朋友介紹下去左呢間放工食飯,佢話呢間水準好高,由酒店大廚主理,佢話我一定會滿意,有好野食我梗跟去~~去到嗰時岩岩有人包場完場散band,好彩無白行~ 見到貼喺餐廳內外既雜誌報章介紹令我更期待~我地各人叫左一個Steak Set~包晒前菜、湯、扒、茶/咖啡~首先嚟餐包~配埋成樽仔蘿勒醬比你~好味又大方。麵包香脆新鮮。湯-我選擇左「經典蜆肉雜燴濃湯」,十分香濃,湯中有麵包粒、大量蜆肉&洋蔥粒!前菜-我選擇左「嫩煎吞拿魚沙律」主菜- 日本活性水飼育豬架 10oz 為左保持肉質鮮嫩所以煮到7成熟,切開可見肉質鮮嫩,入口溶化,每口都有肉汁,而且稔身容易咀嚼;碟上既洋蔥係另一佳作,慢火燒左45分鐘而成,好香好稔!整個主菜都十分出色!餐飲- 我點左「苦青檸」,第一次飲,原來係粉紅色樽裝飲品!味道似有汽水柚子汁。甜品- 散叫「Green Apple Sobert」價錢略貴,但入口有驚喜,sobert充滿清甜青蘋果味,而且勻合鮮青蘋果蓉,十分出色。

價錢略貴,但入口有驚喜,sobert充滿清甜青蘋果味,而且勻合鮮青蘋果蓉,十分出色。

點餐後,店員先為我倆送上麵包,帶著微暖的法包,表層香脆,中間仍然柔軟,食落不太乾,塗上帶蒜香的牛油和以新鮮 Basil 自家製的香草醬吃,滋味一流。而老公就盛讚那一小瓶香草醬,入口帶陣陣羅勒清香,味道宜人,用來伴意粉吃亦非常適合。

先來兩款前菜,分別是嫩煎吞拿魚沙律和君道果凍鴨肉批。已切成片狀的吞拿魚塊,肉味雖然不算濃,但肉質非常嫩滑,而且四邊都沾滿黑白芝麻,賣相挺美。立即一試,入口除了充滿吞拿魚的鮮甜外,食落更帶陣陣芝麻的香氣,配沙律菜吃,味道清新,Perfect!

至於君道果凍鴨肉批,原來據說底層的鴨肉批,用料非常講究,選用了野生法國鴨肉和少量鴨肝製作;而面頭的 Cointreau Jelly 則是以香橙加砵酒熬煮後雪凍而成。鴨肉批口感唔錯,幾特別,平時食雞批、牛肉批,總有批皮包裹餡料,不過這款鴨肉批唔單止沒有批皮,而且色澤粉嫩,肉質幼滑,配上頂頭帶淡淡橙香味的果凍吃,入口清甜,是一道唔錯的手工菜式。

接著登場的是兩款餐湯,分別有經典蜆肉雜燴濃湯傳統焗法式洋蔥湯 (+$30),前者蜆肉雜燴湯,用料非常豐富,除咗主角蜆肉外,大廚還在湯內覺加入了不少煙肉碎、洋蔥、蘑菇、烘過的麵包粒等。搶先呷了一口,口感濃稠  Creamy,味道的確不俗,建議可以再加點薯仔粒及紅蘿蔔粒,用來吸收蜆肉的鮮味,相信食味會更佳。至於另一款招牌作,焗法式洋蔥湯,成品用上傳統方法炮製,面頭鋪上厚厚芝士,單看賣相已覺吸引。二話不說,立即把材料拌勻嘗了一口,洋蔥味非常突出,而且下得很慷慨,入口香濃味美,加上浸泡在湯內的麵包食到尾依然香脆,水準果然不俗,推介洋蔥迷一試。

