Asparagi, Tartufo Nero - 輕輕鬆鬆的來一份沙律頭盤,上桌已經傳來陣陣霉霉的氣味,原來是黑松露!餐廳毫不吝惜的放上一片又一片的乾黑松露,配上沙津菜,露筍,西芹以及車厘茄,帶有清新感覺。不過吃進口中,黑松露的味道並未如聞到的強烈。

Astice - 只要食材好,基本上不用太多技巧及調味就能吃到食物的美味。一隻水煮波士頓龍蝦,蝦肉彈牙帶甜,下面舖滿芒果,木瓜,蜜瓜,藍莓,草莓等水果的沙律,顏色鮮艷,色彩繽紛。

而底下的淺黃色的一點點就是意大利的傳統醬料Sabayon,通常用於甜品當中,因為主要由蛋黃,砂糖及Marsala Wine煮成的。配上鮮甜的龍蝦又有不錯的效果。

Strozzapreti Vongole e Carciofi - Strozzapreti是意大利麵的一種,大約2吋長,然後捲成似豬粉腸的樣子。就是因為它捲成這個樣子,所以麵條充滿濃濃的芝士香草酒香和Artichoke味。而且麵條是餐廳自己造的,質感比較煙韌,正合我意。不過不知道是否來至New Zealand的大蜆鹽份較重,所以連帶整個意粉都偏鹹。

Risotto “Acquerello” ai Gamberi e Capesante - 看似平平無奇的意大利飯又教人驚喜。意大利飯雖然不是我喜歡的al dente的感覺,比較軟身,不過有濃郁的芝士及檸檬續隨子調味,令人胃口大開。而且伴隨的還有北海道帶子和蝦,輕煎熟成帶微甜,味道不錯。

Baccala - 廚師以鹽特別處理過的鱈魚,肉質比較實在富點彈性,配上以露筍,青口及蜆煮成的清湯,一份輕食的主菜就在眼前。不過雖無過失,但比較一般。

Vitello - 由蘑菇菠菜及芝士釀成的牛仔肉,質地並不如看見的嫩滑,即使是骨邊較肥的位置,有如打了肌肉硬化針,非常失望。

Semifreddo - 是一類雪糕又似Mousse的甜品。這個Semifreddo是由Mojito做的,帶在些微酒香,不過配上綠色一粒粒小方的薄荷Jelly和茉莉花茶醬汁,好像不太合襯。

雖然主菜比較失色,但這裡的粉麵和飯都比預期的好。加上氣氛跟環境,如果能夠先喝一杯跟朋友聊聊天再晚餐,應該是個蠻不錯的選擇吧!

北海渡帶子, 玫瑰蝦, 菠菜燴特級意大利飯。
飯粒看上已感覺糊口, 賣相十分不討好
玫瑰蝦有欠鮮味, 只有爽口。
還好北海渡帶子挽回一點分數。

星期五, 當然就係Happy Friday, 唔去食下好野, 摸下酒杯低點得呀! 在一班酒肉朋友建議之下,黎左呢間Shelter 食晚飯。步入餐廳,無疑地這是一個好地方,在鬧市之中找到一間環境輕鬆的餐廳是難得的事。坐低之後,點了一瓶水後,就開始叫主菜。平時抗拒食青口怕腥的我, 在朋友的慫恿之下, 點了一碟海鮮,乃是石班配上青口。在點之前其實都怕青口的味道,但意想不到的是, 味道比原本想像中的好,青口不太腥之餘,而且十分新鮮,證明餐廳用的一定不是雪藏食物。至於魚,魚身十分滑,口感一流, 唯一不足的是魚身的汁不夠,幸好這道菜的餸汁也足夠, 令整碟餸菜的味道仍屬上佳的水準。晚餐吃完後,就是淺嚐杯中物的時間。在舒適的環境來一杯酒,跟朋友在忙碌的生活中放慢腳步,也許是忙碌過後勞力工作的一種緩衝。

