A friend and I were looking for a place for casual dining in Causeway Bay, and found Fleur de Sel by pure coincidence. I wanted to see whether there was a worthy alternative to La Crêperie.We started with two savory galettes:La Bretonne - this was OK, although there were only 3 scallops along with mushrooms, asparagus and lardons. A friend and I were looking for a place for casual dining in Causeway Bay, and found Fleur de Sel by pure coincidence. I wanted to see whether there was a worthy alternative to La Crêperie.

We started with two savory galettes:
La Bretonne - this was OK, although there were only 3 scallops along with mushrooms, asparagus and lardons. Portion was smaller than I expected, and honestly the galette was too soft and wet. I prefer it dry and a little crispy. It also came lukewarm and went cold after a couple of minutes when we had snapped our pictures.

La Guéméné - I have no idea why this was called Guéméné, since it was made with andouille de Vire and not andouille de Guéméné... It was kinda pathetic, actually, with only 3 thin slices of the delicious sausage along with some Emmental. Absolutely no comparison whatsoever with the one I had at Le Petit Josselin in Paris. Again, the galette was just too soft and wet.

We moved on to two sweet crêpes:
Crêpe à la banane et au caramel beurre salé - this was not bad. The caramelized banana, with salted butter caramel and a scoop of Mövenpick caramel ice cream made for a yummy combination.

La Bomba - the pineapple confit, raisins and espresso ice cream were flambéed with rum. This was OK but I was getting very full by this point.

We also drank a bottle of sweet cider from Le Clos des Ducs.

This was definitely a filling meal, but I much prefer La Crêperie both for the quality as well as the price-performance ratio. Not likely to make a return visit here...

i went there at lunch and there was nobody, i ordered La Supreme which is pan fry duck foie gras. SO, i dont know how the crepe work in this dish. it just didnt work for me, first of all the foie gras is tiny, like i can eat it in one bite. it tastes like sheeet. everyone can put this sheet together at home in like 7 mins, and i can use goose foie gras by rougie instead. it was such a rip off. i would rather go to cafe de carol than spending 250 on this. roarrrrr!!!

聽經理介紹過,於是我們分別叫了La Toulouse和La terre-neuve一起分著吃,結果兩份也相當不錯呢。先講前者,係經理推介非常值得一吃的,材料有smoked sausage, french mustard, cheese等等,sausage食落是幾頗香口的,不過個人覺得質感好像實了一點點,但配合其他材料一樣好吃,很多洋蔥全部切得細細非常香甜,french mustard不是很多,每一口吃下卻有淡淡的香味,味道幾夾的,加上芝士真的香口好吃~

La terre-neuve則有smoked salmon, egg, spinach等,兩份crepe餅皮皆有幾香蕎麥味,邊邊有點脆口,中間的則有點點煙靱~ 這個賣相來到很吸引,把蛋漿混在一起和三文魚菠菜一起吃,味道不錯~ 三文魚味道幾鹹香,菠菜味道稍淡卻能中和一下芝士的膩,雖不太吃到double cream的味道,但整體也是好吃的~

最後我們意猶未盡,還叫了一款甜的share吃。朋友不愛caramel,我們就要了簡單的banana & chocolate~ 甜的crepe永遠也不會難吃的,餅底依舊煙靱,香蕉吃到點點焦糖的味道,個人是很喜歡啦,加上又甜又香濃的朱古力醬,當然非常不錯啦,我們吃完真的又飽又滿足啦。

聽經理說lunch time非常爆滿,要來的話一定要預訂呢~ 整體味道不錯,下次想吃crepe一定會來這裡的,還有多款甜crepe我想試呢。=)

終於有位了,一行六人(魔)坐下後,也理不了小店以海鹽為名,在美麗可人的shop manager Angel介紹下,是日一連掃了六款甜的crepe!! 可以說,是將小店內最具特色的甜crepe一次掃光,很滿足!

 
很想吃Crepe suzette,即是橙酒班戟,不過Angel建議我們改試這款平日在街少吃的La Bomba($78),又好。這是一款由糖醃菠蘿、冧酒加上咖啡味雪糕的薄戟,當日雪糕臨時改為焦糖雪糕,而冧酒是於上檯後才淋上的。其實我認為酒味不夠濃,然而薄身軟滑、既富蛋香又牛油味的熱暖薄戟,配上香甜美味的雪糕,並襯以菠蘿及淡淡酒香,整體十分甜美和諧,幾好食的!

第二款上場是Crepe with banana, caramel & salted butter sauce($60+$10),大家決定加$10要多球焦糖雪糕。差點忘了講,此店全部用上高質又美味的movenpick雪糕,每球只收$10其實是超值! 而這個香甜中帶一點咸,口味豐富又多變的組合,亦是當日巧遇的蝗蟲的推介,果然又是好吃!

