We had 2 savoury crepes, 2 dessert crepes, shared a bottle of sweet cider.The savoury crepes were better than the sweet ones but weren't cooked very well.I expected them to be a bit more dry with a touch of crispy edges from the cheese.The texture was a bit soggy.Still hungry after my galette.Ordered the limoncello crepe for dessert which was supposed to be served with passionfruit mango sorbet.I was looking forward to the light fruity flavour mixed with tart lemon custard.It arrived with a smal

We had 2 savoury crepes, 2 dessert crepes, shared a bottle of sweet cider.

Ordered the limoncello crepe for dessert which was supposed to be served with passionfruit mango sorbet.
I was looking forward to the light fruity flavour mixed with tart lemon custard.
It arrived with a small ball of chocolate ice cream.
When I saw it, I asked te waiter if there was a mistake - I'd ordered the limoncello.
He apologised and said there was a problem withe kitchen - no more passionfruit ice, and he thought chocolat was a good combo with lemon.

I think restaurants should always let people know if they need to substitute something.
Especially chocolate instead of fruit!
I love chocolate, but the passionfruit was what made me order it.

The chocolate was too heavy, killed the rest of the flavours.
The lemon custard tasted old and stale like it had picked up some flavour from something else in the fridge.

The food was only so-so, service was ok, tables too close together though nice atmosphere.
Maybe they had an off night, but it was too expensive for the quality we got and I didn't feel satisfied by the food or the experience.

My friend was happy with his chocolate dessert crepe, but agreed it wasn't good value for the money.

跟 Fleur de Sel 的第一次相遇,是一次午餐。 那時是有 set lunch 的,不過還是重點寫薄餅吧。

這是 La Complète (現價 $68) 就是火腿、芝士和雞蛋的鹹薄餅 galette,這個組合似乎比較像早餐吃的東西,不過一天到晚都可以吃早餐的我就歡迎之至。

餡料豐富,又有煎蛋的豐盈蛋汁,實在沒有難吃的理由,只是用蕎麥粉煎成的鹹薄餅,其麥香卻沒有另一家的強,不過害怕蕎麥帶點甘苦的味道就應該會比較容易接受它。

甜的薄餅 crèpe 就有 Crêpe au caramel et beurre salé (Caramel & salted butter, 現價 $46),差不多的款式在灣仔的 LA Creperie 也有,這邊的焦糖鹽味牛油醬味道沒有那邊的重,餅也煎得沒有那麼細緻。
[註:本身是不連雪糕球的,要另加$12,不過加了會好吃得多。]

Tea Set 也有吃過,當時寫下的評語是這樣的(用了口語):
「呢個有 Macaron + ice cream 嘅 crepe 原來有名嘅,就係叫 La Macaron,但無論個 crepe 底同個 caramel sauce 都係 LA Creperie 好啲,呢度個 crepe 太厚,個 sauce 唔多夠牛油味。」記憶中跟餐的咖啡(或茶)質素一般。

Végétarienne ($75),配料有 Emmental 芝士、蘑菇、Ratatouille (普羅旺斯燉菜)和菠菜,色彩奪目,每種蔬菜都很鮮甜,就是那個 Ratatouille 裡面的茄子和翠玉瓜比較硬一些。Galette 皮今次有進步,邊位再脆一點比較好。

甜的 crêpe Crêpe Au Citron ($41) 是最簡單的牛油薄餅,附上一角檸檬供自行擠出檸檬汁在薄餅上之用。可惜 crêpe 皮相當之厚和韌,別的也沒有什麼好說了。

這杯 Dry Cider ($48) 倒是在沒什麼選擇的情況之下點的,誰叫這裡的服務真的是那麼法式,沒有免費水提供,不喝白不喝,索性來杯 cider。我對酒精類飲品向來無甚研究,只知這杯其實沒有想像般 dry,似喝蘋果汁多過喝酒。

看來短期之內,香港吃 crêpe 的地方也不出 Fleur de Sel 和 LA Creperie ,這邊較好坐但那邊的 crêpes 水準又高一點,怎麼選擇就要看大家的口味和要求了。