要說銅鑼灣的地標建築物,很多人可能會想起祟光百貨,但自從不遠處的希慎廣場開幕,它吸引的外型和內裡不少的人氣店舖如誠品和蘋果進駐後,令它成為新一代的銅鑼灣地標。今天到來的,就是位於這個新地標的七樓。住在市區的城市人,抬頭想看星空是不太可能,卻想不到在繁華的銅鑼灣夜空,也有不錯的霓虹燈夜景陪伴左右。因為有點事情要遲來而錯過了一些食物,坐下便是主菜等在眼前等待。主菜的Strozzapreti Vongole e Carciofi,Strozzapreti是意大利手打後烘焙的手卷意粉,意粉加入了蛤蜊和朝鮮薊,意粉的口感獨特有點韌性,跟一般見到的很不同,也十分上汁,只是獻汁重手了點。另一個主菜也是飽肚類的Risotto "Acquerello" ai Gamberi e Capesante,Risotto有點咬口又不過淋,白汁的濃調度也可以,加上鮮味的蝦肉和北海道海膽,成就了這個可以的意大利燴飯。雖然意大利燴飯內也吃到海鮮,但將海鮮作為主角也可獨當一面,緊隨送上的Baccala就是一例,Baccala就是用鹽醃好的鱈魚,雖然就是鹽味太突出,但跟青口和蘆筍走在一起,鮮甜度也有所提升。最後的主菜是V

最後的主菜是Vitello,就是大家可能吃過和聽過的牛仔肉,牛仔肉上桌時顏色十分粉嫩,吃下也感到肉質鬆軟,肉味也不錯,愛吃紅肉的朋友可一試。

吃過主角便是甜品Semifreddo上來,Semifreddo是冷凍了的Mojito,口感像mouuse和奶凍,伴以薄荷啫喱粒,加入已沖泡好的冷凍茉莉花茶,感覺有點像喝著超少型珍珠的珍珠奶茶,茉莉花茶跟Mojito看似不相容,茶花香跟酒精走左一起卻不奇怪。

Shelter位於銅鑼灣的希慎廣場內,以位置的優越度來說是不容置疑,加上空中花園的設計,現在天氣涼快一點,它在這區也有吸引力的。

不過身為女仔, 成餐飯最重要嘅都係飯後甜品, 我係個menu就咁睇左一眼, 都見到有成10款甜品,
而且仲要款款都好靚!

好似相入面呢兩款, 我都超中意食<3

份量雖然唔係好大, 但正正因為咁, 先至唔驚食到好 "漏", 所以真心推介呢度啲甜品!!

每個人滿足自己有很多方法, 有人選擇去購物大出血一場, 而我就中意以大吃一餐, 滿足自己嘅食慾就最痛快。選擇呢間餐廳的唯一原因就是因為三個字 "意大利'', 無錯, 我好中意食意大利菜, 特別係意大利粉, 所以我一坐低, 基本上諗都唔駛諗就叫呢個粗意粉配香辣蕃茄醬。個意粉係佢地自製, 個麵質幾彈牙, 一啲都唔粉, 而個蕃茄醬個味道都調較得好好, 酸甜味適中, 再配上少量嘅辣椒一齊煮, 個味道同埋層次更加豐富!一碟意粉, 咁就當然唔夠飽啦, 所以我叫多一份肉眼扒。呢份扒size唔算話好大, 可能係啲牛肉來貨貴, 不過唔緊要, 好食就得 -- 6成熟嘅牛扒, 味道固然好味, 再配我隔離嗰碟意粉, 黎一個肉眼扒加意粉嘅交響樂, 款款食材都係我個口入面發揮出自己嘅特色, 意大利粉、牛扒、芝士、茄醬加埋啲火箭菜, 味道原來係非常之合拍!

美得必需讓相機「先吃」囉~

由於是慶祝我們的生日,少不免要有巧克力生日牌

綜合而言,
我覺得場地裝置及層架各樣,用來作拍照之用是很不錯~
店方提供的大生日牌是一大亮點

但食物方面不太合我口味,
再加上預約安排上問題跟場地實在太熱了...
十分建議將會去這店的朋友,
預先表明要BOOK"室內"的位 (最少有風機及有上蓋),
而且要先吃比較易溶的食物喔~

小巧的牛角包是驚喜的鬆脆,內裡夾住一小片Mozzarella同沙律菜,味道不突出但也不膩。三文魚麵包卷鮮味十足,三文魚令麵包也充滿油香呢!第三層的三文治反而有點令人失望。黑色的蛋沙律三文治和一般的完全沒有兩樣,包還有些乾呢。橙色的牛油果三文治算是最滿意的一款,可能是因為蘿拔妹愛吃牛油果吧。另外一款三色椒多士也是十分平凡,少許醋味搭救吧。

最下面一層是最令人期待的甜品了!不得不贊的是那小巧可愛的Berries Tart!完全沒有想到Pastry可以是這麼鬆脆和富牛油香!裡面的奶油亦非常輕柔,很高質素的Pastry呢!最後面的開心果卷是硬得嚇人,其他的Tiramisu杯咖啡泡芙迷你Macarons牛油蛋糕都非常甜,沒什麼特別好推介的。另外那個車厘茄好像也不太新鮮,沒有吃。

蘿拔妹從來都覺得High Tea的價錢應該是包埋一個舒適的環境,不限時讓妹子盡情談心的,這裡確實是做到這一點。但是食物質素還是有待提升!總括來說The Shelter的熟悉環境還是非常不錯了啦!

