今日突然好想食PASTA.. 去左蘇豪區.. 今日選擇左呢一間叫左set lunch, soup+pasta of the day+drinkCream soup w/ broccoli個湯夠晒熱, 雖然唔creamy, 但好有咬口食到西蘭花蕃茄長通粉配蒜蓉飽蕃茄汁夠質地, 而且都酸酸地, 但都可以接受, 岩晒口淡淡既我長通粉軟硬適中, 唔會太林, NICE!Caffe Latte唔太奶, 無咩咖啡味, 有待改進Lemon tart食完個set 好想食cake, 個tart 好fresh 又唔會酸, 幾好!雖然d 食物唔錯, 可惜個waitress 做野好慢, 成日唔記得左跟單.. 連收錢都唔收...只係得3張table 有客都可以咁, 如果人多d咪....=.=

雖然間鋪入面都幾多人下, 不過一去到就有位, 幾好!!入面 d 燈叫左1個 English Afternoon Tea Set for 2 (HK$160), 原來係有1份三文魚三文治 (切成 4 份), 2 個 scones (1 個有提子, 1 個無提子), 1件 cheese cake (不過唔知有無得揀食咩 cheese cake, 我地果份係 Mango cheesecake, 走果陣見到隔離枱係 Mocha cheesecake), 仲有 2 杯 drink (either tea or coffee)個 set 幾好食 ar , 2 個 scone 都好有牛油香, 加上 Strawberry jam 或者 clotted cream 都真係一流!! Nice weekend afternoon ar!! 不過 d service 就 average only, order 果陣就好快, 但之後叫左 2 次埋單都好似無人理咁 Total price: HK$160+10% s.c.Overall, worth trying ar!!

This is easily the worst high tea set I've had in the Soho district. THE worst. Portobellos' $160 + 10% Tea set So they give you 4 quarters of a lettuce, turkey/ham and tomato sandwich, 2 scones, 2 slices of whatever cake they want to give you (Mocha cheesecake in our case), cream, 2 small sachets of jam, what else....oh yes, and 2 drinks. 係附近同人地食完tea (壽司)....要等夜晚上堂...仲有個幾鐘頭時間...走左黎依到坐下!本來想叫個tea set食下，知道個tea set有crepe食加杯野飲的...不過頭先真係有點飽，都係只好等下一次啦。只係叫左一杯Caffe Latte飲，因為我都好眼訓下...(但其實無咩幫助..哈)依間野幾有英式style! Portobello的確係英國一個地方黎的..雖然未去過，但都知道下。諗住杯Latte應該會整Latte art啦..點知黎到...係無的，只係好simple咁沖一杯野飲出黎，不過D泡有點厚，但飲落去都唔差。店入面雖然細細地，但裝修都OK，如果同朋友傾計都唔錯，有一半都係外國人。自己一個人坐係到睇書，聽住D音樂...都OK relax!下次等肚餓一點再黎試佢D野食啦..哈

4月1日（星期四）晚，女友收工後，我倆圍繞著蘇豪區一帶逛，因為晚一點有特別節目，我們商量過後想早些吃晚飯，但不約而同地我們也因為中午吃得飽而沒胃口。行了幾個圈，素知女友來甜吃，所以我就決定帶女友來這裡，既可坐下飲杯野休息一下，又可以食件餅或其他，一舉兩得。我點了杯Regular coffee，女友就要杯Hot Chocolate，再點了一件Sacher Chocolate cake。自問對咖啡的研究不多，而我對咖啡的要求也不是很高，這裡的Regular coffee也總算貴得有道理。雖然沒有深究是用甚麼咖啡豆，但咖啡味香濃，入口亦算順滑，咖啡味醇厚，可惜煙勳味同樣很重，影響了整體的味道，要下不少的黃糖和奶去中和這種味道；女友的Hot Chocolate也很好，味道柔和；Sacher Chocolate cake是一款混合杏桃的朱古力蛋糕，朱古力不甜而帶點苦，味道卻很濃郁，口感亦細致綿密，女友當然很喜愛，一個人差不多吃了大半件蛋糕。因為祇有兩檯客，坐在這裡感覺很舒適寧靜，和對面的人山人海、熱鬧嘈吵的酒吧形成很強烈的對比。

