之前見新開張時, 雜誌好評如潮, 直教人期待.....今天終有機會試試....下午2時多來到, 也要等30分鐘, (是排隊, 不派飛仔的, 很討厭) 是全層唯一一間有人排隊的...1. 海南雞飯餐, 光是等食物也有20分鐘, 難怪轉流慢, 出面要排隊了... 雞- 很失望, 無雞味, 淋滋滋 飯 - 是全單最好味的了, 很香, 乾身. 皮蛋慕絲蒸蛋 - 是有特色的, 但個人不喜歡2. 肉骨茶鐵沙煲 - 肉骨茶味道不錯, 排骨ok那個海南雞window只放有一隻海南雞, 我跟朋友說好像是假的, 之後隔離那位仁兄又同他朋友說了同樣的, 很好笑. 總結: 海南雞我情願吃太子大廈那間cantxxx 更好味.

之後隔離那位仁兄又同他朋友說了同樣的, 很好笑.

總結: 海南雞我情願吃太子大廈那間cantxxx 更好味.

和朋友在世貿中心繞來繞去,後來選定這一家,純粹只是因為這家店好多人排隊喔,suppose應該蠻好吃的吧。等位不用十分鐘,翻了翻menu,因為第一次來,很直覺地點了招牌套餐 -- 海南雞飯。餐一送上來就覺得好豐盛啊,滿滿一大盤。雞湯很香濃,還用茶壺裝著保溫,要喝的時候再自己倒出來,碗裡備好豆腐,和雞湯很搭。青菜一碟。朋友覺得雞肉麻麻地,但我覺得ok啦,品質有挑選過。附上三小碟醬汁,可以一次享受不同的口味,蠻特別的,我比較不喜歡醬油那種,沾了一次就不要了。配上香香的雞油飯,我一個人嗑掉一碗喔。另外還有一碟看不出來是什麼東西,剛開始還以為是醬汁來的,後來聽到服務生給隔壁桌上菜才知道那是蒸蛋啊,服務生怎麼沒有告訴我們??? 害我們拿雞肉沾來沾去的。 ><吃一次新鮮有趣就夠啦,以這個價位我覺得還蠻貴的,應該都被房租吃掉了吧﹗﹗﹗

等位不用十分鐘,翻了翻menu,因為第一次來,很直覺地點了招牌套餐 -- 海南雞飯。

餐一送上來就覺得好豐盛啊,滿滿一大盤。

雞湯很香濃,還用茶壺裝著保溫,要喝的時候再自己倒出來,碗裡備好豆腐,和雞湯很搭。

青菜一碟。

朋友覺得雞肉麻麻地,但我覺得ok啦,品質有挑選過。

附上三小碟醬汁,可以一次享受不同的口味,蠻特別的,我比較不喜歡醬油那種,沾了一次就不要了。

配上香香的雞油飯,我一個人嗑掉一碗喔。

另外還有一碟看不出來是什麼東西,剛開始還以為是醬汁來的,後來聽到服務生給隔壁桌上菜才知道那是蒸蛋啊,服務生怎麼沒有告訴我們??? 害我們拿雞肉沾來沾去的。 ><

吃一次新鮮有趣就夠啦,以這個價位我覺得還蠻貴的,應該都被房租吃掉了吧﹗﹗﹗

I was having trouble trying to think about what to eat for dinner and suddenly I just missed S'pore food and I decided I should give this place a try as I was told that it's good. As a 'S'porean', we sure did have had a lot more chicken rice than HK locals.Sat down and quickly looked to the menu and the first thing that caught my eyes was Sambal Stingray, something that is hardly seen in HK and I just HAD to have it. The stingray came and it looks quite good....but to my disappointment, it's not that great. I wouldnt say is bad, but the sambal was just not "there" .... The chicken rice came alot later than the other tables that ordered after us.
The rice itself was good but the sauce,the chicken was not that right, but the soup was great....
Didnt have enough room for other dishes...The laksa on the other table looks good...might give them a try MAYBE....

