有很多人都不喜歡排隊等位,但我認為值不值得等才是最重要。今次來到 PMQ後面的一間小餐廳,大概七點多你已經會見到人龍。店員也有很親切叫你留下電話,如果有座位的時候會打電話給你...可以告訴你,是騙。人。的。因為 Walk in 客太多了,可能根本都顧不上電話了。我是企在門口等的,足足45分鐘才能入座。也沒關係,當然是因為真的很好吃啦!我們一行人坐在 Bar 枱,看著師博親自炮製自己的料理也挺賞心閱目。這次叫了很多小吃,推介一下它的招牌包包,下次會再來影多一點相!

The taste of the pork belly bao was excellent, with complementary tasting fatty pork and sauce and was without a doubt the best dish. The spicy fried chicken was good but somewhat nondescript and the veg was just OK. We also had dumplings which were Chinese-Western fusion and tasted good - however a lot of local dumpling places do them better.

Although this restaurant is gentrification and therefore expensive, the prices are  too high for what you get. $78 for a bao seems OK on the surface but it's no-where near enough for a meal and the sides, for example $128 for four dumplings, are hard to stomach. Although it's worth to try the pork belly bao once, I didn't walk away really understanding the hype.

After watching BBC video about "The best female chef in Asia", five of us came by at 6.10pm and it was already packed despite opening just 10min earlier. But the wait wasn't too long; we were seated by 6.30pm.We ordered lamb tartare, truffle fries, grilled pork and a burger each.I especially liked the steamed bun texture with the fried chicken. The coleslaw took away the greasiness of the fried chicken.It was an enjoyable meal in a comfortable laid back ambience!

I especially liked the steamed bun texture with the fried chicken. The coleslaw took away the greasiness of the fried chicken.

Tons of restaurants have truffle fries on their menu, but Little Bao's are not yo momma's truffle fries. Ingredients include shiitake tempeh, truffle mayo and pickled daikon. Delish! I also liked the pork belly bao; I was a fan of the leek & red onion salad that topped it.

Don't forget to look up at the board above the bar, as they have additional specials that may not be around permanently. We tried the mango pomelo ice cream bao, and I loved the sweet, deep fried bun.

Good news is that if you're not into waiting, they do have delivery (I think with online dining platform !)

I wanted to visit this new hip eatery while visiting HK it started off ok when I arrived about 8:45pm the front of house took my name and told me there would be a 30-45min wait time as the place is quite tiny inside. I happily obliged sat down with a friend outside and we grabbed a drink to wait. As it edged over to the 45min mark I noticed that people arriving after my friend and I were being seated before us and this happened at least 4 times to the point where I stood up to ask the front of house what was happening since it seemed like other patrons were being seated before us even though we had been waiting longer. Instead of communicating effectively to say that some of these were returning patrons who had gone off to wait I was met with a 'just chill' response to which I felt was highly offensive way to respond to a patron asking a legitimate question about seating arrangements especially we had been waiting patiently without a word for almost a hour for a very late dinner. Though the food was tasty albeit expensive for what it was the rest of the night was dampened by my poor customer service experience. In this day and age when good restaurants with delicious food and tasty food is readily available what sets them apart is service and in this area Little Bao has a lot to learn. I will not be returning nor recommending this restaurant to any of my friends. Don't tell your patrons to chill it's not the appropriate response in any dining experience.

咁岩係附近見完客,一個人唔知食咩好,行下行下去到Little Bao 一個人唔洗等位 都幾好以前都食過 所以一定會嗌佢個Truffle Fries貪佢個sauce夠rich又足料,比起坊間Truffle Fries得幾粒松露好好多Keep到個味道黎左Fries無幾耐就黎佢個Sichuan Chicken Bao⋯⋯記憶中好食D嫁。今次黎好似無咁好食可能係今次有d林林地個Sauce還可以今次真係大獲⋯⋯一個人食唔哂,反而係食哂個薯條,個包包食唔哂眼闊肚窄!下次會試佢其他包包或者黎食甜品

For sharing we ordered the “sesame Caesar” and the “lamb tartare”.