星期日好開心, 難得同友人可以星期日過一個好hea既假期, 所有唔開心既事都好似一掃而空. 自己做完facial就同友人會合..一早已經打算來此店試下佢地既crepe...1時半左右到達, 好彩都有位未至於full house,不過地方都唔多, 選擇坐indoor...其實踏入店內經過一條長長既走廊已經好喜歡, 加上用白色做主色更加令我喜歡此小店. 2個人各叫一個甜香蕉朱古力醬薄餅+焦糖雪糕, 另外一個係煙香腸洋蔥芝士薄餅, 友人叫左杯latte. 因怕雪糕溶既關係我地都係ko左個甜crepe先....個香焦用焦糖煮過真係好好味配上朱古力醬同雪糕真係一口接一口無停過. 之後再分享埋咸薄餅, 估唔到2個crepes都 同樣出色個腸好香好正中間仲有好多煮過既洋蔥一流, 不過我覺得個芝士就麻麻地好似好漏..不過整體來講2個crepe我都好喜歡..之於杯latte就麻麻, 唔算好香咖啡香濃味.

不過整體來講2個crepe我都好喜歡..之於杯latte就麻麻, 唔算好香咖啡香濃味.

看似簡簡單單的法式薄餅,其實源自法國西北部沿海的布列塔尼(Brittany),不知不覺間已有近千年歷史;當時Brittany的水手從中東帶來蕎麥(buckwheat)並製之成餅,由於廉價得來營養豐富,平民遂將蕎麥薄餅作為主糧,其後更傳到法國其他地區成為法國人的common food。他門除了在家自製crêpe,更常到crêperie裡吃,這些法式薄餅專門店,在法國的普遍程度絕不下於我們的茶餐廳! 一個鹹薄餅,加一個甜的,再來杯apple cider,就是一餐。

由於午飯時間總是比較匆忙,未能品嚐「薄餅全餐」,唯有視乎心情而選擇鹹或甜薄餅吃。餓的時候,或許想吃個鹹的galette;沒有胃口時,就會想吃個甜絲絲的crêpe來cheer up自己…

彷如一個加了太陽蛋的素菜pizza,色彩極其豐富,賣相十分吸引。薄薄的餅皮以蕎麥粉加入海鹽和水製成,雖然佈滿小孔,看起來較粗糙,但入口香脆,麥味香濃,十分正宗,加上用茄醬烹調過的雜菜,配合半融的芝士和蛋黃汁,非常美味。

Galette of the week – spinach & cheese

淺啡色的薄餅上鋪滿半融的Emmental和Gorgonzola芝士,還有菠菜和黑橄欖,看起來較單調,入口卻滋味無窮。薄餅香脆可口,煙韌的芝士味道豐富香濃,而清新的菠菜和黑橄欖又剛好平衡了芝士的膩滯感,最喜歡這種既健康又美味的食物!

最經典的一款薄餅,餡料只有芝士、火腿和雞蛋,令我想起傳統的「火腿煎雙蛋」早餐! 由於我不愛吃火腿,所以只淺嚐了一口,感覺較為普通,沒有驚喜。

La Poire – caramelized pear with lavender, crème brulee ice cream & chocolate sauce ($68)

淡黃色的甜薄餅用小麥麵粉製成,比鹹薄餅更薄身,外脆內軟且煙煙韌韌,是我喜歡的質感。熱烘烘的薄餅富有蛋香,配襯清甜的薰衣草焦糖香梨、香濃的朱古力醬,和幼滑的crème brulee雪糕,一冷一熱,瞬間充滿了甜蜜幸福的感覺。

吃crêpe又怎能少得apple cider? 因為Brittany盛產蘋果,法國人便就地取材拿蘋果來釀酒,味道分sweet和dry兩種。 這裡的cider很不錯,杯子放到嘴邊已聞到清幽的蘋果香! Sweet apple cider入口既有微微的酒香,又有香甜濃郁的果味;dry apple cider則酒味重一點兒,果味亦相對較輕,不過兩款皆討人歡喜,一向習慣喝熱飲的我,面對著冷冰冰的cider也忍不住多喝兩口。

很多人都拿La Crêperie 和 Fleur de Sel來比較: 論環境,我會喜歡較寧靜優雅的Fleur de Sel;論食物,Fleur de Sel的水準似乎較穩定,但La Crêperie又有較多的選擇 (crêpe和galette的款式較多,而且還有appetizer,pasta和 dessert) ,所以不妨到兩間法式小店體驗兩種截然不同的感受吧!