有一兜 皮蛋慕絲蒸蛋, 放在三色醬旁邊, 我還以為是什麼醬來的, 問店員才知是小吃來的。滑嘟嘟的, 上層灰色的皮蛋慕絲有輕輕的皮蛋香, 反而蓋過了下層的蒸蛋味道。畢竟也是挺有特色的。

菜心幾條, 沒什麼特別。

在銅鑼灣的海景餐廳賣這 (相對億萬海景來說不算太貴的) 價錢, 海南少爺雞用的當然是冰鮮雞, 這在我向店員查詢後得到證實。
雞皮不很爽, 不過還有點啫喱
, 肉都算是滑的, 不過亦如預計之中的, 沒什麼雞味。
(天呀, 就連在新加坡當地的海南雞飯, 也極少會用到新鮮雞啦 - 新加坡根本沒有活雞出產

- 不信的話, 大家可以飛過去吃下便知。)

油飯反而不錯, 幾乾爽的, 也不理是雞湯還是雞油飯了。吃來不太油, 有些少香茅的香味, 可能是配合港人愛清淡些的口味吧。
也別問究竟是雞湯還是雞油飯才是正宗, 我覺得各家都有不同的做法, 也各有各的擁躉, 合自己口味便是了。
三色醬就不是特別出色, 黑醬油甜甜的, 是稀了一點; 薑茸也是沒什麼薑味, 辣椒醬的酸味比辣味重, 還是黑醬油比較對味。

飲品好像要了咖啡, 其實還不是那些咖啡奶茶檸茶檸水, 就是沒選擇之下的選擇。

可能是我早到, 又是開店之初, 我找來服務生左問右問她們也很樂意解答。

再來的時候, 已經開業 4 個多月了, 人龍依舊, 然而這裡對店子的評價都幾參差 (似乎是差的居多), 既然如此, 就給它多一次機會來個較公正的論斷。
(當然我是趁著剛開門未有人排隊的時候來啦!)

也是吃招牌少爺海南雞飯 (仍是 $88, 轉雞脾要加 $10, 還是算了), 雖然見到玻璃櫃位掛著隻燒雞, 結果還是要了正常的海南雞。

一坐下服務生已放下一兜貌似前菜的物體, 好像有解說一下的, 但她說得太快我聽不清楚, 原來是酸梅粉石榴。我恐防這東西要另外收費, 於是把它吃光光! 酸咪咪的, 其實幾醒胃的。之後就發現那個皮蛋慕絲蒸蛋已經沒有了, 鳴嗚...明明天氣已轉涼, 似乎過了吃石榴的季節啦!

雞湯已換成杞子雞湯, 而油菜就變成娃娃菜。都做得認真的。

雞和飯可幸跟上次吃的水準差不多, 即是雞皮色淡淡, 仍是沒有雞味, 要靠三色醬提味 (雞下面倒是有一灘淡醬油的)。飯有幾粒硬米, 不過仍然香口, 不礙事; 而它比上次再油潤一些, 可能是按港人口味作了些調整。

沒加錢要特別的飲品了, 求其要杯熱檸茶便算。

第一次吃已覺得沒有必要大排長龍來吃, 這次之後仍維持原判, 除非你要的是海景送飯吧 - 如果你有幸坐到窗邊位的話。

幫襯一間餐廳,唔係淨係享受食物同埋餐廳環境仲要睇埋你既服務態度呢間餐廳無得攞籌,硬係要顧客係佢門口打蛇餅咁排條人龍出黎做勢,fine我唔鍾意排,o個日walk in 見到無人排隊,心諗不如試試去到門口個staff 巳經唔好態度話要排隊,但我明明見到入面有位好啦,我排,諗住等一陣就安排入座點知一等再等,由本身無人排得我同朋友,最後成條人龍廿幾人都未輪到我地問個staff 點解咁耐都唔俾人入,佢話唔好意思,未有位佢要安排訂座既都ok,但唔駛30分鐘都唔放一個人入去同自己鬥氣, 排龍頭無理由咁走左去,終於有得入去食先先係安排左一個幾唔舒服既座位,冷氣超大and 風口吹住,凍到人想走,問staff 安排換位又無乜人理打開menu,其實食一個海南雞飯加埋一點解要一舊水,個炒貴刁又係。。。。 呢個定價係咪有返咁既質素呢, 即管試下最後個雞又無乜鮮雞味,個飯就更加唔好提,唔香既個貴刁好少少,但都唔值o個個售價坦白講,排咁耐都係想食餐好既, 點知。。。。。。。 我情願去返x國人海南龜度食

