Flank $78/100g, min 200g, 呢到230g, medium rare. 切個陣個牛有d un, 但食落肉質都淋, 上網睇話呢個部位係會比較硬, 但肉味都幾好, 整體黎講唔錯, 好食🤤

最後食完叫多左個心太軟食$80, 超級好食!!!!!!
做到流心效果, 朱古力味濃, 配埋個雪糕有冰火交融ge 感覺, 必食!

成晚一路食一路望住廚師整野食, 好好睇, 佢地d 擺盤好有心機, 亦都好大份好足料, 睇到我想試曬咁多款野食
呢個價錢有呢個份量又有得睇住整野食好超值☺️☺️☺️

I had a party of 4pax and we made reservations ahead of time - upon arrival, we discovered that there was outdoor seating in the back so smokers are welcomed. It was the first time we visited this restaurant and I must say the service was amazing. The manager Jessica was friendly and outgoing, and our party just felt so welcomed! We hung out, chitchatted and was even recommended an off the menu steak for sharing plus a series of sides that included freshly cased sausage from that morning! Jessica showed us a video of how the sausage was made and how their leading butcher designed the flavors herself, and we definitely didn't regret a single item we ordered that night.

The atmosphere was great, and since we were seated outdoors, there was much more freedom and flow of fresh air (very important during this day and age of COVID dining). Seating was comfortable and there was enough room to fit 6pax at our table.

The first to arrive was the beef tartar - since I don't favor raw proteins, my friends were the one who commented saying the bread was toasted to a crispy perfection and the tartar was full of rich flavors.

Next was one of my favorites - the pate which came with crispy toast and fried garlic crisps. It was so rich and fragrant that we had to order a second helping of bread to finish the plate (the server as  extremely nice and catered to our hungry hungry hippo demands). This is a MUST TRY and great appetizer if you're looking to share with a large group.

Then came the pork belly which was nice and crunchy on the outside and slightly soft on the inside. It was a tad too crispy for me but that's only my personal preference as I like pork belly super soft. It's very well seasoned and the aioli dipping sauce was to die for.

We were almost full by then with the appetizers when the freshly cased sausage arrived (we soldiered through)! The texture was softer than I imagined but exploding with rich flavors. The manager  would visit our table every so often to ask for our opinions, and we actually engaged in a nice little discussion on the amount of heat should go into each link to make the flavors pop even more  - she really knows her food and we can feel the heart she has in her staff, chef, butcher, and restaurant as a whole.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to post any steak photos because we basically devoured it upon arrival - our cameras didn't make it to capture the gorgeous moment. But I can say, it was a perfect cook at medium rare, super juicy with a great bite. We paired it with a bottle of wine and that's when the party began.

We were stuffed but couldn't leave without a nice dessert. We opt for the lava cake, but unfortunately it was sold out so we ordered the Cookies and Cream which was soft, gooey, and oh so delicious! We took a shot and asked Jessica whether there was ice-cream and she graciously offered us vanilla a la mode on the house - it was the perfect pairing to a lovely evening.  NO REGRETS with the cookie and cream at all!

I think by the end of the evening, we were chatting with everyone including the server (Rock/Rocky) and the dining experience was just unforgettable. I will definitely visit again with friends and see if we can secure the outdoor area for any private gatherings.

Lastly, the whole bill was approx. $500-600 per person which wasn't bad at all for the amount of food and wine we ordered (remember, we ordered the off the menu steak as well) so I would recommend this restaurant to anyone if you're exploring Sai Kung or the area!

