本身bookmark咗呢間餐廳好耐,滿心期待嚟,但體驗令人失望。openrice Book咗12點枱,但自已搵唔到我地個booking就係咁阻止入座,其實成間餐廳未有人。之後比咗張門口位我地坐。坐低好串咁問我哋飲咩水,俾咗3秒時間我哋揀tap/sparkling/warm water, 見我哋未答就串我哋唔識英文。後尾另一個店員serve都好啲,但已一肚氣。食物ok 但食完快快想走。 叫咁薯仔粒,魚seebass, 牛面肉。

We had a satisfying Christmas Eve dinner at Calle Ocho which was reasonably priced ($598 + 10% per person). Here is the menu:Tapas Starters The truffle eggs with baby potatoes were particularly filling. Already more than 50% full before having the mainsHere are the mainsWrap up with a nice dessertOne improvement point to consider is the long waiting time. We waited more than 30 minutes for our table despite having a reservation in advance. Nevertheless, the food quality was generally good, quite heavy though. The portion was more than enough. The staff provided warm and welcoming service.

Three of us had lunch here and all of us had ordered meat balls as our starter. The meatballs were horrible, they were the worst meatballs I’ve had in my whole life . They were barely warm, tasteless and mushy and in a winter day with outside temperature of 15C, that was not a welcoming dish at all. I’ve had numerous dining experience with the Pirata group and Pici also serves meatballs, they are fine and I have no idea what went wrong with the chef in this restaurant. Other dishes are really so so cos they couldn’t beat the worst meatballs we’ve had as our first dish. Staff are friendly and nice though
