其實去酒店消費,錢唔係問題,但係你要比返高質素嘅嘢客人先得,而這家居酒屋好明顯仲有好多方面需要進步...首先講環境,酒店裝修唔會差得去邊。服務就還可以啦,個sommelier係nice的,server就行動比較慢,叫左水好耐都冇上檯,唔知係咪因為太忙,另外有食物漏左單,Manager都有過來講聲唔好意思。食物質素,同九龍區嘅居酒屋差唔多,冇一樣嘢有驚喜,大家如果係為左食野,建議都係去返其他地方,這裡飲嘢OK。酒水方面,我朋友不飲酒,我就叫左2杯紅酒,好少地方有日本紅酒,這裡有的,都唔錯。

食物質素,同九龍區嘅居酒屋差唔多,冇一樣嘢有驚喜,大家如果係為左食野,建議都係去返其他地方,這裡飲嘢OK。

酒水方面,我朋友不飲酒,我就叫左2杯紅酒,好少地方有日本紅酒,這裡有的,都唔錯。

Booked 1.5 months in advance, we came for a lunch on a Saturday in hopes to try some nice Japanese fusion cuisine. We ordered a bunch of food to share:

Food was OK, but nothing remarkable. 
As expected, portions were very small.  There were only 3 pieces for the tempura dish. 
The Fatty tuna maki and Lobster & Hokkaido uni fried rice were underwhelming at that price. 

Generally speaking, it was expensive and overrated.


The only item surprised me was their dessert.  Their White Miso Soufflé was delicious with very special and well-balanced flavors. 
 Something very unique you could only find here. The only thing I would come back for. 



Lunch for 2 people (with 2 cocktails) was : HK$ 2,340.


Overall, if you want to check out the beautiful decor and ambience here, I would recommend to come for drinks only.
Try one of their signature or seasonal cocktails 🍸 They were pretty tasty. 

Take your dinner somewhere else.

居酒屋來講佢嘅Menu選擇少,壽司魚生天婦羅爐端燒都係得幾款,個Menu字體好細,就算20/20視力都有點吃力,仲有好多用英文拼音嘅日文字,幾難睇得明究竟係啲咩嚟,不過幫我哋點菜嗰個服務員都幫我我哋逐一解答到。
點左兩個starter,一個Maki,兩個Robata,食完冇感覺,所有點嘅菜式其實原材料非常重要,但係食落去感受唔到突出之處,味道一般,Seaweed Salad好濕,dressing太多,豆腐嘅粉好厚,有啲食落去仲膠膠哋,Tuna Maki求其喺Donki買盒都好食過佢,幾條奀挑鬼命嘅燒蘆筍點完隻溫泉蛋,覺得有啲嘥,所以用匙羹食埋啲蛋汁😆,燒和牛,要medium rare,不過似medium多啲,仲幾dry,所有嘅熱食一啲都唔熱,食物簡單唔係問題,不過要知道越簡單就越難做,咁嘅食物質素,喺外邊都唔難搵⋯⋯
最後甜品係芝麻雪糕,雪糕唔凍,但係又唔溶,好creamy,好有芝麻味,個cone好脆,不過因為唔凍,所以唔覺得食緊雪糕⋯⋯
整體服務一般,好Standard,機械化,冇特別嘅感覺。
環境雖然冇乜新意,不過係舒服嘅,除咗張凳,坐得好唔舒服⋯⋯
食完成餐飯,味蕾冇感覺,個肚冇感覺,情緒依然平淡,不值,試過就算⋯⋯

4. 客人以外國人為主,外藉經理見我哋唔係外國人,直接skip 過我哋張檯

這間叫The Aubrey的日料店位於中環文華東方酒店25樓,餐廳目前還處於試營業期間。The Aubrey與其說是日料店,不如說更像是一間英式居酒屋🏮。除了入口處的裝修有那麼一點點日本味道,整間餐廳的裝修都是英國酒吧的感覺。而且店名Aubrey也是一位英國畫家的名字。餐廳靠窗位置可以看到中環海景和摩天輪🎡。這間店的午餐已經預約到了四月底,所以我們選擇下午2:00以後去下午茶。之前聽說全天菜單都是一樣的,不知是不是因為還在試營業,我們這天去下午茶只提供Snacks and Starters部分,其他全部都不提供。本來很想試試他們的壽司和天婦羅,這下試不成了。即使是前菜小食,也有好幾道沒有。因為沒吃午餐,就盡量選了看起來能吃飽肚子的幾個小食。【A5和牛三文治🥪】這個和牛三文治真的非常非常好吃,和牛很juicy,一口咬下去,滿嘴香味。【帶子啫喱】這個比較普通,像廈門的土筍凍。【木炭雞肉】賣相不怎麼好看,黑乎乎的,真的好像木炭,但味道不錯,炸得很好,也很香。【酥脆大根伴芝麻】又是一道炸物,炸得很不錯,就是那個蘿蔔本身太硬。因為這樣只吃到前菜小食,下次還得再去吃一次正餐。

【木炭雞肉】賣相不怎麼好看,黑乎乎的,真的好像木炭,但味道不錯,炸得很好,也很香。


【酥脆大根伴芝麻】又是一道炸物,炸得很不錯,就是那個蘿蔔本身太硬。


因為這樣只吃到前菜小食,下次還得再去吃一次正餐。

Service was bad, seats were low and uncomfortable and pretty much we are like a neglected set of customers left on the own looking at the menu , wondering what to order when clearly staff who walked pass would have seen we are tying to figure out what to order?

Down to the dishes. Disappointment and we have not tried such a soggy type of lobster fried rice or $498 for a plate of simple fried tempura selections. As for the rest of the dishes we have tried - it is the same feedback from the above.

Overall, it was such a disappointing first experience coupled with a special occasion that we had to make do with a second meal elsewhere, paying $2000 for this experience is such a let down.

Note to the team of The Aubrey: Compliment to the girl (she serves us) ‘s hospitality. She is very conscientious about providing good service, she is super attentive, prompt, and friendly like she explains all over the menu and takes us some wine tasting, and we are satisfied with this experience.

Well, talk about food here. Start with two choices of oysters from French and Japan. I particularly like the one - Iwate, which is plump and flavourful. Secondly, we had an omakase platter, it's good but I expect it would taste better as we know the chef Tomiyama and his team are popular and specialize in traditional Edomae sushi-making techniques. Looking forward to excellent sushi for a future time as the team should be doing a better job on it!

🤍🔖 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗮𝘆: Definity the Hottest dining place these days and I recommend going on the earliest dinner session for the stunning sunset. Heard one of my friends say they are fully booked for the weekend for next month lol.