星期一午市專登去食個set lunch,12點45去到已經七成滿,本地女侍應叫我地坐吧檯,我都覺得幾好,可以望住廚師整野食。等左大約5-8分鐘先有個外籍女侍應幫我地落單,我地點左兩個set lunch 冇加野飲,都同佢講左不下4-5次thanks,等左大約15分鐘有野食。豬扒好厚,皮煎到好脆,中間啲肉就因為比較瘦所以會硬少少,都感覺良好。手撕豬肉漢堡好食,有個好味嘅汁,加埋脆卜卜煙肉一齊食,是日亮點。薯條係粗長版,熱同脆,冇野投訴。埋單叫左三次都俾人hea,企正喺部收銀機前面5分鐘都冇人嚟埋單(當時已走剩3-4個客,其他檯都冇特別要serve),見到外籍女侍應張相喺啲牌照度出現,疑似係老闆娘。當時外籍女侍應係見到我企左喺度等佢,但佢依然無視我同兩個啱啱入嚟坐低嘅客吹水唔理我,到佢吹完水就行去廚房搞一大輪都唔出嚟,後來見到佢拎啲餐湯定餐飲俾嗰兩個啱啱入嚟坐低嘅客,對比返頭先我地坐低等左咁耐先有人落單真係天淵之別。加埋佢啲嘴臉,唔知真係以為係我欠左佢!本來諗緊佢係咪歧視香港人,但有啲客都係本地面孔,仲相談甚歡,我諗佢只係歧視年輕新客/唔額外加野食嘅客。呢間野真係冇下次,除非想貼錢買難受啦

After a long day of venturing in Sai Kung it was great to stumble across this half butcher half steak house. Basically another Feather and Bone but on a small scale. None the less we were seated at the bar and loved the interaction with the chef. While their Iberico ribs was heavy on the salt, we enjoyed the rest of the food served. 7/10 for flavours and service. My Friends and I were a party of 6 who decided to grab some food at Bones & Blades around between 4-5 pm after our long walk around Sai Kung.  I was surprised that we were only offered seatings in their outdoor tables;  unfortunately, the area is still hot despite the presence of an umbrella because of the walls enclosing the area. The western lady who appears to be the floor manager did not accommodate our request to be seated inside the almost empty restaurant which only had 2 customers. THE

My Friends and I were a party of 6 who decided to grab some food at Bones & Blades around between 4-5 pm after our long walk around Sai Kung.  I was surprised that we were only offered seatings in their outdoor tables;  unfortunately, the area is still hot despite the presence of an umbrella because of the walls enclosing the area.

The western lady who appears to be the floor manager did not accommodate our request to be seated inside the almost empty restaurant which only had 2 customers. THE SAD PART IS that my friend saw this lady raised her middle finger on us when we decided to leave because she could not offer us seats inside, INFRONT OF THE OTHER 2 CUSTOMERS (gweilos) AND OTHER CHINESE CREW!!!!.  I hope the owner of this restaurant is not a foreigner and finds time to review their CCTV and gives justice.  It's a shame because we've heard that the food is great there.

This is a terrible and humiliating experience

繼前日在西貢墟某間扒房西餐廳裡面,人生第一次試食油脂比例最重,口感最嫩的「柳眼扒」 之後,我嘗試一個人光顧享用「柳眼扒」,不過光顧的扒房就變成在西貢海傍的「Bones & Blades」。位於「萬年街」的西貢分店「Bones & Blades」,其實曾經轉換過食店的正式名稱,「Bones & Blades」的前身扒房店名名稱,叫做「Quarter Master」。「Quarter Master」最初在西貢「萬年街」開張營業的時候,當時我已經有考慮過上門光顧「Quarter Master」,怎料我最後還是趕不及光顧「Quarter Master」,「Quarter Master」已經在我面前消失了。我個人就完全不知道,為什麼外面也有分店的扒房西餐廳「Quarter Master」,為什麼忽然需要更改食店名稱變成「Bones & Blades」了,只知道我光顧「Bones & Blades」的時候,招呼我的侍應都是操英語的外國人。我需要花上平生非常有限的英語溝通能力,跟「Bones & Blades」的外籍侍應點餐,後來才知道點選「Bones & Blades」的版本「柳眼扒」,「Bone

我個人就完全不知道,為什麼外面也有分店的扒房西餐廳「Quarter Master」,為什麼忽然需要更改食店名稱變成「Bones & Blades」了,只知道我光顧「Bones & Blades」的時候,招呼我的侍應都是操英語的外國人。