Finally had lunch at Hainan Shaoye, the queues had put me off before.I was a bit disappointed because only lunch sets were served at lunch, and I couldn’t order any A La Carte items. This probably explains why there was no queue.As a potential revisiting customer, I was not pleased when I asked to look at the full menu, they didn’t let me see it.The staff there were not that co-operative, and the male looking manageress didn’t seem to like her staff.Ordered the chicken set, and a seafood laksa.U

Upon ordering the chicken, the waiter informed that all the chicken meat was white meat, so if you wanted chicken thigh, you would need to pay $10 extra.
Westerners usually prefer white meat, so I think a lot of chinese would be paying an extra $10 for thigh meat, a good way for them to profit!!
The egg mousse that was shown on the lunch product shot seemed to be missing. I wonder if it is an evening dish, if so, why put it on the lunch menu!

There was nothing spectacular with the chicken, but the soup was interesting, chicken and wolfberry soup served in a Tea Pot.
As for Laksa, it tasted slightly better, it wasn’t spicy at all. The soup was watery and not strong in coconut.
There were some dried Laksa leaves present, and the soup base reminded me of “Gozen Men’s” Laksa noodles.

先說海南雞飯,包括了海南雞、油飯、菜及雞湯,雖然沒有加 $10 要全脾,但雞肉尚算腍滑,皮不太厚,但有少少離肉的情況,先沾上杰杰的黑醬油後,再沾上酸辣醬及薑茸,味道變得更加吸引,感覺是不錯的。呈微黃色的油飯看來十分對辦,夾起夠乾身,第一口亦相當入味,但一直吃,卻發覺部份飯粒明顯較硬,口感不一,有點奇怪。

精選海鮮喇沙 ($88) 價錢已經不算便宜,但其實還有一款更高昂的皇牌龍蝦喇沙 ($168),實在有點誇張,可幸的是份量十足,賣相吸引。喇沙可選米粉、瀨粉或雙併,我們選擇了雙併,貪其雙重口感更為豐富,材料則包括了標準的蝦、魚蛋、魚片、豆卜等,當中以魚蛋最好食,入口夠彈牙,反而蝦肉竟然有點霉,有點失望。呈橙色的湯底夠鮮,也富奶香,如再落些森巴醬同吃,味道會更為突出。

買單加一後七折約 $140,感覺還可以,但如果正價的話,就要好好考慮,女友話齋,在這裡一百蚊食一碗喇沙,倒不如去土司工房吃兩碗,起碼隻蝦唔會霉...

Definitely not worth queueing for the chicken rice here. The chicken was bland and tasteless and the rice was abit overccoked. When the food was served, it gave people the impression that it just came off the conveyar belt! The laksa broth was bland and did not taste anything like laksa at all. I think I am better off buying a packet of laksa sauce from the supermarket and cooking it myself at home! I definitely won't come back because with such prices, there are better quality chicken rice a

The laksa broth was bland and did not taste anything like laksa at all. I think I am better off buying a packet of laksa sauce from the supermarket and cooking it myself at home!


I definitely won't come back because with such prices, there are better quality chicken rice and laksa (or Singaporean food for that matter) available elsewhere in Hong Kong.

Also don't be fooled by the long queue. Just another marketing stint.