It was my first time visiting this place. i made a booking for three people for 3pm a few days before. Me and my friends were running late, so i called to change the booking to 4pm and was glad that i could change my reservation without any fuss. i realized that the booking procedure was flexible or either that it isnt hard to reserve a place at this place. 

When i arrived there, there was a wide selection of tables alternating to different choices, and numbers of people. there was indoor and outdoor serating as well. the atmosphere was indeed very pleasant and relaxing. We chose to sit in one of the round tables , we ordered the afternoon tea set with 2 english breakfast tea.

 our tea set arrived after around 10 minutes. the tea set included mainly of sandwiches and dessert delicacies. If you are vegan or do not eat eggs, i would not recommend the tea set to you. Most of the food were made out of eggs , which is why one of my friends did not get to enjoy most of the food as she detested eggs. The sandwiches had egg salad fillings, which i found quite ordinary, a couple of desserts like the macarons and strawberry tart had lemon fillings in them which i found repititive. The tiramisu custard which came in a glass pot was too creamy as well. I most enjoyed the mini toasts with salad toppings on them, it was flavorful. the croissants were very pleasant as well. i also enjoyed the salmon sandwiches.

As for the service, i found that only a few waitors had a friendly attitude towards the customers. i found difficulties in getting attention from the other waitors to ask for requests such as extra utentils or even the bill ,sometimes there would be no waitors in sight to attend the customers.

All in all, i think that the food would have been better and have a wider range of desserts. i felt like the food wasnt worth the money and that i was paying mostly for the expensive setting of the restaurant.

The bar and restaurant are outdoors and are beautifully decorated. We had a drink in the bar area first where the service was attentive and pleasant. We ate in the dining area as a party of four. We ordered 2 pizzas, which were good, the lamb ribs and the suckling pig. The two meat dishes were execpetionally dissapointing, especially as they were $390 each when the 10pct service charge is added. They were ridiculously small, which is often the case when first class ingredients are used, however he quality of the meat was appalling, virtually all fat and sinew and very little flesh around the bones, certainly not first class. The accompanying mashed potato we ordered was very tasty, though again barely covered 2 desert spoon fulls in amount. The deserts were a diferent story. We ordered gellato, a Chocolate burger ( mouse between almond sponges) and the baked chocolate desert. These were all exceptionally good, the baked desert cooked perfectly with a runny centre and excellent raspberry sorbet. Overall it was a dissapoitning experience though, the little things such as the poor quality bread given at the table ( we asked for more which never arrived anyway), the low quality olive oil and vinegar served with the bread etc, and in general a mixture between some very attentive good staff, and those more interested in fooling around with their friends. At $2,500, for 4 mains, 4 deserts, 3 beers, 2 white wines,3 cokes and 2 teas, this is far from cheap, and had i known the price i would have chosen a restaurant which has a far better reputation for its food.

是咁的,喺香港食一餐意大利菜,普通的就是意粉屋Pizza hut, 但真的太普通了。與舊同事見面,總是想吃一點好的餐廳,與朋友歡聚一個晚上,能夠在一個舒適的環境吃晚餐更好的感覺。之前食過shelter一次,感覺不錯,而上次給我一個好的經歷,所以都抱有一種期望,期待著一餐好的晚餐降臨。Main Course點的是一個三文魚扒,結果沒有令我失望。因為一直很怕三文魚的油很多,吃起來不舒服的感覺。意外地,這個三文魚真的不錯,外層很脆之外,內面亦不會太生,熟透的程度都不錯。吃完之後,點了一杯啤酒,配上秋天的涼風,就歡聚了一個晚上。總結: 如果需要與朋友傾談一番,Shelter可以說是一個好選擇。

