西班牙菜第一樣野就係諗起火腿同tapazTapaz最好嘅地方就係可人少少都試好多唔同嘅款式。今次試呢間新嘅Tapaz店亦唔例外。呢杯sangria細細杯咁,果肉同橙皮切到細細粒咁好出味。先嚟Ponzu Oyster,口味好清新,帶少少酸甜。呢個Padron Pepper相當特別,用蒜泥炒香青椒,好香椒味,個面又有蒜嘅咸香,好味。Truffle Bikini,好性感嘅名,但當然同bikini無乜關係啦,松露配上iberico嘅多士,加埋半溶嘅芝士,無得輸啦。Hanger Beef,一份好小巧嘅牛扒,外香內軟,熟得剛好,好有牛味。兩個人點七八樣其實已經好滿足,雖然未必好飽,但食tapaz食完一味到一味,基本上食極都唔知飽,食過想食嘅款式就足夠。

A very surprising good little place!Recommended dishes a lot but just perhaps to start Bread Tomatoe first. It was like Pan Con if you like it then it won't be disappointed. One thing was, the tuna tartar in scone. It was a fabulous idea but I thought the scone was a bit of overtaken of the taste of the tuna taste.

Despite the perfectly balanced foie gras and apple puree, the smoked eel was still very prominent, delivering a pungent smoked flavour to the bite. The bread gave a perfect snap contrasting with the soft and juicy foie gras and eel. The smokiness from the eel did match beautifully with the fatty buttery foie gras, one thing I would recommend is the size of the eel, which could be slightly bigger so that I can taste it in every bite of the toastie.

I would see Chica Chico a cozy friendly place for any boys and girls to come an dhave a few drinks or a dining experience. Tapas is always a fun way to share with friends when going down a couple of drinks. The small bites are delicate and are sometimes too cute to be eaten. The restaurant uses high quality ingredients, with Chinese cooking methods infused to the recipes. Overall, it was a fun and scrumptious meal that we enjoyed a lot. We can't wait to come back again for more innovative tapas!

店主介紹吃的炸西班牙Padron Pepper,貌似皺皮尖青椒仔的它乃是產自西班牙西北地帶,入口完全是不辣的倒是有點意料之外。值得一讚是海鹽灑的份量恰到好處塗得均勻沒有出現有部位鹹到死的情況;伴吃的乃是源自著名加泰隆尼亞地區的一種混合果仁以及紅椒作底的醬汁,其味有點似像不太辣的芥茉,有些許攻鼻感覺之外且存在著堅果香,十分有趣....

原來這是在烘得外軟綿帶甜惹而底部焦脆的饅頭包內夾進了一咬底下便噴出大量肉汁,充滿肉味及香的免治和牛。更令人意想不到的是裡頭竟加入了中式的醃子薑,以此來作解膩的媒灼真箇是fusion得來又極具創意又非常美味....

平常我們嚐到的西班牙蛋餅Tortilla多是比較乾身的,但眼前的這份圓圓的,面頭塗上了店內logo的蛋餅最大特點卻是十分的juicy ---- 輕輕的用刀一切後內藏的蛋汁加上如薯仔、煙肉、芝士、紅椒及洋蔥等材料便馬上像山泥傾潟般湧了出來,入口滿是蛋香及甜味,令人幸福滿瀉....

這個seafood paella竟想到以我們廣東式的有耳傳統瓦煲來盛,小弟真的是無話可說了.... 這深具創意之物除睇得之外亦甚打得 ---- 飯粒嗦滿了海鮮的精華入口有一咲濃濃的海洋氣息,飯質亦是屬濕潤而非爛;飯芯方面是帶硬的算是正統。更特別的是飯內除了有魷魚及洋蔥粒以外還加入了切碎的豬腩肉,由此亦令飯添加了一份脂香;海鮮方面以蝦最出色,肉質雖非十分爽彈但勝在不脢之餘又充滿著鮮與甜味....

"油條"炸得外脆內綿又毫不油;灑面的糖霜又是沒吝嗇地下,事實上光吃這個已令人吃出癮頭....但及後試著醮更多的mocha醬以及伴著甘香濃郁的咖啡雪糕一同擺入口,那混和甘、甜、脆及軟的口感滋味可是令味道更上一層樓....

一頓精彩的tapas盛宴,就此便成功地打住....

另外當然少不了一杯紅酒吧;這夜來了一杯葡萄牙的紅酒,其實葡萄牙的紅酒是不錯的的,個人亦很喜歡tempranillo,那果香,厚實度,是我喜歡的味道呢;而這款來自douro的tempranillo,做得亦balance, 用來配西班牙美食最適合不過呢。

12-month serrano, chorizo, 48-month iberico

西班牙其中一樣最棒的當然是ham吧;先來一份meat platter,當中有白毛豬、chorizo和黑毛豬,三款肉之中,最喜歡的當然是黑毛豬吧,雖然不是bellota,但已經是不錯的;另外chorizo的薄度剛好,吃時不會感到太膩呢。

