聽友人講沙田中央廣場東海薈最近出品不錯,特別走去一試,叫了二個点心,五彩蝦餃及鮮蝦腐皮卷,另他們介紹了冰鎮蟶子皇及香前班頭腩,另叫了傳統楊州炒飯。二点心都有驚喜,蝦餃皮薄餡料新鮮,一口咬下,湯汁溢出。而以腐皮包着蝦肉做主角,配上有濃重菇香及肉碎,炸得洽好。而冰鎮蟶子皇原來是新請大廚設計多款夏天菜之一,他説因不少食客在夏季多會選擇一些清淡,又或鮮香的菜式,故年年都想給食客驚喜。今年在多款夏季全新菜式中,這個菜最受歡迎。果然食來清鮮,味道清甜。香煎班頭腩是巧廚師功夫粵菜,做得美味而帶脆口,難得廚師功力,最后一樣是楊州炒飯,非常可口,不是以新派炒法,依最傳流落蔥粒,肉粒,蝦肉,飯粒夠干身,是近年食過最好味炒飯。可以看其出品是現場制作,非坊間預制点心等可比。
