這天人不太多,街道也很安靜,餐廳環境也很舒適。先是氣氛便已經令人感覺放鬆了很多。

和朋友各自選了一個set lunch。
set lunch包括了starter, main course, drinks。
加$30還可以有一個是日甜品,不過胃口不算很大的我們,便打消了點甜品的念頭。

starter有餐湯和餐包和一款吃的(選其中一款),我選了seared tuna
餐包一個是original的,另一個則是竹炭的,不過吃下去比較乾身,未見特別。

是日餐湯方面是蟹肉南瓜湯,這個湯很可口,口感很creamy。
而且内裏的蟹肉份量也尚算慷慨,南瓜的清甜和蟹肉的鮮甜搭配得天衣無縫。

Seared tuna是一個較爲特別的starter,吞拿魚處於半熟的狀態。外表有稍微煎過,而内裏則保持著生的狀態,也有用香草調味腌過,非常特別。因爲是半熟的情況,所以口感較爲有咬口,但還是不錯。

這款主菜除了鯛魚柳外還有蜆作伴碟。
醬汁很creamy,也吸收了蜆和鯛魚的精華,非常鮮美。
鯛魚柳也有相當的厚度,魚的肉質也頗爲嫩滑,但卻略嫌魚的鮮味不太突出,味道較淡。
不過跟主菜的薯蓉卻很好吃。薯蓉打得非常軟滑,而且極富牛油香。雖然非常清楚一定是牛油分量下得很重,但還是忍不了口。

最後飲品方面點了一杯凍檸檬茶,當是幫助消化一下這頓豐富的午餐。

食物質素而言,實屬中上質素,而且環境很舒適,是個和朋友吃飯聊天的好地方。
好吧,和朋友聚一聚,吃一頓美好的過後,還是繼續回到我那忙忙碌碌的生活節奏吧。

Knowing this restaurant has the highest ranking among all in Soho, I brought my girlfriend there and had a try. Arrived at around 9pm, we ordered two set dinner and chose different dishes so that we can share with each other. The most appealing dishes are the starters. 凱撒沙律遇上鯷魚、parmesan芝士及溏心蛋,配搭新穎。羅馬生菜一塊塊放在碟上,不切碎易於分配,而上面parmesan芝士、煙肉條給單調的生菜調味,至於anchovy帶有咸味,味道特別。溏心蛋可說是整碟菜的精髓, 烹調時間剛好,橙紅色的蛋黃相當誘人,嚐下去很軟滑帶點黏,香濃蛋味。

白朱古力慕絲蛋糕口感幼滑,雖然用上白朱古力,但因為入面夾了一層酸酸的雜莓醬,所以不會太甜太膩,餅乾底做得亦夠濕潤,富牛油味香。外層鮮艷的糖皮做得亦夠薄身,所以完全沒有一般糖霜過甜的毛病。整個甜品做得非常精緻美味,我倆都十分滿意。

牛扒份量絕對不能小覷,而且頗厚。牛扒脂肪比例不算均勻,而且油脂挺多。牛味頗重,黑椒醬味調味適中;咬下去十分juicy,肉汁還會流出來呢!牛扒五成熟,表面煎得香脆,內裡帶粉嫩,肉質軟熟嫩滑。

來到Soho區,總不能不吃上一頓西餐吧。今天則相約了友人在這一間西餐廳相聚,在午餐時間之中忙裡偷閒。食物的選擇不算多,但燒豬扒總是最能夠吸引我的。先來了餐包和餐湯。湯是番茄湯。用上了新鮮番茄煮成的湯水,少了一份茄醬茄膏煮成的加成味道,酸酸甜甜更是開胃。入面還有許多不同的蔬菜,口感上也豐富了。餐包烘得熱辣辣,牛油也可以立刻熔掉。牛油味道香,麵包軟淋而且熱辣辣,十分吸引。到了主菜,是烤豬扒。外面煎得香脆,而入面卻能夠依然保持嫩滑。雖然說豬扒是全熟的,但完全不覺得太實太硬。薯蓉十分的滑,吃不到一絲的粉狀,可是如果能夠加入一點點的薯粒增加口感就更是完美了。

雖然要令外加錢, 不過帶子與翡翠螺的份量不少。有趣的是賣相不知怎地選擇了「禾桿蓋珍珠」型, 以滿滿的沙律把帶子及螺肉藏起來, 讓我們驚疑了好幾秒。沙律的醬汁偏酸, 又有重重的橙香。開胃是一流的, 但可能不是人人都愛的味道呢。

同事怕膩, 揀個蟹肉扁意粉, 想來會是個清淡之選, 不過成品卻和預期之中不一樣。此意粉乃以白汁為基底, 雖然是creamy 但多吃幾口終究會覺得膩。蟹肉不少, 但阿拉斯加蟹的鮮味本來就不算強, 在如此重身的醬汁之下, 更顯得無味。除非是愛吃忌廉汁之人, 否則就一味, 個人是不推薦的。

那, 要吃甚麼呢? 絕對、絕對要吃豬扒。天啊, 很久沒有見過如此大、又厚身的豬扒了。上個月在The Envoy 所吃的那件已經令我驚喜, 但這塊, 是有過之而無不及呢。更好的是, 它的烹調方式更是簡單直接 - 烤熟了, 配上燒汁, 薯蓉就成, 多樸實! 厚度有一吋以上, 面積比我的面還要大 (我有信心!), 表面亮晶晶的又有肉汁緩緩流下, 光看都雙眼發光啦。

豬扒已經煮至全熟, 但大部分的肉質都是彈牙有肉汁, 做得非常好吃。偶有部分肉有少許乾柴, 但以煮至全熟的豬扒來說, 已經不差。更別說薯蓉都做得極香, 這一份, 絕對值得專程來吃。

XO and I looked at the menu and inquired about the daily soup and daily special.  The daily soup was cream of mushroom soup, and the daily special was a slow-cooked beef cheek.  Both of them sounded good to me, so I ordered the daily specials.