Portobello was one of the rare restaurants / cafes that still had a table on a Friday at Soho during lunch time. However, despite the availability of free tables, the food was still good. 朋友有事不吐不快，要出來邊喝邊呻，但要一個地方可以靜靜地聽著音樂讓我聽其細說，這處正是個好選擇。八時許吃完gelato上到來，只有小貓三隻，由門口一直行入去，梳化位燈光暗暗綠葉輕垂正合我倆躲起來自閉，就坐下來了。叫了兩枝喜力，待雪糕"落膈"了，再心思思出去揀cake再滿足一下甜牙齒。餅櫃內的選擇頗多，但害怕chocolate類太滯 carrot cake太甜、mocha cheesecake看著也膩、New York cheesecake數天前吃過、apple tart與香蕉拖肥則從來都不是本人杯茶，結果就選了一件praline cheesecake兩人share，加一杯hot chocolate；朋友則要一杯咖啡。比起日前在MxCafe所吃的Platinum Cheesecake，這件praline cheesecake實在很不滯：一切下去就散晒，大粒小粒的跌在碟上 ，吃下去不軟滑感覺不新鮮；味道不差，但奶味很重，非本人所好。最可取是餅底，混著果仁（合桃），口感很好。Size比MxCafe的大，但價錢是double，唔抵。Hot chocolate （topped with foa

在SOHO吃完晚飯, 友人知道我喜歡甜點, 特別是芝士餅, 所以便介紹我在這裡吃~這裡是自助形式, 在櫥櫃點了CHEESECAKE, 便在counter 買了, 拿了便在店舖入面找個位坐~芝士餅款式都是平時那五六款--這天有NEW YORK CHEESECAKE, MARBLE CHEESECAKE, BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE, STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE, 和CHOCOLATE CAKE買了一件blueberry cheesecake, 便在店內的角位找了一個sofa卡位坐下午九時左右, 這裡人不太多, 只有另外兩檯的外國食客, 飲咖啡坐談天。夜晚的soho, 除了酒吧的嘈吵, 這裡真是一個好地方讓三五知己飯後靜靜相談, 或是情侶在這裡拍拖! blueberry cheesecake-- 很濃烈的芝士味, 比起平時經常吃的starbucks blueberry cheesecake, 這裡的不是放上原粒blueberry, 而是blueberry sauce入面有粒粒的blueberries, 吃下去不會太乾, 而芝士味比starbucks強, 所以芝

I was drawn to this cafe by its name "Portobello", a popular street market in Nottinghill London.The restaurant name sign just brought me back to London, the name Portobello in white background within a black border. 跟在高高在上的地方工作的朋友午飯, 取其中間點的士丹頓街, 瞥見此店的名字用上本人最喜歡吃的食物, 決定不作他選。走到店子最盡頭的天井位, 有淡淡陽光又不致太"露天", 最適合我此等喜歡"假自然"的女士。 可能我英文不夠好, 外籍侍應所介紹的set lunch, soup of the day 及pasta of the day, 我是一道都聽不出是什麼。 唯有硬著頭皮, 要了一人一個set lunch, 主菜選了caesar salad及tandoori chicken sandwich 。是日餐湯為忌廉湯加bacon碎, 湯本身很rich, 很厚, 很漏, 猶幸店子細心體貼, 份量約十口, 是剛好。 我的caesar salad的沙律醬拌得很均勻, 對我來說, 最重視吃沙律時每口醬都剛好掛到菜上, 此店是及格的。 沙律醬以caesar salad而言也不太rich, 不太杰, 芝士一片片也夠香夠好吃, 可惜預先切好的羅馬生菜霉了一點, 切口位都發黃了。 總括而言, 味道是過得去, 但尚有改善空間。 朋友的tandoori chicken sandwich 賣相不錯, 我吃了一件雞,

兩個女仔本想去soho食晚飯+甜品，後來索性只食甜品當晚餐。其實每次經過看見門口擺滿了蛋榚頗吸引，一直沒有機會，難得今次有人陪我一起試。餐牌上甜品只有蛋糕一類，雖也有三文治、漢堡、意粉等鹹食，不過餐廳格局完全似一間happy hr的cafe，大家也敢冒險，只叫蛋糕算了。芒果及雲呢拿奶昔-呷一口後沒有奶及雪糕感覺，完全不似奶製品，也沒有smoothie的軟滑，是一杯疑似沙冰的物體。而味道不夠真實，芒果味不夠鮮，明顯是用人造果汁而成的。Lemon tart-不夠酸甜清新，檸檬味不夠突出；可取的事牛油撻底混入了杏仁粉，故夠香脆。Mocha cheesecake-咖啡及芝士兩者味道也不達，質地又不夠細滑。最好食是另加$10的雪榚，來沾伴碟的朱古力醬。這裡的蛋榚比Pacific cafe及Starbucks的連鎖店還要差，吃完一餐不好味的甜品，大家雖然飽飽滯滯，最後去南記食了碗酸辣米線，來填滿肚的位置。

都不知是第幾次去了每次都愛坐最靠門口的sofa上星期六下午三四點 叫了個$70的tea set, 有塊蛋糕與house coffee靜, 沒車, 人聲少, 即使滿客也不覺吵.十分的享受呢.
