With most of my friends living in New Territories, and only a few on Hong Kong Island, I seldom set foot in Lan Kwai Fong. Even when I do go to Hong Kong Island, I would go dining and shopping in Causeway Bay, so Central isn't somewhere I frequently visit. Turns out, Lily & Bloom is a suitable place for birthday celebrations with friends and lovers. The evening I was there, there were two groups of diners celebrating birthdays. When waiters and cooks came bearing cake and singing Happy Birthday for the first time, I found it surprising and heartwarming. The whole restaurant joined in celebration. I thought at first that this was special treatment for some senior staff member, until the second group came along. It dawned on me that this was standard practice at this restaurant. What a pity that it wasn't my birthday that evening, but you should definitely come with friends for their birthdays. After all, it's little things like this that makes an enjoyable dining experience.
Lily & Bloom was also decorated with a romantic theme throughout, from the walls to lighting and ornaments around the restaurant. And the ornaments, mostly flowers and small candles, made the atmosphere doubly romantic.

Home made bread
The homemade bread was warm, even a bit hot, when the server presented them. Extra points for this nice touch, something we don't see all the time. Meanwhile, the server prepared balsamic vinegar and olive oil for us, which goes with the bread. The bread was luscious, and with the insides soft and very hot, you could tell it was not just reheated by microwave.

Cedar River Beef Tartare $140
This beef tartare is served with mustard aioli, fresh herbs and capers, smoky red pepper sauce and crispy shallots. It was my first time having raw beef in a restaurant, which made me nervous, because I wasn't sure if I had the courage to try it.
The presentation of the dish was very attractive. Without second thoughts, I helped myself by mixing the beef with egg yolks and crispy shallots. The texture of the meat was tender, while the flavours of the pepper and the beef was just the right mix. Mixed in with the crispy shallots, the combination of tenderness and crunch made this an excellent dish.

Shades of Grapes $130
How can one go without alcohol on Lan Kwai Fong? On the waiter's recommendation, I ordered a Shades of Grapes, with grapes, white wine, Hennessy VSOP, elderflower, ginger and celery. White wine is a personal favourite, so I chose this over another cocktail, The Mad Hatter, which the waiter also initially recommended. With a mild taste, a tinge of fruitiness and the added celery stalk, this cocktail had an atmosphere of a seaside resort around it.

Short Rib Mac N’ Cheese $ 75
This mac and cheese came with red wine angus beef, pimiento peppers and fresh herbs. The cheese didn't melt as expected, which was disappointing in terms of appearance. Once you took the first bite, though, the rich flavours of cheese fills your mouth! The macaroni was a bit too soft to achieve the ideal al dente texture; nonetheless it was a treat overall.

Chicken & Waffle $215
At last, my main course, served with fried chicken, buttermilk waffle and chipotle gravy. Even though I already had quite some cheese before, my love for chicken was simply unstoppable. It looked like your average deep-fried chicken from the outside, but the inside was nothing like that. Beneath the crispy outer crust was a well-seasoned piece of chicken, marinated with spices throughout and not oily at all. The chicken was also very thick, enough for sharing among three people.
On the other hand, the waffle underneath the chicken was savoury, not sweet, and filled with scents of lemon, which was out of my expectation: I was used to having waffles for dessert.

I just had to order some when I saw them on the menu. Crispy yet not oily, the fries from a high-end restaurant like this certainly didn't disappoint.

Blueberry Cheese Cake
The restaurant's homemade Blueberry Cheese Cake was nicely done. With delicate texture and just the right level of sweetness, the cake felt different from the usual cheese cake.

The steak was a bit fatty and the mac & cheese was slightly overcooked. Could be better if both of them are tender and soft. Halo Fries was my favorite! The truffle oil was supreme, it's the star of this dish.

Salted caramel ice-cream was very rich and smooth. The peaches, crepes and almond crumbles were perfect match!!

The waiters and waitresses were all very responsive and nice. The waitress patiently introduced the dishes on the menu and responded professionally when we asked for her recommendation. Our table was being cleaned in between every dish and our glasses were always filled with water without the need to ask for it.

