Dinner with my girlfriend for our monthlyversary. Walking along Elgin and Stauton and thinking where to go. We walked pass Craft Steak and l was impressed by the open kitchen with the huge grill. The journey starts... The journey starts...
Santa Christina (Red Wine): Not a big fans of wine but Santa Christina is easy to drink, smooth and I like it. (8/10)
Onion Soup: I am a huge fans of onion soup, the onion soup @ Craft Steak is surely one of the best in town. Must try. (Sunning's onion soup is also one of my favorites). (9.5/10)
Tuna Tartar: Comparing to the sirloin and onion soup, the tuna tartar was only fair. (6.5/10)
Sirloin (14oz, Medium-rare) : Bravo!! Juicy, tender and I can taste the beef's favor. I like the way they grill the steak. (They use coal) (9/10)
Mashed Potatoes (Side Dish): I didn't try this because I was alread full. According to my gf, she said not bad..
Mac & Cheese Gratin (Side Dish): Instead of mixing the mac & cheese together, the chef gives an extra touch - putting the cheese on top of the macaroni and baked it together. The favour is less heavy and a good match with the sirloin. (8/10)
Total HKD958 for two persons. Given the quality of the food, the atmostphere as well as the service, I think it is very reasonable. I hope the Chef @ Craft Steak can keep up the "quality" and "taste" of the food.
Things to improve:
- Table: too small
- Service: not attentive enough...
Definitely will come again...
