Japan Yamato Pork Steak 10oz (單叫$280) 日本活性水飼育豬架 - 我好少食豬(除左黑毛豬之外),但呢款活性水飼育豬實在太特別,因為最多只可以煮到7成熟,如果唔係會保持唔到肉質既嫩度。 食牛7成煮就成日食到,豬就真係第一次,完全唔擔心,儘管試下~~

果然無令我失望!肉質鮮嫩呈粉紅色,唔會血淋淋,脂肪比例岩岩好,入口好有肉汁同夠稔~肉味唔會好濃,所以可以點醬食~但我夠喜歡本身既味道所以無點醬,反而連洋蔥食~~~~

不得不提碟上既洋蔥,真係好好食,差d miss左! 洋蔥燒左45mins而成,好香好稔!一粒配一口豬肉食真係無得彈~~

談到扒房,立即浮上腦海的總是那數間聞名遐邇的餐廳,無可否認食物質素大都可以保持四平八穩,總不至會令人失望而回;但是要發掘到意外驚喜,以及體會到製作食物的用心,似乎還是小店更為適合。位於鰂魚涌的Bake N Grill毗鄰地鐵站,但是低調的門面其實還是不易發現。店內環境雖小,分為室內室外兩個區域。入夜後室外更會點起燭光,更添風味。餐牌食物選擇不算多,頭盤、意粉、扒類、湯品分別都只各有三款,貴精不貴多,但是啤酒款式卻反而不勝枚舉,多得使人眼花繚亂呢!晚市套餐包括麵包、湯品、頭盤及主菜,價格較單點相宜,於是便選擇了以美國頂級肋眼牛排為主菜的扒餐($450+10%),另外將餐湯升級至傳統焗法式洋蔥湯(+$30)。自家製的麵包烘得外脆內軟,更加非同凡響的其實正是旁邊看似平平無奇的牛油和Pesto,兩款都是店方親自調配而成的。牛油非常軟滑,Pesto更加層次豐富,帶香濃蒜味,而且不覺油膩,絕對令人可以吃下更多更多的麵包。 君度果凍鴨肉批 ($80+10%)精緻的鴨肉批上鋪上一層薄薄的橙酒啫喱。鴨肉批質感有點像吞拿魚沙律,軟綿之餘帶有一絲一絲鴨肉,與香脆的麵包同吃就跟鵝肝醬多士如出一轍,鴨味非常濃

用餐的時候看到老闆娘與鄰座數位熟客談笑風生,不斷交流飲食心得,而老闆娘更不時友善地向我推薦及介紹餐點,店員亦十分殷勤有禮,每次將餐點奉上時都會用心地介紹做法及材料,以至最佳品嚐方法,這大概是再出色再著名的扒房都無可比擬的,不求大排長龍,不求大肆報導,專心致志地做好每一份食物,真心真意地對待每一位顧客,難怪雖然客人不多,但仍然擁有一眾知心捧場客。

或者,環境的大小局限了餐廳的擺設裝潢,卻局限不了餐廳的熱誠,更局限不了食物的美味。

是日餐湯是青豆薯蓉湯,筆者對青豆向來興趣不濃,本來只打算試一口,但沒想到原來味道不俗,入口草青味不濃,而且由於廚師在湯內加入了薯蓉,所以口感好 Creamy。至於華都夫沙律,雖然沙律入面沒加進合桃和提子乾,只是簡單地以蘋果和雞肉為主,但沙律吃起來酸爽清新,為悶熱天氣打開胃口。

主菜方面,先來一客香煎三文魚配芒果莎莎醬 ($88),三文魚向來都是筆者的至愛,更何況這客三文魚不但擺碟精美,而且廚師將三文魚以慢火香煎至半熟,魚皮金黃脆口、而魚肉放入口中即似棉花般散開,食落完全不覺油膩,配上飽肚的紅米飯和酸甜美味的芒果莎莎醬吃,格外開胃。

至於另一客主菜,本來想點低溫慢煮牛肩胛,可惜這天缺貨,店員推介我倆不如試試店裡的香烤西冷 ($108)。西冷扒點了 6 成熟,分量唔算大,Size 屬中等,入口牛味頗重,而且切開後,內裡肉汁依然豐富,可見廚師控制火候十分到家。不過西冷肉質偏韌,適合喜歡肉味濃郁兼有嚼頭的食客,但以這個價位來說,算是划算。聽店員講,原來餐廳有骨頭外露的重量級斧頭牛扒供應,據說不但牛味濃郁、而且質感腍身,不過就須要 2 天前預訂,看來要找天再和家人來一試。

細姨快將生日,平時對食有一定要求的她,一定要找間有水準的餐廳為她慶祝,免她留下不愉快的生日回憶。經多番搜查,終被我發現一間餐廳就在細姨住的附近,非常方便,因怕她老人家行得太遠。於是乎我被一眾兄弟姊妹指令前來試菜做先頭部隊,哈....我又唔介意呀!餐廳位置有點隱蔽,反而我喜歡它的寧靜。小店一間,紫色系列于人好溫暖好親切的感覺。有多款潮興手工啤,可惜我天生敏感,唯有放棄。店員有見及此,做了一杯獨一無二的cocktail比我,還即時命名為Peach Snack。賣相綠柔柔的,似身處無敵大海,有點清涼消暑感覺,最適合炎熱天氣飲用。味道酸咪咪但又不失Rum酒的香,還有桃茸,有囗感。頭盤是Cointreau Jelly Duck Meat Pate,最初我有點懷疑會不會有點羶味呢!但當端上抬時,我已放下心頭大石。末食己有信心是好味的一道菜。味道濃厚的鴨肉pate ,有著綿綿舔舔的口感,上層的啫喱配合得宜可減膩感,建議伴以法飽,沙律莱⋯⋯滋味!甘香!數款湯之中,相信洋蔥湯是自慢菜式,因為留意到餐牌上的logo,牛牛所載的帽子原來是個洋蔥頭,真係唔講唔知,好搞鬼!散發出濃濃的芝味,原來用了三款不同芝士