So on 22 of Oct, I dined out with my friend at the Lily & Bloom. It located at the center of Lang Kwai Fong, which is very easy to locate, just a few minutes walked from central MTR. So on 22 of Oct, I dined out with my friend at the Lily & Bloom. It located at the center of Lang Kwai Fong, which is very easy to locate, just a few minutes walked from central MTR. Arrived at the restaurant, it was at first glance very classy with a decorative title, 'Bloom.' We are directed to a table at the centre on the first floor. The appearance of the restaurant as a whole gave off a cozy yet classy feeling, successfully creating a very vintage vibe with a large champange light attached to the ceiling.

We settled down and the waiter politely served us with a cold sparkling water with lemon inside and the menu as well. It was a total full set menu with cocktails, appetizer, main course and deserts. We spent a few minutes and finally ordered one full set, i.e. The Mad Hatter as cocktails, Cedar River Beek Tartare as appetizer, Chicken & Waffle as main course, Short Rib Mac N' Cheese and the sundays icecream as desert. 

First, the Mad Hatter includes ingredients like earl grey infuse four pillars dry gin, sipsmith summer cup, cardoamom, lemon, rhubarb bitters and vanilla extract. This cocktail is served with a Chinese style tea cup. I thought it will be very bitter and tastes like tea at the first sight, however, to my surprise, the cocktail tasted like orange juice with lime and citrus. It was quite sweet and tasty with a good balance and the taste of alcohol would not be too heavy as well. Great drinks! Yet, one thing I think the restaurant can improve about the Mad Hatter is that the quantity is rather small. You may need to order two to three cups before you are satisfied with it. Still, I definitely recommend this drink to all of you. Amazing!

In view of the Cedar River Beek Tartare, to my disappointment, the taste of meat is so weird which it tastes like raw meat, though it is really a raw one, but I think the texture is weird and I don't really like it. My friend thought it is ok. For the Chicken & Waffle, it was quite heavy for two girls to finish the whole set whilst for men, it was fair. The combination of chicken and waffles is quite fresh to me since it is quite special to see such combination and the texture is very new that you wil never expect something like these served together. To a contrary, the texture of the chicken is a bit dry and I suggest some sauces can be served as dishes.

What is more, the Short Rib Mac N' Cheese is very cheesy and the balance of it is quite nice. I have tried other Mac N' Cheese somewhere else and it was too over and full. All in all, the cheese is rich and it was nice to have it after the chicken.

Last, the desert sundays ice cream is the finest touch of the whole featured set menu. The ice cream is so creamy and silky with dressings on top. Served with the Mad Hatter, it was delicate and delicious.

In general, the attitude of the waiters should get complimented as they served you with real heart and they will also asked for comments and gave out a lot of information of the food. You will feel very welcomed. Besides, they are also very willing to help take photos for us as some restaurant disguised such actions. The whole set is around 900 dollars, which for a fine dining, it was acceptable. It was a nice experience and the perfect dining place for couples to have anniversary.

呢個sundae係食過最特別嘅,同平時係m記果啲食真係兩回事,入口細膩嘅奶油,跟住入面仲有濃濃的朗姆尼真係好鬼正,朱古力咪真係超重,岩晒我呢啲朱古力狂粉。
其實呢度嘅裝修真係幾好有情調,真係無諗過係LKF呢啲著名蒲嘅地方,都會有呢種嘅餐廳,食嘅時候見到唔同嘅人係度暢談傾偈,自己個人心情都好啲架。。。

滕籃內的是新鮮的蔬菜,可惜 Rain 是不吃的!!

反而在旁的鴨肝醬很吸引的,法包有塗上鴨肝醬一起吃。

法包外脆內裡軟熟,不知她們用是什麼材料呢?

