Onsen egg was gorgeously cooked, I just love the silky egg whites and the custard-like yolk. Bread crumb brings the crunchiness of the egg, the fragrance of mushroom, and the dashi sauce, they were harmony dancing in my mouth and waken up my palate.

🍔 Iberico pork burger $340
The patty was juicy and nicely grilled with a little bit of charcoal, and it was lightened up with the hint of the spiciness of the sauce aside. It was also served with apple purée, it was not only balanced the taste of grilled meat, but also brought out the freshness of an excellent tastes.

上班日的中午,點了兩個午餐。第一個是凱撒沙律、美國優質牛肩肉6安士、人蔘甜品和咖啡。第二個是番茄水牛芝士、燴美國牛肋排、BABA菠蘿蛋糕和檸檬紅茶。這裏的前菜很出色,不會好像其他餐廳只有例湯或沙律選擇。沙律菜和蕃茄很新鮮,經醃製的銀魚柳很特別。兩個主菜也是牛肉,但有不同的煮法,各有豐富的醬汁和配菜,肉質是好吃的,牛肩肉比較結實,生一點會更好吃。兩項甜品十分精緻,是藝術品,單靠外型不能判斷味道,不同味道的忌廉很驚喜。你以為金鐘高級餐廳是傾生意的人在吃飯嗎?錯了,這裏比想像中嘈吵,可見人生百態。食客有穿着整套歐洲名牌的女士們,亦有穿西裝的禿頭男士們,有另一次還見到慶祝生日的小朋友們。

我们的代沟从点菜开始。男神点了Caesar salad 和flat iron steak,medium rare. 我点了duck foie gras 和Roasted pig leg. 男神是不喜欢冒险的,而我,当听到Roasted pig leg需要等45分钟时,就坚定不移的选择了它,因为我相信只要愿意等待,就可以等到自己喜欢的。
我把生日礼物递给男神,他问为什么要送他礼物,我说想送就送了,其实是因为我生日的时候那些不愉快事件,我是不想开口跟他说生日快乐的,我承认自己有点幼稚和倔强….咬了一口男神pass过来的salad vege, 虽然爽甜,但也就是生菜和沙拉酱,最普通的白沙拉酱,新鲜,但,也就那样吧,不敢冒险的菜,肯定也带不来火花….我和男神说,我还是觉得我们之间有很明显的距离感,我感觉自己无法逾越, 他说,我们之间隔着太多,开心就好…其实我听不清楚他想表达什么,反正我就是觉得,我不是那种,即使没有选择,也会觉得Caesar salad也好的人。

我的前菜来了,duck foie gras (其实是鸭肝酱,和图片有出入)。 卖相就很得人欢心,上面铺了干梅和果仁,旁边挤了一圈芒果酱。 鸭肝酱入口丝滑,里面淡淡的酒香更衬出了肝酱的甘香,加上干梅和果仁,味道出奇的夹,口感层次都很丰富,感觉这才是我想要的前菜吧。男神说这周五想去drink, 我说你那你几点需要离开,他说晚上九点。我说,好…坐在我对面的他,能感觉到我的不情愿吗?我是不是应该拒绝?这种上下半场的安排,有点讽刺…我不喜欢这种游戏,明知没有下半场,为什么要开始…我心情郁闷地挑了点旁边的芒果酱放到舌尖,酸酸的,正好解腻,清新一下我的混沌。

主菜终于上来了,男神给我分了一块他的steak, 一如所料,不好吃。medium rare,入口却完全不觉得tender,肉味都欠奉。在这种餐厅点个steak, 应该是最少出错的,但是,偏偏就是出错了。华丽的环境下,也不见得就一定能吃得上一块好扒。男神饶有趣味地跟我分享起他在上海工作时遇到的一些对我来说有点匪夷所思的经历,他还问我是否能够接受。难道他以为我也是喜欢据扒的人?或者是不追求牛扒的质素,只要餐厅好,环境好,也可以享受这个一刀下去,但可能血淋淋的过程?我不介意血淋淋,但,对象至少应该是一块质素好的扒…

星期五晚,諗住食餐好啲,以慰勞自己一周的辛勞工作,揀選左呢間!到達時,人頭湧湧,很是熱鬧!揀選了現在做promotion 的韓國和牛晚餐,三道菜,@768 前菜 - 和牛他他,鮮嫩可口,鋪在上面得pear,爽口又甜,可惜,portion 太小主菜 - 6 oz 啱女人胃口,火候掌握很好,邊燒得小小焦,脆口,和牛肉質柔軟,🈶️肉汁,一口咬落去,入口即溶,有油脂香,幸福的感覺,附上炸日本甜薯,香甜,好吃過平時的炸薯條好多倍呀!甜品 - 香蕉拿破崙,setting 靚,味道ok 縂括來說,很不錯的水準,招呼極佳。

We had Australian lobster lunch set today and it was unexpectedly good! Fresh lobster meat with perfect seasoning. A memorable birthday dining experience ended with two lovely desserts inspired by Vincent van Gogh’s paintings. The restaurant was full of customers but we had great service by the team. I will definitely come back when I want to have some good food.A special thanks to Mr Steven Lo for his arrangement.

Starter 分別要了煎帶子和鵝肝,帶子很大顆,煎的生熟度剛好,鵝肝煎得乾身香口,沒有油膩的感覺,好吃

星期日中午的商業區,把忙碌的工作放開一下。這是有輕工業風的餐廳,客人不太多,有休閒的感覺。這裏的枱櫈有高有低,有的像酒吧枱,而我們就坐在矮梳化上。我點了甘筍薑湯和澳洲西冷,女朋友點了魷魚西班牙腸沙律和大西洋牙魚。貫徹萬豪酒店的作風,份量比較大。前菜賣相富有特色,牛扒很有肉汁,沒有其他高級餐廳表面燒焦的味道,而魚也有驚喜,口感像北歐吃的鱈魚,鮮味與醬汁很配合。甜品吃了國王餅,是杏仁餡酥皮,很香口甜蜜。這間餐廳價格合理,是自助餐以外的優質西餐選擇。

朋友送來dining gift certificate 一張,所以特登去試吓。金鐘有很多酒店餐廳,這一間似乎從來未幫襯過。餐廳環境唔錯,但枱與枱空間好像有啲窄,尤其是我被安排坐在中間,與毗鄰的二人枱只用一塊玻璃相格,空間感似乎不足。食物方面,送的麵包有驚喜,外脆內軟,一定要試。食物只有四道菜晚餐,食物水準不俗,招呼亦都唔錯,但仍然有改善的地方:例如要等好耐先至得到侍應生的注意,上甜品的時候把我和先生的食物掉轉,但都是小問題... 總括來說,可以一試呀!