來到主菜環節,先吃美國頂級紐約客牛扒 ($450),主角牛扒以木砧板盛上,Size 雖然談不上超級巨形,但亦相當有份量,足有 10  安士重,而且端上桌時見面層不但燒成格紋,形狀更長而厚身,香味濃郁,非常誘人。火速切開一試,肉質果然外熟內嫩,而且肉汁充盈,尤其是經炭火烤製後,肉扒的脂肪已被完全逼出,所以吃起來油份不多、口感實在,配連皮的粗身薯條吃,濃惹甘香。另外店裡的牛扒,每客都會附上一小兜自家製的三椒汁,原來據說這款醬汁是用上黑椒、紅椒和黃椒炮製而成,味道帶點辛香,不過建議各位先食原汁原味的牛扒,再試蘸點少許醬汁品嘗,以免蓋過牛扒的原味。

至於另一客日本活性水飼育豬架 ($400),豬架同樣以一塊木砧板盛載,賣相骨子,而且放上檯時,見豬架的外形既大塊又厚肉,加上點套餐仲可以減 $50,感覺幾抵食。先切開一看,肉色粉嫩,不會有太多肥膏,而且師傅在火候上控制得唔錯,將豬架燒至半生熟,所以吃起來不但肉質爽脆,肉味亦分外鮮濃,加上不帶半點豬腥味,令人食欲大增,實在值得一讚!服務員更特別向我倆推介碟上以慢火烤過的蒜頭,說一定要連著肉扒吃,一試,味道既濃郁又辛香,果然超正!

吃完咁多肉食,當然要點客甜品一清味蕾,選了菠蘿雪芭 ($68) 和原個椰子雪糕 ($55) 各一,前者雪芭以原個生果做,外形小巧可愛,賣相吸引,而且雪芭非常冰凍,入口清甜芳香,加上內裡仲連著小小果肉,十分過癮,吃罷感覺特別 Refresh!至於椰子雪糕,啖落不但帶濃濃的椰子香氣,而且質感幼滑,真的讓人忍不住一口接一口。

餐茶方面,本來打算揀凍咖啡、凍檸茶,店員提議我倆不如改點餐廳的熱飲洛神花茶,唔單止可降血脂、增加皮膚紅潤,而且可以解膩消滯,飯後飲用就最適合不過了。由於這晚人丁單薄,未能一嘗重量級斧頭牛扒,下次一於班齊人馬再訪。

豬架配了六成熟,下面鋪著薯塊,配上烤蒜頭伴碟。用上針板上菜,別有一番風味。豬架肉質鮮嫩,切開充滿肉汁,不用淋上醬汁已經很好味。搽上牛油烤過既原個蒜頭變得香軟可口,味道甘甜,有別於平時。

因為今日放工遲咗最後同同事去咗附近一間法式餐廳食叫咗佢哋一個set dinner首先前菜係君道果凍鴨肉批呢個鴨肉係用上鴨肉同埋食得出有鴨肝所以味道非常之濃郁每一啖都滲透着濃濃的鴨香味而且上邊果浸君道原來係用上君道橙酒煮成的啫喱所以酸酸甜甜令到成個菜好Flesh成個前菜十分之開胃將鴨肉派再加上橙酒啫喱沾上麵包上令我回味致今之後就加$30要左佢哋一款傳統焗法式洋蔥湯湯味道非常之濃郁而且用上傳統的方法入面真係用晒三種芝士同埋成個完整洋蔥再配上V.S.O.P.的獨特酒香味估唔到又幾好飲原來其他簡化版嘅洋蔥湯同傳統嘅係差咁遠睇來以後都係要飲返傳統版到咗主菜叫咗頂級日本活性水飼育豬架因為係頂級日本豬所以唔使完全全熟咁上所以就叫左七成熟因為七成熟就係會保持到肉汁而唔會令到肉味失去一切開入面保持嫰滑粉紅而且日本豬肉味非常之濃郁而肉質爽口彈牙而配菜的薯角亦都不可以忽視因為配合埋個汁令到個薯角好好食餐茶方面叫咗一杯四季花花茶原本以為花茶都係平平淡淡咁又花茶香係呢杯就竟然唔同因為佢飲到最後係會飲到有少少酸甜味老實講飲下飲下就好似飲緊檸檬茶咁酸酸甜甜十分之好飲而且又化解到油膩感

As we know that there are just potato wedges that come along with pork chop, we ordered a dish of fries which is among the menu of happy hour snacks, though at the same time, we enjoyed our pre-meal bread! Fries of course tasted more alluring than bread, but the tailor-made pesto sauce was truly a refresher to the decadent fries.