最愛bikini,一說到bikini,我定會想起在灣仔的西班牙餐廳,那店曾是我最愛的西班牙餐廳喔;細問之下,原本這裡的廚師是來自那店的,難怪充滿了那店的影子呢:整體的感覺不錯呢,包做得香脆,而松露味也濃郁,天天做早餐也願意喔。

最後,來了一份paella,我是飯桶,亦是paella迷;而這天,來份不一樣的paella,用了煲仔取代了paella pan,不過其實西班牙式也有不是用paella pan做的飯,可算是幾者融合了在一起吧。飯炒得頗濕潤,海鮮味濃郁,整體感覺上是不錯的;突然很想去吃煲仔飯呢。

Churros $68

最後,來一些甜吧,雖然這個甜在西班牙是早餐,但香港沒甚麼這樣子的店可以讓我們以churros做早餐,那當作是飯後甜品也不錯吧;朱古力醬味道濃郁,churros炸得也算不錯,頗香脆呢。

Meat Platter ($128)
火腿拼盤分有三種,味道由淡而濃,乾而油的分別為白毛豬火腿、辣肉腸、黑毛豬前腿。每道皆有六至八片,平均舖在木板上。白毛豬火腿即以巴馬火腿較為人知,粉色色澤薄切透亮,入口咸香豐富。辣肉腸呈圓身片狀,暗紅帶橙的辣醬,質感較韌帶有強烈嚼勁,咸香較少而帶有肉香。至於深紅竭色的黑毛豬前腿,取自48個月的黑毛豬,燈光照射下泛起令身油光,味道不咸反而帶有絲絲香甜杏味,油潤甘美。

集合三種高貴的火腿,價錢不過是$128,比起其他同類型的西餐廳,動不動便二、三百元,確實超值得無話可說,用來佐酒一流。如果再能配上一點點芝士粒或杏脯乾果,風味更佳。

單純吃火腿怕悶?
唔使怕,可以一同配搭蕃茄麥包,新鮮的蕃茄打成蓉醬,味道出奇地清香又不覺有草腥味,麵包沒有烘得熱辣辣的端上,總覺得欠一些味感,不過質感有煙韌搭救,再襯上咸香味濃的火腿,口感新奇有趣。

一客四件的三文治,端上來時才知道自己沒有後悔加了$20換取的Truffle,小妹貪得意打開兩層的三文治,松露醬就像芝麻一樣塗得黑黑麻麻,份量真的給予得十分慷慨,烘熱煎香了的三文治,熱力令松露香氣濃郁撲鼻,也令黑毛豬火腿變得柔軟油潤,但咸香味完全不減風采,配合金黃脆口的三文治,美味得頂呱呱。

刺穿荷包蛋,蛋汁沿著密密麻麻的薯仔粒之間縫隙而流過,令煎香了的薯仔粒,減少原有的熱氣感,更帶來濃滑的蛋黃香。滿滿實在的薯仔粒,填飽飽腹感外,配上西班牙人熱愛的辣肉腸,紮實油香的口感,滲出陣陣紅椒粉甜甜的微辣,惹味非凡。

西班牙傳統風味揉合泰國特色,燒香的黑毛豬豬頸肉配合泰國柚子沙律,豬頸肉鬆化彈牙,油香四溢,肉香濃郁奔放完全超乎想像。黑毛豬是小妹首次吃到風乾之外的熟食小食,感覺特別而充滿期待。雖然口感油潤,幸好有柚子清涼水漾微甘和香辣粉點綴,令油潤的質感變得更為可口,是一大新派菜式的成功之列。

甜品永遠是每一餐飯最完美的句號。首選了「西班牙油炸鬼」Churros,手指size的油炸鬼,表面沾滿砂糖,入口除了香脆之外,內裡也有種像韓國年糕般軟熟煙韌,十分有趣。再醮點暖笠笠的朱古力醬,明顯沒有加入多牛奶的mocha口味,濃郁甘香,再有兩小球的雪糕,出奇不意的原來是咖啡味,espresso味道既不常見又甘香,多吃也不覺膩,唯一要稍作改良是可可醬的稠度可以再杰身一點。

埋單的時候,員工徐徐遞上一個鮮紅色的點心籠,初時還以為是飯後送上一點糖果,但一打開卻原來是收據,真的鬼馬又搞笑。就連比錢埋單都有較含蓄的低調玩法,不論餐廳的美食,環境,什至服務方面都有新潮風格,實在與店名的「超高、超卡」的超高質、超卡士不謀而合,值得給予高分。

Then, we had the jamon ham toasties, and beef burgers. The toasties were basic, but satisfying. The beef burgers were super juicy and full of flavour, with a special fusion kick of a slice of Japanese ginger. A nice touch!

Finally, we ended with the "Apollo" - 2 sunny side up eggs, topped with chorizo and served over crispy potato. A great demonstration of comfort food with a bit of flair.

Overall, a good second experience. The dishes, while not technically difficult to prepare, are put together with a lot of love, and high quality ingredients. The Owner, Jerry, is there most days and ready to greet his guests with a smile. A nice choice for a casual gathering with 2-3 friends. It's a small shop with a lot of heart, and worth a try in my books.
