是日「驚喜」乃軟朱古力蛋糕,香甜軟滑,作為 set lunch 的甜品是收貨的。
午餐收人均$298,另加一收費。若它出一個 menu 是齋吃頭盤及甜品收 $188,我會更覺是 value for money!

舊 openrice account 太耐無login,要login既時候竟然忘記了密碼所以要開一個新account打食評了,而新account的第一篇食評,就是H One晚上入座,穿過廚房,有幸坐到窗口位置,個海景真係好正!如果同情人黎食一定好浪漫.但其實整個晚上入座率都係六成左右,環境唔錯,唔算嘈,可能餐廳始終係響中環,人都斯文D吧一坐底就有侍應問我地飲唔飲D水先,但原來係要收錢的礦泉水,成七十蚊一支都幾肉赤,建議餐廳方面先同客人表明水係要收錢既礦泉水會好D....最後我地兩個都點了四道菜的套餐,呢度要讚下餐廳方面的細心,我地表明希望想share,而侍者上每一道菜時都會帶上吉碟比我地,上到主菜時隻碟仲要好熱,呢一點要加分.點完菜後不久,面包便有了,幾款都好好食,尤其有兩隻比較鬆軟,真係好好食,要encore~頭盤我們點了一個蟹肉jelly和鴨肝,一凍一熱,個人比較喜歡鴨肝,煎得岩岩好,唔會煎得太過火.蟹肉jelly也不差,但我食既次序錯左,應該要食凍既蟹肉先,我食左鴨肝先,失敗><~.湯我地點左一個mushroom cappuccino,同蕃茄海鮮湯,兩個都不過不失

最後我地兩個都點了四道菜的套餐,呢度要讚下餐廳方面的細心,我地表明希望想share,而侍者上每一道菜時都會帶上吉碟比我地,上到主菜時隻碟仲要好熱,呢一點要加分.

點完菜後不久,面包便有了,幾款都好好食,尤其有兩隻比較鬆軟,真係好好食,要encore~

頭盤我們點了一個蟹肉jelly和鴨肝,一凍一熱,個人比較喜歡鴨肝,煎得岩岩好,唔會煎得太過火.蟹肉jelly也不差,但我食既次序錯左,應該要食凍既蟹肉先,我食左鴨肝先,失敗><~.

湯我地點左一個mushroom cappuccino,同蕃茄海鮮湯,兩個都不過不失啦~~但如果個mushroom cappuccino可以做得再creamy一D就好了

主菜點了龍蝦同牛肉,份量係細左D,龍蝦好好食,但真係太.......少了~~實在不夠皮,牛就有兩小件,都做得幾soft,肉汁豐富.

最後甜品點了我地最愛的疏乎厘,係橙味,甜品的份量就合理得多,上甜品時仲熱辣辣,作為一個疏乎厘,呢度係完全合格的.

另外要多謝serve我地果位西裝靚仔哥哥,好用心去同我地解釋每道菜既特點,仲比左D意見我地點菜,睇佢個樣傻更更咁,又會同我地講下笑,幾可愛


埋單每人約七百多元,食物係唔錯,服務也很好,但應該有更好選擇吧,不過呢個笑臉,我係會比的^^

好正的lunch semi buffet, 有3款生蠔,好鮮甜,龍蝦是my 飛彿,ham 是我難得接受到的味道,所以吃了半碟,有蟹腳,刺生,沙律。我一向怕羊架,所以無試,但我朋友吃了六件,可見是水準之作。主菜是牛扒,個汁同牛配得好夾,不用點芥末,最後是甜品區,因飽到頂心口,反而變成去品嚐了。最最最值得一提的是紅酒白酒汽酒是任飲的,好易入口,白河好有葡萄香味,日光日白飲到wing wing 地都是第一次