We saw a show about crepes on TV the night before so we decided to try the recommended one in the video. However, it was exceedingly full with a long line so we changed to Plan B: Fleur de Sel. It is the first time I have come to this restaurant to try french crepes so I tried the traditional one, with ham, cheese, egg and salad. My mother had ratatouille with tuna. Both 'gallettes' were delicious and I enjoyed them tremendously.Then we ordered a crepe as dessert. It had lavender flavor pear and

我是大鄉里一名, 一直以為crepe 一定是甜的, 原來crepe 可以是咸的, 今天終於見識了。這裡在銅鑼灣一標舊樓的二樓, 店主為法國人, 所以營業時間都比較飄忽, 之前摸過幾次門釘,有心來吃的最好先致電。我點了La Super Complete 有蛋, 火腿, 芝士, 磨菇, 早晨全餐一樣, 薄餅真的很薄, 而且很香 ,香來先麵粉, 賣相如一幅畫那樣美, 但不會不捨得把它吃掉呢!食crepe 要配Apple cider, 是自家製的, 有甜, 有dry , 我選的是dry , 有一點酒精, 很香的蘋果味, 可以單點或叫一瓶。這裡環境不錯, 也有戶外的地方可以吸煙, 下午來可以悠閒地消磨一個下午, 幻想自己身在法國。

我的加了焦糖雪糕,雪糕焦糖味不算濃,但勝在入面有脆餅,很有咬口,不過crepe則有點膩

crepe的價錢比la crexxxxx平,選擇較少,這店的crepe餅底是較煙韌的,我比較喜歡脆口的,那種較好吃真是各花入各眼,唯一我覺得美中不足是沒有很香的牛油味。

朋友還點了bloody orange, 味道有點像藥水,不建議喝。

此店環境寧靜,在此與良朋一聚真是不錯的選擇,有置身鬧市以外的感覺。

La Ferre- Neuve
(Side Sausage, Cheese, French Mustard, Onion)
以蕎麥粉搓出來的呈現深啡色的, 材料比我想像中削, 只有三片腸仔和一墟生菜, 車尼茄等放在一旁。薄如紙的餅皮上充滿著一個個氣孔, 麥香亦不太凸出, 亦可能是當中的芥末辛香和咸味重的腸仔把麥味蓋過來, 煎至燶邊的香腸也挺油潤惹味的, 而洋蔥和芝士也不是什麼貴價材料, 可以放多小小, 不致感覺是那麼[小家]啊, 正如之前所說, crepe那麼精巧,作為小食還可以。

(Smoked Salmon, egg, Spinach, Double Cheese)
此款Crepe明顯豐富很多, 色彩亦繽紛吸引, 當中的煙燻三文魚最得的歡心,
咸咸香香十分美味, 配上那荷包蛋, 菠菜, 半溶芝士絕對合而為一, 味道豐富, 感覺充實
後來索性以餅皮卷著那些材料同食, 更加滋味過癮


兩款比較我絕對是後者的粉絲, 但對我來說還是試過便算了。
再祝我最愛的老友, 永遠開開心心

Weekday睇concert前around 730黎, 可能時間尚早, 去到淨得另一檯客. 入面裝修都幾港式café feel. 有個小露台但坐低唔會望到街境. 嚮香港由法國人開的crepe, 淨係食過la creperie, 所以成晚係甘比較…選擇呢度冇la creperie甘多. (但其實個人覺得la creperie好難揀, 因為太多選擇)叫左個Italian crepe. 有parma ham, salami 同cheese. The tables were so closely packed together that you could listen in to conversations around you unintentionally and to make things worse, the local Hongkies were so noisy.

The poor guy at Fleur de Sel was irritated by the noise and he could not answer the phone due to the background noise.

Although the environment was too noisy, the food surely made up for it.
The decoration of the place was really good, European interior in Hong Kong.
The corridor/passage at the entrance was amazing, it’s similar to those underground passages/tunnels which will sure win everyone’s admiration.
The grey bricks and decor of the corridor reminded me of the medievel times and old castles


After browsing the menu, most of the crepes and fillings were the same as La Creperie and Kramp House, so I chose the duck which is not offered in the other two, I wanted to try the duck liver as well, maybe next time.
As well as the duck, I chose the beef one to compare it with LC.

