鈎子,方便掛手袋、公事包。
-希望下次來臨時,有新款菜式。
有心的小店不易找,給多一點善意的意見少一點不實或惡意的批評

勝手,已經變了我們飯堂。在臺灣,哪里都可以吃到正宗得SHABU,可是在香港就沒有這種文化,直至有勝手的出現。喜歡那邊好像家的感覺,服務態度又好,如果有超過20人,把整家餐廳包起來就可以開PARTY,好開心!!通常吃SHABU前,我都會叫串燒。牛舌,烤雞翅和玉米是我的最愛,吃完又初戀的感覺。至於湯底方面,我只試過魚湯,奶白色濃農的鮮魚湯加上稻庭烏冬是最美味,雖然簡單。牛肉方面,入口即溶,配合魚湯有另外一種風味。肉類配新鮮蔬菜盤不會很膩。每次吃完最期待是雪糕嫲薯,QQ的感覺。價錢方面,大概300-400,我覺得在香港來講以這個價錢可以吃到那麼多的東西已算不錯。大家不妨一試=)

上星期我個為食friend話帶我食好嘢,嚟咗呢間「勝手」。我問佢食乜?佢話食SHABU SHABU,好正喎。去到一坐低,個款似食回轉壽司多啲!再睇MENU,又立魚湯又豬骨湯,心諗:你估而家港式打邊爐咩,咁多款湯不如去有骨氣!結果我個fd叫咗個黑豚配豬骨湯,都幾正常嘅配搭,我就叫個牛肉upgrade版,試下佢地啲和牛,但當我想要清湯嘅時候佢地竟然話冇清湯,最清係個魚湯,有冇搞錯,食SHABU SHABU就係要用清湯,如果唔係就唔使食和牛,食美國肥牛咪得囉!算,唯有要個最清嘅魚湯。Order完,原來張檯面有機關,揭開你面前塊木板有個圓形,跟住侍應就攞個鐵兜放落去,然後就加湯!我fd個豬骨湯就冇乜豬骨味,但我個魚湯就好重魚(腥)味!一人一個鐵兜,呢個場好似係專為單身人士而設,個個埋頭苦吃,你唔好搞我嗰兜,我唔會掂你嗰兜,感覺非常之怪!黑豚同和牛分別上檯喇,黑豚不過不失,和牛不敢相信,本地或美國肥牛都靚過佢,仲賣五百幾蚊。碟菜,唔見得係咩日本蔬菜,有椰菜同類似小棠菜,份量亦少得驚人,佢可能怕啲客太飽食唔到啲肉。食晒啲肉同菜,跟住嚟烏冬。侍應將一個即食嘅烏冬解咗凍,放喺隻碟上面擺喺我面前,我問佢

想問下勝手個老闆,究竟知唔知咩叫SHABU SHABU?? 你自己唔知都唔好當全部香港人唔知!

因為住附近尋晚已經係第三次嚟勝手食,,由幾個月前新開張到現在,每一晚經過都見到爆晒,見到之前幾個食評唔係咁好,以為佢啲食物質素變差。尋晚再次到訪,我又唔覺喎!再次試佢地嘅魚湯同和牛餐無upgrade已經好ok,但係可以多兩三片就更好la。。因為本身係食肉獸,叫多左一碟A5和牛肩!嘩!呢碟無得頂!每塊都成個電視遙控咁大(有相為証),油花分佈好平均,就咁灼一灼,入口鬆軟。。貴就貴la 但因為就算日本當地都屬高級食府所以間中食吓都ok!仲有,我好鍾意佢地個烏冬,好味!但係,前菜(豆)要額外收費的話,係應該先通知客人既同埋D冷氣要大D,食到我好熱。

The Matsuzaka beef at this "shabu-shabu" restaurant was outstanding - perfectly marbled. Unfortunately, everything else was substandard. None of the several broth selections were anything close to the typical shabu-shabu stock, and the two we tried were characterless. The miso soup tasted watery, as if they skimped on the miso. And even the beef was almost ruined by being sliced way too thick for shabu-shabu. Including the fee for the unappetizing appetizer (a half-dozen edamame) and service ch

聽朋友講加路連山道有shabu shabu食, 所以專登同朋友去試下~ 有驚喜~魚湯底未食火窩前已經幾鮮甜, 食完晒之後仲可以全部飲晒!!用料新鮮, 我好怕海鮮如果太大舊, 通常會冇乜鮮味, 不過呢度o的海鮮又大舊又新鮮!至於環境, 雖然鋪仔細細, 我反而覺得好close好warm, 而且店主好細心會不停睇住顧客有乜需要, 加湯, 收碟, 較冷氣...樣樣都爽手~~

用料新鮮, 我好怕海鮮如果太大舊, 通常會冇乜鮮味, 不過呢度o的海鮮又大舊又新鮮!

至於環境, 雖然鋪仔細細, 我反而覺得好close好warm, 而且店主好細心會不停睇住顧客有乜需要, 加湯, 收碟, 較冷氣...樣樣都爽手~~