法包的麥味比較濃郁,塗上鴨肝醬,味道在口中盤旋,難以忘懷的。

Cold Seafood Spaghetti

一般我都是吃熱的意粉,今次就試這個冷意粉,

把蟹肉、魚子醬及意粉混合好,

意粉入口第一時間感受到魚子的爆破,感覺滿特別的,

接著傳來淡淡的香草味,跟著是蟹肉的鮮味,

三款材料都不會搶去對方的味道,使味道豐富起來。

Oven Roasted Porchetta

肥瘦相間的五花腩,形做成肉卷,外層的皮烤得非常香脆,

感覺有點似平日吃的燒肉,又不會似燒肉般太咸,

雖說是有肥肉,但又不會真的很油膩的,肉質軟稔,不錯吃的。

Chocolate Pot De Creme

最後就是甜品時間,跟朋友分著吃,我吃的是 Chocolate Pot De Creme,

在上層灑了餅乾碎,有點似是木糠布甸的感覺,

個人偏愛吃巧克力,所以對它滿有期望的,

巧克力起司慕斯質地軟滑,帶有澴濃的巧克力香味,

巧克力的那份苦澀味,淡淡的滲透出來,喜歡巧克力的朋友對它應該都很滿意的。

When I first walk in, it gives me a very grand, classical yet modern feel. The palace-like interior design is very elegant and stylish. It merges the classical light bulb design with tungsten lamp outfit with the modern technology of fluorescent lamp. The yellow warm lights with glasses as decoration provides people a sense of comfort and hospitality to me. While on the architectural design, the distinguishing features including its special intricate architecture. It reveals the raw energy city

While on the architectural design, the distinguishing features including its special intricate architecture. It reveals the raw energy city life and the places that the American hawkers and vendors go for drinking and eating. Their intention of using steels instead of wooden to mark the framework of the restaurant is also shown. That poses an impression of modernity and gives people a state-of-the-art.

While for the food, I particulary like their drinks. 

For the ones before appetizer, the yellow like with short glass has a rich taste of grape is called Shades of Grapes and the organe like with the tall glass called Midsummer Night’s Dream, which gives me a felling of freshness. Heard from the manager that it is a sweet wine with ginger inside and it has relatively less less alcohol, so good for girls who cannot drink much.

For the main course, I like Steak Frites. The steak is not very thick and fat. The source with lighter color is sweet while another one is sour. Very good as a first dish. The fries are also nice with japanese style seaweed. 

I like Grilled Chu Toro too. The fish is super fresh. The rice is solid like, a bit hard, but still very nice. Its apperance is like beef with some marks of bakery. The source is tasy with a bit sour. The green leaf makes the seasoning taste even better.

For the dessert, I like Yellow Peach Crepes. THe peach slides are super fresh with the top dressing of caramel. The texture of the ice cream is a bit hard but the taste iof caramel is rich. The pancake with peach slides inside are a very good combination as a dessert.

For the ones after appetizer, I like bailey, the one with darker coulour and solid form. Caramel taste is rich and it is creamy. The alcohol is not obvious so easy to drink. While the light yellow one is fruity.

而我就要了一杯Snicker's Old Fashioned,當中有snickers infused michter's, vanilla demerara及chocolate bitters,由於看到vanilla及chocolate感覺甜甜的吸引非常。但試過一口後. . .發現跟想像的有所不同,朱古力味不濃,反而有著話梅味,不過甜度較友人那杯甜一點,但感覺酒精濃度蠻高呢

前菜方面就分別點了Cedar River Beef Tartare & Bloom Caesar,雖然量少,但製作精美用料特別,即使連醬汁及伴碟也做得一絲不苟的,當中有mustard aioli, fresh herds and capers, smoky red pepper Sauce & crispy shallots。圓圓扁扁的他他上放上了沙律菜,而旁邊一小埋的就是炸洋蔥。他他入口綿綿的,充滿了牛肉香,再配上芥末醬味道就更豐富了,吃了數口後再吃點香脆的洋蔥條,令整個感覺不會太過單調,非常好吃

另外還要了一客凱撒沙律,沙律同樣足料,大大只表面一劃即破的溫泉蛋,大量的麵包脆粒及芝士片。劃破蛋黃,橙黃色的蛋汁慢慢流出,跟沙律菜拌混再吃,感覺又香又滑。然而麵包烤得又香又脆,芝士味道夠香濃,再配上新鮮的沙律菜及醬汁同吃,感覺開胃

一向愛吃漢堡,來到這裡仍然想要試一下巨大的漢堡,內裡的漢堡扒還可自行決定生熟程度,由於友人怕血水,所以就選了7成熟。漢堡內還夾有車打芝工、煙肉、蔬菜及𩃭露醬。漢堡還附有大量的手切薯條,薯條夠脆,薯味豐富,整個份量實在多得一位女士未必能夠全部吃完呢!