很久沒有越朋友B出來, 她是個很健談很可愛的女生, 亦很愛吃。 愛吃的人都懂吃, 有要求, 所以不能亂挑。選H one的原因很簡單, 之前世界級的名廚都來過這餐廳獻技, 應該唔會令佢失望掛。 朋友都打趣說H one出面除了00粉Pasta, 全海景, 和出色甜品外, 有麵包籃! 試過後又真係特別好食, 尤其secret recipe的H one獨家pesto sauce, , 於小處著眼做好, 加分! 紅蝦意粉方面意粉比紅蝦出色, 是師傅在廚房做出來的意大利麵, 比別店的軟一點卻很煙韌, Pizza的topping沒什麼特出的地方, 但如pasta一樣又是麵粉取勝, , 這餐廳對麵粉的要求很高, 芝士濃香火箭甘苦都蓋不了麵粉本身的麥香, 柔韌質感加上濃郁麥香讓人一試難忘。至於bacon cheese burger此黑馬更能表現大師功架, 一道平平無奇極不顯眼的美國菜, 漢堡肉用上頂級美牛, 別家的漢堡都打得爛溶溶這裡卻感覺到手剁的質感, , 佩服。雪糕很滑, 但重點是biscotti, 開心果跟奶油味道很夾得來, 給這晚劃上完美的句號。

近日很高興朋友與我因為慶祝生日和聖誕節來IFC的西餐廳H One. 是我第一次在IFC吃西餐. 我曾經去過同集團在尖沙咀的Harlan's也覺得不錯.這裡裝修比較高檔,有敵海景.服務態度唔錯,但有一點慢.點餐後,侍應先送上一籃子的麵包,有4至5款麵包.我覺得最好吃是芝士包和長條麵包.除麵包附上的牛油香滑,雖然高脂,但我很喜歡麵包,所以無法子.綠豆蓉加溫泉蛋湯,好濃味,唔錯.牛排好淋有牛肉味,好食.因為肚皮有點爆開,所以無點甜品.結賬需每人$600唔算貴.總說,食物質素好,環境舒適,服務ok,是一家值得再來的優質餐廳.

老細升級請食飯, 帶了班同事到H one食飯裝修當然走高檔路線, 飲住香檳望住無敵海景正頭盤可選自助餐,有Parma Ham海鮮三文魚小小熟食咁亦可選starter , 我就選了加四十元的鵝旰魚好滑, 好好食呢個係類似牛腩部位牛排不錯豬普通湯同甜品普通呢度主要食靚景,味度唔錯,但三四佰完一個午餐,應該會有更好選擇吧.

Reservation
I requested a window table, which they were unable to confirm on spot because '... window seats/tables would be assigned according to the request list..." When we arrived the place till we finised the dinner, there were only TWO tables (including ours) in the whole evening. Why couldnt' H ONE confirm my window table request when I made the reservation, but painting me a picture that their window seats/tables were already over-booked? 何解要甘作状?

Price
They charged beef carpaccio at HKD328 Frankly speakly I reckon it is charged higer than some hotel restaurants, especially the dish was the smallest I had ever come across.

Food quality
1. It is not impressive any more.
2. The tuna I ordered was way over-cooked. I could not stand it and lodged a complaint. They were very nice to offer me a new dish 'Dover Sole'. However, i was proudly told that the sauce was made from foie gras (?!) I went for fish and did not expect anything "poulty" or "meaty" to go with my dish... there they had this strange sauce to go with fish. I tried two pieces and was very sorry that i had to give the dish up. 真系好难食品 My feeling was they were using the strong flavour of the foie gras sauce to cover up the tasteless fish.
3. My friend ordered Roasted Pigeon and he did not find it impressive as well. The pigeon was covered with something very sweet that one would not be able to tell if the pigeon was good.
4. The seafood soup my friend ordered was tasty.
5. The first basket of bread was slightly stale. So when they asked us for comments of the food (during the fish instance), I also mentioned about the bread. They later brought us another basket which was freshly baked and very good - why couldnt they do it the first time right?
6. The only thing was the side dish mushroom.

The offered us complimentary dessert as a token of apology for the two fish which i did not find them right. The staff are very nice and sincere in offering the dessesrt as 'compensation', but my dinner was already spoilt. I felt so embarrassed bringing my guest there.

When I was home, I texted my ex-boss immediately to apologize because few months back I recommended this place to him. He did not appear as impressive as I expected the following morning after the dinner... and then I finally knew why (but after all these months!)


Heard that the chef was gone... I guess that explains why there were only two tables during the evening i went, not to mention the size of the restaurant had been cut down by half at least!