We didn't choose steak but this pork chop to try as recommended by the manager. It tastes sweet while keeping the interior light pink as it wasn't 100% done - only special kind of pork can be cooked like this. This kind of pork chop can't be easily found elsewhere, so $280, given its fine-enough portion, is a good deal already.
I bet most people came for steak (as what I observed) and this may be the factor why I will probably come next time!

凍檸茶地位不動搖,仍是點上它。

小店子做出高水準, 經常掛嘴邊的說多試多訓練舌頭, 一吃就知道龍與鳳了。

而服務很貼心, 會留意到用膳進店, 差不多吃畢才通知廚房出下一道料理,

顧客吃到的必是剛弄好, 溫度也是熱辣辣。

There are pasta set and steak set available but I have chosen the latter one once I am kind of a meat lover. The set comes with appetizer, soup, steak, and coffee/tea.

A board of bread is then served. Two types of bread is on the board, one is baguette while another should be rye bread, served with their housemade pesto and seasoned soft butter in funny shape. A classic light appetizer to enjoy but they have also added slices of very ripe creamy avocado, along with some mixed green salad, mozzarella cheese, and sweet & juicy Australian tomatoes. The creaminess from the avocado perfectly balanced with the milky soft mozzarella cheese and the sweet tomato slices. The refreshing dish is no doubt appetizing, marking a great start of a hearty steak dinner.

The classic clam chowder

A traditional English soup made with celery, leek, potato, clams, and of course some cream. After taking the first sip, the creaminess is over the top with an aromatic seafood taste from the clam, yet not too creamy until hard to drink. The thick soup is cloudy and full of fresh ingredients. I also liked the fact they didn’t overload the soup with potatoes otherwise it is going to be too powdery and too filling before we move on to our main course.

Japan Yamato pork rack 10oz
Though steak is the signature dish of the restaurant, their pork is actually their hidden talent! The Japanese pig was fed with good water and food. It was sous vide, and char grilled with roasted whole garlic, wedges, and 3 peppercorn sauce.

We were recommended to enjoy it with only medium well doneness but I personally would prefer a little bit rarer, maybe around medium rare! So, I guess I will have to come back again next time! Anyhow, the grilled garlic is just as good as it can get, the soft garlic was super flavourful and it acted like an active agent, boosting the flavor of the pork itself!

Lastly, we tried their refreshing fruity sorbet as dessert. They have coconut ice cream, as well as green apple, pineapple, and mango sorbet.
Their mango sorbet is not sweet at all which I really enjoyed. The sorbet was full of slightly sweet and tangy mango flavor. I also scrapped out the mango flesh after finishing all the sorbet in the shell! Yum!!!

I always like to have a nice cup of espresso after a meal. I would have to say that they do serve very good coffee with a good balanced bitterness and char flavor kind of aroma. Espresso is also a good way to help digestion and I always drink that after my dinner because I always have to work till very very late at night !

以蝦膏煮成湯再加蕃茄成為濃汁。意粉保留Al dente 是店主的原則,所以意粉有咬口亦掛汁。紅蝦並非爽身蝦
種,但那鮮香則無從置疑。味道也如店主所說較重口味,建議和朋友開心share 。

雖然話女人有等二個胃食甜品,但我們實在飽到不行。

只能以雪芭清下味蕾減下膩

This little restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside and I was wary of trying the food, but I can say that the quality of the beef dish blew me out of the water. It was so tender, juicy, soft and full of marinated deliciousness. I just couldn't believe it. I don't know if I have ever had something that good in my life. The service was very good because the slow cooked egg on the salad was not to my liking and they took it back and cooked it the way I liked it. The salad was fresh and good, but I though the portion could have been bigger. I was also disappointed at the small glass of iced lemon tea. Also, the wait for the food seemed like ages, but I can say the juicy beef was so good that I was so happy and satisfied when I left.