漢堡扒用上了dry aged wagyu beef patty,到網上翻查,dry aged的意思大概是把牛肉放到一個控制了溫、濕度的風乾櫃內15-28天,令牛肉失去水份,繼而肉汁會濃縮於肉內,加上部分纖維被分解了,肉質還會變得更加鮮嫩。漢堡的外層相對硬身,但能做到外脆內軟的感覺,切開漢堡就能清楚看到內裡紅潤的肉質,入口外層香口,而內裡則牛味香濃,感覺特別。至於其餘的配料,味道同樣不錯,大大片的半融芝士,加上乾身脆面的煙肉,不論是味道還是質感上也能滿足到愛口感的我,不過友人就覺得煙肉有點稍為過硬了

另一主菜是炭燒400日穀飼肉眼扒,大大塊的牛扒擺放在木板我正中位置,送來時已聞到陣陣扒香了!牛扒同樣配有大量的手切薯條,不同的是薯條灑上了黑椒微粒,入口帶微辣,雖然令熱氣度大大提升,但同時令香口度同時大幅增加。木板的左右兩方放有兩款由店方自製的醬料
aikon sauce & bloom ketchup,daikon sauce的味道跟燒烤醬有點相似,但由於內藏蘿蔔蓉,所以調度較高,至於自製茄醬感覺甜度低一點而茄味就更濃郁了

牛扒同樣要了7成熟,底面也燒至一層焦面,帶微脆口感,而內裡肉質嫩紅,肉汁豐富,雖然經已7成熟,但入口不會過韌或過o鞋,細膩下富肉香,連同邊位少量的脂肪同吃,味道就更香了,若嫌味道有點單調,還可沾一點daikon sauce 提味,沾上後為表面增加了濕潤感外同時亦能突顯了烤肉的味道,不過由於硬為喜歡原汁原味,所以還是比較喜歡只放一些己鹽巴直接吃就好了

甜品方面看到新地內所包含的甜食種類蠻多的,有salted caramel ice-cream、banana sorbet、vanilla ice-cream、chocolate cookie crumble、hot fudge & caramel sauce,一共5種,每樣也能試試就最適合我們了~Salted caramel ice-cream入口順滑,但鹹度比相像中的要高,反而焦糖味不太突出。還是首次吃到Banana sorbet,入口少了冰涼口感,但香蕉味頗濃的,感覺特別。Vanilla ice-cream相對普通,沒甚麼特別。Chocolate cookie crumble 是整個甜品內我最喜歡的一項,朱古力味香濃之餘,入口質感鬆軟,沒有一般brownie的飽膩感,即使吃得飽飽也不怕~至於大大塊的hot fudge ,口感脆脆的,但少了濃濃的牛油香,有點可惜

凍湯以玻璃瓶奉上,記得小時候去野餐都是用玻璃瓶放湯喔 估不到細節也一絲不苟!
Vichyssoise 即是馬鈴薯濃湯,香滑質感有如忌廉湯,入口蒜味幾濃郁又夠凍,不過我個人就麻麻地,我比較偏好清爽口感的湯,所以飲了兩口就覺得太膩了

凍湯伴著的是野餐必備的三文治--芝士多士!厚身麵包外表烘至金金黃黃,看一眼已覺得好吸引!

吃罷烤豬肉卷,仲有炸魚柳,可以自由配搭墨西哥薄餅或以牛油生菜包著吃,披著金黃色外衣的魚柳炸漿夠薄身,外脆內嫩,又不會油淋淋,配合酸酸甜甜的芒果沙沙醬或蛋黃醬,可提昇魚柳獨有的嫩滑口感,值得一讚,就是墨西哥薄餅是烘到暖暖的,沒有半點硬巴巴的乾哽之感

Detox Water,餐廳揀左香茅同青蘋果的口味,入口都幾清甜,有淡淡的蘋果甜味,自己都幾喜歡,最後提提大家,其實整呢個detox water,用的水果最好係有機,因為好多生果都灑過農藥,咁樣連皮浸就真係吸毒無分別,要靚要瘦都唔該用下腦先啦

Grilled Chu Toro composed of green shiso rice, tomato and melon also and fresh wasabi. The chu toro was perfectly seasoned and went well with the sour and spicy condiments.

It was such a refreshing main course. It could have been better if the toro was less cooked inside.The side dish was short rib mac and cheese with red wine angus beef, pimiento pepper and fresh herbs.

The short ribs was soft and tender while the cheese itself tasted really rich. The fresh herbs enhanced the flavour of the whole side dish.
The yellow peach crepes was filled with mascarpone which was smooth and rich. It was such a pleasure to go with the salted caramel ice cream.