I dont think I would be going back... 好可惜... unless they brought their level back to where they used to be.

今天是一個特別的日子, Honey 和我先去看韓片'陽光姊妹淘', 影片出乎意料好看, 哭完笑完之後, 我們去了H ONE 吃星期日半自助晚餐, 收費每位HK$528 +10%; 一進入餐廳感覺良好, 食物看起來都很新鮮, 再加上早兩星期訂座時我們要求window seats, 餐店安排了非常好的座位, 多謝! 侍應招呼我們坐下後, 問要sparkling water嗎? 不用提點都當然知要收費, 所以婉拒了, 因為之前 join membership送了免費香檳劵, 所以請她取來, 她很快安排好, 之後更自動為我們杯子添了普通水, 沒有因為我們不 order 飲料而兩副面孔, good! 冷盤有蟹腳, 蝦, 蟹, 藍貝及翡翠螺, 藍貝雖細隻, 但味濃, 翡翠螺很甜, 巴馬火腿很香, 幾款芝士都很好, 亦有八爪魚, 甜蝦, 三文魚劍魚腩刺身, 都好新鮮好甜; 生蠔有3款, 法國, 美國及澳洲, 味道都很好而且很新鮮. 熱盤其實很好但我一向食自助餐都是集中吃冷食物及生蠔, 所以各位見到我影了兩碟食物的相, 我所取的都差不多呢...總之, 我都沒空間放熱食入肚子了...

冷盤有蟹腳, 蝦, 蟹, 藍貝及翡翠螺, 藍貝雖細隻, 但味濃, 翡翠螺很甜, 巴馬火腿很香, 幾款芝士都很好, 亦有八爪魚, 甜蝦, 三文魚劍魚腩刺身, 都好新鮮好甜; 生蠔有3款, 法國, 美國及澳洲, 味道都很好而且很新鮮. 熱盤其實很好但我一向食自助餐都是集中吃冷食物及生蠔, 所以各位見到我影了兩碟食物的相, 我所取的都差不多呢...總之, 我都沒空間放熱食入肚子了...另外, 食至中段, 乳豬仔出場, 我很飽沒辦法再吃, honey試了, 外皮香脆, 肉質香軟, 他說是超水準呢! 他一直說夠了, 但隔了沒多久又出去請廚師即炒蜆肉墨汁麵, 真為食.......甜品是有十來款, 有專櫃存放的, 很衛生, 我差不多試勻, 其中芒果布丁最好, 而panna cotta 和 crunch cake 都不錯; 生果有多款, 包括全隻香蕉, 提子 脆梨, 蘋果任取, 亦有切了件的菠蘿, 西瓜, 哈蜜瓜和士多啤梨, 都好多款式. 今晚主菜有魚扒, 西冷牛扒, 焗半隻龍蝦等等幾款選擇, 但吃完頭盤我都已飽了, 主菜都吃剩了由honey幫我清碟, 真不好意思


見我這篇食評樣樣都說好, 因為是很好, 我不是那種故意要挑挑剔剔的人, 好就讚就是了, 簡簡單單~

總之...這個Semi-buffet Dinner 款式貴精不貴多, 食物新鮮豐富美味, 侍應有禮招呼恰到好處, 令我們體會到何謂好服務, 所以除了給小費外, 百忙中都要抽少許時間寫食評, 都是間接鼓勵一種.

餐廳環境、服務

H one是JC Group旗下的一家西餐廳,反正已經光顧過同系的Harlans和Hooray,也來H one試試吧! H one無論裝潢格調或是餐牌設計,都與同系Harlans餐廳頗為接近。尤其門外的店名標誌,很有如出一轍的感覺,兩家餐廳都有落地大窗和開揚景觀,都是吸引食客的一大亮點。

全家餐廳有大約130個座位,主要為用餐區及三個各有不同風格的私人廂房。從門口接待處經過一排大玻璃酒櫃進入用餐區,發現餐桌排列緊密,桌與桌之間只有少於一個「身位」的距離。還好的是當天光顧的時候客人不多,入座率大約只有三成,加上鋪的是純白桌布,又有落地大窗,所以感覺上未致有太大的壓迫感。