我需要花上平生非常有限的英語溝通能力,跟「Bones & Blades」的外籍侍應點餐,後來才知道點選「Bones & Blades」的版本「柳眼扒」,「Bones & Blades」的「肉眼扒」食品,至少需要點二百五十克才行。

偏偏「Bones & Blades」裡面提供的「肉眼扒」售價價錢,都定了每一百克「肉眼扒」牛肉,需要收費港幣九十元,換言之在「Bones & Blades」點一份「肉眼扒」,最少都需要港幣二百二十五元的昂貴價錢。

所以我最後決定了,放棄選擇享用「Bones & Blades」餐牌裡面其他的小食食品,只食一份至少二百五十克,「五成熟」的「Ribeye」,又名「柳眼扒」,沒有其他醬汁的燒烤「肉眼扒」牛肉。

「Bones & Blades」裡面的侍應,不像其他扒房西餐廳的侍應那麼詢問我,想為「肉眼扒」選擇或推薦什麼口味的醬汁,我後來才知道「Bones & Blades」廚房製作的「肉眼扒」,調味料只是類似「岩鹽」的食鹽而已。

後來我點餐之後,坐在「Bones & Blades」吧檯,看着「Bones & Blades」廚房裡面的廚師在我面前,進行燒烤「肉眼扒」的工作。另一方面我發現「Bones & Blades」廚房負責燒牛肉的人,竟然是說廣東話的香港人。

結果在「Bones & Blades」廚房裡面負責燒烤牛扒的香港人廚師,又再次印證西貢墟裡面的外國餐廳,為了方便與香港人食客溝通,最後還是在所難免需要聘請熟悉廣東話的人做店員,「Bones & Blades」也無法成為例外。

我在「Bones & Blades」開放式廚房吧檯裡面,聽完熟悉廣東話的店員解釋過後,才真真正正開始了解,「Bones & Blades」的運作流程,也知道了「Bones & Blades」不只收現金,還有其他支付賬單的方法。

例如我之前曾經在將軍澳「調景嶺」「彩明商場」裡面,光顧過某間韓國燒烤餐廳,結賬的時候才發現,原來還可以透過銀行提款卡裡面擁有的「銀聯」繳費方式,支付賬單裡面的費用。

所以當我知道在「Bones & Blades」裡面選擇享用牛扒食品,是有最低消費選擇磅數重量,例如選擇享用「Bones & Blades」的「肉眼扒」,至少需要選擇享用二百五十克,間接提升了享用「肉眼扒」實際需要的費用。

即使「Bones & Blades」餐牌裡面,也有向食客製作和提供,售價價錢相對比較便宜的牛肉食品,例如「芝士漢堡」跟「雙層芝士漢堡」,結果我還是被上次食過「柳眼扒」經歷所影響,最後還是選擇了食燒烤「肉眼扒」。

雖然「Bones & Blades」廚房即場製作出來的二百五十克份量「肉眼扒」,沒有任何醬汁作伴,迫使我要另外利用店內的調味樽,倒出一些酸甜味道的「蕃茄醬」作為調味醬料。

後來我試食了第一口,「Bones & Blades」廚房製作的「肉眼扒」牛肉之後,才發現「Bones & Blades」只為「肉眼扒」提供「岩鹽」調味,目的原來為了提升「肉眼扒」裡面牛肉原有鮮味。

所以我利用「Bones & Blades」提供的餐刀和餐叉,切開第一塊「五成熟」「肉眼扒」牛肉和放入口之後,我終於食到「肉眼扒」牛肉裡面原本的偏甜牛肉原味,和少許鹽份帶出的鹹鮮味道。

至於「Bones & Blades」「五成熟」「肉眼扒」的製成品,「肉眼扒」的實際厚度雖然比我之前食過的「柳眼扒」厚了一兩吋左右,但是「Bones & Blades」「肉眼扒」的偏軟腍口感,跟之前食過的「柳眼扒」一模一樣。