點了這份做頭盤 , 份量之大是可以二至三人分享。 特別之處是加了溫泉蛋及香草麵包粒在 Caesar salad 裏 , 醬汁亦落得適中 , 剛好黏在沙律菜上。

The drink was very refreshing with a blend of white wine, cognac and grape jucie. I also really liked the idea of serving the drink using a metal cup. After our pre-meal drinks, My gf and I decided to go for the set menu. For starters we had the beef tartare and caesar salad.

The beef tartare was very good but the Caesar salad was outstanding as the richness of the egg elevated this salad to another level. Next comes the main dish that I really wanted to try.

I ordered the steak and fries while my partner ordered the sear tuna. The steak was cooked to perfection. The meat is tender and juicy. Moreover, the waitress helped me cut the steak to perfect slices. The mac&cheese was one of the best I had in HK. Most Mac&Cheese I had in HK was more like Mac and white sauce with very little cheese. But this mac&cheese was very very chessy.

So the steak was good but the seared tuna was a bit overcooked. The tuna was high quality as it was Chu Toro. Since the tuna was such high quality, it would be better if it is raw for the inside. However, the green shiso rice and salsa really complemented the tuna. So overall, it was still a good dish.

For dessert we had the salted caramel ice cream and peach crepe. The crepe was so so but the saled caramel ice cream was excellent. It was creamy and the saltiness blended well with the sweetness of the caramel. 

Overall, my partner and I had a wonderful evening. The food was great and the service was even better!

We were well greeted with cordial staffs. Two of us sat at a round table with circular sofas. With the spaciousness of the restaurant, the positive vibes in the air gave me great pleasure leaning back and gazing up the high above ceiling. It’s worth mentioning that their music choices were great. There were lots of songs covered by American singers, definitely helped put that western feel to the theme.

Not long after settling down, staffs introduced us with their Special Menu, quite well presented. Although there weren’t really detailed descriptions, the attentiveness of staffs on meeting customer needs still impressed us. To be honest, everything on the food menu induced salvation and it was tough narrowing down our choices. Ended up the very amiable Restaurant Manager Mr Paulo came over and solved our problem choosing.

We started off with each of us a very refreshing glass of wine:

Both cocktails were uniquely tasty, not the average drinks that you could get on street. We were well impressed when the Bar Manager came up to ask for our feedbacks.

We were told that Midsummer Night’s Dream combined a wide mixture of wines, earl grey gin, peach bitters ginger ale, to name but a few, all proportion-wise right on the spot.

The Shades of Grapes was originated from Shakespeare, combining white wine, mixed grapes, ginger and celery, very refreshing. Great drink to return for. To add on, the bar here is actually a nice catch up spot with friends for drinks and refreshments, spacious and relaxing.

We were then served with classic buns. Although I was actually expecting for soup, I was not at all disappointed when appetizers arrived:

The Beef Tartare was served in small portion, very fresh and tender beef with good seasoning.

Finally it came to mains, I still remembered how exhilarated two of us were seeing the tableful of goodness.

Grilled Chu Toro (marks: 9.5/10)
The seafood choice, baby watercress of the Grilled Chu Toro was deliciously succulent, juicy and tender with great flavors being imparted from the fish oil. It matched perfectly with green shiso rice, well flavored with tomato, melon salsa and fresh wasabi. The sauce was appetizing and well paired!

Steak Frites (marks: 8.5/10)
A combination of rib-eye and spiced fries, the wooden plate was also served with a sweet and sour sauce, they call it the ‘house daikon sauce’, flavor-wise with strong garlic. Most of all, I liked the chewiness of the rib-eye and it was well marinated to enhance the juiciness and scrumptious of the beef.

Served with strips of red wine Angus beef, macaroni paired with cheese was seemingly creamy and condensed, yet cheese was not as strong as expected and not salty enough. It could be more inviting if it were more flavor-wise especially for a cheese-lover like me.

The fries were shaved with fresh Parmesan cheese. The cheese was strong and flavorsome. Yet sadly, fries were apparently quite repetitive for the meal tonight, my nearly-filled stomach told me it wasn’t as toothsome as it looked.