La Parisienne [minced beef, cheese, onion, tomato egg]
This was different to La Crepe, the minced beef was served like a beef patty, whilst at LC the minced was spread evenly inside the crepe.
I preferred the LC one because it tasted strong, however the cheese at LC was different.

La Salardaise [duck confit, mushrooms, potato, parsley, and garlic sauce]
This was my favour, tender pieces of shredded duck leg meat on the crepe, and juicy mushrooms.
The roasted potatoes on the crepe were brilliant too, slightly crisp and sautéed on the outside, and soft inside without oily taste.
The amount of duck on the crepe was generous too.

Visit Fleur de Sel on a weekday afternoon...i love the corridor of their place while the interior decoration was pretty nice and cozy too.they do have a mini balcony, which is great for spending a lazy afternoon there.this is my first time to try french crepe & pear cideri forgot the name of this dish, but the presentation was reli goodand it made me hungry when it was delivered to my table!!!it tastes good, but i would be much better if the crepe can be more crispy.....

伴隨着自由選擇味道的雪榚球,是次選了Vanilla(雲呢拿)。

先說雪榚球,雪榚球上明顯有粒粒的雲呢拿籽,而且不是虛有其表,也是充滿雲呢拿味。
質感也相當柔滑,不帶半點冰粒,在熱烘烘的薄餅上也不容易溶化。
加上表面乾涸的焦糖漿,與Häagen-Dazs的焦糖味十分相似,亦不盡相同,其實只是焦糖濃度上的分別。

Crêpe的表面遍滿焦糖漿,顏色上是半焦的焦糖,味道也沒太大焦味,甜度當然較高,單說焦糖漿方面甚得我心。
Crêpe帶微溫,與雪榚球正好來個冰火交融,雪榚溶液與焦糖漿混合後亦是另一番滋味。
只是蛋味略微,在厚薄上十分得宜。
焦糖香蕉夾在Crêpe裡意外的匹配,但份量太少,吃六口Crêpe才有一塊能夾上一小片的焦糖香蕉,很煞興致。
整體來說,味道是配合的,不過仍有進步空間就是了。

La Toulouse - The crepe was very crispy. Comapred to crepes I have had in UK and in HK,you can tell these are more authentic. These are more thin whereas the 'crepes' out there are quite thick and very filling. as they are so thick, you can taste the flour and egg mixture. the ones here at Fleur de Sel you cannot taste the Flour taste. The crepe is crispy and you can faintly taste the egg taste in it.
The crepe was flat, with 3 sausage near the middle, nicely seperated.

The sauce was drizzled on top with cheese. It certainly didn't look as colouful as the other crepe we ordered. But once you have the first bite, it was so delicious, you won't put down your fork. As the sauce is mainly in the middle the edge was very plain. So i would cut a piece of the plain crepe from the corner and dab a bit of teh musturd in the centre. it was so tasty. The sausage was quite big, i didn't like th sausage though. I wasn't expecting any taste in particular and i still cannot imagine which type of sausage would go well with the crepe. The sausage they used here was rather sweet, Like an apple tasting sausage. it was wierd. But was nice if you cut up a little piece by piece and eat with some crepe and musturd.I liked how the onions are spreaded out in the crepe, so with every mouth full you will get some onion.

La Super Complete- When this crepe came, it immediately took the spotlight off La Toulouse. This crepe was more colourful. You have the crepe then the pink of the ham, then you have the white and yellow of the gg right in the middle. Looked super delicious. couldn't wait to dig in. But once I dug in I realized the crepe was crispy like La Toulouse. This one was rather soggy and soft, and you can taste the egg and flour thick mixture. even if i had it with some ham, It was rather tasteless. Unlike La Toulouse it had the mustard, this crepe has no sauce. So I would have expected more cheese, but there was hardly any cheese apart from on the side.

I liked the crepe on the La Toulouse more as it was crispier. I had a question in mind which was how was i suposed to eat this crepe. the egg was perfectly cooked in the middle. as a habit, I have always kept the egg yolk to the last, and would eat the egg yolk as a whole. But for this, I think it was to poke the egg yolk and let the egg yolk run out and use it as a sauce. After you do that, half the crepe is covered with the egg yolk. It was very tasty but still, the other half of the crepe was sauceless and tasteless. Even the egg white did not taste much of anything.
Although there are flaws the crepe was still enjoyable. i loved the part with cheese and egg yolks.