呢日出現左一個奇蹟..我媽媽同我一起在銅鑼灣出現..因媽媽鍾意食雞.順理成章就帶佢去海南少爺食午餐..到左門口,立刻入得.裏面的環境衛生,坐得舒服.仲有好靚風景睇.....店員外表無笑容.實際上服務都唔錯.會交代個餐.幾時來..盡快做到人客的要求.席間我見到隔離個男人好惡咁嫌杯青檸無味,要退錢...店員都有禮話幫佢加青檸.服務絕對無問題.....我點的食物如下...海南雞飯餐...88元...由配角講起........有三個醬.味道不是太濃...我覺得最好食的係黑色醬.甜甜地...點雞都好惹味...菜心...爽脆大碟...做得唔錯...不用加配料都好食.....杞子雞湯,用個壺裝住保暖抵讚...而湯鮮甜.清香,令人回甜.......飯...我覺得正宗海南雞飯個飯.有一種油的香味...但呢處飯沒有.幸好飯粒.粒粒分味.絕對合格....雞嫩滑...但完全無味...要味就要靠醬料...我在元朗.有間我成日去食的店...仲好食..比下去呢間出名的海南少爺 .有點失色如果...價錢係40至60元.我覺得超值....笑臉一定俾...現在.我知呢間店係出名.價錢連加一要96元....食物我覺得無特別

到左門口,立刻入得.裏面的環境衛生,坐得舒服.仲有好靚風景睇.....店員外表無笑容.實際上服務都唔錯.會交代個餐.幾時來..盡快做到人客的要求.席間我見到隔離個男人好惡咁嫌杯青檸無味,要退錢...店員都有禮話幫佢加青檸.服務絕對無問題.....

由配角講起........有三個醬.味道不是太濃...我覺得最好食的係黑色醬.甜甜地...點雞都好惹味...
菜心...爽脆大碟...做得唔錯...不用加配料都好食.....
杞子雞湯,用個壺裝住保暖抵讚...而湯鮮甜.清香,令人回甜.......
飯...我覺得正宗海南雞飯個飯.有一種油的香味...但呢處飯沒有.幸好飯粒.粒粒分味.絕對合格....
嫩滑...但完全無味...要味就要靠醬料...我在元朗.有間我成日去食的店...仲好食..比下去呢間出名的海南少爺 .有點失色
如果...價錢係40至60元.我覺得超值....笑臉一定俾...現在.我知呢間店係出名.價錢連加一要96元....食物我覺得無特別.加上我唔回味.所以只給中級評分

Heard about this place month ago but when I wanted to try there was such a long queue I decided to give up. Finally was able to go with my family and we tried the following 1) Hainan Chicken Rice 2) Roast chicken 3) Laksa 4) Bak Kut Teh 5) Nonya Sytle Prawns and 6) Shaoye TofuHainan Chicken rice is definitely one of the best in town. Finally was able to go with my family and we tried the following 1) Hainan Chicken Rice 2) Roast chicken 3) Laksa 4) Bak Kut Teh 5) Nonya Sytle Prawns and 6) Shaoye Tofu

Hainan Chicken rice is definitely one of the best in town. The rice was so frangrant and delicious we decided to order 2 more bowls. The chicken was a bit bland but the texture was soft and silky and the sauces were excellent!!! I had a chicken rice at Mandarin Oriental last week which set me back HK$168 so in comparison this place is really good value for money... highly recommend the chicken rice.

The laksa and bak kut teh were also superb...especially the bak kut teh which was served piping hot. The biggest surprise was the nonya style prawns... it was super yummy! Tho each dish only had 6 pieces so we only managed to have one piece each


The waiters were attentive and professional so overall a great experience! Will most definitely be back!

You pay a premium here because of the presentation, the views, and for the location (you must admit the views are nice - In fact, the food also looks nice...until you taste it)

In my opinion, you may as well save your money and spend it on a flight to Singapore. That way you get even better views, and significantly better food (even while eating Airline Food!!!!!)

To me, the best Singaporean food in Hong Kong is Katong in Sheung Wan, Mercer St. No Joke. All at 1/3 the price of Hainan Shaoye, much better quality, quantity and most importantly TASTE!