Before we ordered sweets, we were politely asked for our after-meal wine choice. The staff patiently made clear descriptions of each and we narrowed down our choices to two spectacular sized cocktails. It was surprisingly nice and luscious! Perhaps it was the bitter aftertaste of the wine that once again stimulated my appetite. I wasn’t a wine-lover but I definitely loved the burn in my throat.

Men cannot live without sweets. And so do I. I always love to pamper myself with unique sweetness whichever place I visit. And desserts at Lily & Bloom were one of the most craving part of the meal!

The Ultimate Ice Cream Sundae (9.5/10)
Definitely a big hit to end the whole meal, the combination of the Sundae worked surprisingly well together! With salted caramel ice cream, banana sorbet and chocolate cookie crumble as the base, paired with cream, hot fudge and lastly caramel sauce drizzled right on top. I especially liked the banana sorbet that added more delightful flavors. The caramel crunches worked well in the glass too! Textures were paired perfectly.

Yellow Peach Crepes (9/10)
This plate was designed to spam your camera. The presentation was tempting! Filled with mascarpone cream cheese and sprinkled with caramel crunches, the crepe combines flavors of salted caramel and almond crumbles. Peach was well seasoned with additional acidity of Cointreau, an orange-flavored liqueur. Overall combination was amazing with exciting flavors, especially liked how the fillings were squashed out in every bite.

Overall, desserts served at Lily & Bloom were impeccable. After weeks I would still vividly remember these toothsome flavors. Would definitely check this out again in near future. Neatly presented layout with pleasant music and vibe to lay back and enjoy quality drinks. This place was simply eclectic! Dishes and desserts were also well executed. Really enjoyable experience!

The waiters were sincere and they indroduced the dishes on the menu in detail. 

Chicken and Waffle was my choice for main course.
 Two pieces of fried chicken breast along with fried chicken drumstick are placed on top of the waffle. The gravy sauce is put in one small dish while sweet corn salad is put in another.
 They are beautifully arranged. 

Underneath the crunchy coating of the fried chicken breast, the meat is tender and soft, which makes a wonderful balance.
 The crispy texture is my favorite thing about this dish. The light textured gravy matches well with the meat. The gravy is not thickened so it does not dominate the overall taste of the meat.

Buttermilk waffle is an uncommon choice for the main course. Surprisingly it resonates well with the fried chicken breast and drumstick.


It was not a good choice to have Short Rib Mac N’ Cheese as side dish though.
 The proportion was quite large and it was in fact heavier than the main course.
 However if we are just focusing on the taste, it tastes just fine.

The beef is placed on top of the macaroni at the center of the serving bowl. Seasonings can be seen sprinkled onto the cheese.
 The dish gives a delicate aroma of melted cheese. With the smell of the seasonings, the dish gives a wonderful fragrance.

In general the mood created by the refurbishment of the restaurant makes it comfortable for me to dine.
 The lights are kept dimmed and the candles are kindled and placed in a smart way to create a nice space to enjoy the evening. The playful music played from the speaker enhances the relaxed atmosphere. It is a restaurant that worths recommending.

另一邊用餐區,會感到空間感都好大,地方都好闊落起碼不是密質質,樓底都好高,天花掛上古雅的燈飾,一串串的吊燈好像看閃閃的星星,還有一個掛滿酒杯的弧形的酒杯櫃,典雅的裝潢都不會俗套,此裝潢設計感覺摩登型格。我們被安排坐在圓拱形的卡座,昏暗的燈光之下,而每張木枱上都有一盞蠟燭,燭光閃爍之下燃起了柔和而浪漫的情調氣氛。

開飯前,店員會送上每人一杯welcome drink ,我們都選擇了無酒精的"ElderFizz",用上了elderflower及一接骨木花還混入ginger soda,飲落冰涼又有陣陣的薑香,好清新的感覺。一張小巧的menu 後有一個小遊戲crossword可以玩一下,如果能夠全部答對所有題目,餐廳方面還你一瓶免費的餐酒帶走。

每一道菜,店員會提著一個野餐的藤籃把食物送上客人枱上,先來一些蔬菜架,鐵架內放了六個玻璃瓶,有樽是放了一些新鮮的蔬菜,此是"Assorted baby vegetables and dip ",蔬菜方面有車厘茄、椰菜花、蘆筍條及甘筍,有一樽白色的醬汁是自家製的tartar sauce,車厘茄都好飽滿多汁,好鮮甜。而甘筍就好爽口清甜,口味清淡的椰菜花蘸上tartar sauce食,可以增加香滑的口感!!
將些味道較清的蔬菜蘸上微酸沙律醬,的確是一道好醒胃又健怡的前菜。