同朋友係Hysan行街, 行到攰攰地, 但係又唔想食food court咁dry, 所以就同朋友去試下新野, 我個朋友就話想食意大利菜, 咁啱我地又行到去商場嘅7樓, 咁就行左入去呢間shelter度食lunch。呢間餐廳都幾高級, 有好靚的裝修, 又有個好大嘅open-area, 啱晒宜家啲天氣, 所以我朋友就即刻拖我去揀個靚位坐XD係lunch hour雖然個餐廳都坐左幾多人, 但係個環境一啲都唔嘈, 真係抵讚! 至於野食方面, 我order左個青豆汁配意大利雲吞, 雖然睇相淨係得6隻餃子, 好似好少咁, 但對於我呢個女仔黎講, 6隻餃子已經夠我食lu! 先講講個汁先 -- 可能係我少食意大利菜, 個青豆汁我都係第一次食, 個汁幾濃郁, 係好清新, 等我第時都學下點煮先! 而個6隻餃子個餡料亦好豐富, 有煙肉同埋芝士, 食落都好快有飽肚嘅感覺, 啱晒lunch time食!整體黎講, 個環境同埋啲野食都好正好好食, 唯一可以改善嘅地方就係上菜的速度可以快啲就好! 我同朋友食完個前菜之後等左成10分鐘成上主菜, 感覺有啲慢... 不過有彈亦都有讚, 呢間餐廳啲侍應好好客, 佢地係上菜

整體黎講, 個環境同埋啲野食都好正好好食, 唯一可以改善嘅地方就係上菜的速度可以快啲就好! 我同朋友食完個前菜之後等左成10分鐘成上主菜, 感覺有啲慢... 不過有彈亦都有讚, 呢間餐廳啲侍應好好客, 佢地係上菜嘅時候都會略略講解碟餸菜, 又會主動提供建議和協助,真係訓練有素!

Sitting down with a welcome-drink, creative champaign-tea, we were observing this great podium with our jaw open. Why? When I was heart this restaurant, I didn't expect so high to its standard (considering it just another normal Italian restaurant with wine menu); while when we stepped in, everything was just awesome and cooli higher-standard.

It's a huge open dining area with spacious setting of soft sofa in semi-round shape, bamboo, lighter color, soft cushion are all related to the design of beach & resort atmosphere. Going deeper to the end, it appeared another large bar/lounge area which rounded by semi-transparent glass barrier. Everyone sitting in the bar could enjoy a breath-taking night view of Time Square area; and you could have more choices than bar chairs, even lounge sofas and a reservation-required bamboo chair in a shape of samosa

Rossini (Champagne Cocktail $120) is one of their MUMM champagne cocktails. It's fantastic strawberry-red with a thin layer of glutinous bubbles (Strawberry Pearl) at the bottom. It was absolutely a strawberry-girl's drink with strawberry liqueur while it's slightly strong in taste, which might be not that easy-accepted by a girl not used to alcohol.

Poached Boston Lobster, Fruit Salad of Mango, Papaya Melon, Blue Berry, Strawberry & Lobster Sabayon

Starting from the salads, it was featured in fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese and seafoods, which was still catering to this hot early autumn in Hong Kong. The presentation was massively rich in color, bringing such a brightness to the comparable darker dining atmosphere there. I was absolutely a big fan of their Asparagi, Tartufo Nero, for its slow-melting cheese with the attractive black truffle dressing.

A classical salad playing with seafood and fruit would never disappoint you if it's fresh supplied in good quality; and their Astice, made it! Especially mentioned was the Boston Lobster which was just made in simplest but the most appropriate way to express its natural sweetness. (Well, it would be perfecter if mango and papaya could be in firmer, harder, crisper texture.)

Going for Italian Cuisine, how can we miss pasta! Risotto, a rice version of pasta, was quite well done on an average level, while I would crave chewier texture from the rice. The handmade Strozzapreti was worthy to be strongly recommended even all of us thought it's over-salted. I was quite in its soft but chewy texture which was paired to the word, handmade! The oil-moisture surface was just cooling down to give a semi-sticky layer to the pasta, which kept the all flavorsome essentials from the ingredients such as garlic, herb, olive oil, clam. Again, it was quite salty, but our spoons were just keeping on moving.

Stuffed Veal Chop with Mushroom, Spinach and Parmesan, Wrapped in Pork Net, Truffle Mashed Potato

Seafood and land main courses was also outstanding in the presentation and quality. Baccala, was undoubtedly, the No.1 dish in taste, ingredients and presentation throughout the whole dinner. It's a balance in colors and shape; it's rich combination of seafoods and fishes, and it's quality-seasoning by the lighter but tasty seafood dressing/soup.