H one的整體服務水準可算是不錯的,入座後侍者會為客人介紹當日餐牌的菜式。雖然侍者會問客人是否需要瓶裝水,但只要客人要求熱水的話,也會樂意供應,而且還會密密添水。服務團隊由上而下每位都滿有笑容,而且動作也挺勤快。

可惜因為桌間距離太少之故,侍者為鄰桌客人服務後轉身離開時,身體碰跌了我們的麵包。有點奇怪的是,該名侍者沒有即時將弄跌的麵包取走,而是要我示意另一名侍者將之處理。麵包被取走後,也是由我示意,才有人來清理桌上的麵包碎,這點可謂是服務上的瑕疵。

菜式介紹

來訪名廚午市套餐,共有三道菜($488/位),前菜有雅枝竹釀鵝肝及法式龍蝦湯伴龍艾草兩款選擇,主菜也有羅西尼嫩牛肉片配Perigueux葡萄酒松露醬及奶油焗“Fernand Point”比目魚柳等兩款選擇,甜品則只有Paul Bocuse蛋白家常鬆餅。

整個套餐令我最由衷讚賞的是一道龍蝦湯伴龍艾草,雅枝竹釀鵝肝也做得不錯,但是主菜奶油焗“Fernand Point”比目魚柳卻有失手之嫌,作為甜品的Paul Bocuse蛋白家常鬆餅,也未能為我帶來任何味覺的感動。吃完這一餐後,內心竟充滿著“見識過,又如何?!”之歎!

推介菜式

Gilles Reinhardt的師傅Paul Bocuse是擅長主理「新派法國菜」的高手。Paul Bocuse主張將繁瑣的烹調方法簡化,盡量少用醬汁醃料,以展現食物的原來鮮味。賣相也捨棄堂皇誇張的裝飾,而取簡潔精緻的點綴。後來出現的份子料理「新派法國菜」,又是另一回事了。今趟Reinhardt示範的菜式,也秉承了Bocuse的烹調理念。

龍蝦湯伴龍艾草 ― 這是一道我最欣賞的菜式,淡橘色的濃湯汁,綴以幾塊厚大的龍蝦肉和青色蘆筍,裝潢上沒有太多的花巧。湯汁入口的第一種感覺是帶著龍蝦肉的香鮮甜美,再來就是奶油的香滑。以為這個湯就只有這兩種味道,冷不防焦糖的香味隨奶香而至,最後就是淡淡的茴香氣息。不得不提的是,湯內有幾塊厚大,而煮至剛熟的龍蝦肉,鮮甜得很。

雅枝竹釀鵝肝 ― 這道菜的賣相較為精緻花巧,醃過的雅枝竹肉,掏空了中心部份,釀入切得細碎的菇菌,上鋪一塊圓形的鵝肝。鵝肝的味道非常濃郁,質感絲滑,下面的菇菌味香帶鮮,底部的雅枝竹味道最清,有少許像橄欖般的味道。化成點點圍邊的紫蘇葉醬,其清新又帶酸甜的味道,令旁邊的配菜頓時生色起來。

稍有「閃失」的菜式

奶油焗“Fernand Point”比目魚柳 ― 這道外型有點像焗薯蓉的菜式,金黃的奶油濃湯之內,有幾塊切成粗條狀的比目魚柳,下面則有些蝴蝶粉。濃湯除了奶油味之外,沒有其他更深層次的味道,吸引力遠遜於龍蝦湯。比目魚柳雖然肉質又滑又有彈性,但是鮮味稍欠,更糟的是有點烘焦跡象,以致味道帶澀。

Paul Bocuse蛋白家常鬆餅 ― 這款甜品的外型有點趣緻,像不像「一棚牙」?!上面載了一球雲尼拿雪糕,中間有法國栗蓉,吃前由侍者淋上一層熱可可濃醬。雲尼拿雪糕的香味和口感都普通,沒有特別香滑。每顆雪白的「牙齒」就是鬆脆,又很甜的蛋白餅。若然沒有可可濃醬的苦澀稍為調和一下,非「甜牙齒」的你可能會抱怨過甜。栗蓉是整個甜品最惹人喜愛的部份,清香微甜是我們喜愛的甜度。甜品的材料各自散發著其特色,未有營造出互相配合、映襯和昇華的效果。