而另一款醬料是"Duck mousse with cognac"(干邑鴨肝醬),店員用送上一個圓形的竹籃上枱,竹籃內有一些新鮮烤焗的baguettes,再帶有微暖的法包塗上一些有干邑白蘭地成份的鴨肝醬,微暖的法包軟熟微脆,而鴨肝的味道好濃郁可口,口感好像慕絲般柔滑,鹹味蔓延口腔內久久盤繞未散,令人齒頰留香,兩者的配搭真是一流。

接著就是"Vichyssoise and cheese toast",「Vichyssoise」解作「濃稠的馬鈴薯凍湯」,濃稠的馬鈴薯湯用了一個加了紅白格仔的蓋子的玻璃罐內,突然腦海中聯想起紅、白格仔的餐桌枱布,講留個市餐湯,它的色澤呈乳白色,在這個炎熱的天氣之下,來一碗凍飲湯都是不錯,平時我多數飲熱的大蒜馬鈴薯湯,因為會較暖胃。估不到凍的大蒜馬鈴薯湯都讓我們帶來不少驚喜,有陣陣大蒜的清香味,質感果然濃稠綿密。旁邊的烤至金黃的cheese toast 夾雜了芝味濃郁的gruyere cheese,軟化後的Gruyere Cheese形成了半溶化的芝士,口感軟綿綿又滑溜,與牛油、松露及蕃茄果醬融合起來,整體上多士脆香富牛油及芝士的香氣,也帶出蕃茄的清甜而減輕膩感。

吃過味道較濃郁的菜式後,也是時候一道清新口味的菜式「Cold Seafood Spaghetti.」,用傳統的意大利粉加入有蟹肉、魚子醬及魷魚粒,享用前我將意粉與配料一起攪拌,啖啖的蟹肉味道鮮甜,而香草醬滲入意粉中,意粉的質感煙韌爽彈,散發了清新味香草味,每條意粉也沾滿一粒粒黑魚子,鹹鮮脆口,味道層次更是豐富。

最後再來兩款不同的主菜,先來Oven roasted porchetta(served with butter lettuce, grilled peach mostarda, chili pickled radish)此烤豬肉卷的豬皮鬆脆又厚身,咬開時都感到好卜卜脆,五花肉的肉質軟嫩,同時肉汁十分豐盈,可以放一些pommery mustard及辣味的蘿蔔粒在爽脆新鮮的牛油生菜上,再包裹烤豬肉片捲起來吃, 可以減輕油膩的感覺。

另一款的主菜是Bloom's make your own fish tacos(mango salsa, spicy mayonnaise, warm tortillas),要製作自己心水的Tacos,我先拿起微暖的墨西哥薄餅,再放入一條粗身肥大的炸魚條,食起熱辣辣的魚柳,幸好炸漿又夠薄身,魚身都十分新鮮,色澤雪白厚身魚味濃郁,然後再加少少芒果沙沙醬及一些微辣的蛋黃醬,更突顯魚肉的鮮味,更添多些滑溜口感。

吃過主菜後,店員會奉上一瓶果味的飲用水,它的賣相不但美觀吸睛,口感清香舒適,又有排毒養身的效果。再奉上一些濕毛巾給客人抺手,真是好細心的服務。

最後就是甜品時間,一共有兩款甜品先有Chocolate pot de crème, mascarpone cream and cookie crumble,朱古力加了濃稠狀mascarpone cream,質感較香滑奶油味香而濃郁,用上了dark chocolate ,朱古力的味道都好醇,甜度都柔和,也非常好吃。

Young coconut mousse, orange custard with fresh mint這個是橙味吉士的椰子慕絲,椰子味較突出,慕絲上都灑了一些椰絲,入口有陣陣清新的橙香,不過質感有點較稀身!

氣氛輕鬆不會不拘謹,在此享用晚餐感覺真是好舒適,第一次在餐廳食野餐風味也是幾有趣又特別。服務都真是幾細心,經常巡枱留意客人的用餐情況,又會講述的菜式的食法及食材,好專業!!