來到Crepe au Kinder surprise($45+$20),薄戟之上竟然有個薄脆小兜,中間盛著一隻kinder出奇蛋,沒花沒假真是kinder surprise! 將出奇蛋轉贈可愛的Kaka後,眾人慢慢享受這薄薄富彈性的crepe,拌上半融朱古力,以及高質素雙球雪糕(選了富有朱古力薄片Swiss chocolate及帶有雲尼拿籽的Vanilla雪糕),說不好吃是騙你的,不過這款crepe比起其他少了特色,建議有多餘quota才選點。

之後有La poire($65),一款由由焦糖香梨、雲尼拿雪糕加朱古力醬組成的薄戟,其中用所的香梨甜美中見清新,在一眾甜crepe最能突出果香,喜歡清甜味的食友不可錯過!

接著的La calvados($65),是一款由gingerbread、apples及焦糖雪糕組成的薄戟,其中蘋果的甜度很高,與焦糖香蕉頗似;而gingerbread就為大家帶來一絲剛過的聖誕氣氛,整個組合也是甜蜜幸福的。另外想講很多款的crepe都選配上了焦糖雪糕,可movenpick的出品真是令人百吃不厭,每次吃到仍然感動味蕾!

最後是另一酒味出品L'After Eight($92),那是由朱古力雪糕、朱古力醬、get 27薄荷酒,以及after eight薄荷朱古力組成的薄戟,Angel細心教我們先淨食crepe,之後再加薄荷酒,以感受酒前酒後的不同滋味。相比那杯綠色的冰涼薄荷酒,個人絕對更喜歡雪糕上那片after eigth薄荷朱古力,為整件crepe添上香濃中帶清新的滋味!

這餐法式薄戟下午茶,加一後埋單$480,大家都吃得滿足,所以覺得物有所值。值得注意的是,小店還未有信用卡裝置,所以暫時只收現金;另外小店全名實為Fleur de Sel Crepe Wine Cafe,然而是日除了兩款酒味crepe,未有涉獵其他酒類了,有待其他食友發掘了!

This cafe is quite easy to find surprisingly. Once we get in we saw the very hot chief haha and a pretty waitress who explained to us that we need to wait a while to be seated as they are quite pack today. So we sat outside for a while in the balcony and ordered our food. My friends ordered the caramelized pear with chocolate sauce and hot chocolate both of them told me they are nice. My crepe is amazing as well. The coffee chocolate has little bits of chocolate making it taste like mocha I wou

早兩日見食友喺 Facebook post 了呢度的 La Complete 相片, 引到我流晒口水, 2011 年第一餐就捉了朋友陪我上嚟試試. 同上次食 La Creperie (http://www.openrice.com/restaurant/commentdetail.htm?commentid=2110138) 一樣, 2 人叫一人一鹹 crepe 各自食, 另 share 一份甜的, 印象很不錯:-

鹹 crepe 揀了 La Super Complete, 有 ham, cheese, egg 及 mushroom: 將生蛋黃拮穿, 拌勻芝士, 火腿及 wild mushrooms 同吃, 當然預期中的香, 濃及膩, 正! Crepe 皮又係 buckwheat 造的吧? 比 La Creperie 的薄身, 食落無咁乾, 麥味亦無咁突出, 不過相信係因為 crepe 中間的配料較濃味而已, 加加埋埋效果係不錯, 食完亦勁飽足


朋友食 La Toulouse, 有 smoked sausage, cheese 及 onion... 只試了少少 smoked sausage 覺得幾香口, 而見朋友好快又清碟, 相信整體都不錯吧.

甜 crepe 就係唔記得乜名的 banana + caramel + salted butter sauce... crepe 皮帶蛋香, 質地鬆軟, 配上香甜軟熟的 caramelised banana 及又鹹又甜, 但好香 caramel 味的 salted butter caramel 醬汁, 2 人 3 分鐘唔夠就清了碟!

餐廳地方本已不大, 公眾假期的 lunch hour 仲要超級多人, 坐低好迫; casualwear 經理姐姐十分友善有禮, 西裝店員哥哥就 cool 到嚇死人, 招呼有好有唔好吧.

埋單每人約 $120, 比 La Creperie 平少少, 食物我就覺得兩邊差不多, 值得試試的.

臨走時仲巧遇「甜魔會」「會長」伉儷及幾位「會員」準備掃餐牌

閱過雜誌, 認識fleur de sel這間私房菜

他們的apple cider聞起來已經有蘋果香氣, 還有淡淡的酒味
喝起來也是, 充滿蘋果跟梳打混合的清新味道, 配上2%的酒精, 淡酒香令味道變得有層次
這個apple cider比我之前喝多的更甜一點更香一點, 我們好愛喝~!