Once we placed our orders, a bread basket was served.  Since XO is allergic to wheat, he had the white roll, and I had the wheat one.

Daily Soup--Cream of Mushroom Soup: The soup was quite thick and creamy and had a pretty strong mushroom flavor.  The soup is the completely blended type, and I prefer my mushroom soup to have actual slices of mushroom in it, but I think the blended type has become more popular in recent years.

Daily Special--Slow-cooked Beef Cheek:  The beef cheek was perfectly tender and infused with the sauce.  It was so tender I didn't even have to use a knife to break it apart.   The sauce was very flavorful, which made the dish taste like hours and hours of labor was spent on it!  The mashed potatoes were very creamy without being too heavy.  The dish was such a flavor bomb already that the cheese on top wasn't really necessary!

Pear Tart: The tart shell wasn't very crunchy, but passable since the tart is topped with a big slice of pear where the juices could have made it very soggy.  The custard was pretty smooth, and the pear was a little soft and had just the right amount of sweetness!  A pretty good dessert for a set lunch!

XO and I were pleasantly surprised to find Bistronomique@Staunton serving such a good quality set lunch at such a good price!  My beef cheek was so good that I decided to order it to-go to bring home to my mom!

之前試過幾次groupon試餐廳,每次都失望而回,不是食材差,就是份量太少,但這次大大不同,實在喜出望外!當然,即使團購買亦不是百幾蚊價錢,每位約$400再加服務費,只是比walk in set dinner平約每位一百蚊,但即使以正價去食,仍然值得去試。set dinner 每位自選3項頭盤,湯,主菜和甜品。是晚,頭盤薄切北海道帶子,帶子鮮甜,伴以橄欖油檸檬汁,味道清新。香辣BB魷魚十分美味,魷魚柔軟多汁,一口一粒剛剛好,一碟有5,6粒。香煎鴨肝配燒菠蘿,鴨肝夠厚,煎得香可不過火,簡單配菠蘿中和油脂,略嫌菠蘿偏酸和硬,喜愛配多士多些。香草蝸牛味道偏淡,略嫌不夠咸。馬骞魚湯非常香濃,充滿海鮮鮮甜,喝到龍蝦湯頭,比我想像中不太腥,只是texture不夠滑。蟹肉南瓜湯,香甜美味,不少蟹肉在內,個人喜歡馬賽魚湯主菜澳洲和牛胸腹,肉味濃,medium rare剛剛好馬賽龍蝦海鮮煲,這個不得了! 份量大得嚇人,煲內有半隻龍嘏,bb魷魚,巨大帶子,鮮甜大蜆等。湯底充滿濃郁龍蝦味,啖啖海鮮精華,有兩人份量的湯被我們喝得一滴不剩,如此份量質素,實在驚喜!最後因為太飽只吃了兩口apple pie。即使没

每逢覺得工作壓力過大的時候我都有放自己一天假漫無目的在中環悠遊沿堅道及太平山街一帶走走看看別具特色的樓宇行攰了就到蘇豪那邊吃一頓豐富的午餐心情就自自然然的好起來這天, 一個人周圍盪揀了到 Bistronomique吃一個悠悠閒閒的個人午餐說是午餐,倒不如說是下午茶因為吃時已經差不多230pm店內的人客幾乎全都因趕上班令餐廳給得份外寧靜不用返工, 什麼都變得好味所以, 我隨意在 set lunch上手指篤一下就選了starter 及main course頭盤是凱撒沙律沙律以生菜為主, 口感爽中帶脆生菜上放了大量鹹味芝士碎而底層還有點相信是煙肉的肉條令整個法律帶有一份鹹香味道沒有細問待應今日的daily soup是什麼便加了$30點了餐湯濃郁應該是由蔬果煮成而湯內加入了煙肉碎喝時蒜蓉味道突出一邊吃麵包, 一邊喝湯感覺非常完美主菜是阿拉斯加蟹肉意大利扁意粉份量不少, 味道亦相當好醬汁味道濃厚而且意粉內加了大量蟹肉及忌廉調配鮮味得來亦令口感變得份外細滑入口時幾乎每一條扁意粉都能沾上滿滿的醬汁而且扁意粉內還加了點青瓜及黃瓜粒來增加口感及層次, 好味~不想花太多錢吃午餐所以只是簡單點了杯熱檬茶便算

便加了$30點了餐湯

濃郁應該是由蔬果煮成

而湯內加入了煙肉碎

喝時蒜蓉味道突出

不想花太多錢吃午餐

所以只是簡單點了杯熱檬茶便算

不過, 喝過後, 感覺非常滿足

整個人也給得精神了

吃好的, 就了走更長的路