有多款潮興手工啤,可惜我天生敏感,唯有放棄。店員有見及此,做了一杯獨一無二的cocktail比我,還即時命名為Peach Snack。

賣相綠柔柔的,似身處無敵大海,有點清涼消暑感覺,最適合炎熱天氣飲用。味道酸咪咪但又不失Rum酒的香,還有桃茸,有囗感。

頭盤是Cointreau Jelly Duck Meat Pate,最初我有點懷疑會不會有點羶味呢!但當端上抬時,我已放下心頭大石。末食己有信心是好味的一道菜。

味道濃厚的鴨肉pate ,有著綿綿舔舔的口感,上層的啫喱配合得宜可減膩感,建議伴以法飽,沙律莱⋯⋯滋味!甘香!

數款湯之中,相信洋蔥湯是自慢菜式,因為留意到餐牌上的logo,牛牛所載的帽子原來是個洋蔥頭,真係唔講唔知,好搞鬼!

散發出濃濃的芝味,原來用了三款不同芝士,所以味道特別濃,再加上炒香了的洋蔥另整個湯增添不少分數喔!

今天不知為何突然想吃肉類,于是乎選了肉質比較軟腍的Rib Eye,只六成熟,達到我所要求。

來自美國的牛,果然牛味香濃,肉汁四淺。伴碟有半個烤過的蒜頭,當牛油似的掃在牛排上,蒜味香而不嗆喉,提升了牛味道更上一層樓。

Apart from beer, the bar also serves cocktails! What kind of cocktails? It is entirely up to you. You can basically get what you want based on your preferred taste, liquor, flavour, or colour. The well-stocked bar has got you covered! For me, I got a refreshing cocktail with a hint of lychee flavour. The hinty lime taste was just perfect for this hot summer time.

After a couple of drinks, we have started to get hungry and I guess it's time to have dinner! We were first served with some bread which had a mixed of white baguette and brown rye bread. The bread is specially selected with a fresh taste. It was still very crispy and just slightly warmed when it was served. The fresh house prepared pate was really soft and moist. I could instantly tell that it was not from canned or store-bought. The duck meat was nicely seasoned to just the right savouriness. The gaminess from the duck complimented nicely with the refreshing jelly and the watercress on top. The aged balsamic vinegar gave a nice sourness to balance with the meatiness. 

Besides, the serving size was quite generous for this appetizer and it was such an elegant way to start a cheerful meal.

I was told that 2 whole sweet onions were used and some wine and sherry wine were also used to sweet things up. Indeed, the soup was naturally sweet with lots of nicely softened onion. 

In short, the cheese was on point, the sweetness from the onion was on point, the light alcoholic taste and the peppery taste was on point. Can you believe you can enjoy this quality of food in a small street in Quarry Bay?

Chef would help you cup the steak into pieces and you may see that each piece had a really pink centre and a very blackened char edges. The steak was also served with a grilled garlic, potatoes wedges, and some gravy made from the beef bone itself.

To finish off our long relaxing dinner, we have ordered a serving of apple sorbet. Wow! Yet, another surprise. They were right that it was a must order dish because it was just very refreshing after so much meat. 

Most important, the sorbet was not sweet at all! There were also cubes of chopped sorbet, I almost felt like I was eating a blended version of apple!

旁邊小杯的就是辣椒味既啤酒!如果只係飲辣椒味的話,舌頭都feel到辛辣!都幾重味的~但而家mix埋成枝芒果啤!就真係中和哂強烈既辣味~芒果辣椒啤聽落怪怪!但係飲落都好好飲~酒精濃度唔算高,所以都好容易入口的。

公司附近最近新開了間隱蔽西餐小店,今日同同事一齊去試食。由於一早BOOK左位,加上我地食得早,12點去到暫時無咩人,好快就坐低左。不過轉頭都好快坐滿大半間鋪。LUNCH餐牌比較簡單,有4款主菜,各配餐湯或沙律,咖啡或茶。價錢都係HK$68 - $108(食扒的話)。最得我歡心既竟然係伴湯既餐包,非常新鮮和香脆,配蒜香牛油真係無得彈,好味到ENCORE多一次。老闆娘話麵包是全無添加的,可以非常安心食用。湯每日不定期轉款,今日飲左菠菜薯仔湯,好CREAMY幼滑又唔漏,食左個煙肉蜆肉意粉都好滿意。由於無打算寫食評,所以無影相TIM,下次補返啦。

Other Info. : 店內仲有好多不同既本地手工啤酒,遲些可考慮放工同同事去HAPPY HOUR呢。 好期待去試佢晚市既精緻牛扒餐,遲些試左再在這裡匯報。
