平時好少上嚟蘇豪區食嘢,估唔到夜媽媽蘇豪區都有好多食肆營業。除此之外,仲有好多酒吧,好多外國人喺度聚集,好有氣氛。 今晚我哋去呢間餐廳其實都係酒吧嚟㗎,不過又有埋嘢食,而佢主打係乜嘢呢?就係比利時菜。我諗好多人都冇試過比利時菜,就等我哋一齊嚟試下啦。 黎到比利時餐廳一定要飲下比利時出嘅啤酒。即使唔鍾意飲酒嘅你,喺度總會揀到一款啱你嘅酒,無論係酒精濃度小或多都應有盡有。如果唔識揀都唔緊要,因為呢度嘅待應生都係香港人嚟㗎,佢哋好耐心咁樣介紹一啲酒畀我哋。 而今次我哋就飲咗一支黑啤,叫Rochefort 8, 聽佢介紹,應該係啤酒名牌嚟添。唔似其他黑啤咁,呢支入口容易,而且有一陣穀物味道,入口好醇,極力推介。 另外叫咗一杯無酒精嘅mocktail,青蘋果味嘅梳打,甜甜地好清新,但係冰塊多左啲啦。呢個前菜係叫Tomato Aux Crevettes, 係啲蝦仁加埋啲忌廉醬釀入 一個蕃茄裏面, 賣相整得好靚,亦好好味 ,醬甜甜地,有少少似沙律醬,蝦仁好爽。Belgium Ham&Shrimp Croque, 呢度菜有啲似沙律卷 外層炸到好脆,好香口, 裡邊係一啲火腿夾埋蝦嘅肉碎。 好多青口呀!

雖然有9.2%的酒精含量,但當酒入杯之后並沒有感受到太多的酒精味道,而是散發著淡淡的果香和啤酒花味道,酒體呈深紅棕色。入口有著水果的甜美芳香又有著啤酒花的苦澀干爽,一試便喜歡上它。

前幾日經過中環辨事,無意中俾我發現左一間好有外國風既餐廳。餐廳主打比利時食物,入到餐廳,仲有好濃列既外國味啊,好外國啊。Iberico Ham Gran Reserva $178先叫份西班牙伊比利亞火腿送下啤酒,份量都幾多,飲多幾枝酒都得喎。火腿有兩種,有48個月同60個月,火腿油亮,脂肪和肉既比例岩岩好,而且仲要唔係太鹹,我好怕食太鹹,依個無論鹹度同油香都幾好。旁邊放左壓扁左既脆卜卜欖油包,一齊食就囗感更好啦。Roasted Pork Knuckle $268黎依到既原因,係因為有我最愛既豬手啊。豬手可能即叫即焗,都要等幾耐嫁,建議你一開始就叫餐廳整定好啲啦。豬手超級大份,好多客人都有叫,我地兩個人一隻,我自已一個都食左大半隻啦。豬手肉肉質扎實爽囗,好厚肉地,全部食晒都要咬幾內下嫁,哈哈哈。

,飲多幾枝酒都得喎。火腿有兩種,有48個月同60個月,火腿油亮,脂肪和肉既比例岩岩好,而且仲要唔係太鹹,我好怕食太鹹,依個無論鹹度同油香都幾好。旁邊放左壓扁左既脆卜卜欖油包,一齊食就囗感更好啦。

,都要等幾耐嫁,建議你一開始就叫餐廳整定好啲啦。豬手超級大份,好多客人都有叫,我地兩個人一隻,我自已一個都食左大半隻啦。豬手肉肉質扎實爽囗,好厚肉地,全部食晒都要咬幾內下嫁,哈哈哈。

過百款啤酒,莫說是我這類不常飲酒的人,即使是酒徒,都多選擇到不知怎樣揀,酒吧就知道酒客的難處,所以Drink List內都已經分門別類,其中有一頁是Fruit Beers,我們這些喜歡果味重的女士在這裡揀就啱晒。

Fruit Beers內Lindemans、Mongozo和Floris我都已經試過,所以今次我點了St. Louis這個我沒試過的牌子。

Peach味啤酒顏色呈橙色,飲落有很重桃香甜味,酒味極輕,像飲汽水,啱晒我。

It was a bar known more for their beer and alcohol, and later on, i was surprised that their food was equally impressive. They allowed customers to gather outside for drinks as well. The menu was quite interesting in a way that it was grouped accordingly to the country specialty food. Their drink list was very extensive, even the beer list offering over 100 types.

St louis framboise - This beer belonged to the fruit beer range and contained raspberry flavour. The alcohol content was light and it strike a balance between sweetness and sourness. It was easy to drink and not too overwhelming.

Belgian ham and shrimp croquette - Croquette was deep fried till the skin was crispy and hot, and yet the fillings inside was still hot and soft. Potato mixed with ham or prawns was flavourful and filling. Mayo sauce was provided to enhance the taste.

Mediterranean seafood pasta - The presentation was done nicely with 3 pieces of tiger prawns placed on top. There were pork sausages, mussel and diced tomatoes in it as well. Pasta was chewy and smooth, and it was very delicious and flavourful. Prawns were grilled till slightly dry, but still chewy though.

It was a great start followed by the mussels.
Again, it was hard to choose because you could choose from mussels cooked in wine, beer etc.
I went for the beer as I was after strong flavours.
It was a huge pot of mussels served with their homemade fries that are fried twice to get that lovely texture.
The mussels were sweet infused with beer and they were free from grit and beard.
While I was eating them I thought I was lucky that the mussels were beard free but later the Chef told me they had removed the beard before cooking you can just enjoy them.

After the mussels, I had the herb roasted chicken.
The chicken was really comforting because it tasted how a roast chicken should taste, ie fully flavoured by the herbs as they were rubbed evenly and it was roasted just right.
The vegetables that came with it were fantastic because they were cooked thoroughly and flavoured in honey, something difficult in HK because the potatoes are normally too hard as the Chefs just grill them to save time.

Had a sweet ending which is hard in Hong Kong because it is really hard to get proper Western desserts.
The Waffle was done just right because it was not too sweet as the sweetness of the cream complemented it nicely and the Chantilly cream was fluffy and airy.

經過此處無限次,但從來無入去過。因為不是關了門,就是覺得人太多,好迫夾。今日一來,原來從前誤會太深:首先,此店係開下午3點嘅,同埋,晚飯之前,只開前半部份。後半部分晚飯先開。而且裡面別有洞天,稍後再講。雖說3點先開門,但係2:30嚟到,老闆/經理已經好好咁叫我地坐下先。下午2,3點嘅Soho,好寧靜,舒服。呢度主打啤酒,特別個比利時啤酒。今日想飲啲清清地,老闆介紹我飲水果啤,(當時心諗:又係葯水味,我唔會中伏嘅)老闆話呢隻係手工啤,而且用新鮮水果做,而並非糖水,見老闆一臉誠懇,好就信你一次。味道選擇繁多,首先試左椰子味。效果出奇清新,而且好飲,仲嘅presentation 亦好funny. 之前再試左peach, 好girly,無葯水味。ps happy hour 送大大份fries, 好底食物方面,叫左一份carbonara, 同一份燉牛肉,意粉好油,面質太稔,而且無乜味。。。唔係咁好食,牛肉用燉嘅方法煮,味濃肉滑好味之前提過,餐廳後半部份夜晚先開,嗰度可以掟標,相信好多人聚集喺度就係咁解

Pros- open late night and with a wide selection of beer. Good service. Cons - food's pretty bad. Definitely avoid the fried almond coated chicken that's super dry and hard to digest.
