From the moment I walked into the refined yet warm-toned dining room at #AuntieĀYI inside #hkpacificplace, I was transported with a sense of familiarity and comfort.

The Prawn Toast with Caviar and Perilla Leaf 🥟 were ultra creamy from the lush caviar 🥚, balanced by refreshing Perilla Leaf 🍃. Bite after bite had me craving more of their buttery perfection.

Slow braised for tender tenderness, the Braised Whole Goose Claypot 🐓 fell off the bone with its savory sauce. I couldn’t get enough of this homestyle classic cooked with ❤️ by Auntie ĀYI.

Next, we savored the comforting warmth of Sister Song’s Shredded Fish Broth and Pork Lung and Pork Shank Meat with Almond Soup, both rich in flavor and nostalgia. The addition of the latter tender pork lung and shank meat in a creamy almond soup brought a delightful richness, making it a true homage to traditional craftsmanship.

Our seafood experience continued with the Chilled Poached Fourfinger Threadfin delicately paired with Pu Ning bean sauce. This dish was a refreshing palate cleanser, showcasing the fish's natural sweetness.

For a heartier option, we indulged in the Braised Whole Goose Casserole. The tender meat, infused with aromatic spices, was a showstopper, embodying the essence of communal dining and shared memories.

To round off our savory dishes, we chose the Shaanxi Oil Spill Noodles topped with succulent Iberico Pork Char Siu. The rich flavors and satisfying textures made this dish a highlight, embodying the creativity of Auntie ĀYI’s kitchen.

We concluded our meal on a sweet note with Ice Cream drizzled in Caramelized Sacima and a rich Caramel Sauce. This dessert was a delightful celebration of textures and flavors, perfectly capping off our memorable evening.

Went here with friends for a quick lunch catch up. We each chose a set lunch (dim sum starter + main) and selected a tea (because you get a 25$ tea charge either way). The Har Gau skin was of average consistency and the prawn itself didn’t have any counter balance such a as sesame oil to its own fishy flavour. The spicy and sour fish soup was alright but not blown off my feet. Portion of fish was generous.

One of us chose noodles over rice. It came immediately and by the time the mains arrived it got quite soft and soggy, you weren’t eating noodles but lumps of noddles stuck together.

Rose oolong tea weirdly had a sour taste at the end of the meal. We each paid 263$ which I found grossly over charged.

I only recommend this place if you’re not paying or need a nice place to sit and don’t mind the price tag for average food.

We started with the Sesame Chicken ‘Lo Hei’, which featured juicy, tender meat paired with a rich sesame sauce that kept us coming back for more. Next, we enjoyed the Spotted Garoupa in Fish Broth, where the crispy rice added a delightful crunch to the flavorful broth.

The Braised Pumpkin with Crab Meat and Chinese Pearl Barley was a standout, combining creamy pumpkin with succulent crab meat for a comforting dish that warmed our souls. We also savored the Double-boiled Chicken and Morel Mushroom Soup, which was fragrant and earthy, with tender chicken that made it perfect for sharing.

Another highlight was the Sister Song’s Shredded Fish Broth, offering a unique and refreshing taste that truly invigorated our palates. The Claypot Rice with Satay Beef and Molten Egg Yolk infused the rice with aromatic satay flavors, making every bite a delight.

Finally, we finished with the Hong Kong Style Egg Waffles with Ice Cream. This dessert was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, perfectly paired with creamy ice cream and Black Sesame dip for a sweet ending.