Sesame Caesar was made from “Indian lettuce” (which looked a lot like cabbage) with pieces of dace (which also goes mud carp, but dace sounds better) and a Caesar dressing with black beans, playing of the classical Hong Kong canned food豆豉鯪魚. Overall a good, but quite heavy salad and interesting variant, but not necessary an improvement of a Caesar.

Lamb tartare tasted very much like a good beef tartare, only with light lamb aftertaste. Was served with deep fried tofu skin, which looked a lot like papadums and added a nice crunch (but not much flavor).

The buns are an interesting idea. They have little to do with Chinese Baozi, what they serve is a steamed bun (basically a Mantou), which is cut open, fried in one side and then filled like a hamburger, the texture of the bun is a bit denser than a hamburger bun, I found that quite enjoyable.

All the variants have a sort of a fusion theme. The pork belly bun has two slices of fried pork belly and let’s face it: you can’t go wrong with pork belly, the pickles add a nice extra crunch and tartness – very yummy.

The Sichuan fried chicken is a bit more conventional, although there are some Sichuan spices the coleslaw tips is very much towards a western style. Still good, but not as special.

The starters are around 100 HKD and the bunds are 78 HKD, which is obviously not cheap for a small, fancy sandwich, but despite the casual atmosphere the food a creative and high quality, which in my view justifies the price tag.

Service was fast and friendly.

Beef Bao: It is a grass-fed organic feed, with tomato jam, roasted onion sesame mao, shiso and cheedar cheese. Basically a cheese burger, but better.
 The beef as so tender, so soft, merging all the ingredients together, which was so good!! The bao wasn;t very big...took me around 3-4 bites to finish, portion was also perfect...not too overwhelming.

LB Ice Cream Bao - Green Tea with Condensed Milk: This is the hero of the whole return! Size of palm, the bao was fried top and bottom to crispy and held together with cut of green tea ice cream with a drizzle of condensed milk.
 The ice cream had a little more kick into it, not just any regular green tea ice cream, but this carries a stronger green tea taste. 


This place is definately worth coming back again and again. But I personally prefer the day time, as there's not many people. For the price I'm paying, I would call it worth!

咬第一啖.....樣呆左...
佢個包係炸既..之後就落左D錬奶係面...
老實講...同炸饅頭冇分別...=.=
錬奶太濃喇個味....
根本上就搶左GREEN TEA雪糕既味...
我只認為我一直都食緊一個好熱辣辣既饅頭加一舊冇味既雪糕而已
48蚊分量都相當細...唉....
但唔係話唔好味既...只係本身期望會高D唧我...

復活節最後一天假期,於PMQ逛完一輪後,看到很多人在店外排隊等候,抱着人排我排的心理,便進入此店憩一憩。由於接近晚飯時候,只點了兩個包...吃兩個包才吃晚飯?不要太驚訝...店名叫做Little Bao, 絕無欺騙成份, 因為真係好little, 大概比我手掌還要細,老實說以這個價錢確實有點兒昂貴,不過食物的賣相及味道又不會令我後悔走進來。Pork Belly Bao $78以剛出爐的中式饅頭夾着兩塊腩肉,肥瘦適中,伴着中西合璧的洋蔥及幼蔥絲,再加上惹味濃汁,絕配!LB Ice Cream Bao - Salt Ice Cream wz Caramel - $48曾經吃過某牌子的海鹽雪糕,以為可以再一嘗這種味道,但吃過後海鹽及caramel 的味道也不算太明顯, 唯一有少少驚喜的是用炸過的饅頭來夾著雪糕吃有點兒新鮮感吧!

曾經吃過某牌子的海鹽雪糕,以為可以再一嘗這種味道,但吃過後海鹽及caramel 的味道也不算太明顯, 唯一有少少驚喜的是用炸過的饅頭來夾著雪糕吃有點兒新鮮感吧!