Atmosphere: This placed is on 2nd floor of what iw ould call a residential building. but there are many stores and cafes up there too. you might find it quite strange walking into the building. you will not find their name or photo downstairs on teh ground floor, so please remember it is on the 2nd floor/. There are two lifts. It might seems like the outside of the lift is the OLD lifts where you have to open the door yourself and close it. But inside there is another automatic door that closes itself. Then you should turn left upon arriving on 2nd floor. Walk down and you will see the restaurant signs.

I liked the atmosphere inside, dimmed with some lighting, not too bright. Music coming out from the kitchen, wasn't too loud, just playing soulfully at the background. there were few tables, about 5-6 tables inside. there are some sofa seatings. You can sit on the outside too, there are about 2-3 tables outside. There are no air conditioner inside, only a couple of fans, and one wasn't even on. i noticed there was a fan outside too, so shouldn't be too hot. the walls are grey, the seats are grey with some colourful cushions by the sofa seatings. The place is quite small which makes it quite cosy. Open bar area which you can look into the kitchenw hile the chef is cooking.

Service: once we have walked into the restuarant, we were greeted by one of the guy who was serving. Which i believe is French. He greeted us with a warm smile and asked how we were doing. I loved that, i havent been asked how I am since i have left London. he then asked if we would like to sit outside or inside. we sat down inside and he gave us a menu while he served the table next to us. i paid attention on how he served others. He was very warm and nearly smiled everytime his customers was ordering or talking. He later then came back to us to take our order and quickly took our order down.

He was also the one who served us the crepe and nicely told us which one was which. half way through, he also asked how our meal was going. You don't get much of that in hong Kong. A good restaurant should always consider or put their custumers satisfactory or comments as priority. And i don't mean asking how you are and walk off straight away, but liek what he did- comes over , ask how it is, look you in the eye and smile. Then listens then walk away.

Our plates were not taken away till quite later which i like, that means you are allowed to appreciate the food and how it fills you up with satifaction. instead of handing you the bill straight away with interupt the feeling of satisfaction. we asked for the bill, and he kindly handed the bill to us.

Upon leaving, we walked past the kitchen. the chef said 'bye' then asked how it was. i told him it was fantastic. He then asked me ' took lovely pictures?" I said yes, lovely pictures, and he let me take a picture of him.

He was awfully kind, and I loved his attitude in making interaction with his costumers. I have not yet tried the crepe place in wanchai, but this place has won me over with its warmth and friendliness already!

I have wanted to try this place since it was opened, but whether it was fate or just no luck, every time I came, itw as either full house, or closed. This time I made a BIG effort to come for dinner. it ahs been a good few years since it has opened, and I expected it won't be as packed since the 'Crepe' craze has cooled down. when I arrived there was one table inside and one table outside taken. But after a while another 3 tables were taken. it is still busy and popular, and i know the reason why.
The crepe is nicely made, tin and crispy with generous amount of fillings. i loved how they don't just give you a crepe on its own, but with abit of salad too, just to freshen up and make it less guilty. There are wide arrange of crepes to choose from, there are savory and sweet crepe. so much that i wanted to try them all. I can't wait til next time to go try other flavour crepe.

I was planning to have 1 savory and 1 sweet crepe, but as there were wide range of savory crepe and they all seemed delicious, i couldnt help but choose two savory and was planning get 1 sweet crepe afterwards. But you would never have expected, having the crepe really filled me up. it looked so thin and flat, but fills you up right to the top. No more room for the sweet crepe, such a shame. I would recommend to share a crepe so you can taste more. I would definately go for one that has a sauce like the one with mustard that i chose.

Their service was spot on. they were friendly, and that I mean, they were NOT fake friendly which soem restaurant do. They chat to you and make sure your food is good. Leaving a good costumer service image to you will promote more business and i liked their approach. Only thing I did not like and hope they will consider about is serving water. they do not serve any water so you would need to order drinks. that is a good business strategy but being a 'considerate' host, youw ould like your costumers to enjoy the food bit more, especially in an NON aircon environment, it would be nice to serve water, it freshens up the taste bud too!
The size of the two crepe is about the same. It takes skills to make them about the same size. Size of the plate but little bit bigger so the corners are sticking out. The drinks however was not special and wasnt worth the price.