最不討好的菜式

H one的麵包 ― 麵包只有微溫,有的硬而不脆,有的沒有牛油酥香,比上次在Harlans及Hooray所吃到麵包明顯失色。

老實說,宣傳稿對Reinhardt的來頭有不少著墨,當然令人對其廚藝滿有期望,而且去年也嚐過Whisk客席訪港米芝蓮名廚的手藝,留下不錯的印象,自然對這次的光顧特別有憧憬。然而,現實卻與預期有點落差,未知是否因為「客席」與「東道」之間,在磨合上有「閃失」所致?!

總體總評

環境: 開揚
服務: 尚算不錯
菜色: 尚算有特色,可惜其中一道菜有點「失手」
價錢: 雖貴,但因為客席主席的名氣,也算合理
再訪意向: 暫時未有再訪意向
题外话/补充资料: Gilles Reinhardt跟隨大師Paul Bocuse學藝已有十餘年光景,現為廚神所經營的餐廳 ― L’Auberge du Pont de Collonges的主廚。Reinhardt於2004年更獲得最佳法國藝術工匠Meilleur Ouvrier de France的最高榮譽,是法國廚壇的新星。

For the main, she had the slow cooked pork belly while i had the "little boy" 10 oz steak. Do apologize for not having photos for these, those were taken with her phone~

Comments: Fine dining~ we couldnt get the window seat~ but then again, the table offered to us allows us to enjoy the harbour view together since we were sitting sideways facing the window instead of only one facing out. Food was superb, dont have to compliment on the taste. Try it for yourself~ bonus mark (+1) for the food being served was warmed

Downside: The young lady attended us couldnt speak fluent cantonese (-1) nor fluent english (-1), she brought us the chalk board with the specials of the day~ ordered the scallop carpaccio from there then after ordering the pork belly~ i asked her:"i prefer steak, what would you recommend?" She pointed at the first line of the first page and said :"this is steak". I responded by saying :"Yes, yet there's also the slow cooked beef cheek and the sirloin. What difference is there?" I seemed to know more about their menu than her... kinda disappointed there.
I asked for my steak to be cooked 'rare" came out to be medium rare.
They came to apologize and asked if i wanted a replacement, didnt make a big fuss out of it. Just didnt finish it~
Brought our own dessert~ Grand Hyatt - Chocolatier's Strawberry Vanilla Napoleon (not the actualy thing, but something like this)

oh~ almost forgot, we had the USA pinot noir~ decent drop~ free coffee (since the steak was over cooked)
last thing, read a few entries and the most of the complains comes from the "water". "Sparkling or Still" is a very common practice at a fine dining restaurent~
p.s. i gave a 5 for value base of the fact that we were at a 25 floor restaurent at tin hau a week ago, bill was 15xx and H One is way better in terms of food quality.

There are 2 types of set lunch available, one for $288 and the other for $368. The $288 one has several choices for appetizer and main course, while the $368 one has fewer but more expensive dishes.

Like most diners, I had the buffet bar for appetizer. The buffet bar included small pieces of sashimi such as salmon and shrimp (not impressed), bakery basket (the blueberry muffin isn't bad), fruit plate, smoked salmon (the best of all choices), salami, parma ham with melon (pretty good too), chicken wings, pizza squares, quiche, various vegetables (romaine lettuce, mushroom, grilled pepper and eggplant, cucumber etc.), thin beef slices, and cheese.

I had the grilled seabass as my main course, but was very disappointed. The seabass wasn't tender but dried, rough, and tasteless (the texture was similar to steamed fish given in a large Chinese banquet).

Friends ordered the roast of the day, which was sirloin. The presentation was quite bad as it was similar to what a HK style western restaurant would do (ie. a piece of steak, with sauce poured all over, plus a bed of mashed potato beneath, and 2 pieces of cauliflower next to the sirloin). The steak itself was very fatty and the bad-tasting sauce didn't help. Don't forget this is supposed to be an expensive restaurant in IFC, so this dish was a complete failure!