C'mon guys, the REAL reason why the chef left Chatterbox is because he MUST HAVE BEEN FIRED!

告別雷氏後,與老公前出走銅鑼灣SOGO,後來wtc拜見大名鼎鼎海南少爺。少爺果然夠紅夠人氣,約七時抵達要排廿多分鐘才有位,令向來心急的我又要吃又要炆.... 在此實在要多謝老公的百般遷就! 終於有位,別看店外火紅的招牌搶眼又醒目,店門口的鳥籠設計又繞有風情,店內環境其實很一般,偏黃偏暗的燈光其實很難拍照。不過來這裡最主要還是滿足口腹之慾,一早參考了Janice blog及OR眾多食評,是晚目標清晰明確---衝著油飯來! 是晚二人點了一份海南雞飯餐,另加散叫油飯,及半打沙爹串燒,介紹如下: 海南雞飯($88)-聽說雞脾夠滑但無雞味,就放棄加$10的升級選項,然而雞胸部份之雞味仍然不濃,還是與獅城吃的有所出入;不過其肉質也算嫩滑,肥瘦均稱也算中上水準。除了主角雞南雞,套餐還有不少配件,包括不過不失的油菜;以茶壺上、鮮味濃郁不過油的美味雞湯;還有一上檯以為是調味醬一部分,而原來是小吃的皮蛋豆腐慕絲! 這慕絲口感creamy,濃郁皮蛋味與清新豆腐互相平衡,果然有驚喜! 當然少不了整餐的靈魂-----油飯,這裡的出品色澤深黃,望見已經大喜;一試果然軟熟米飯中,滿有陣陣豐富油香,那份油潤感令人覺得

沙爹串燒($48)大概店內太忙,串燒比海南雞飯遲了整整半小時才上檯,又要等真不耐煩... 不過除了等待費時,食物本是幾值欣賞的:首先店成可讓客人自由組合豬、牛、雞幾款肉類,是晚與老公就一次過試足三樣;更重要是三款串燒都烤得香嫩可口,每一款都保持適當肉汁,尤其是雞肉可謂超嫩滑,再配上店方特調的香濃惹味沙爹醬,實在美味!
 
很久沒這樣放肆吃飯,吃到超飽的一餐埋單$170,個人覺得很滿意;而是晚選擇得宜,也與各食友肯坦白分享所食所感大有關係,參考食評真的可以助人避過很多地雷,以及發掘更多寶藏。所以,繼續努力清食評!

what a disappointment.nothing remotely close to authentic singapore's cuisine.we had the bah kut teh set and added on satay, turnip cake and rojak.-soup was bland-satay was passable-turnip was the hk style version disguised with sweet black sauce-rojak was the worse. sauce was very watery with zero taste of prawn paste. the vegetables were cut into cubes which was totally not how it should be done.all in all, will not go back again.reinforce our belief that authentic singaporean fare in hk does

喜歡海南雞飯的我,見到雜誌介紹世貿呢間餐廳於是去試一試。店好旺,不少菜式都好似好好味…我梗係要試下招牌海南雞飯,再叫左肉骨茶,海鮮釀油條及龍蝦叻沙。- HK$88 招牌海南雞飯套餐用一個餐盤上,除了雞,油飯又有油菜、雞湯、以及一個加有皮蛋的燉蛋小食 (mouse)。海南雞好好味又juicy,皮下脂肪頗薄,雞飯味道香濃無覺得“漏”-很久沒有食過這麼好味的雞飯!- 海鮮釀油條,炸得好香脆,裡頭的蝦膠味道出眾,再加上D芝麻 - 夠香口。- 肉骨茶味道唔太濃 ,排骨都幾淋,好入味又真係無味精wow! - 叻沙D材料好足,龍蝦和海鮮等都很鮮味。湯底好濃、帶點椰香和辣味、森巴醬味道與海鮮好配好惹味! 有機會去試試的話,記得點海南雞飯套餐!