Vitello, it was interesting to combine pork and beef (veal) together, and plus a spinach and parmesan insider. It wasn't in a meaty style, but giving a tender, mild, cheesy and pork-sweet taste in large, unfortunately it seems to lose a lot flavor of veal chop.

Mojito Semifreddo, Peppermint Jelly with Jasmine Tea Sauce

It was such a summer-time dessert which gave a cool feeling by its crystal-green jelly, while jelly seems to be over-sweet. However, the mojito semifreddo (semi-frozen ice cream cake) was really good by a fresh lemon-sourness and ice-cream sweetness, plus the butter cookie tart, it was like a digesting after-dinner treatment indeed. I would consider it more like a fresher and lighter version of lemon cheesecake more than semifreddo, but a little sorry for I couldn't taste the jasmine tea sauce.

As I mentioned at the beginning, the design of Shelter is quite higher-standard and luxury-targeted. A collection good imported ingredients in seafoods, meats and dressings, a line of branded champagne and cocktails, and most importantly a well-decorated night space, are for sure lifted this restaurant up. Further, you could even find they are willing to invest in a simple hand towel by a condensed-mask technique to play a game with you and to impress you.

白皙的意大利飯,頂部襯上蝦隻和北海道帶子,平凡的賣相,吸引力並不算強。但經一試後,就如俗語所云 — 人不可貌相。飯粒生熟度剛好,嚼勁帶出不俗的口感,清新與有著微微檸檬香氣的醬汁,味道輕柔而不覺膩,而意大利飯中更混有鮮甜的蝦粒和帶子粒,用料充沛!

單憑嗅覺及視覺,酒香、蜆仔和自製的手捲意粉,已告知這是我喜愛的味道。自製的手捲意粉非常煙韌富彈性,每一口都令人過足口癮;紐西蘭蜆隻鮮甜帶濃濃的海水味道,配合雅枝竹與酒香,味道非常美好!也許是蜆隻的天然鹽份,使得整體稍為過鹹!

Baccala 是一道魚的主菜。獨特之處是鱈魚以類似鹹鮮方法醃製,使本來軟綿的鱈魚肉,變得較為爽彈,兼且帶著輕鹹的味兒,一向喜歡品嚐鹹鮮魚的我,當然對它喜愛有加,而且廚師還把鱈魚放在蘆筍、青口和蜆隻烹調的清湯中煮理,將鹹鮮的味道引出,味道更加清鮮可人!

粉紅的牛仔排釀上菠菜和 Parmesan 芝士,再伴上磨菇及松露薯蓉,便是 Vitello 了!牛仔排看似肉嫩,但入口卻帶點繃硬,而餡料的菠菜與 Parmesan 芝士則有點過鹹,整體感覺一般!

從前 Carbonara 都是給我一種甜膩的感覺,所以不大喜歡,在「Shelter」試了一個據聞是正宗烹調的Carbonara 後,我對 Carbonara 從此改觀!

Pasta 固然是有咬口、彈性豐富,一吃已讓人傾心。然而分別之大在於醬汁,醬汁雖濃稠、但蛋香濃郁,味道細緻,讓人有著一口接著一口的回味魅力!不過,總不能到處嘗試,還是對「Shelter」做的Carbonara 較有信心!

「Shelter」雖是置身於喧鬧的銅鑼灣區,也是餐廳與酒吧的結合,但用餐環境與意大利主廚的菜式,令人可放鬆地深深呼吸,有著煥然一身的感覺,下次不用擠在人貼人的連鎖咖啡室,「Shelter」這個空中花園會是一個令人喘息的最佳選擇!

At the beginning, I was slightly confused between Shelter Italian Restaurant and Shelter Lounge – in fact they are two different places and both newly opened. Shelter Italian inside Hysan place is actually a open rooftop space and in this sense fairly unique. Usually similar concept restaurants and bars have a combination of an inside restaurant space with weather protection, but then carries an additional fully opened terrace space. Shelter Italian inside Hysan place is actually a open rooftop space and in this sense fairly unique. Usually similar concept restaurants and bars have a combination of an inside restaurant space with weather protection, but then carries an additional fully opened terrace space. Shelter Italian doesn’t actually have any closed off space, it is a bold concept but as it’s name suggests it snugs in underneath a bridge connection inside Hysan Place and this acts literally like a ‘Shelter’, and if the wind is strong enough you might still get rain blowing onto your Dinner plates. Thanks for the Invitation by the Shelter Group, which also operates Shelter in Macau and the new Cubic Club in City of Dreams, Macau.