The dessert that came with the set lunch was a blueberry dome with a piece of almond biscotti and a small scope of yuzu sorbet. The sorbet was refreshing, and the blueberry dome (blueberry mousse covering a chocolate cake with some blueberry preserve) tasted alright.

I'd only come again for the buffet bar, but nothing else. For $288, there are other choices to choose from even in Central!

今年週年紀念, 因為晚上有要事, 所以唯有食lunch慶祝, 想在中環區又想吃buffet, 上網搵下搵下就撰左H One。訂枱時我預留左window seat 同埋講低左會慶祝 Anniversary, 佢地話會幫我係隻碟寫字等食甜品時送上 。 餐廳一大塊落地玻璃, 面向西九, 風景當然一流。食物方面, 佢地其實係Semi buffet, 頭盤、小食同甜品任食, 另外會包一個主菜。頭盤&小食: 有好多選擇, 生蠔, 刺生, parma ham, 炸魚, 意粉, 燴牛腩, cheese..............食物好新鮮, 味道又好, 生蠔係我至愛, 好味好味 主菜: 老公撰了lobster, 我撰了sea bass, 主菜即做所以夠熱, 龍蝦好彈牙, 爐魚煎得香脆, 好好味甜品: 佢有個甜品櫃, 款式好多, 賣相又靚, 味道當然唔駛講 ~ 更係good la ~話哂都係高級食府, D waiter 既態度當然好啦, 所以呢間餐廳我都好鍾意 !!

哩間餐廳食物係ok, 但係有樣嘢令人反感:我地兩個人一坐低,就有以下對話:W-waiter,C-customerW: 兩位要唔要飲啲水先?C:好,唔該。W:請問要咩水? Distilled water 定係sparkling water?C:Distilled water.水一嚟到,係啱啱開嘅玻璃樽裝水,心諗都唔多對路, 但係望下周圍嘅人枱面都有樽水, 就冇再理。席間我哋一路食都一路讚, 因為比咁嘅價錢有咁嘅食物質素真係物有所值。點知,惡夢在後頭!埋單一望張bill,我哋兩個人連加一飲左$150水!我認為水要收錢都ok,但係客人一坐低,drink list又冇,就係咁意問人飲唔飲水,我認為9成9嘅客都會答要(我亦都認為因此個個枱面都有支水)。如果個個都知水要收咁嘅價錢我真係唔認為都仲有咁多人係都要飲水,而且水要收錢係咪好應該寫喺drink list等人知道呢?反正去得哩啲地方,飲品貴少少係預左,但係唔係飲水囉。我地食完埋單之前都仲心情靚靚,諗下下次都可以再嚟,但係老實講我認為哩間餐廳咁嘅作風令我完全覺得佢係謀人寺,唔洗旨意有下次!

朱古力蛋糕的朱古力味很濃郁, 香氣直撲入鼻,濃郁的朱古力味。

入口即化的朱古力,每一口都帶給舌尖味蕾無比的甜蜜滿足。

濕潤綿密且口感紮實的的巧克力蛋糕體,搭配上醇厚的朱古力,

每一口都是濃郁的巧克力味,而且一點都不會甜膩。

i booked the table like 2 weeks ago, requested for a table right next to the window and the lady said those tables were fully booked. on the day we had the dinner they gave us a table next to the window cos the restaurant was kinda empty that night.so after we sat down, the waitress kept asking us if we want distilled or sparkling water which i think it was quite disturbing by asking us non-stop. and besides, they just make you feel like they are forcing you to buy water from them and they charg

so after we sat down, the waitress kept asking us if we want distilled or sparkling water which i think it was quite disturbing by asking us non-stop. and besides, they just make you feel like they are forcing you to buy water from them and they charge u heaps for the water which is pretty ripped off..

so we ordered:
- salmon sashimi, japanese salad and sesame citrus dressing
its pretty good though, salmon and the salad were pretty fresh. quality ok but quantity not ok haha

chocolate cake wasnt that sweet i like it. but yoghurt sorbet tastes pretty weird though... lemon lime mango rapsberry etc would be better than that i guess

but yeah overall the food werent that salty or sweet which is good, but the taste of the food is not the best. the restaurant is pretty comfortable but everything there is kinda overpriced. well for anniversary its ok but probably wont go there too frequently.