不過,由於「Bones & Blades」沒有安排為「肉眼扒」提供任何的調味醬汁,只是安排廚房裡面的店員,為「肉眼扒」旁邊灑少許「海鹽」作為調味料,我才食到「肉眼扒」裡面的新鮮牛肉甜味。

或許是西方大部分國家裡面的鐵板燒烤牛扒餐廳,都很少製作不同味道的調味醬汁,作為炸牛扒,或者其他燒烤肉類食品的調味醬料,所以「Bones & Blades」不加醬汁的做法,令當時的我感覺有點驚訝。

相反地,若然「Bones & Blades」廚房跟其他扒房餐廳一樣,都在新鮮燒好的「肉眼扒」旁邊,加上醬料例如「黑椒汁」、「咖喱汁」或者「蒜蓉」的話,「肉眼扒」實際食到的牛肉味道,或許會受醬汁味道的影響而變質。

相反地,現在我只利用「Bones & Blades」廚房,為燒烤牛扒的時候,另外附上「岩鹽」調味料,製作而成的「五成熟」「肉眼牛扒」,成為我食過以來,不靠調味醬汁也能食到的最濃味燒烤牛肉。

而且「Bones & Blades」負責盛載燒烤牛扒,跟其他燒烤肉類食品上檯的餐具,不是一般港式扒房餐廳裡面會見到的灸熱高溫鐵板,也不是冰冰冷冷的瓦碟,而是直接放在沒有加熱的薄身鐵板上面。

結果「Bones & Blades」廚房店員燒到剛剛好「五成熟」,肉質很厚實的「肉眼扒」,成為我食過的「牛扒」以來,口感最鬆軟,油脂比例感覺最豐腴,牛肉味道最鮮甜的燒烤「肉眼扒」牛肉,「蕃茄醬」變成錦上添花。

「Bones & Blades」唯一感覺有點美中不足的地方,感覺就是最初的服務安排,未能一一滿足所有上門光顧「Bones & Blades」燒烤食品的食客而已。

因為「Bones & Blades」在「開飯喇」戶口裡面,原先有關收費方式的設定裡面,本來就只有「現金」方式而已。但是,後來我詢問完「Bones & Blades」侍應之後,才知道原來還可以選擇以「銀聯」方式去結賬的。

直到我跟「Bones & Blades」裡面的外籍侍應溝通了解完畢過後,才知道我原來還可以利用銀行的提款卡,提款卡裡面的「銀聯」繳費方式支付賬單,我當堂鬆了一口氣,如釋重負。

今次我在「Bones & Blades」的晚餐體驗,告訴我原來食店在「開飯喇」戶口裡面的資料,未必完全是百分之百準確,食店固然有責任提供更新食店資料,食客也可以選擇這樣做。

Amazing place to go for meat- the location is right at Sai Kung Pier close to the traditional seafood restaurants. There’s a meat counter where you can pick your own meat (they are a butcher shop as well so you can bring stuff home to barbecue!). Oven-prepared rib and the lamb were highlights. Decent wine options and beers to go with your meal. Great outdoor dining area at the back with patio umbrellas. Jessica took care of our table all night! Will definitely be back! 繼我幾年前寫過一篇關於呢個Topic,今次係我又再忍唔住。母親節一家人開開心心去食飯,價錢 已不是考慮因素,大熱天時,我坐外面都冇所謂。有個Staff 好好,知我們坐出面,所以同時開左道門,等冷氣抽出來,好讓我們食得舒服點。正直開開心心之制,一位So call 外籍經理出來粗暴地同我地講,說:「你們涼了,但入面就熱左。(英文)」之後在我們面前好好心地既鬧Staff。頂! 我即刻回應:「從來我冇介意坐戶外,最介意係你既態度」大節流流,都成$1500 餐飯,點解我要受你氣。最後更興的是,原來外國坐坐戶外,待遇完全不一樣。咁鐘意外國人,去外國開啦!食物,其實係ok既,價錢都值,好厚的牛排都可做到外脆內嫩,不過呢咁既態度,真係令人 背脊骨落。