Shelter Afternoon Tea Set for 2 – $388

Served in a Golden Bird cage, apparently this is one of the most popular Afternoon Tea Sets that has quickly spread word around Hong Kong. Shows that Bling Bling and an interesting presentation always sells itself well especially amongst the females.

Pistachio Cannolo –

I was really looking forward to this, but when I bit in, the raw pistachio (as opposed to toasted pistachio) taste and also the really salty savouriness, possibly from both this and Ricotta Cheese, really shocked me. It also didn’t have much citrus zest flavours. Needed a lot more sugar to be a dessert and very grassy. *We reflected this to the Management already, hope they will improve this item

The Ciabatta was way better than expected, I think it will go well for a Steak Sandwich with a Pesto sauce.

Mesclun Salad with Asparagus, Celery, Tomato, Truffle Dressing and Shaved Truffles -

The Summer Truffles had an Earthy Aroma and was actually stronger than many places I have had it, including some of the biggest names in town. Kind of surprised. - 7/10

Poached Boston Lobster, Papaya, Mango, Blueberry, Strawberry and Lobster Sabayon -

This looked pretty. It’s a bit summery with the fruits, but somehow I expected more savoury and lobster sabayon flavour. But aesthetically a pleasing dish. ¬ 7/10

Acquerello Risotto, Rose Prawn, Hokkaido Scallop, Spinach, Lemon Scent and Pantelleria Capers -

This was much more sophisticated than it seems, inside were diced prawns and grilled whole prawns, scallop, and dried capers, with a good crustacean taste than the risotto color reveals. Was pleasantly surprised by this. - 8.5/10

House-made Strozzapreti Pasta, New Zealand Diamond Clams, Artichokes -

The Dish of the Night for most of us. The clams are pretty briny and salty, some people thought this was too salty but I see a reason for this. With the artichokes and nicely textured pastas, this is the dish to come back for definitely. - 8.5/10

Gadus Morhua Spanish line caught White Cod, Mussel & Clam Broth Powder, Asparagus -

This White Cod is surprisingly slightly salted cured first but they only used the internal parts. I liked the concentrated taste of this and it also carries a slightly chewy texture, which is 1 of 2 ways to represent a cod fish. Ultimately however, I think this was a little too simple and I liked the salads and pasta dishes above more. - 6.9/10

Stuffed Veal Chop ‘Vitello’ with Mushrooms, Spinach & Parmesan, Wrapped in Pig’s Caul Fat, Truffle Mashed Potatoes -

This looked good and the pork was cooked decently, yet on top of the caul fat lubrication it needed more of the reduced jus to bring it to another level! This was a good recipe but it needed more of the mushrooms, spinach and parmesan taste. - 6.9/10

Spaghetti Carbonara with Guanciale pork cheeks, Eggs, Parmesan and Black Pepper -

The recipe was very close to a real Roman/Lazio version, without cream and even mentioned Guanciale and Black Pepper in the same sentence – how can we not order this? It turned out this was pretty well done for Hong Kong Context, it even had enough Black Pepper which is one of the essentials of a true Carbonara. The Parmesan cheese is more a compromise as it should in theory use more sheep’s milk Pecorino Romano cheese, but in local context, this was easily one of the best ones around. - 8/10

Mojito Semifreddo, Peppermint Jelly, Jasmine Tea Sauce -

When I saw this arrived my eyes cringed at the green mint jellies, they were so fluorescent in colour. But the Mojito Semifreddo at it’s half frozen state tasted better than anticipated and has a graham cracker base, with the tea sauce a nice addition. I just wished the portion was bigger somehow. - 7/10

Inside Hysan Place in Causeway Bay -

I really did not expect to see such a dining and bar space here. The food is looked after by a Northern Italian Chef, and this is evident down to his pretty accurate version of a Pasta Carbonara, which correct versions in town can be counted with 1 hand. Some dishes were more than decent, the Afternoon Tea was surprisingly presentable. My general observation is that Main Courses here are a bit too expensive to my liking, I would suggest you to order the Entrees and Pasta courses as a first test.

Price: By Invitation to Shelter Italian Bar & Restaurant. Approximately $190 per person Afternoon Tea, $700 + 10% for Dinner per Person

Food: ♕♕♕♕ to ♕♕♕♕ 1/2