裡面放了煙三文魚, 菠菜, 中間再放一顆太陽蛋, 上面淋上double cream
先把太陽蛋漿拌勻, 大家各切了一部份, 煙三文魚本身的鹹香味很夠而鹹味不重
double cream有淡淡的奶香, 薄薄的一層不會把整個crepe變膩
菠菜卻是意想不到的甜, 這種菜甜味是我很少吃到的, 配上三文魚跟double cream的鹹是一個很讚的配搭

12. La Bretonne (scallops with mushroom, bacon, asparagus with white wine sauce)
這個crepe的賣相跟吃過的不同, 把餅皮做成三角形, 再把材料放上去
把餅皮摺厚點是防止白酒醬汁把餅皮變糊掉
餅皮雖然變厚了點, 但還是很好吃, 蕎麥味比之前更能吃得出來

帶子不是很大顆, 但有鮮味在, 炒過的煙肉跟菇類所有的香都提了出來
蘆筍獨特的味道把所有食材變得清新
還有白酒跟淡忌廉做成的醬汁把這個crepe的主材料帶點濃郁的味道, 不錯吃

餅皮方面上面提及過了, 鴨肝煎得很香很香
吃起來豐潤甘香可口, 雖然比不上鵝肝的香度, 但也已經好好吃
最讚的不是鴨肝, 而是他的洋蔥跟蘋果!
洋蔥做成蘋果洋蔥醋醬, 用上意大利黑醋跟白酒醋還有蘋果煮成的洋蔥
洋蔥獨特的香氣加上醋酸, 帶上蘋果的清新甜味, 不得了的好吃
不喜歡吃洋蔥的朋友也覺得這個好好吃
蘋果切成一塊一塊的, 跟cidre chutney還有紅酒煮過, 咬蘋果卻能吃得到洋蔥的香味
兩者味道混合的好好吃! 我們都舉起來六根姆指給大廚~! 大推他們的la supreme

因為吃過蘋果, 想試試看大廚會把梨子做成怎樣
餅皮因為是甜食, 所以換成用小麥粉做成, 比較細滑, 能配合甜味的細緻度

上面舖了焦糖煮過的梨子, 朱古力醬跟香草雪糕
熱熱的李子甜度剛好, 焦糖香滿滿地包著梨子外面, 跟餅皮雪糕朱古力醬一起吃有著不同的質感跟味道
四種不同的甜食走在一起也是很合, 跟平常比較常吃的蘋果有著不同的味道, 但把所有食材配起來也很好吃

這個也是Angel推薦的甜點, 比較特別的是有薄荷味道的酒
朱古力雪糕跟醬汁富可可香, 不會太甜, 味道很濃郁, 雪糕質感蠻滑的

最重要的是吃這個crepe要邊喝點薄荷酒, 坦白說, 單喝這個酒是很像嗽口水的味道
但加上朱古力味的話, 薄荷朱古力味道是會自自然然地走在一起
本身這兩種味道是很配合的, 但加上餅皮, 出奇地好吃!
吃這個的時候記得咀裡要保留朱古力, 不然光喝酒就會變不好吃

這是一家很用心做菜的私房餐廳! 原來大廚來頭不少喔

Cozy little restaurant with a patio. It was too cold to eat outside the day I went there but should be nice on a fine day.Ordered the most basic cheese and ham Crepe and a cider. Very authentic taste. With the open kitchen you can see the French chef cooking your crepe with carefulness. The manager and the waitress was very friendly as well. Since the place is not too big, it could be a perfect venue for a private party. Last order 11:00pm, good if you get out of work late.

同多年冇見的朋友見面, 原先想去銅鑼灣的另一間上樓cafe, 但因為冇位, 所以就左行右行搵另一個可以傾計食飯的地方。誤打誤撞去到呢間餐廳, 雖然地方不算十分寬敞, 但總算有一個可以唔俾人趕住食0既地方。廚房由法國廚師主理, 招呼人客的侍應及老闆都十分friendly, 餐廳有露台位, 可以方便吸煙人士。我同朋友都唔太肚餓, 只點了一個最普通的galette (名字忘記了, egg, ham, cheese and mushroom), 香味十足, 味道亦唔錯。呢個combination不會很易出錯, 所以下次會試另一個味道。有一個問題, 就係唔好掛住講野唔食野, 凍左就唔太好食。飲品要左cranberry juice, earl grey tea, 兩樣都冇問題, 比較細杯。除左食物, service都非常好, 侍應見我地飲品飲完, 即刻奉上水, 仲要好貼心, 係暖水, 唔係凍水冰水或滾水。餐廳有會員制, 可以登記做會員, 接收會員資訊。

This place is, indeed, French. The service was pretty good, If the season is right, get an outside table.
traditional French meal, the crêpe is delicious! I had the salad appetizer, which was pretty small but that was all I really needed. We shared a really great desert of vanilla mousse too. also highly recommend the Scollop dish, fresh n yummy!
The atmosphere is both calm and quaint, the perfect ambiance for a romantic dinner for two.
The only thing that could make this restaurant better is for them to put some music on, the mood will be much more better.
To new places, new experiences and new adventures! - will be back.

Very tasty galettes (French specialty) and nice environment. Everything is prepared with great skills by the experienced and creative French chef.I'll definitely come back.Keep it up!

I like the la surpreme, duck liver....delicious^^and the price is good.i will try the others. the aperitif is good taste.remember apply the membership card, the manager said will have special event for french food only for member. and it is free.>-< the chef is from HK french consulate and macau rebochon
